Vacationing From RPGs *Please Read*

Hi everyone!

I am finally getting around to someone’s suggestion. It was brought to my attention that it would be more effective if people could announce on a single thread instead of posting it in every RPG they are in that they are leaving for any period of time. And I agree. That is what this thread is for.

If for some reason you need to take a break from an RPG for a set period of time, or if you wish to leave and have your part recast, this is where you announce it. For example, if I was to go on a vacation for a week, and I needed to have someone temp for me I would post here to announce that I was leaving for vacation and a temp might be needed for my part.

~*~ ~*~ ~*~

Here is a model of how the post should look:

I hate to do this, but I am going on vacation and I will not be able to participate in any of the RPGs that I am part of. I will be gone from/for (enter the time period). I will be returning and would like to still be a part of the RPGs that I am in when I return.

Here are the RPGs that I am in:
RPG title and Role you fulfill

Thank you,
Sugarplum

~*~ ~*~ ~*~

And that is about it. Please check this thread periodically to see if anyone in your RPG is leaving. I hope that the rest of you like this idea.

Thanks for reading,
Katie

PS. Please cast your vote in the poll.

A few weeks back my sister quit roleplaying. I understand that some of you were her friends. She thought of you as her secound family. I am sorry to report that my sister has passed away. But, she did turn eighten March 3rd, she always talked about how excited she was about her eighteenth birthday.

Words can't express my deepest sympathies to you and your family. Jamie was truly a wonderful girl and I was sad when she quit RPGing. Now I'm utterly devastated. She will be sorely missed.

Jamie is one of these people that can never be expressed in words. She had heart of gold and mind of wisedom.

We talk everyday now it will be hard not talking to her. May God rest her soul in peace. Best wishes her family.

I'll miss you Jamie.

So terribly sorry to hear about the loss of someone who was so young and obviously dear to many. I didn't know her well at all but I know that death of a loved one is hard to take no matter what the circumstances. My deepest condolences.

Memory of Jambeth (dreamer393)

This is for you Jamie.

Here I am hearing the worst words I ever heard in my life.

I don’t know how I feel.
I don’t know what to say.
I don’t know if I should cry.

I knew this girl with love, compassion and affection the people she loved and knew.
And she was taking away from us in a split second.

I feel so sad that I didn’t get a chance to tell her that I loved her.
I didn’t get the chance to say good bye.

And I will miss her.

I will miss her smile.
I will miss her laughter.
Most of all I will miss her

I will miss everything about her.

She was a person like no other.

She was special
She was loved.
She was my angel.

And I will always remember her for the love she shows me.

She taught me to be myself.
She taught me about friendship
She taught me about life.

Most of all she taught me about love.

She was a friend
She was a daughter
She was a sister

I will miss you Jambeth

Every passing, I will miss you more

Every month,
Every year,
Every day,

I want to cry but I've refuse to.

If I cry I know she will be sad
And I don’t want her to be sad.

I will be happy.
I will be happy because she’s now in a place where she will be love.
She will be in a place where she will be happy.
She will be in a place where she can be free.

She will be in a place where I can look up and say, ‘I love you’

Good bye
I’ll miss you always.
