I meant to watch this, but I forgot it was on! I don't suppose it'll be re-shown before next Thursday or I can watch it somewhere online?

Yes, I did watch and it was very good. I think CW has a hit with this show.

I'm sure they will show re-runs again. It was CW's most watched SP.

I loved it. I got the same feeling I did watching this that I did watching Roswell. That is a big deal for me.

I watched it and thought it was very good. It's different than the books but the differences weren't anything that I couldn't get over. Also I just have to say this...Paul and Ian are HOT. I've loved Paul since Wolflake and Ian since Young Americans and Life as a House.

So I've never read the books. I ended up watching the show on the CW website and . . .

I think I'll watch the next episode. I wasn't blown away, but I can definitely see this being a hit for the CW.

I like Damon. He's intriguing. Stefan (is that how you spell it?) and Elena . . . well, I'm not so much interested in them. I don't know why, but the "main characters" of shows often irritate me, especially when they're so obviously "meant" to be together right from the beginning. (Max and Liz are an exception!)

That teacher in this pilot episode *shakes head* I'm so tired of teachers being depicted as ass-hats on TV! No teacher would call his student dumb, which is what I think this teacher did. Whatever. Minor detail.

There was some cheesy stuff like the fog and the birds and the diaries.

I was a little disappointed in the music selection. After hearing Metric's "Help I'm Alive" on the promos, I thought this show would introduce me to a lot of new music, but instead, I heard music that was not at all cutting edge. Although props to the show for using "Kids" by MGMT, since that's easily one of the best songs of the entire year.

It still pisses me off that there is such a "vampire phenomenon" sweeping over pop culture right now, and Buffy was doing it so much better over a decade ago.

But for all that complaining, I actually did enjoy the episode and am willing to give this show a chance.

I'm not really into Elena or Stephen either. Damon pulled me in.

I'm like I don't want to like it, because so many vampire stuff. Yet this one got me. First time I've been really into a vampire since Spike.
