"Good morning! or is it still too early to say that?" "Would you like a coffee before we leave or are we running short of time?"

"Good morning, Isabel." I greet the princess with a smile before crouching down slightly to pat Cleo. "Good morning to you too!"

"Thanks but no coffee for me and no, we have still a few hours left till we need to leave." I tell Isabel as I get up, scratching the animal behind its ears one last time.

"How about I just go look through your stuff, checking if you have everything and before I forget, you won't have a bodyguard or something with you, will you? Cause that would lead to lots of attention from people."

Okay it will be weird to have a virtual stranger going through my
baggage but it can't be helped. I'd rather have everything essential
with me than be sorry later.

Shrugging my shoulders carelessly, I pretent not to take care about
the fact that my bodyguard won't be escorting me on this trip.

"No...Martin won't be coming with me this time thouogh he's not too
happy about that. He's been with me ever since I can remember. His
father was my mothers bodyguard" I explain "it's like a family
tradition."

Retrieving my bag from behind the sofa, I place it in front of him,
"Here you go. I was tempted to pack more but restrained myself."

"Only one bag? I'm impressed, your highness." I comment as I crouch down in front of the bag. "Even I have two bags packed."

Maybe those Antarian Royals are a bit more practical than the ones we have on Earth. And 'Martin' is her bodyguard? And it's tradition that his family protects hers? Oh great! I can already see it - if something happens to Isabel, then I might just get castrated as punishment!

"You know, I said that a bodyguard wouldn't be best but that might have been a bit forward on my part. After all, you are the one who knows whether you need protection from enemies or not."

Waving my hand in the air, I try to appear unworried, "I'm sure it'll
be okay. It's not like I undertake a trip like this every day so it'll
be unexpected and I doubt anyone wants to kill me. Anyway, is
everything I require in there?" I ask

I know I'm looking slightly doubtful at Isabel's explanation about having nothing to worry but I decide against commenting on it - for now.

Anyway, is everything I require in there

"Uhm yeah ... looks like it." I must admit, I'm slightly surprised that she really seemed to have thought of everything. When I think back on what I forgot to pack on my first trip ...

"Aha!" I say with a slight feeling of satisfaction, "I think you should pack a flashlight - you never know when you might need one. And some bandages - I'm sincerly hoping no one of us gets hurt in the slightest and I have some stuff with me but ... better be prepared than sorry."

I look at him in alarm when he says bandages. Okay so I hadn't thought
this was going to be that dangerous but then again we are going to
Africa.

"Oh okay." I reply and go in to the guest room which has extra
supplies, rummaging through the bathroom cabinet for bandages and then
checking the kitchen for a flashlight.

"Aha!" I find one in the hardware drawer and show it to Alex when I go
back out in to the living room "Here you go. I think I'm all set."

"Thanks" I mumble as I store it all away in her bag before standing up. "You sure you can live with only one bag? I mean, we'll be there for more than two days."

"And ... you aren't afraid of flying, are you? I knew you flew to Earth but ... I'm sure a spaceship trip is different than a plane one and who knows, you might have been scared back then too ..."

I shake my head slight, "No...no fear of flying. Sorry to disappoint
you. No princess here who is a damsel in distress. And I think I have
packed enough and as you know I can change the colours and shapes of
my tops so it makes no difference how many I carry."

"Aww, that sucks. I was looking forward to the damsel in distress part." I joke. "Oh well, I certainly odn't have to worry about carrying your stuff then when you have even less bags than me, huh?"

I really have to ask her about those abilities to change things later but I want to wait till we are on our way over the Atlantic so she won't change her mind about the trip because I'm so noisy.

"But, you can of course feel free to carry my things."

I roll my eyes at his sarcasm and attempt at making a joke, "I just
might zap your bags in to nothingness if you don't look sharp." I
retort as I walk away from him and in to the kitchen too get a glass
of water for myself, throwing him a look over my shoulder, "Let's see
who'll be in distress then."

Haha...thought he could poke fun at me and get away with it. This is
going to be an interesting trip. From what I have seen, Aex thinks I
am spoilt...well yes I am a bit since I am royalty but I can do things
for myself.

"Would you like a glass of water before we leave?" I ask him from the
kitchen. In the meantime I must leave a note for Max. I haven't seen
him for the past few days. It's like we don't even live in the same
house anymore.
