Love you ask?
by Rath

How do I love you, is that what you ask?
Am I to love you to the heights snow peaks?
Or to the depths of the oceans that rest on the beaches?
To where my soul doth reach, you my lover
How am I to count the ways?
You that hath enflamed my soul everyday.

I love thee freely, as a warrior may love
I love thee purely with no reservations, no regrets
I love thee with passion, that summer of our youth
I love thee with honor for that none can attain

From birth to now, we were made one for the other
I love thee with a love that is unfathomable
For our love is eternal, deep, a love that transcends
Bounds and time, sexual and erotic, you I chose
I love thee with my last breath, your name upon my lips
I have to continue love thee with rebirth

My Lover’s Deceit

By Vilandra

I say it now so, Let be it heard
False lies, false hopes, false dreams
Enemy of truth, that be his name
He that forsworn his love for me
Words, words of treason, treacherous
Bastard, a vile evil monstrosity

Perfumed venom spews forth from his lips
Sweet songs he used to entice, sour notes
He plied his craft well, deceit hidden behind walls
Sorrow, deep sadness overshadowed ties
Summer’s love, fleeting like the days
Essence sunburned, searing flesh, reddened

A kingdom lost, the reason insanity
A song of death, is heard upon the winds
A tempest beckons, racing before the flood
A shadow of my former self, flees the inferno
A drop of blood, cannot wash away, sacrificed
A death, one upon the other, my life, my family

One fire burns, unyielding hatred has ignited
One bridge burned, no path to return, no past
One truth revered above the rest, a holy sanctuary
One man, the only one, rejected in falseness
One lie, mountainous, unclimbable, unreachable
One hope, still shines out, a love reigns in doubt

Ah my years have betrayed me, summer long gone
Why can't I get comfortable, death lies immobile?
Why does my soul hurt so, false love, frail vanity?
The sand shifts, the hourglass spins, the years escape
I have repented, is my way lost forever to those I love
I walk now like a person who has lost all but one shoe.

My True Destiny

By Ava

Dare I mention our love on that lost summer's day?
We lay upon the sand, limbs and arms intertwined
So handsome, with hair full of sand, period of play
Vows of fidelity, devotional, words of lovers perplexed

Eyes of the sun witnessed our consummation
Laughter of the moons filled our nights
Your lips upon my body, joyous for our nation

That night I became your Queen, and you my King
Our souls, one in the same, forever yours
The nights grow hot, passion never waning

But our love is enduring, summer shall fade not
Loss of life, of limb, of sight, I shalt not stray long
Grave shall not claim what is mine, eternal lovers knot
Destiny chose us; destiny binds us, iron chains are strong

The King by the Sea
By Zan

A myriad, of years ago, far into the past
Concealed in a monarchy by the sea,
A future king lived there, though not the last
Thought the title great, a child he be
Childish reflections, games not war, metaphrast
Words of love he writes for one he had not seen

A child, playing childish games in the sand
In this land lapping the sea
Waiting for love, love he knows to be, so grand
This child, this king to be
Wings of love these words did fly, to stand
In the wake of morn, silver free

Then as time goes on, the boy grew to a man
Alone in his palace by the sea,
He constructed thoughts, a master plan
To see the one, eternally to be
Days spent in rapture, casting a talisman
Waiting for the day, to be not me but we

He looked out over the churning waves,
The storm stressed sea
His heart breaks, a countenance he braves
A heart strongly beats to be
Yet, out here the tempest paves
With the king, he is to be

A love stronger than iron forged out
Our love of we not me
The road for hearts yearning, reaching out
Those who said it could not be
They could not see deep inside and out
There were no demons twix, me and thee

Summer nights we lay on the sand, silence there
On the shore of the sea
The stars rose in those eyes that night, so fair
The sun doth shine done on me
Damn, that sand really does get everywhere
That sand, that beach by the sea

Making one declare:
These hot summer nights really suck
