Saw my favorite band of all time.....Guns 'n Roses.....in concert in Nashville Saturday night it was F%$#ing AWESOME :!:

They put on a show for THREE hours!! Played ALL of my favorite song of theirs! It cost me one hundred and eighty dollars for a ticket but it was worth it......for I never got to see them in their hay day together back in my younger years!

Considering I spent the weekend meeting and getting autographs and photos with James Marsters, Ian Somerhalder, Eliza Taylor, Lindsey Morgan, and Zach McGowan, I'd say my weekend was PRETTY DAMN FANTASTIC.

Now I just need to have this experience with Bob Morley!

That's cool that you had fun. I've met a few Buffy folks at Dragon Con. I met Juliet Landeu(sp?) aka Dru,Clara Kramer aka Glory,Amy Acker aka Fred and Eliza Duskhu aka Faith. I still kick myself because the one year I didn't go.....Charisma Carpenter aka Cordelia was there...she's one of my many want to meet and get autographs from!

I found an old video that has two close family members who have now passed away. One of old age but the other before her time(car accident).

Part of me is happy that I can see them and hear their voice again.....but than it's tempered with sadness that I had thought buried a long time ago....mostly due to the fact all I had to look at was a few non moving pictures. But here they are now all life like on screen....and the once thought long buried feelings come quickly back to the surface.

I guess finding this old footage is a blessing and a curse....... :?

My day? Not bad. Work went pretty quickly, and I met a good friend at a coffee shop for dinner and writing, got some words on a YA fantasy novelette that I might still be able to trim down to a short story.

Will have to go to pay for a passport renewal this morning, oh joy.

never posted in this thread before, so here it goes. I'm under the weather and confined to my bed for the moment. It's day 2 and I'm a bit stir crazy. I'm browsing Netflix for movies to watch. I'm also re-watching the first season of "The Crown", which is a great show. This month is going to be a bit difficult, but I'm really looking forward to Thanksgiving break and spending time with family.
