"Yes, and the water was quite nice," I said grinning at Maria. "But right now I could go for dinner next to the fire. "Would anyone like to join me?"

I blushed again. What was wrong with me? I'd never met a girl that made me blush, ever. It was a new thing. Oh well, time to focus on the here and now. "Yeah, what do you guys want to do? I started a fire and everything."

Michael "Shoot." I muttered to myself, slightly blushing as I pulled my pants back up. Maria was already swimming away when I heard other voices. I regained my composure and made sure my pants were tightly fastened, before looking up near the fire. The others had arrived. "Maria!"...

When I realized she wasn't chasing me, I swam back over. "Miss me?" I asked, jokingly. "I got you back again, ha."

I came up alright, but only long enough to drag her under along with me. I stayed down for a moment, then popped back up, letting go of Maria as I swam away quickly. "Now you have to catch me," I shouted, laughing.

"Funny," I say sarcastically. Then, an idea comes to mind, and I smirk at her. "You mean, like this?" I ask, splashing her back before ducking under again.
