| Ok here's the problem it's not a complaint or anything but sometimes there is no trouble everything loads fine and in time but a lot of times it takes so much time to load like 10 minutes per page. I have the phone line and yes it already goes slow but it shouldn't take that long ang my friends have cable and it takes the same amount of time as me. Is it just too much traffic or what?
I' am so sorry I did not mean to sound bitc$y or anything I just wanted to know. I am not complaining either, I think all the wonderful people that are in charge of this board and take their time to make it the best and as good as it is are great. Please take no offence to this. Just wondering

| Hey, no problem.
What is usually going on is that when alot of people hit the site, it slows down. It doesn't help that we have alot of people with HUGE pictures in their sigs and animated avatars. We are looking into it and thinking that we might have to kill some of the images, which is what it slowing you down. But we don't want to be nazi about it, so we are still looking. Sorry for the troubles. -Wendy |

According to all my doctors, the only cure for my severe itching and other mental disorders is a fix of fiction administered several times a day, Clearly, my needs are desperate, yet, I show no need for the same pics of Max and Liz over and over again. Loading this site is getting worse every day, and it doesn't seem to matter if I'm at home using a cable modem or at work using a T-3 line. Please help me, my hands are beginning to shake, my language is becoming obscene, I'm developing a tic, and I'm losing my ability to spell. wimsey |

| Well, we moved to a new server, in hopes of that helping. We have also asked people to take off the really big ones. Most people have complied... a few haven't. Cookie took off all the animated photo avatars, which should help too.
We're hoping the traffic eases up a bit after the college people go back to class  |
