Re: what's in a name?
Yep. According to IMDB she was named after her mother's best friend, a woman named Michael.nibbles2 wrote:And I think there was an actress called Michael Michele in ER once.
And then there was Michael Learned, who was the mother on the Waltons and also did a bunch of guest spots on Scrubs.

Re: Gossip Girl
OK, all caught up now. I thought the Dan/Serena stuff this week was pretty sweet. I love that it wasn't an immediate "I love you too" from her -- her life's been crazy, it's reasonable she'd have some trust issues. I think Nate's gotten more interesting in the last few episodes. I'm intere...

Re: Gossip Girl
I watch it. I can't help myself. I was a big OC fan too (oh my how I loved Seth and Sandy Cohen).
Rufus & Lily are the most compelling pairing, IMO, but I enjoy all of them. I still have last week's ep to watch . . .

Re: Colin Hanks (Alex Whitman) News
Sarah, you are not alone. I thought that too and then swooned a little thinking about how Alex might have turned out to be this hotshot computer guy he's playing, that is, if TPTB hadn't screwed up that storyline so royally!

Re: Shiri Appleby (Liz Parker) News
I saw the movie over the holidays and got a big kick out of seeing her onscreen. Charlie Wilson called her "Jailbait" throughout and that's the name given her character in the credits too. Heh.

Re: Jason Behr (Max Evans) News
Oh, I totally agree that it was JB and Shiri together who made the coupling work. Their chemistry was amazing! And yes, his film choices have been awful! Most of the stuff I was referencing though was blasting him for his work on Roswell, which is near and dear to me. I know he's capable of s...
