She walked out of the office and went to her desk and sat down
in the chair . She started to finish what was left of her paper work . After she finished , Liz went to meet the girls for lunch . They
all went to eat lunch in the breakroom and started to talk and laugh as they were having lunch .After lunch was over , Liz and the
girls went back to their desks to finish their work . The girls had all their paperwork finished 3 hours later . Liz walkd up to Maria's
desk , and Maria looked up and saw Liz .
"Hey what's up ?" asked Maria as she was putting up her paperwork.
"I wanted to see if you are going to be at the club tonight ."Liz
asked as she looked at Maria .
"Yes , I'm going to the club . Why are you asking ?"Maria said as she looked at Liz .
"Oh I just thought me and you could hangout and talk ." she said
"Oh I forgot to tell you everyone liked Alex and his band . " Maria
said .
"Good . I'm glad that everyone liked them . Are you ready to go ?"
Liz asked .
"Yes let's go . I can't wait to have some fun tonight . " Maria said
as she grabed her purse .
Liz and Maria walked out of the office and into their car and drove to the club . When the got there , they walked in and went
the dressing rooms . The girls changed clothes and make up . Liz
went to her closet and found black leather pants and a black vest , she saw that it showed her cleavage and half of her tan
stomach. Then she went and sat down infront of the mirror and curled her hair . After she was finished she saw that she looked
different . Meanwhile in a different room Maria went to her closet
and found a black mini skirt with a white tank top .
Maria and Liz walked down the stairs and went to the bar . When they sat down , Bear the bartender handed them a glass of
beer . Bear and Teddy went and set things up for tonight while the
girls drank their beer . Isabel , Tess , Ava and serena walked in and
smiled at Liz and Maria as they went to their dressing rooms . A few
minutes later , Isabel came down stairs wearing hiphugger jeans with a red halter top . Serena then appeared wearing a black leather skirt with a flowery halter top . Both girls walked to the bar
and sat down with Liz and Maria . Tess came down stairs wearing
hiphugger jeans with a blue bodysuit while Ava decided to wear a
denim mini skirt with a white t-shirt .
Everyone met at the bar and had drinks . After the girls finished
their drinks they helped Bear and Teddy get ready for tonight .
Meanwhile Alex and his bandmates went to pick up Max and the guys . They drove to the club and saw that it was still early , so
they got out of the truck and went to knock on the club's door .
When the door opens , there stood Maria . She let them in to set
up . While Alex and his band set up their instruments , Max and the
the guys went and sat down at the side next to the wall and the
stage . They were ready to hear Alex's band play . Liz and girls were ready for the club to open .

The club was packed by 8pm.Alex was on stage getting ready to play.
Max and the rest were waiting for the music to start.Bear and Teddy were

and I forgot about the book. Good memory, Max. Why were you visiting

"I needed a place to crash while my apartment was getting cleaned for me and my roomate to move into.And plus I wanted to let her know I would be there if she needed anythig since I was in training to be a cop."

"Well me and Maria own this club. So we do both secretarial work and

As Liz and the girls were driving away,someonre came out from behind the bushes and said."as soon as youget this letter and box you will never feel safe again."The person got in his car and drove to Liz's apartment and dropped the letter in her mailbox and drove off.

Chapter 7
In the morning:
Maria was the first person up. She got dressed and went to check on the mail; she looked in the mail box and saw that it was full. Maria looked through the mail as she was going upstairs to the apartment.
Meanwhile in the apartment:
Liz was trying to find her sandles to wear with her sundress. When she
finally found her shoes she walked into the kitchen and saw Maria. Maria
was wearing bell bottoms jeans with a blue off the shoulder shirt. Maria
looked up and smiled at Liz. She found 3 envelopes for Liz and handed them to her.Liz saw one letter was from school. She opened the letter and
and read it. She was informed that it was time for her high school reunion.
Liz set the letter down and started to read the second letter which was
from her parents. She opened the letter and read that her parents and
another couple were coming for a visit. She set that down and opened
the third letter.
Dear Lizzy
You know who we are. You will be getting a surprise sent to you at the
club. We hope you will like hat you sent you. You and Jim will pay for sending us to jail you bitch. We'll see you very soon.

After Liz read the note she put it in the envelope. Then she got up and
walked to the cabinet and grabbed a ziplock bag. She put the envelope in
the bag then put the bag in her purse. Liz and Maria grabbed their purses
and made sure that the apartment was locked. They both got in Maria's
car.and drove to the station. When Liz and Maria walked in they saw Jim ,
Max and the guys go into Jim'a office with boxes of files.
Liz and Maria went to their desks and saw the pile of files that were waiting for them. They sat down and started on the paperwork. Liz
stopped her filling , stood up from her chair and walked to Jim's office and
knocked on the door.
In Jim's office
Jim and the guys were trying to look at the cases that need to be finished
There was knock on the door as Jim was looking at the cases.
" Come in." Jim shouted from his desk.
The door opened and there stood Liz. Jim looked up and saw that Liz
was scared.
" What can I help you with Liz ?" Jim said.
" Um this came to the apartment this morning. You need to look at it ."
Liz answered as she handed Jim the ziplock bag.
Jim took the bag and opened it. He looked at the lettr and began to read
it. After he read the letter he looked up and saw that Liz was scared for
her life and for his.
" I'm going to check this letter for finger prints. I want some people at the
club when you get this package ok ? " Jim insisted.
" Ok. But who are you going to get ? " Liz asked as she looked at him.
" Easy , Max and the guys will be there. So that way you will have some
people there if there is ant trouble. " Jim said as he looked at the guys.
the guys were surprise by what Jim said , but they knew that they would help her out. Liz turned to look at the guys and smiled.
" Thank you guys. I could use all the help I can get. "Liz told them
" Good then it is all set . I'll let you know what the lab says on the letter . "
Jim said as he looked at Liz
" Ok . I hope that they left something on the letter and on the envelope. "
Liz said as she walked towards the door.
" Wait. Liz I need to talk to you for a minute. "Alex called as he got up from his chair and walked to her.
Liz and Alex walked out of the office and stood at the side. They both
knew that it was hard to lrt Jim do what he does.
" I wanted to see if you are really ok. You looked scared for some reason
" Alex said as he looked at her.
" Alex , I'm fine. I have a lot going on. Are you and the guys doing to be
at the club tonight ?" Liz asked as she looked at Alex.
" You know we will . We'll be there at 6pm , ok? Alex told her
"Ok . I just got to let Maria know that and also that the club will be closed
tonight ? " Liz said to Alex
Alex nodded his head as he answered. And then he lookd around.
" I 'll see ou later . I better go back to work . "Alex said as he was ready to go

Liz went and sat down at her desk . She was bitting her lip as she
wondered who would do this as she did her paper work .
In Jim's office
Jim and the guys were still working on the files . Alex Lokked up from
his paperwork and saw that Jim had a worried look on his face .
" Is everything ok Jim . " Alex asked as he looked at Jim
" Yeah everything is fine . You guys need to watch out for the girls tonight
. "Jim said as he looked them
" You know we will . I hope hat whatever is going o is not bd . "Alex said as he looked at the files.
" Good . Thank you for watching out for Liz and The girls tonight . I'm
worried about them . " Jim told them
" Why are you so worried for Liz , dad ?"asked Kyle as he looked at his father.
" Well because Liz has been through a lot and she needs to be looked after
somethimes . "Jim answered .
" What has she been through that was o bad ?" Max asked Jim
" I can't tell you . All I can say is that it was really bad . " Jim told Max
Jim picked up the phone and called for an officer to come to his office.
The office came and looked at Jim and the guys . Jim grabbed the ziplock
bag and handed it to the officer .
" I want you to check for finger prints on this and let me know what you
find , got it ? "Jim told the officer .
The officer walked out of the office and went to check for finger prints.
the officer found 5 finger prints on the letter. He went to see ho the finger prints belong to.One was Liz's and 2 other other ones were Maria's and
Jim's but he didn't know who the other 2 belong to.The officer went to the
computer and went through the database and found that they belong to Clay Adams and Matt Cross . After he got all that printed the finger prints and file report and then went to Jim's office . He walked in Jim's office and
handed him the paper .
Jim looked up and said" thank you . You can go now , officer ."
The officer walked out the door. Jim looked at the report and saw who
the other 2 finger prints belong to and was surprised. He didn't know how
he was going to tell Liz the news . Jim picked up the phone and dailed Liz's
number.Liz didn't anser the phone till the third ring .
" Hello . This is Liz , how can I help you ?" Liz said as she looked at the files .
" Liz , this is Jim. I need you to come to my office. I got the paperwork
back. You need to see this. " Jim said as he looked at the paper work.
" Um ok. I'll be there in a minute. " Liz said as she looked up from the
files.
"Ok. See you in a few. " Jim said before hanging up the phone
Max and the guys idn't now what to do. They saw that Jim was shocked
by the report. They just sat there and worked on the files. Liz got up from her chair and walked to Jim's office and knocked on the door.
" Come in Liz " Jim yelled from his desk.
Liz walked in and up to Jim.
" Here, you need to see this . " Jim said as he handed her the paper .
Liz lookd at Jim then looked at the paper . She saw her , maria's and
Jim's finger prints. Then she saw the other 2 finger prints and froze . Liz
was shocked and scared . She dropped the paper and passed out.
Jim and the guys got up and laid Liz on the couch . They tried to get her
to wake up . 5 minutes later Liz woke up and looked around . She saw
that Jim and the guys were looking at her.
" Are you ok , Liz ?" Jim asked as he sat with her .
" No . I can't belive that Clay and Matt are oing this to us ." Liz said as she
looked at Jim.
" Don't worry , we'll stop them . You know we will . " Jim said as he put his
arm's around Liz .

another couple were coming for a visit. She set that down and opened
the third letter.

After Liz read the note she put it in the envelope. Then she got up and
walked to the cabinet and grabbed a ziplock bag. She put the envelope in
the bag then put the bag in her purse. Liz and Maria grabbed their purses
and made sure that the apartment was locked. They both got in Maria's
car.and drove to the station. When Liz and Maria walked in they saw Jim ,
Max and the guys go into Jim'a office with boxes of files.
Liz and Maria went to their desks and saw the pile of files that were waiting for them. They sat down and started on the paperwork. Liz
stopped her filling , stood up from her chair and walked to Jim's office and
knocked on the door.
In Jim's office
Jim and the guys were trying to look at the cases that need to be finished
There was knock on the door as Jim was looking at the cases.
" Come in." Jim shouted from his desk.
The door opened and there stood Liz. Jim looked up and saw that Liz
was scared.
" What can I help you with Liz ?" Jim said.
" Um this came to the apartment this morning. You need to look at it ."
Liz answered as she handed Jim the ziplock bag.
Jim took the bag and opened it. He looked at the lettr and began to read
it. After he read the letter he looked up and saw that Liz was scared for
her life and for his.
" I'm going to check this letter for finger prints. I want some people at the
club when you get this package ok ? " Jim insisted.
" Ok. But who are you going to get ? " Liz asked as she looked at him.
" Easy , Max and the guys will be there. So that way you will have some
people there if there is ant trouble. " Jim said as he looked at the guys.
the guys were surprise by what Jim said , but they knew that they would help her out. Liz turned to look at the guys and smiled.
" Thank you guys. I could use all the help I can get. "Liz told them
" Good then it is all set . I'll let you know what the lab says on the letter . "
Jim said as he looked at Liz
" Ok . I hope that they left something on the letter and on the envelope. "
Liz said as she walked towards the door.
" Wait. Liz I need to talk to you for a minute. "Alex called as he got up from his chair and walked to her.
Liz and Alex walked out of the office and stood at the side. They both
knew that it was hard to lrt Jim do what he does.
" I wanted to see if you are really ok. You looked scared for some reason
" Alex said as he looked at her.
" Alex , I'm fine. I have a lot going on. Are you and the guys doing to be
at the club tonight ?" Liz asked as she looked at Alex.
" You know we will . We'll be there at 6pm , ok? Alex told her
"Ok . I just got to let Maria know that and also that the club will be closed
tonight ? " Liz said to Alex
Alex nodded his head as he answered. And then he lookd around.
" I 'll see ou later . I better go back to work . "Alex said as he was ready to go
" Yeah you better go . See you later Alex . " Liz said as she walked away
Liz went and sat down at her desk . She was bitting her lip as she
wondered who would do this as she did her paper work .
In Jim's office
Jim and the guys were still working on the files . Alex Lokked up from
his paperwork and saw that Jim had a worried look on his face .
" Is everything ok Jim . " Alex asked as he looked at Jim
" Yeah everything is fine . You guys need to watch out for the girls tonight
. "Jim said as he looked them
" You know we will . I hope hat whatever is going o is not bd . "Alex said as he looked at the files.

worried about them . " Jim told them
" Why are you so worried for Liz , dad ?"asked Kyle as he looked at his father.
" Well because Liz has been through a lot and she needs to be looked after
somethimes . "Jim answered .
" What has she been through that was o bad ?" Max asked Jim
" I can't tell you . All I can say is that it was really bad . " Jim told Max
Jim picked up the phone and called for an officer to come to his office.
The office came and looked at Jim and the guys . Jim grabbed the ziplock
bag and handed it to the officer .
" I want you to check for finger prints on this and let me know what you
find , got it ? "Jim told the officer .
The officer walked out of the office and went to check for finger prints.
the officer found 5 finger prints on the letter. He went to see ho the finger prints belong to.One was Liz's and 2 other other ones were Maria's and
Jim's but he didn't know who the other 2 belong to.The officer went to the
computer and went through the database and found that they belong to Clay Adams and Matt Cross . After he got all that printed the finger prints and file report and then went to Jim's office . He walked in Jim's office and
handed him the paper .
Jim looked up and said" thank you . You can go now , officer ."
The officer walked out the door. Jim looked at the report and saw who
the other 2 finger prints belong to and was surprised. He didn't know how
he was going to tell Liz the news . Jim picked up the phone and dailed Liz's
number.Liz didn't anser the phone till the third ring .
" Hello . This is Liz , how can I help you ?" Liz said as she looked at the files .
" Liz , this is Jim. I need you to come to my office. I got the paperwork
back. You need to see this. " Jim said as he looked at the paper work.
" Um ok. I'll be there in a minute. " Liz said as she looked up from the
files.
"Ok. See you in a few. " Jim said before hanging up the phone
Max and the guys idn't now what to do. They saw that Jim was shocked
by the report. They just sat there and worked on the files. Liz got up from her chair and walked to Jim's office and knocked on the door.
" Come in Liz " Jim yelled from his desk.
Liz walked in and up to Jim.
" Here, you need to see this . " Jim said as he handed her the paper .
Liz lookd at Jim then looked at the paper . She saw her , maria's and
Jim's finger prints. Then she saw the other 2 finger prints and froze . Liz
was shocked and scared . She dropped the paper and passed out.
Jim and the guys got up and laid Liz on the couch . They tried to get her
to wake up . 5 minutes later Liz woke up and looked around . She saw
that Jim and the guys were looking at her.
" Are you ok , Liz ?" Jim asked as he sat with her .
" No . I can't belive that Clay and Matt are oing this to us ." Liz said as she
looked at Jim.
" Don't worry , we'll stop them . You know we will . " Jim said as he put his
arm's around Liz .

they walked to the dressing room and changed clothes. 10 minutes later
Liz and Maria walked down stairs wearing jeans and a t-shirt and went to the bar. When they sat down Bear and Teddy set a can of pepsi each in fron of them.
"Bear, Teddy the club will be closed tonigt. Were just going to relax. " Liz
said as she took a drink of her pepsi.
"Ok. All we got to do is, um . . . make sure everything is stockd up and ready for when the club opens again." Teddy told Liz and Maria .
A few minutes later Max and the guys walked in the club with some flies.Then she sat down with Maria and smiled. Teddy walked to the stereo and turned it on. The music was loud and playing throughout the club. Everyone was keeping busy as they sat around.
A guy walked in the club with a box in his hands and headed dtraight to
the bar. Liz turned and saw the guy.

Max sat Liz on the couch in the dressing room.He looked at her and
wondered what was in the box.He sat down and looked at Liz.A few minutes later,Liz woke up and saw Max looking at her.
"Are you ok?" Max asked as he tried to help Liz sit up.
"Yeah, I'm fine.I just got a surprise that is all." Liz said as she sat up.

She tried to smile back at them.Max and the guys knew that Liz was scared.However,they didn't know what was going on.Maria did not even know what was goging on.But she knew she had to be there for Liz.Maria

In the morning Liz woke up and got dressed.She walked in the kitchen

black dress pants with a white t-shirt.Liz turned and saw that Maria was
wearing a knee length black skirt with a plaid button up shirt.After they ate their breakfast ,they made sure everything was locked before they left
to go to work.Liz and Maria walked to the car,got in and drove to work.
When they go to work,they saw Isabel,Serena,Ava and Tess sitting and waiting for them to walk in the office.Liz walked up to Isabel and the girls.

Meanwhile at the club:
Jim walked in the club and walked to the office. When he walked in , he
went to the closet and found the box.He opened the box and saw the outfit
she wore the night of the rape. In addition, on top of that were two dolls that looked like Liz and him. Jim was surprised that they were covered in blood like Liz said.Now he knows that the danger was close, but did not know what they would do next. He knew that he had to keep Liz and everybody safe from the danger that was around. After he looked at the box and put it back in the closet, he decides that Amy,him and the guys were going to be at the club a lot from now on.
Jim walked out the door of the office, went to the club entrance and walked out. He got in his car and drove home to call Amy, Max and the guys. He told them they need to be at the club tonight.
Liz and Maria drove to the club.When they walked in, they went to their
dressing rooms and changed clothes. A few minutes later, they both walked out of the dressing room wearing hip hugger jeans. Liz wore a white off the shoulder shirt with her jeans. Maria wore a pink halter top with her jeans.
They both came down stairs and sat at the bar.Bear and Teddy put a can of pepsi in front of both of them then went back to cleaning the bar.Liz
and Maria looked around , as they were sitting. A few hours later Liz saw
Jim , Amy, Max and the guys walk into the club. They joined Liz and Maria
while Bear and Teddy brought them their drinks. Th club was quiet with them being the only ones in there.
"Liz, is the club opened tonight?" Bear asked as he watched her.
"No, it's just us tonight ; don't lock the door, ok?" S he said as she lookd at Bear.
"Ok." Bear said, as he walked away.
Jim , Ma and the guys were standing around laughing.
"Jim why did you calls us and told us to meet you here?" Max asked ,as he

Meanwhile at the airport:
Mr and Mrs. Parker walked off the plane first. Then Mr. and Mrs. Evans

Liz, Maria, Alex were all talking and laughing. While Jim, Max and the guys were laughing and having a good time. Amy and the girls were dancing and laughing. Meanwhile at the club:
Jim walked in the club and walked to the office. When he walked in , he
went to the closet and found the box.He opened the box and saw the outfit
she wore the night of the rape. In addition, on top of that were two dolls that looked like Liz and him. Jim was surprised that they were covered in blood like Liz said.Now he knows that the danger was close, but did not know what they would do next. He knew that he had to keep Liz and everybody safe from the danger that was around. After he looked at the box and put it back in the closet, he decides that Amy,him and the guys were going to be at the club a lot from now on.
Jim walked out the door of the office, went to the club entrance and walked out. He got in his car and drove home to call Amy, Max and the guys. He told them they need to be at the club tonight.
Liz and Maria drove to the club.When they walked in, they went to their
dressing rooms and changed clothes. A few minutes later, they both walked out of the dressing room wearing hip hugger jeans. Liz wore a white off the shoulder shirt with her jeans. Maria wore a pink halter top with her jeans.
They both came down stairs and sat at the bar.Bear and Teddy put a can of pepsi in front of both of them then went back to cleaning the bar.Liz

"I , your father and the Evans are going to open more clubs.The clubs will be from here in Roswell to California what do you thnk?" Nancy asked her daughter.
"Oh . That is great ! I think that will be a great idea.Um Question What are
Mr. and Mrs. Evans doing here?" Liz asked her mom.
"We're your parents' lawyers.We need to make sure everything is in order
before your parents sign the paper work," Philip Evans said , as he looked at Liz.
"How long are you going to be visiting?" Isabel asked, as she walked up to her parents and gave them a hug.
"Oh, were going to be here for a week.Then we will be on our way to California," Diane told her daughter as she hugged her.
"Where are you going to stay at ?" Liz asked
"We're staying at the hotel. So that way we won't be in your way," Jeff said

Liz and Maria walked up to the stairs and took the parents to their rooms. After the parents were in their rooms, Liz and Maria walked down the stairs. They saw everyone standing around. Liz and Maris walked up to their friends and they all looked at eachother.

"Our parents are staying here for a week. Tomorrow , the girls and I have to practice after work. If you want, you guys can come by and hang out if you want to," Liz told Max and the guys.

Max and the guys walked out the door to their cars.The guys waited for the girls to walk to their cars. Liz and Maria were closing up the club. After
the girls locked the club, they went to their cars.Everyone got in their cars and drove his and her home. When they got their homes, they went to sleep.
In the morning:
Liz and Maria were sitting in the kitchen eatting some breakfast. After they ate their breakfast , they gathered their things.They locked up the
apartment and walked out the door. Liz and Maria wakled down the stairs
and went to Maria's car. They got in the car and drove to the police station. When they walked in the saw that the office was full of people and
knew that it was going to be busy day.
Liz and Maria went to their desk and started to ork on their paper work.
Liz was hoping that their parents were having fun on their days out. After
Liz filed her paper work, she went to get something to drink. Liz looked around as she walked back to her desk.
When Liz sat down , she saw more files that need to be filed. After a few hours, Maria walked up to Liz. Liz looked up and saw that Maria was standing infront of her desk.
" Hey, Maria what is up?" Liz asked, as she finished her paper work.
"Nothing, I was wondering if you are ready to go eat lunch?" Maria said, as she looked at Liz
"Sure, let me finish filing this and then we can go," Liz said, as she stood up.
Liz walked over to the filling cabinet and put the files in. She turned and that Maria was waiting by the door. Liz grabed her lunch and purse as
she walked out of the office with Maria. They walked to the break room with their lunches and sat down.
