'The Corona Incident'

Post by Robert M. Blevins »

Well, since the book won't be released for a few months yet, I figured it would be okay to tell you about a book based partially on the REAL incident at Roswell in 1947.

Official Blurb:

A small-town sheriff in New Mexico...a mysterious man found wandering in the desert...a dogged Federal agent and other characters are on a collision course with destiny. 'The Corona Incident' is the story of a young quantum physicist who tries to answer the ultimate question:

Are we alone in the universe?

2017 A.D.
Dr. Ray Stafford was already published in scientific journals at age fourteen. By his twenty-fifth birthday, he held a double doctorate in physics and math and was teaching at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. But even MIT soon wearied of Dr Stafford's strange experiments, and eventually let him go.
Now, he has invented a device that may be able to penetrate the space-time continuum and enable travel to the past. It's not perfect. It is an unreliable prototype. He plans to answer this 'ultimate question' by traveling back in time seventy years to observe the famous Roswell crash for himself.

However, the government is beginning to suspect his work goes beyond the norm and they are closing in...

Dr Stafford is forced to take a chance on the prototype before the authorities break down his doors and usurp the work of a lifetime.

What follows becomes 'The Corona Incident.'

'Corona' is my fourth novel. You can see a preview, etc. over at http://www.adventurebooksofseattle.com/ ... ctions.htm

Comes out in April, 2007.
