SUUUUUCH a sweetly sexy little beat to it. I had to listen to it while I was writing a few scenes of Someone, Anyone.
Super interested to see which scenes were written while you listened to this song, April. It's gorgeous... and as someone who works from home, it's the perfect kind of background music that will keep me interested but not distracted from getting my work done. ;)

I'm really digging Agnes Obel's "The Curse" this week, thanks to an NPR music podcast pointing me toward it. Her use of strings and harmony is haunting.

^ That's a great song! I had never heard it before, but I really love it. Thanks for introducing me to it.

I'm just totally into this, like, freakin' sexy ambient music right now. This one's got a sort of electronic feel to it, though, so I guess it's more trip-hop than ambient. Whatever. The song sizzles. It's sexy.

This time it's a week song!

This week we had sad news in Belgium. The one and only Luc De Vos, leadsinger of the group Gorki, died last Saturday. He passed away way too soon at the age of 52 from a heart failure.

His music wrote history in our country (rock music in Dutch instead of English) and he was known for his profound lyrics and his down to earth way of living.

Luc, this one is for you!

Mia

For my friends who speak English: this is a cover in English, by Milow (another Belgian band):
