I'm really happy about Lucky and his success at "capturing" Khivar. That way he didn't get the easy way out and "just" get executed. Lucky made sure that he got a taste of his own medicine first.

And best of all, Liz is safe.

Now, let's hope that they can find that girl!

I can't wait to read what will happen next between Max and Liz. Lucky is one very happy dog. Cool Max and Liz are spending time together. Glad Maria told the king about the cabin in the mountains. Cool Maria is going to go with Michael and Kyle. Hopefully the girl is still alive and well. So Serena is going to give Kyle an answer on marrying him. Can't wait to find out about the girl and Serena's answer.

Eve Yes 15 is young. But things are different on Antar then here on earth. Kyle's age comes up here. Just because Kyle asked her to think about it doesn't mean Serena will actually get married at 15. She does need permission of both her father and King Philip to do it!

Jo Oh yes Lucky made sure that Kivar really paid for the way he treated those girls. Liz is safe. With Michael, Kyle and Maria on it I am sure they will find the girl.

Part 34

Serena was up early the next morning and pacing outside Max and Liz's room. She needed to talk to her sister. Kyle asking her to marry him had thrown her a bit. She needed advice from someone. The first person to come to mind was her big sister. She jumped when the door opened and Max came out.

"Liz is wondering if you are going to stay out here all day or did you want to come in?" Asked Max
"She knows I am out here?"
"Well Lucky did. He told her. He could pick up your sent."
"I guess I should go in and talk to her."
"Rena, whatever it is on your mind will be ok. Liz, loves you never doubt that. She wants you to be happy."
"Thanks. Oh and Max, thank you for making my sister happy."
"She makes me happy too."

Max walked off down the hall. Serena took a deep breath knocked and waited for Liz to invite her in. When Liz called out for her to come in Serena opened the door and walked in. Lucky just looked at her from his place on the bed and wagged his tail. Liz looked over and smiled at her sister from her dressing table where she was brushing her hair.

"So Rena what brings you by this early in the morning?" Asked Liz
"Kyle wants to marry me."
"That is good news."
"Liz, he doesn't want to wait until I turn sixteen. He wants to marry me after my birthday next month."
"That is big."
"Yeah. I mean you were bearly sixteen when you got married."
"But it was different with me. I had already agreed and gone through the bonding."
"Yes. But you were sixteen and legally could marry without permission anyway."
"While you need both dad's and the King's do to the fact you are a guardian."
"Yeah."
"Rena, do you love Kyle?"
"Yes. I have for a long time. I was so sad when he left for the army."
"Dad may not be to happy about you being with Kyle. I mean yeah he thinks Kyle is a good guy and likes him. But he did just turn eighteen."
"Don't you think I know that? What do you think I should do?"
"This really is your choice. Do you need to give him answer right away?"
"No, he is giving me time to think about it. Besides he just left with Michael to find that girl Kivar took with him when he went into hiding."
"So he wants an answer sometime after he gets back?"
"Yes."
"While I can't tell you what to do. I can give you this advice. Follow your heart. Let it lead you. That is what I did."
"Thanks Liz. You are the best big sister ever."
"I am your only big sister."
"True. So does Lucky sleep on the bed at night?"
"Yeah he does. He sleeps down by our feet."
"He is such a good dog. He really does keep you safe."
"Yeah. You should have seen the look on Kivar's face when Lucky bit him and wouldn't let go."
"That must have been a sight."
"Oh and Michael when he saw what Lucky did looked like he might be sick."
"So what will happen to Kivar?"
"He will be put to death. It is a crime for anyone to touch me without the permission of Max. Relax you will always have permission. You are family."
"That's good to know."
"So what is with your dog acting so sleepy this morning?"
"I think he is still recovering from his steak dinner last night."
"His reward for being a hero taking down the big bad man?"
"Yes. It was actually Maria's idea."
"Sounds like Maria."

The two sisters spent more time talking while Lucky dozed on the bed, but still ready at a moments notice to protect the two young women.

After having bitten Khivar's sex I was afraid Lucky would have been poisoned!

That is good news. Hopefully Jeff and King Philip will let Kyle and Serena get married. It's great how Liz, Serena, Kyle and Maria are all friends and are all together.
