Shiri Appleby (Liz Parker) News

Hi I'm new here. I just like to comment on here about Shiri and her bold moves. I think Shiri has done what the script calls for. it was a very provocative scene. But compare to others who done the same thing I think this is quite tame. Shiri is an adult she definitely does not look like a teenager who got caught having her pants down. I think we should lightened up on this since she is such a nice girl very accommodating, never give her project nor her co-star a bad rep. She never dissed anyone. And beside She's not the only actresses who have done this for the first time, there are others before her and more well known at that. And besides this is 2013 not the 18th hundreds. Jason Behr has his share of nudity, Majandra and Emilie de Ravin and Katherine Heigl has pose nude and semi nude in the past why are they not getting a bad rap.. I think we should start to accept that Shiri is NOT Liz Parker anymore. Just a suggestion.

I must say that I agree with you 100% about what you said about Shiri. Movies are business and if you don't do it, the others would have no scruple to do it at her place. She is a beautiful woman and Roswell is long gone and she must follow the train of work, before her baby comes...

There was also a completely nude twitpic that popped up a few days ago; apparently she's not the best with Twitter and accidentally posted it?! But luckily for her, none of the media blogs are making a very big deal out of it, so hopefully it won't do her any harm!

I don't think it was a going to be a big news, if she had this during the early part of her career like after Roswell or during Roswell it would have been a big deal. But now they just treated it as like an ordinary picture of a woman without clothes on. oh well.

I wasn't hating on Shiri or her career moves at all...Roswell was like 14 years ago so I know she's definitely not "Liz Parker" anymore. I was just saying that the scene made me uncomfortable, which is my opinion. She is still one of my favorite actresses and I hope she continues to act as well. There's nothing wrong with her co-worker from her time on girls, Adam, either. I do not like the character he plays, which is another opinion I have.

If you read the interviews she did about being on the show she mentions how everyone was great and Lena Dunham is a genius, which I totally agree with. They're acting, and doing a great job, which is probably a good thing seeing as how that's what they get paid to do!
