Re: Tess the real dupe?

I just have to say that there seems to be a bit of revisionism here. Tess was by no means a confused victim in all of this. She was way to proactive, way to in control and had numerous choices that she could of made but she made all of the wrong ones and she deserve contempt. I say to her fans reve...

Re: Tess the real dupe?

My main point was just that Isabel and Michael were more ingrained and more hospitable to the humans then Tess was. The group wasn't exactly the same kind of group from the series Friends. But for the most part they were all together and they all seemed to at least try to like one another. There wer...

Re: Tess the real dupe?

Yeah, but Michael and Isabel didn't make great strides to become better friends with Liz, or Maria, or Alex. But you didn't see any of them become murderers and backstabbers. I would say even Michael and Isabel were more welcoming originally to the humans then Tess was originally. Yeah Isabel and M...

Re: Tess the real dupe?

That is completely open to interpretation. How so? Tess didn't like humans, that much is canon. She either felt that they were insignificant, didn't mean anything and we means to an end, she showed as much pretty much every chance she got. She didn't care about Alex's feelings, nor Kyle's we saw th...

Re: Tess the real dupe?

Yeah but you have to imagine that she was pretty secluded from everybody but Nasedo. I just have to but in here at this part. Tess was given a wonderful gift when the group pardoned her for her actions after the games she played with Max and Isabel when she was first introduced to them. She was giv...

Re: Things that made you want to bang your head against anything

I think I liked the human villains the best, the FBI, Pierce, Agent Topolsky, etc. I agree with Coccy. The entire Antar storyline never made sense. I think they should have gone with the Superman background story that would have pretty much been a great origin story and still wouldn't have changed t...

Re: Things that made you want to bang your head against anything

Can we please forgo the essays trying to dissuade people of those opinions so? I don't see anyone disrespecting anyone's opinion. Just because people have differing opinions doesn't mean that things can't be discussed. I mean isn't that the entire point of the discussing part of the message board? ...

Re: Things that made you want to bang your head against anything

I think it just comes down to different perceptions. I know I personally never saw him as happy with her whenever I saw them together. I actually think that Off The Menu is the only time in which they actually seemed to at least try to be on the same page, because Max "remembered" her and ...

Re: Things that made you want to bang your head against anything

It just never felt to me Max thought about Tess sexually it just happened that night. I don't think that it was in Max's character to sleep with her especially in the context that the show provided for him. Max just isn't that guy, so forcing him into a mold - into an action that isn't him has neve...

Re: Things that made you want to bang your head against anything

To me it's not so much that he cheated on Liz, but he sold his own soul . He gave away his self respect, his values, and his self worth, when he had meaningless sex, and that is just not the Max we knew. As for sitting at home pining, then yes I think he would. at least for a while. It's what he ha...
