FANFIC COVER ART
  • Cover art may NOT include any full nudity or pornographic material. We have children and or young adults that this material is not suitable for their viewing. If it can't be shown in the 8 PM EST TV slot on the networks, it doesn't belong on Fanatics. (If you need to get approval before posting send it to either Kath7, Kzinti_Killer, Bordersinsanity or Angel and they'll get back with you.)

OTHER IMAGES WITHIN POSTS
  • Do not display any art that has any full nudity or pornographic material. We have children and or young adults that this material is not suitable for viewing. If it can't be shown in the 8 PM EST TV slot on the networks, it doesn't belong on Fanatics. (If you need to get approval before posting send it to either Kath7, Kzinti_Killer, Bordersinsanity or Angel and they'll get back with you.)

SIGNATURES
  • Signature banners may NOT include any full nudity or pornographic material.

You get the idea. One of the Mods for this forum, or me if you can't reach them.

Thanks,
Rick

Um . . . I have a question to any of the mods here.

I have some fan art that I've recently been making, and the images used are merely screen caps from the Roswell show itself, or photo shoots of the actors. Nothing inappropriate there by any means.

But on these pictures, sometimes I've used some sort of---how do I put this?---like provocative quotes. I just had a lot of these hot, clever dirty quotes stored up and thought I would use them on fan art. For instance, one says "I fucking love you. & I love fucking you."

It's really no different than the adult fanfic material that gets posted on this site, but I was wondering, is it okay to post fan art that maybe says adult content but doesn't display adult content?

If anyone knows, please respond. Thanks.

April, sorry for the delayed reply. I don't check this forum often.

Are you just planning on posting the stuff on these threads? I think it's fine as long as you post a warning first. You could even try posting the URL to any questionable images, instead of the image itself. But I think it's fine with a warning (kind of like rating a fic).

Hope that helps.

Thank you. This is kind of what I was thinking I would do.
