Chapter 11

Saturday had came and went but Liz had spent it in bed crying while Serena held her. She felt stupid for thinking he liked her. She felt stupid for thinking he actually loved her. He was probably laughing it up with Cassie as she lay here crying in her best friend's arms.

***

The next day, Serena had to go home. She needed her own clothes and Liz's parents wanted Liz to go to work. So she ended up taking the ride with her dad.

The first 3 hours had been peaceful. No one asked about her or Dean and she was able to keep it out of her mind. That is, until Lexie came in.

Her cousin walked in like a woman out for revenge and Liz knew that Serena had told her what had happened on Friday. So for the next 2 hours, Liz had avoided Lexie like the plague but her cousin was determined and about a half an hour before her shift ended, Lexie got her.

"I heard what happened." She said as she pulled the dish tub from Liz's hands.

"Oh yeah?" Liz asked as she started wiping down the table she just cleared.

"Yeah." Silence stood between the two as they went to the next table and Liz hoped that that was the end of the conversation. "I can't believe he fucked her while he was with you." She snapped as she picked up the dishes and put them into the tub. So much for that.

"Tell me about it." Liz mumbled as she quickly wiped down the table and followed Lexie to the next one to repeat the process.

"But you two have been so...disgustingly sweet and unbelievably happy." Lexie said with a shudder. "It kind of made me sick seeing you two together."

"Thanks." Liz told her as they went to another table. "I think."

After that, Lexie stood quiet. No more talk about her horrible choice in men. When the last table was done, Lexie practically threw the dish tub at Liz. "Here. You do the dishes."

"Okay." Liz said confused.

Lexie had once told her that doing the dishes was like a small break except that she got paid for it. So whenever she worked and the dishes had to be done, Lexie always did them. But instead of making a big deal out of it, Liz just shrugged her shoulders. Maybe God was answering her prayers and she'd be able to kill her last 15 minutes?

As she left the main room, Liz felt like a complete ass. Sure she knew about Dean's past. Sam had told her as much and where ever they went, girls were practically throwing themselves at him. But he only had eyes for her. Or at least, she thought he did. Was Cassie the only one? Were there more girls he screwed while he was making Liz feel like the only one?

Shaking her head to clear her mind, Liz opened the dish washer and began loading the dishes. That's when she heard Serena's voice.

"See. She's not here. I told you Dean. Liz is sick. She caught the flu or something on Thursday and has been up chucking ever since." Gotta love that best friend of hers, Liz thought with a small smile as she finished loading the dish washer.

"That's bullshit Serena and you know it. I already called Mrs. Parker and she said that Liz was here." Damn, her mom gave her up. "So where the hell is my girlfriend?"

"Which girlfriend?" Liz heard Lexie asked and she felt her stomach drop. Maybe she was sick.

"What the hell does that mean?"

"I don't know." Serena answered nicely and Liz felt her stomach turn. "Oh and by the way, Cassie Robinson is in town and she told me to tell you that she would just love another go at it."

"Who's Cassie?" Liz heard Sam demand but she didn't hear the rest because she ran right to the bathroom and threw up what little she had eaten in the last three days.

After dry heaving for about 5 minutes, Liz sat next to the toilet with her eyes closed and refused to think about whether or not the floor she was sitting on was clean.

When her breathing finally returned to normal, she opened her eyes. Enough time had passed that she should be able to stand without her stomach bothering her. So she slowly got up, walked out of the stall and over to the sink.

As she looked into the mirror, she couldn't help but gasp at her reflection. She was so pale. Maybe her dad would let her go home if he saw her like this? Nah. She could stick it out. She only had a few minutes left anyways.

Splashing some water onto her face a couple of times, Liz prayed that no one noticed. She quickly redid her 2 braids to make sure no vomit got into her hair, pushed her stupid bangs from her eyes, popped a mint into her mouth and then left the bathroom.

"Hiding from me isn't going to fix this problem." Liz jumped at Dean's voice.

"What are you doing back here?" She asked a little frustrated. She almost choked on her mint.

"What do you think?"

"I don't have time for this Dean. Go home. I'll call you later." She told him as she walked away but like on Wednesday night, she didn't get real far. This time he had her pinned up against the wall.

"You see, normally I'd believe you but since Serena was so kind in retelling me Cassie's message, I think we need to talk. Right now."

Liz couldn't help but roll her eyes at the mention of Cassie's name. "Look. I'm at work right now and-."

"Actually I heard you barfing. So being the concerned boyfriend that I am, I told your dad and then volunteered to drive you home."

Damn, Liz thought to herself as she bit her lower lip. Her parents didn't know she didn't want to be anywhere near Dean. They didn't know anything really. They just thought she had been sick. Damn. She was regretting that lie right about now.

"I got her Mr. Parker." Dean suddenly yelled before scooping her up into his arms and Liz had to make sure she didn't melt into Dean's warm chest. Her father quickly stuck his head into the lounge a few seconds later.

"Thanks Dean. I'd take her but I have to stay to do the books tonight."

"It's no trouble at all sir." He told him nicely and Liz couldn't help but roll her eyes.

"I'm fine really. I don't need to go home dad." She told him and she felt Dean pinch her side. "Ow."

"I don't wanna hear it Lizzie. Your shift is already over and Jenna has been out on the floor since she got here. You can go home and rest up." Her father told her. "It's not hurting business." Then he looked at Dean. "Now Dean, son, I'm trusting you with my daughter. Can I trust you?"

"Of course you can sir."

"Good. You can go out the back. I don't want to alarm the others." Then her father smiled at her. "I hope you feel better honey."

"Thank you again sir." Dean said as he carried Liz pass her trusting father and out the back door. Once the large metal door slammed close behind him, he put her down. "So, you gonna keep avoiding me or are you gonna be an adult and talk to me about this?"

Liz folded her arms over her chest. "I really don't wanna do this in the alleyway next to my father's bar."

"Fine. Let's go." Dean grabbed her by the arm and lead her to his car. "After you."

Liz huffed but got into the impala. Dean quickly followed after her. Then he started driving. She didn't know where they were going but she wasn't scared. He may have hurt her emotionally but Dean wouldn't hurt her physically. John and Mary had raised him better than that.

After a half an hour ride, Dean had stopped at the lake. Finally, she thought to herself. She had to get out of the car. Being this close to Dean for even that short amount of time, had her walls dissolving. She had to get out if she was going to stay strong. So she jumped out of the car and walked around to the front.

"Hey. What the fuck? What's wrong with you?" Dean yelled as he got out of the impala. He went to reach for her hand but she pulled it away and took a few steps back. "I can't even touch you?" Liz shook her head and started walking towards the lake. "God damn it Liz! Talk to me!"

She stopped short and spun to face him. "Okay. You wanna talk about it? How was she?"

"What?"

"How was she Dean? Was she any good?"

"I'm not gonna dignify that with an answer." He growled.

"Why not? It's a simple question. Was? She? Any? Good?" Liz watched as his lips turned into a thin line. He was getting mad. Good. She wanted him just as mad as she was. "What? I thought you wanted to talk about it?" She asked calmly. "Answer me this. How long were you fucking her behind my back? Huh Dean? How long? A few days? A few weeks? The whole time we were dating?" When he didn't answer her, Liz yelled. "Let's hear it Dean!"

"Once."

"What?"

"I fucked her once. But it was a week before you and I even got together." Dean snapped. "And yeah. She was good."

"I'm glad." Liz spat. Then she held onto her stomach. Maybe she had a bug? "Take me home."

"Are you okay?"

Dean tried to reach for her but she slapped his hand away. "I don't want you to ever touch me again, cheater. Now take me home!"

"Damn it Liz, I didn't cheat on you. I was with her once and that was before we even kissed."

"Have you talked to her since we started dating?" Liz asked more calmly as she wiped away a tear only to have it replaced with another one.

"No."

"Has she been calling you?" Dean nodded his head. "Did she ever call while we were together?" Again Dean nodded and Liz had to bite back a sob.

"I can't stop her from calling me. But you've gotta believe me when I say I don't wanna be with her." He took 2 steps towards her but she took the same 2 steps back. "I wanna be with you Liz. I love you."

Liz felt her heart both break and soar at his words. Max had said the same thing to her in the cave and while she knew Dean wasn't Max, she couldn't help the familiar hurt that shook her. This was all too much for her.

"And I love you Dean." Again he took 2 steps towards her but this time she stayed where she was. "But I've been hurt before." Only her arm stood between them.

"Well, I'm not him." Dean walked towards her until her hand was flat against his chest. "I would never hurt you Liz." More tears fell from her eyes and she couldn't stop them. "Come here." He grabbed her by her hand and pulled her into his arms. "I'm so sorry babe. If I would have known she was crazy enough to come to Lawrence, I would have told her to stay the hell away a long time ago." A small smile tugged at the corners of her lips but Liz didn't smile. She couldn't. "Let's get out of here."

She slowly pulled away from Dean and wiped her eyes with the sleeves of her sweater. Dean had been smart enough to grab both her sweater and peacoat before he went to look for her.

"Yeah. My mom is probably worried." She turned to walk back to the car but was stopped.

"Are we good?" He asked her softly. He was holding her by her hand, his thumb rubbing circles into her skin.

"Yeah." She told him. "We're good."

"Good."

Dean pulled her by her hand and pulled her to him again except this time, he crashed his lips onto hers. This is where she was suppose to be, she thought to herself as Dean's lips slanted over her own. She should have known he'd never cheat on her. She should have known he wasn't Max but her insecurities always got the better of her. Always.

When he finally broke the kiss, Liz finally smiled at him and asked; "What was that for?"

"I've been waiting to do that since you snuck out of my room Thursday morning."

***

Serena was waiting for her when Dean dropped her off. She gave him her meanest glare and then flipped him off when he said goodbye to her.

"I see you guys talked?" Liz nodded as she lead the way to her front door and unlocked it. "Did he explain everything to you?" Liz turned to her.

"Yeah he did."

"Good." Serena pushed open the front door and walked in.

"Wait. What am I missing here?" Liz asked as she closed the door behind her and followed Serena, who was walking straight to her room. "S?"

"Sam and I didn't like Dean's one word answers so we took matters into our own hands." She told her as she took off her coat and tossed it onto Liz's vanity chair.

"And what did you and Sam do?" A small smile spread across Serena's face. "Do I have to give you an alibi?" Liz asked carefully. "Wait. What am I saying? You were here with me. All night. Like you always are."

"We didn't do anything illegal." Serena laughed. Then her smile grew bigger. "Well we didn't do anything illegal to Cassie. Afterwards. That's a different story."

"Okay. Spill." Serena opened her mouth but Liz's hand flew up to stop her. "And not about you and Sam." Serena pouted but spilled anyway.

Apparently, Sam had swiped Dean's phone so that the two could call up Cassie and set up a meeting. Liz didn't even want to think of why Dean still had her number in his phone so she tried to ignore it. Anyway, the whore wanted Dean so badly that she didn't even realized she was talking to Sam instead of Dean. So when she showed up at Joe's, she was shocked when Sam sat across from her instead of Dean.

***

"Who are you?" Cassie snapped.

"I'm Sam, Dean's younger brother." Sam sat in front of the pretty African American girl.

"Where's Dean?"

"He um, I know this sounds stupid but he wants to make sure that you're who you say you are." Cassie rolled her eyes.

"And he sent you for that?"

Sam chuckled. "Being the younger brother of Dean Winchester has its faults."

"So this isn't the first time he's sent you?"

"No."

"Okay fine." Cassie sat back. "What does he want to know?"

"Where did you guys meet and how?" Sam asked nicely.

"I was walking out of the supermarket and he wasn't looking where he was going and he ran right into me. I wanted to curse him out but he was easy on the eyes and had a killer smile."

"And when was this?" Sam questioned.

"Um, the first week of November." Sam nodded.

"Thanks. I'm sorry this was so quick but he only wanted to know those three questions." Cassie nodded her head.

"No problem. So, when will he call?" She asked as she got up with Sam.

"As soon as I give him your answers, he should call." Then Sam said bye and walked away.

***

"Fat chance he's gonna call her." Serena said with a roll of her eyes.

"Actually, Dean wants to meet her in person to tell her to leave him alone."

"Are you gonna go with him?" Serena asked.

They had moved to the bed and were laying side by side, just staring at the black ceiling that had glow in the dark stars spread across it. It had been something she and Alex had done together back in Roswell and when Serena had found out that Liz wanted to add them here, she had wanted to share in the experience.

"He wants me too but I have to have faith in him." Liz let out a sigh. "I have to have faith in us."

"Understandable. I would have trust issues too if I found my best friend making out with my boyfriend right after I had almost been killed." Serena looked at Liz. "Don't worry. I will never do to you what Maria did." Then she smiled. "And I am completely positive, neither will Sam."

Serena laughed at her joke while Liz just smiled. Is that why Maria wouldn't talk to her? Because she had been the one to ruin their friendship? Here she was, thinking Maria was mad because she left but it was the other way around. She was suppose to be mad at Maria because she had caught her and Kyle hooking up. No wonder Alex wouldn't mention Maria to her. That changed things but she still wanted to see how Maria was doing.

Liz sat up and turned to Serena. "You gonna spend the night?"

"Nah. I'd love to but I think my mom and Eric are starting to miss me." She said as she stood up. "Maybe next time?"

"Okay."

"Well I have to go. My mom called me just before you came. Apparently she has to tell me and Eric something but she didn't say what."

"I hope she's not trying to take you guys to New York." Liz said as she followed Serena to the front door.

"I highly doubt it. I mean, she was disowned for choosing her photography over her inheritance when she was around my age. I doubt my grandmother is just gonna give it all back to her after all these years." Serena said with a shrug of her shoulders. "But whatever it is, I promise you, you and I will always be best friends."

Liz smiled as Serena pulled her into a hug. "We better." Then Serena smiled and walked out the front door. "Tomorrow, ice cream and movie night at your place again?" Liz yelled as Serena opened the driver's door.

"Only if we can talk about the amazing time I had with Sam?" Liz rolled her eyes.

"What kind of best friend would I be if I didn't let you brag about it?"

"That's why I love you, Elizabeth Parker. Bye." She got into her car and drove off.

"I love you too Serena van der Woodsen."

Chapter 12

(WARNING: sex scene)

Liz woke up the next day in a cold sweat. She had had a nightmare but she couldn't remember what it was about. All she remembered was running for her life. She didn't know who or what had been chasing her. She didn't even know where she had been. But her fear in the dream had been powerful. She could still feel it pumping through her veins as she took a quick shower.

"It was just a dream." She told herself as she turned off the shower and got out. "It was just a dream." She repeated as she walked into her room.

"What was?" Liz jumped out of her skin when she saw Dean sitting on her bed.

"What are you doing here?" She asked quietly as she closed the door behind her.

"Your dad let me in and said I could wait in your room for you."

Liz cocked her eye brow as she folded her arms over her chest. She knew he was lying. "He did?"

Dean smirked. "No. He didn't. But him and your mom WERE on their way out when I got here and he DID tell me to get comfortable." Then he stood up and walked over to her dresser. "Plus, I've never seen your room before." He picked up a picture frame with her and Serena in it. "It's nice." He put the picture frame down and turned to her fully. "And very you."

Liz smiled at him while still holding the towel. "Thanks." She walked pass him and pulled out a pair of black boyshort underwears and the matching bra. Then she grabbed a green tee with the hulk on the front and turned to leave. "You can stay in here while I-."

Her words were cut off by Dean's lips. The kiss was short but full of passion that sent tingles through her entire body. When they broke apart, Liz stood still in front of him. Her hands hung suspended in the air by his face while his sat on her waist.

"I love you Liz." Dean suddenly said. "I know I already told you that but those 2 days without you were complete hell for me. I didn't want to eat or hang out with my friends. Then Saturday came and suddenly I was excited and nervous at the same time. I couldn't wait to see you but you never showed up. When I called you and you didn't answer, I was scared shitless. That's never happened to me before." His forehead touched her own and Liz felt his cool breath fan her face. "I'm so fucking in love with you that it scares the shit out of me sometimes."

Her heart constricted. She knew that was hard for him. Dean was a manly man and didn't like to fess up to his feelings. In fact, he often called moments like these "chick flick" moments and normally avoided them at all costs. So for him to lay his soul bare to her...

Liz dropped her undergarments from her hands so that she could hold Dean's face more securely. "I completely understand and feel the exact same way." She told him before pulling him down to fuse their lips together.

There was no rush in the kiss, just love. Liz wanted to show Dean just how much she loved him and there was only one way for her to do that. She slowly pulled away from his lips and stared up into his eyes as her fingers undid the buttons to his dark red button down. Then she pushed it over his broad shoulders and let it fall to the floor.

"We don't have to." He told her as he pushed her hair off of her shoulder.

"I know." Her fingers trailed down his shirt covered chest and grabbed the hem of his black Metallica shirt. "But I want to." Then she pulled it off in one easy pull.

Dean stood shirtless in front of her and Liz knew she was done. Even if she wanted to, she could never go back. Her fingers caressed his pale chest, memorizing his every dip and peck. Even his pink, dusty nipples she wanted to remember. When she finally looked back into his eyes, they were dark. Darker than she's ever seen them and it made her shudder.

He stood in front of her. Unmoving. Just letting her discover him at her own pace and while she loved him for that, she wanted him to touch her too. Before reaching for his dark jeans, Liz bit her lower lip.

"It's okay babe. We don't-." But Liz shook her head cutting him off.

"No. I want to but..." She didn't know if she could voice it but the blank look on his face told her that she had to.

"But what?" He asked as he gently caressed the side of her face with one hand while the other held onto her neck.

"I want...I want you to..." Liz gave herself a mental shake. "I want you to touch me too."

Dean smiled. "Don't worry babe. I will. I was just letting you take your time since I know this is your first time."

A small smile slipped onto her lips as she mouthed; "Oh."

Then she continued. Her hands reached for the button on his jeans and with a quick pop, they were open. Without a word, Dean used his boot clad foot to toe off his dark brown working boots before unzipping his jeans, pushing them down and stepping out of them. He stood in front of her bare of everything but his black boxer briefs.

Smiling, Dean pulled Liz to her bed and sat down on the edge pulling her so that she straddled him. He kissed her once. Twice. And then a third time before looking into her eyes.

"If at anytime you change your mind and don't wanna do this anymore, just say so. Okay?" Liz smiled down at him before brushing her lips over his in a light kiss. "Don't change the subject." He joked before slamming his lips into her own and fusing their lips together.

His tongue sought out hers hungrily and Liz happily gave into him. She melted into him, accepting the warm, moist heat of his mouth as he pressed his barely covered erection into the junction between her legs. Her lips ripped from his own, letting out a low moan allowing Dean's lips to attached themselves onto her neck.

Though they had made out heavily before, everything was different now. The way his left hand gripped onto the back of her neck to keep her from moving too much. The arm wrapped tightly around her waist. He was hot to the touch and so was she. Her right arm was hooked around his shoulders keeping her ever so close to him while the other ran down his chest, leaving long ugly red nail marks no doubt.

Slowly Dean moved down her neck and kissed along the towel top. He was giving her an out and while she loved him for it, she didn't need it.

Moving on pure instinct, Liz grounded her hips into Dean's straining erection seeking out friction. And boy did she get it.

Cool air suddenly hit her breasts and she shuddered only to gasp when she felt Dean's warm mouth close onto one of her nipples. He sucked and nipped at the sensitive bud, rolling his tongue over it until it stood at attention. Then he repeated the process on the other one.

"Oh my God Dean."

"I'm just getting started baby." He easily stood up with Liz still in his arms, turned and laid her down on the bed.
His lips fused with hers once more and Liz was drugged with more passion than she ever thought possible. Dean broke the kiss way faster than she wanted but continued his trail down her chest and over her belly. Only once did he stop and that was to dip his tongue into her belly button. That simple touch had her shaking with anticipation. Then he moved lower and lower until he was between her legs. He slowly breathed her in before feasting on her most intimate place.

His tongue did wonders moving up and down, in and out driving her closer to the brink. His hand was on her thigh, holding her close as he slowly stuck a finger inside of her. Liz's tiny hands gripped onto her bed sheets and she cried out at the overwhelming onslaught of sensations.

His finger was soon joined by another as Dean continued to feast on her mound. The feeling was incredible and so was his tongue. Her moans and cries filled the silence in the room as he started pumping his fingers faster. The same burn that had started in her core that night in the back seat of the impala was back but it was rising faster and faster. The climax that over took her was so powerful it left Liz's entire body pulsating.

"Oh wow." Liz managed to say as Dean slowly kissed his way back up her body.

But he didn't speak. Instead he kissed her slowly, relaxing her for what was about to come. When he broke away, Liz watched as he reached for his jeans. He quickly pulled something out and she watched as he ripped open a condom wrapper and slid the condom onto his throbbing thickness.

She bit back a moan as Dean settled himself back onto her. He pressed his lips into her own, moving them slowly, just tasting her. Relaxing her. Then his left hand ran along her body, barely touching her as it made its way down to the junction between her legs. There his fingers teased her opening again, making her jump as the burn returned. Then his hand was gone and was replaced by his penis.

He slowly moved his throbbing member closer to her wet mound. Then he moved it a little in, a little out, then up and down against her opening. And then he repeated the process. A little more in. A little out. Up and down against her opening. A little bit more in. A little out. Up and down against her opening. He continued this until he reached Liz's barrier. He gave her one last pause, her last chance to back out but Liz just fused her lips with his own.

In one swift stroke, he broke through and instead of the blinding pain she was expecting, it was a slight pinch. His being inside of her, stretching her, was what bothered her but she soon adjusted to his size and thickness. Now she waited for him to start moving.

Taking his time, Dean set a steady pace letting Liz get use to him and his movements. She could tell he was struggling to hold back for her and while she loved him for that, she wanted more. So she hooked her legs behind his back and pulled him so much deeper. That simple action had Dean moving faster and faster, the same blinding heat taking over her. Soon she couldn't hear or feel anything but their heartbeats.

When the heat finally exploded, Liz embraced it to the fullest and felt him tighten above her. Her head hit the soft pillow behind her head as Dean tried not to drop his total weight on top of her. But she happily welcomed it, loving the feel of his hot, sticky skin against her own.

"I love you Liz." Dean mumbled as he kissed her temple. Then he pulled himself out of her, took off the condom and tied it off before tossing it into the trash. Quietly, he returned to her bed and wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close.

"I love you too Dean."

Chapter 13

Liz walked into school with a smile on her face and love in her heart. Serena and Sam waited for her by her locker and when they saw her, they both knew that something was up.

"Please tell me you didn't?" Sam asked as Liz opened her locker.

"I have no clue what you mean." She told him as she put her books away.

"Oh God. You did." Sam grimace. "Ewe. I suddenly need to wash myself." He turned and walked away from the pair.

"Okay. What was that about and why am I not the first to know?" Serena asked putting her hands on her jean clad hips.

Liz shrugged her shoulders. "Seriously. I have no clue what he's talking about." Then she closed her locker with a smile on her face. "Are we still on for tonight?"

"Of course." The pair started walking towards their first class. English. "Oh before I forget to tell you. My mom wanted to tell me and Eric that my dad contacted her a few days ago."

"Oh?" Liz felt her smile falter a little. It was no secret that Serena's dad had abandoned them once he realized her mom, Lily, had no intention of returning to New York to get her inheritance back. "What did he want?"

Serena shrugged her shoulders. "He wants to come and see us. Something about wanting to make amends with us." Liz stopped and pulled her to the side.

"Are you gonna do it? Are you gonna go see him?" Liz asked curious.

"Nah. He had 15 years to make amends. Eric and I don't need nor do we want him in our lives." Serena linked her arm with Liz's and lead them into class. "See. Nothing to worry about. I'm here to stay. So turn that frown upside down and why don't you tell me why you're so happy?"

Liz smirked as they took their seats. "Tonight. I promise."

"You better." Just then, their teacher walked in and both got ready for class.

***

Sam kept on staring at Liz as they sat in the lunch room waiting for Serena who was running a little late.

"What?" Liz finally asked him, keeping an eye out for Serena. "Why are you staring at me?"

Sam scoffed. "I'm not staring at you." He picked up his sandwich with one hand and let it hover in front of his mouth.

"Whatever." Liz picked up a carrot, dipped it in ranch sauce and ate it.

"Okay stop. I know you slept with Dean." Liz choked on her carrot as Sam threw his sandwich down.

"What? How?"

"Come on Liz. He's my brother and you're my best friend. I know the both of you."

"Awe."

"Shut up." He said as he rolled his eyes. "I can't believe you slept with him."

"I love him, Sam." She said as she pushed a strand of hair behind her ear. "I'm IN love with him and I just wanted to show him how much." She had let her hair air dry after...well after Dean left.

"Are you sure? I mean, you didn't sleep with him because of the whole "Cassie" thing did you?"

"No. In fact, I should have waited to sleep with him because of the whole Cassie incident but...I don't know." Liz shrugged her shoulders as she bit into another carrot. "I guess I was just ready."

"Ready for what?" Serena asked as she placed a brown bag on the round lunch table before sitting down next to Liz.

"Hey S. Um, ready to...you know...give Dean that special gift for his birthday."

"You were a virgin?!" Sam yelled and almost everyone turned to look at them.

"Sam!" Liz snapped hitting him on the arm while Serena silently chuckled. "You wanna keep that between the 3 of us?"

"Sorry but I was under the impression that you had slept with that Kyle guy before you left Roswell?"

"No. I would never." Liz whispered angrily at him.

"Okay. Wait." Serena said as she put up her hands. "You let Dean pop your cherry?"

Liz covered her face with her hands while Sam wrapped his sandwich up. "Okay. I'm done."

Serena laughed. "Oh my God. Give me all the details. When? Where? How was it? Was he good? Did you come?"

"And that is my cue to leave." Sam said getting up but Liz pulled him back down by his arm.

"Sit down." She turned to Serena. "I'll tell you everything tonight but only after you tell me about." She indicated with a slight nod of her head at Sam.

"Oh. So now we're keeping secrets from each other? Nice Liz. Real nice." Sam joked and Liz threw a carrot at him.

"Shut up. Like you tell us everything you do once you leave us."

"And there is a reason for that." He said as he finished his Gatorade.

"Like what?" Serena asked before biting into the apple she pulled from her bag.

"Guys don't gossip." Both Liz and Serena scoffed.

"Yeah right!"

"What? We don't."

Liz rolled her eyes while Serena shook her head. "You guys gossip about your conquests."

"No. We merely..." Both girls waited for his explanation. "You know what? I need more guy friends."

Both girls burst out laughing.

Liz parked in front of her house and got out of her car. Her car. She loved saying that. She had picked up her cherry red Volkswagen beetle a few weeks back but since Serena and Dean had been acting as her own personal drivers, she just left it in her drive way. But then that thing with Hudson happened and Liz wasn't waiting for anyone anymore. Plus it was the end of January, so it was always snowing and waiting in the cold was not cool.

She quickly ran up the brick walk way to the wrap around porch, snow covered grass all around her. When she reached the ridiculous yellow door, she unlocked it and went inside. Winter was nice but she couldn't wait for the summertime. Maybe then she'd be able to know why her parents had a blue house with yellow shutters and a yellow door.

"Lizzie is that you?"

"Yes mom but I'm only here for my over night bag." Liz said as she walked through the livingroom and towards the small hallway where the staircase was. "I'm staying over at Serena's for ice cream and movie night."

"Honey wait. We have company." Liz stopped at the kitchen entryway just before the stairs. There sitting in the kitchen with her mom was a very beautiful blond. A blond Liz hadn't seen before. "Mary Winchester just came by to see how you were doing."

For the last 2 months, Liz had heard her but she hadn't seen Mary Winchester. Not until now and wow was she beautiful. She had long blond hair that sat in a side ponytail and was wearing a simple white blouse with blue jeans. There were green butterflies on her blouse and they seemed to make her green eyes stand out. The same green eyes both her boys had.

"Yeah. I heard you weren't feeling very well from Sam and then later Dean who said he heard you throw up yesterday at work." Liz bit back an eye roll. Of course he'd tell her that part.

"Oh my. I didn't know about you throwing up at work." Her mom told her. "I should take you to the doctor."

"No. It's okay ma. The bug is gone. I'm sure it's already worked its way through me." Liz said as she took a step into the kitchen.

"Fine but next time, you're going straight to the doctor." Liz nodded her head.

"Okay ma but I'm much better now." Liz tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, her bangs swaying above her eyes. "Thank you for coming. I know you must have a busy schedule."

"Oh no. It's nothing." Mary smiled at Liz and she was shocked at how similar her smile was to Dean's. "I just wanted to make sure you were okay. Both of my sons are so very fond of you. Obviously for different reasons but still." She stood up and walked over to Liz. "I'm glad you're okay Liz." She pulled Liz into a hug and Liz suddenly felt like Mary knew more than what she was letting on. "Okay then." She pulled away from Liz and turned to her mother. "Nancy, thank you so much for waiting with me."

"It was no problem for me. It's nice to have company over." Liz's mom said as she stood up. "Let me lead you out, Mary."

As Liz's mom walked ahead, Mary cupped Liz's face. "I always knew that one of my boys would open their eyes and see what a wonderful young lady you are. I'm so happy it was Dean and that you're not holding his past...exploits against him."

"His past is what makes him him and I'm in love with all of Dean, not just part of him." Liz told her truthfully.

"That's all a mother can ask for. Thank you." She pulled Liz into another hug before walking away.

Chapter 14

The drive to Serena's was spent in silence. Not even the radio played.

After Mary had left, Liz had quickly ran to her room and packed her bag. Pajamas, clothes for tomorrow and her tooth brush was all she packed. Serena had a shit load of makeup and whatever else she needed but that wasn't why Liz drove in silence. Her conversation with Mary was the reason. It kept on running through her head.

It was obvious that either Sam or Dean had told her about Cassie but why? Why would they tell their mom everything that happened? Was it Dean going to her for advise or was it Sam because he just couldn't keep his mouth shut? Liz smiled. Though Dean was her carbon copy, it was Sam who was close to Mary. He told her everything. So it was probably him who told her everything that happened.

Liz felt herself relax as she pulled into a nice housing complex. Serena's housing complex. She loved coming to Serena's house. Her mom was something else.

Lily Rhodes had given up everything. The money. The lifestyle. The people and she couldn't be happier. She was living for herself and it was kind of inspirational. But because she had given up her inheritance, her entire family had turned their backs on her. Even Serena's p had said Lily was being down right disrespectful and that her choices were inexcusable. But she had been a 19 year old girl who just wanted to live her life herself.

She didn't want to wear ball gowns or go to lavish social parties. Lily wanted to travel the world. She wanted to see different cultures and meet new people. She wanted to do what she wanted, when she wanted and she did. Lily has been almost everywhere and has seen almost everything. France. Italy. Germany. England. You name it, she's probably been there and she has a ton of pictures and stories to back it up.

Liz admired Lily for going out and being her own person. It was something Liz had wanted back in her own reality before and after the aliens and it was something she still wanted now. Maybe one day she'll be able to travel like Lily did.

Liz parked her car in front of a 3 story complex that was surrounded by other 3 story complexes and turned it off. She quickly grabbed her over night bag and her keys and got out of the car.

Though they had no help from their family, Lily, Serena and Eric were happy. Lily was a free lance photographer which paid the bills of their 3 bedroom/3 bath apartment and anything else they needed. Serena only worked as a part time waitress at this little dinner in town because she wanted to buy her own things and Eric. Well Eric was the baby so his mom and sister gave him whatever he needed.

"Finally!" Serena yelled happily as she opened the door for Liz. "Mom. Liz is here." She yelled over her shoulder. "Well come in. It's freezing out there."

Liz laughed as Serena pulled her in. "Really S? Does everyone need to know I'm here?" She took off her jacket and dropped it onto her overnight bag.

Serena shrugged her shoulders as they walked into the kitchen. "She told me to."

"Lizzie!" Liz turned and smiled.

"Lily!" Serena's mom pulled Liz into a hug.

"Finally. I thought you were never gonna come." Liz pulled back.

"Sorry Mary Winchester was at my house when I got home."

"What?" Serena exclaimed before she nibbled on the cookie she just pulled out of their cow cookie jar.

"Yeah. I know."

"Wait. Who's Mary Winchester?" Lily asked as she took a step back and folded her arms over her chest.

"That's Sam and Dean's mom, mom." Serena told her.

"Oh. Wow. I'd love to stay and hear why she was at your house but I have a shitload of work that needs to be done." She walked out of the kitchen and into the small entrance way where the closet was. She opened the closet door and reached for her jacket. That's when Liz noticed her outfit. Lily was wearing her favorite pair of faded blue jeans and her oldest Van Halen tee shirt. "You girls be good. I'll be home tomorrow like usual."

"Okay mom." Serena gave her mom a kiss on the cheek before opening the door for her.

"Bye Lily."

"Bye Liz." As soon as she left, Serena smiled as she closed the door.

"We have no junk food here so...store?"

Liz nodded her head as she smiled. "Sure." She grabbed her jacket and as she was putting it on, she noticed something. "Where's Eric?"

"He's staying at a friend's house. I didn't want him hearing all the gory details." She already had her coat on and was leading Liz back out into the cold. "So my car or yours?"

"Mine. I miss driving." Liz said as she walked the short distance to her car. She was so thankful that Serena's apartment was on the first floor because she knew S was going to go crazy with their junk food.

***

"So Mary was at your house huh?" Serena asked as they walked into the supermarket.

"Yeah. It was weird to see her sitting in the kitchen with my mom now that Dean and I are together." Liz said as she pushed the cart Serena had insisted she get.

"I would be more worried about what she said to your mom. I mean you have slept over her house a few times when your parents thought you were with me." Serena told her as she started throwing chips into the cart.

"Crap." Liz bit her lower lip as she leaned against the cart. She hadn't even thought of that. Mary could have told her mom about her little sleepovers. But if that was true, her mom would have never let her leave the house tonight.

"Then again, knowing your mom, she wouldn't have let you leave the house tonight if she knew." Serena said as she started adding candy and gummy whatever to the cart. "Or any other night for that matter." She turned to Liz. "So what did you and your future mother-in-law talk about?"

The pair walked into the freezer isle and went straight for the ice cream. "She thanked me."

"Really?" Serena showed Liz the cookies and cream before grabbing the vanilla. "For what?"

"Both and for the whole Cassie thing." That stopped her best friend.

"What? Who told her?"

Liz shrugged her shoulders. "I don't know."

"Did you ask Dean?" Liz shook her head. "Why not?"

"He's, um, kind of got other plans." Liz said as she led the way to the registers.

"Like what?" Serena asked as she started to put their things on the belt. Liz just shrugged her shoulders. "Do you want me to call Sam?"

"If you want." Serena bit back a comment and walked away. Liz nibbled on her lower lip. She knew she was being kind of a bitch but Dean was meeting with Cassie tonight and she had completely forgotten until now.

He had promised her as he was leaving her house this morning that he would meet with Cassie at her father's bar. Just in case the bitch tried something, then Lexie would be there to stop her. Hell, even Jasmine would be there watching them but that didn't make her feel any better. She should have gone with him.

"So it wasn't Sam." Serena said as she handed her half of the money to the cashier.

"Really? I actually thought he was the one who told her." Liz handed the other half to the cashier.

"Nope." Serena pulled the cart from the small check out line and pushed it outside. "But he did tell me something very interesting."

"What?" Liz asked as she followed behind Serena.

"Dean is meeting up Cassie tonight." Liz stopped just before her car. "No wonder you're acting like such a bitch. Why didn't you tell me?"

"I just wanted to forget about it."

"But you couldn't?"

"Nope." Liz opened the trunk of her bug and started putting the bags in.

"You know where he's meeting her, don't you?" Serena questioned, as she stood next to Liz with her hands on her hips. Slowly, Liz nodded her head. "Where?"

"The bar."

Chapter 15

Dean walked into Parker's bar and took a quick look around. Lexie was no where to be found but Jas was behind the bar as usual. She winked at him before pointing with her head to Cassie.

Cassie. She had been this spitfire college student he had met while he and his dad went to help a friend set up his garage in Ohio. She had seemed nice enough and offered to show Dean around town. They didn't really see eye to eye but she was a wild cat in the sack. So when his week was up, he had given her his number.

Dean had liked her. She was smart and had a wicked tongue but there was just something...missing. Spark. That's what his mom called it. There was no spark but Dean figured it would come. Spark wasn't everything. Then a few days after he came home, Liz was standing in his doorway and was asking him how his trip was.

If he hadn't believed in spark before, he sure did after that night. He still remembered everything from that night. Every word that was said, how Liz had looked, how she had smelled. Everything.

***

"Hey Dean." Dean looked up to see Sammy's friend, Liz standing in his doorway. "How was your trip?"

"It was...okay." Dean took his time looking her over. Normally she'd just be wearing jeans and a top but tonight she was wearing one of Sammy's shirts. "What's with the shirt? You naked under there?"

A light blush tinted her cheeks. "No." She pulled up the hem and showed him a pair of tiny shorts. "Serena kind of jumped when we were watching a scary movie and spilled soda on my clothes." Then she shrugged her shoulders as she dropped the bottom of the shirt. "I'm borrowing Sam's shirt and wearing my shorts from gym class while your mom washes my clothes for me." Then she folded her arms over her chest. "Is your mind always in the gutter?"

Dean smirked as he stood up from his bed, towel in hand. He was in nothing but his boxer briefs. "Not always but seeing a beautiful girl in nothing but a shirt has my mind slipping there." The blush spread and Dean couldn't help but think she looked unbelievably gorgeous.

"Thank you." She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. "I think there was a compliment in there somewhere." Then she moved back as he moved closer to her. "I'll just-."

Talk about sparks. As soon as his lips touched Liz's, all Dean saw were fireworks. He didn't know why he kissed her but he was really glad he did. Liz's lips were soft, like the cotton of his favorite shirt and the skin on her arms was just as soft but also warm to the touch.

Warm hands rested on the sides of his shoulders as she used them to steady herself on the tips of her toes. She was tiny, perfect for fitting next to him and with a slightly amused smirk, he pulled away from the kiss.

"You talk to much." He told her.

"So do you." Then she was kissing him again and Dean had just enough of a mind to close the door behind her and lead her to his bed.

***

That was possibly the best day of his life. One kiss had blown his mind and he had been hooked; completely forgetting about Cassie in the process.

Dean slowly walked over to the table and took a seat. "Hey Cassie."

"Hey Dean. I'm so glad you finally called me back. I was starting to think-." Dean put his hand up to stop her.

"Let me go first." He ran a hand through his hair. "Okay. First, I want to apologize for being such an asshole and not calling you back when you first called me. I'm sorry but you shouldn't have come here."

"What? Why not?" Cassie snapped, her hands hitting the table in a loud slap.

"Look. The week we spent together was fun and that night we had was...it was great." Cassie's whole demeaner softened.

"I know it was and that's why-." Again Dean stopped her.

"But you can't come to my town and go around telling people we slept together."

"People or those two little girls in the mall?" She snapped again and Dean had to close his eyes. Then he counted back from ten.

He wasn't going to blow up. He wasn't. Sammy had told him once that he wasn't a very patient person and while that was okay in normal situations, it wasn't in this one. He had to get through this without flipping out. If not for himself, for Liz.

Liz. How the hell did he get so fucking lucky? Sure he's had his share of women but Liz; she was different. She was smart, funny, beautiful, got along with his family and whenever they kissed, he still saw fireworks. It really got to him sometimes. She was freaking amazing and she didn't even know it.

"As a matter of fact, yeah." Dean said as he opened his eyes. "One of those "little girls" as you say, is my girlfriend and I don't appreciate you lying to her."

"I didn't lie to her. We did sleep together, Dean."

"Yeah but not a few weeks ago Cassie. We slept together 2 months ago."

"Details." Cassie said as she rolled her eyes and folded her arms over her chest.

"Yeah well those "details" almost cost me my girl." Dean snapped, his hand hitting the table before he could stop himself.

"Everything okay here?" Lexie stood in front of the small table with her hands on her hips. Dean knew she was there to make sure Cassie didn't try anything but the look in her eyes told him that she was also there to help him stay calm.

"I'm sorry but did we call for a waitress? No. We didn't. So why don't you just leave us alone?" Cassie snapped and Dean had to jump up to catch Lexie.

"Thanks Lex but I got this." He told her as he gently pushed her towards her mom who was standing on the other side of the bar. Lexie let out a string of curses that had some of the bar patrons laughing as her mom grabbed her by the arm.

"Another girlfriend of yours?" Cassie questioned as she gave Lexie a dirty look that had Jasmine pulling her into the back room so she wouldn't go after Cassie.

"Actually that's my girl's cousin." Cassie took a quick look at the door Lexie had just went through and shook her head. "What?"

"I thought it was the blond with the flakey personality you were fucking but it's the quiet brunette with the big doe eyes." Dean gave her a confused look. "Am I right?"

"Yeah." Dean sat back down. "Look." He folded his hands on front of him as he liked his lips. "I just came here to say I'm sorry for being an asshole and not returning your calls but I have a girlfriend and you need to leave me alone. Stop calling me. Stop e-mailing me. Just stop because I'm very happy with my girlfriend." He stood up and turned to walk away when suddenly Cassie was in front of him.

"I'm staying at the local inn." She said as she slid her extra motel key into the front pocket of his coat. "Just in case you change your mind."

"I don't want it." He pulled the key out and tried to give it back to her but Cassie wouldn't take it.

"Come on Dean. If it was the blond you were fucking I would have left a long time ago but it's not. It's the goody good brunette and I know girls like her. She'll never put out and even if she does, she'll never satisfy you. Not like I can." A small smile slipped onto her face. "She's nothing like me." Then she took a step into his personal space making him take the same step back.

"You know what Cassie. You're right." Cassie smiled and tried to wrap her arms around his neck but he grabbed her arms and held them in front of him. "She's nothing like you but that's what I love about her." He dropped her hands and then the key onto the closest table. "Here. I don't want nor do I need this." He went around her and walked to the front door only to stop and look at her. "Oh and she satisfies me much better than you ever could." Then he walked out of the bar and into the cold January air.

***

Sam waited in his room for Dean. Though Serena had asked him to check how everything had went with Cassie, he was waiting to do that anyways. He didn't want to think so little of his big brother but he was a little worried that Dean would cheat on Liz.

He knew he sounded like an asshole but that was Dean's M.O. He never stayed with one girl for very long. As a matter of fact, Liz has been his longest relationship and Sam was a little worried. He didn't want his brother ruining the best thing that ever happen to him.

Dean was happier with Liz. He smiled more. He was more relaxed and he stopped putting himself down. Hell, he was just better to be around. Sam was actually proud to tell people he looked up to the big lug and that was all because of Liz's influence.

"Penny for your thoughts." Sam looked up and saw his mom leaning in his doorway with her arms crossed over her chest.

"Just a penny?" Sam joked.

"Sam."

"I'm just worried about Dean." He told her truthfully. "That's all ma."

"What? Why? What happened?" His mom asked, her arms dropping down to her sides as she stood up straight.

"Nothing. I just..." Sam ran his hand over his face. "I know you know about Cassie."

"I do."

"Then you know she told Liz about her and Dean but lied about when they slept together."

"Again, I do but what does this have to do with your brother?"

"He's going to see Cassie tonight to tell her to leave him alone."

"Oh." It was all Mary Winchester said. It was all she could say.

"Yeah." Sam closed his eyes. "Mom. Liz is my best friend and I know for a fact that Dean is her one and only." Sam ran his hand over his face. "And I'm just worried-."

"You're just worried Dean may cheat on her with this Cassie girl?" Sam nodded his head and his mom walked over and sat next to him on his bed. "Don't get me wrong. I love Dean. He's my first born and no one can take his place in my heart but now I'm kind of worried too. I know I shouldn't be because he looks at Liz the same way your father looks at me but I'm afraid that's going to scare him. I'm afraid his feelings for Liz will scare him into doing something stupid." She shook her head. "What kind of a mother does that make me? I don't even trust my own son not to cheat on his girlfriend."

"That makes you a great mother who knows her sons." Both looked up and saw Dean standing in Sam's doorway the same way their mom had just been. "Or at least, how I use to be."

"How long have you been standing there?" Mary asked.

"Not that long." He told her as he straightened himself.

"So...how'd it go?" Sam asked, not liking the silence.

"Exactly how I knew it would go. She got defensive. She fu-I mean she messed with Lexie and almost got her ass kicked. Then when I tried to leave, she gave me her motel key."

"The little tramp." Mary mumbled to herself but both Sam and Dean heard her.

"Mom!" Sam bumped his shoulder with her own while Dean just laughed.

"What? She is."

Dean shook his head. "There was one thing that caught me off guard though."

"What?" Sam asked as wrapped his arm around his mother's shoulder.

"Cassie thought I was dating Serena. Not Liz."

"What? Why would she think that?"

Dean shrugged his shoulders. "I don't know. I guess it's because Liz isn't really my type."

"That's ridiculous." Mary said as she rolled her eyes. "She's a beautiful and intelligent young woman with a great head on her shoulders. Who wouldn't want Elizabeth Parker?"

"Mom's right." Sam agreed. "If it's got breasts and ass, it's your type." Both Mary and Dean shook their heads.

"Sam." She said with a sigh as Dean said; "Bitch."

"Jerk."

"That's my cue to leave." Mary gave Sam a kiss on the cheek. "Be nice." Then she got up and did the same to Dean. "I'm so proud of you baby. You'll make an excellent husband one day." Then she smiled as she gave them both one last wave. "I love you boys. Good night."

"Love you too ma." Then he tackled Sam off his bed.

"Umph."

Mary just shook her head as she went to her room. "My boys." She said with a smile.

Chapter 16

Liz and Serena sat in Serena's living room just laying around, watching re-runs. Neither had heard from Sam or Dean and both were a little worried.

"I'm sure one or both of them are going to call." Serena said as she managed to put a spoonful of ice cream into her mouth. She was laying upside down on the couch with her legs on the wall while her head hung off the bottom of the couch.

"Ewe and I hope so." Liz said with a small smile. She was sitting on the floor with her back against the couch, Serena's head hanging right next to her.

"Don't knock it until you try it." Serena told her before eating another spoonful of ice cream. "So how was your first time?" She asked with a huge smile.

Again Liz smiled a small smile. "It was good but you're suppose to go first remember?" She got up and sat next to Serena as her best friend sat up right.

"Okay but remember. You asked."

"Tell me. Tell me. Tell me."

"Okay. So right after we leave Joe's..."

***

(Sunday night)

"I can't believe that bitch lied to me and Liz." Serena snapped as she walked with Sam back to her car. "I mean why the fuck would she lie to us? She doesn't even know us."

"She probably knew one of you were dating him but didn't know which one." Sam said as he opened the door to her car.

"Doubtful. I mean we..." Serena suddenly felt like slapping herself as she dropped into the passenger seat. "Damn me and my big mouth."

"What?"

"When she asked us about Dean, I was kind of a bitch to her." Sam gave her a look. "What? She was ease dropping on mine and Liz's conversation. Then had the nerve to ask if we knew Dean and if he was seeing someone."

"So what happened?" Sam was driving them to his house. They both knew that Dean had Liz because Mr. Parker had told them as much so instead of going back to the bar, he was going home.

"Nothing. I just told her that if it was me and someone I liked wasn't calling me back then I would be on to the next guy." Sam's hand tightened on the steering wheel.

"Are you interested in anyone?"

Serena looked at him. Should she tell him she liked him or should she just keep her mouth shut?

"Yeah I like someone but I don't think he knows I even exist." Sam nodded his head. "But whatever. There are more fish in the sea and all that crap. I'm just gonna worry about myself and maybe when I feel like it, I'll hook up with somebody." She turned her head to look out the window, completely missing Sam grinding his teeth.

"Do I know him? Maybe I can help you? Maybe I can talk to him?"

"That's nice and all but no. I'd rather you not."

"Come on." Sam wanted to drop it because he didn't want Serena dating anyone but him but he had to know who she liked. He had to know who he was up against. "Who is it?"

"No Sam. Just drop it."

"I bet Liz knows." He pulled out his phone. "I'm just gonna give her a call."

"No." Serena launched herself at him, trying to get his phone and successfully grabbing it but not before making him swerve the car. "Stop."

"Whoa. S. What the hell?" Sam laughed as he watched her hold his phone to her chest. "Who is this mystery guy I'm not suppose to know about?"

She sat quietly, thinking it over. It wouldn't hurt to tell him. She was going to go after someone else. So he could know, right? Right. "Fine." She finally said as he pulled up in front of his house. "I like...I like you Sam."

"What?" They were both glad she told him after he parked because he hit the break, jerking them a little.

"I like you...but I know you don't like me like that so I'm just gonna forget about you and maybe try and find someone else. I mean..." Serena rambled on and suddenly the pieces fell together for Sam.

He had always wondered why she acted silly whenever they were alone. Or why she laughed at all his jokes. He knew she liked someone, he just didn't know that someone was him. And here she thought he didn't like her back.

"Serena!" She stopped talking and looked at him. "I like you too."

"Really?"

"Really." Then he leaned into her personal space and pressed his lips into hers.

***

"The kiss was short but wow." Serena said and Liz felt like rolling her eyes.

"That's sweet but not illegal. You had me thinking you guys-."

"Had sex in the back seat of my tiny car?" Liz nodded her head. "Well, we were making out pretty heavily in the backseat but his dad knocked on the foggy window to say hi to me and to tell Sam dinner was ready." Serena told her.

"Oh. My. God." Liz squealed. "Mr. Winchester stopped you guys?!"

"Hey. It's better than Mrs. Winchester thank you very much." Serena smiled.

"I know but awe. He told you he liked you." Liz pulled Serena into a hug. "I'm so happy for you." Then they heard someone knocking on the front door.

Serena laughed as she got up to get it. "I'm happy for me too. Plus, I finally got to hook up with the guy I really like." Liz had stayed behind and to finish her ice cream. It was probably just one of her neighbors. "Um, Liz." Liz sat up a bit straighter. "We have company."

"Who is it Serena?" Liz asked as she put her empty ice cream bowl onto the coffee table in front of her. Then she sat back again. "Who's at the door?"

"Honey. I'm home." Dean walked into the livingroom with Sam and Serena behind him. "Nice hair babe." Liz bit her lower lip as her hand flew to her head. Serena had put her hair into small rollers to curl the ends while she put two braided plaids in Serena's hair to create a crown. "But I love the outfit." And Liz suddenly wanted to hurt her best friend.

She was sitting on the couch in the tiny red tank and black boyshorts she usually wore to sleep. She had no blanket on because the heat was on and they normally didn't need one.

"Hey Sam. Hey Dean." Liz greeted as she pulled the closest pillow onto her lap. "What are you guys doing here?"

"Dean wanted to see you." Sam told her.

"And Sam had to talk to Serena so it's us killing two birds with one stone." Dean smiled as he walked over and sat down next to her. "It's not a problem that we're here? Is it?"

"Of course not." Liz wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him softly. "Hi Dean."

He groaned against her lips before giving her a second kiss. "Hey babe."

"Okay. Well Sam and I are going to leave you two love birds alone." Serena pulled Sam towards the back of the apartment where her room was.

"Finally alone." Dean whispered as he ran his hand up Liz's arm and let it rest on her neck. Then he pulled her into another short but sweet kiss. "I missed you today."

Liz smiled against his lips as her arms loosened around his neck. "And I missed you." She kissed him on his nose. "But we have some talking to do first."

"We do?" He asked. His forehead was leaning against hers.

"Yes we do." She kissed him one last time then pulled away from him. "So how did it go with...her?"

"Her?" Dean chuckled. "I see we're not saying her name but whatever. That's cool and it went...well it went." Liz looked at him confused.

"I don't understand."

"She didn't take my rejection well and when she found out it was you I was dating and not Serena, she seem to get even angrier. She even went so far as saying you could never satisfy me because you're a good girl."

"Is that true?" Liz asked him.

"Of course not." Dean told her truthfully. "Liz, what you do for me, to me...there are no words, babe. I think it's because I'm so in love with you that everything is so much better."

"Really?"

Dean smiled as he rubbed his nose against her own. "Really." Then he pulled her on top of him so that she was straddling him. "Did I ever tell you that I love you on top?"

Liz smiled. "I believe you did."

"Thank God for small miracles." Dean's lips latched onto Liz's neck, teasing her.

"Both Sam and Serena know about this morning." Liz managed to say. She knew now wasn't the best time to be talking but she wanted him to know. Not only about that but about his mom as well. "I only told Serena though. Sam already knew."

"I figured you'd tell Serena, and Sam." Dean bit the small piece of skin where Liz's neck and shoulder met and Liz groaned. "Well Sammy is just too damn smart for his own good." His hand held onto the back of her neck, mindful of her rollers. "Anything else I need to know before I take you right here, right now?" Dean licked Liz's throat before he bit her chin, his other hand sliding down her body to cup her ass.

"Just that your mom came to see me today."

"What?" Dean stared into Liz's eyes, making her go still above him.

"When I went home to get my overnight bag, your mom was there. Waiting for me."

"What did she want?"

Liz smiled as she kissed the side of Dean's face. "Apparently, someone told her I was sick." She licked the shell of his ear before kissing it and she had the pleasure of him shuddering under her. "She just wanted to make sure I was okay."

"That's it?" Dean bit her shoulder, then pulled her closer to him. Liz's hips were moving in small circles and she was making it very hard for him to think about anything but her. "She just wanted to...make sure you were...okay?" He questioned between kisses.

"Well not only that." Liz sat back as she let Dean pull her shirt from her body. "Ssshhhee wanted to thhhhhaaannnk me." Dean's mouth was doing wicked things to her breasts and now she was the one who could barely think.

"For what?" Dean moved from one breast to the other, giving both of them equal love.

"The whole Cassie thing." That caught his attention and Dean let go of Liz's left breast with a pop.

"She," He used the hand that had been holding her breast to cough into. "She thanked you for that?" Liz nodded quietly. "Why?"

Liz sat up straight and covered her chest with her arms. "Because I don't hold your past against you. Because I'm in love with you completely and without fault." Dean looked down. "What? What happened Dean?"

When he looked back up at her, he had a silly smile on his face. "How the hell did I get so lucky?"

"What?" Liz asked him confused. "What do you mean?"

"You babe." Dean said as he pushed her bangs and loose hair away from her face. "How did I get so lucky landing a chick like you?"

"Oh. Well," Liz wrapped her arms around his neck. "I can tell you it's because you're easy on the eyes or because you are every girl's wet dream come to life and while both are true, the real reason you got me was because you kissed me that night 2 months ago in your room."

"You remember that?"

Liz smiled. "You talk to much." She said imitating his voice or at least she tried to.

"So do you." He said before fusing their lips together.

The kiss was rough; all teeth and tongue but it was perfect for them. When air became a must, Liz pulled away. Then she quickly pushed Dean's black jacket off of his shoulders and pulled off his gray hoodie. The smirk that graced his lips had her burning from the inside out and all she wanted was him inside her. She has never felt like this. Not with Kyle and definitely, not with Max.

When she got his plain black under shirt off, she kissed him deeply. She sucked on his lower lip and tongue, biting both slightly before hand. She was in love with this man and she wanted to make sure he would always know it.

His boots, his jeans, his socks and last but not least, his boxer briefs were all gone before they were even a thought and so were her boyshorts and underwear. With the condom rolled into place, Liz lowered herself onto him.

"Just like that night in the impala, babe." He whispered into her ear. "Just move like you did that night."

Liz started a steady pace of up and down and back and forth. In between each up and down, she would roll her hips and the look that would show up on Dean's face was encouraging. It had her moving a little faster with each roll.

Dean was holding onto her hips, guiding her but she could see he was trying not to take control. He wanted her to do it herself. When she felt the burn in her veins, she moved faster. Soon Dean's fingers were biting into her hips but she couldn't stop herself. Her climax hit her fast and all Liz saw was white.

Suddenly she was on her back and Dean was above her. He was moving slowly, building her up again. His hips rolling just like hers had been and Liz couldn't help but bite her lip. Dean chuckled softly before kissing her on her lips. When she let her bottom lip go, he kissed her again but a little deeper. Stronger. Then his mouthed moved to her chin and next her neck, biting her but she could barely feel it. His strokes were burning her from the inside out.

"I love you." She didn't know if she said it or if he did.

"I love you too babe." Dean whispered into her ear and Liz realized he was moving faster. The burn had already build in her stomach and she knew she wouldn't be able to hold on any longer.

The climax that hit her was blinding and Liz couldn't stop the scream the slipped pass her lips. Dean soon followed after her but she was sedated. Her eyes drooped as Dean removed himself from her and she could hear him moving around the living room, probably cleaning whatever mess they had accidentally made.

This must be heaven. Liz thought to herself as she felt Dean settle behind her. He had wrapped them in a sheet then pulled her close to him. Yep. This was heaven.

Chapter 17

(6 months after "Wipeout" in the real reality)

Months. It had been months since anyone in Roswell had seen or heard from Liz. Her parents were beside themselves. Alex, Maria and surprisingly Kyle have all grown closer and Max...well Max had gone completely insane with finding her.

The whole town thought she ran away. Rumors of her being pregnant with Kyle's baby or her getting into a fight with her parents about her sleeping around were floating around town but the pod squad knew better. Something happened when she shifted but what?

Isabel and Tess walked up the small walk way that led to Michael's house. Max hadn't been home in 3 days. He had told their parents that he was going on another camping trip to gt his mind off of things but Isabel knew better.

"Have you heard from Max, Michael?" Isabel asked as she led the way into his apartment.

"No Is. I haven't." He pushed his slightly longer hair out of his eyes. "But come right in. It's not like I'm half naked or anything." He snapped sarcastically. He was in fact half baked with only his dark jeans hanging low on his hips. He quickly grabbed his favorite black Metallica shirt and pulled it on.

"Like I haven't seen you shirtless before." Isabel snapped back as she folded her arms over her chest. "And don't lie to me. I know for a fact that Max told you where he was going, so where is my stupid, little brother?"

Michael let out a soft sigh. "He called me right before they left. They're going to L. A. to find the other protector. Apparently he's been living as a movie producer and may know how to find out where Liz really is."

"I can't believe him." Isabel thundered and Tess took a step back.

She was standing quietly by the door but all she wanted to do was scream. Ever since Liz failed to return after Kyle blew up the green rod, no one paid her any mind. It was always Liz this and Liz that. She wasn't even here and she was still getting more attention than Tess was.

She was sick of it. So what if Liz was missing? So what if she never came back? They had more important things to worry about. For instance, Rath and Lonnie were still out there. They hadn't been too happy when Max had flat out refused to go to the summit with them. They had even tried to kill him but her dupe, Ava had saved his life.

Ava. She was out there right now with Max. Helping him look for Liz. Tess shook her head. When she had asked Ava why she was helping Max find someone she didn't even know, she had simply said it was because Max needed protection. And since Michael needed to stay and protect the rest of the group, she was the next best thing. Tess didn't believe her.

Why did she care about them? She didn't even know them. Then Tess pulled on a strand of her growing blond hair. That wasn't exactly true. Before she and Max had disappeared on their little road trip, Ava had been getting closer to the humans. For some reason, they took her in with open arms. They cared about her in a way they never cared about Tess.

Tess shook her head. She didn't care about that. About them. All she cared about was Max, her husband, Isabel, her best friend and Michael, her brother and protector.

"You coming Tess?" Isabel asked as she and Michael walked out the front door.

"Yeah. I am." No. All she cared about was her own.

***

Maria busied herself around the cafè so that she wouldn't think about how Ava and Max were doing. It had been a day since she last heard from Ava and she was starting to worry. She had already lost one of her best friends. She didn't want to lose another.

Maria grabbed onto her heart. She still couldn't believe that Liz was gone nor could she believe she was becoming fast best friends with Ava, Tess' dupe. Liz disappearing was actually more believable than her being friends with Tess' dupe.

Liz had been her best friend. The Thelma to her Louise. The peanut butter to her jelly. She just couldn't be gone. Tess had actually had the nerve to suggest that Liz might be dead. A suggestion that had gotten her bitch slapped. But Ava. Sweet and reassuring Ava had told them that Liz was probably just in another reality. One that was similar to their own but also very different.

"You okay, Ria?" Jose asked from the kitchen.

"Yeah I'm fine." Maria told him as she let go of her chest and walked over to him. "Just thinking about Liz again." She said as she put her order on the order wheel.

"She'll come home, chica. I can feel it in here." He said as he pointed to his heart. "You just have to have faith."

"I have faith Jose. I just..." A lone tear slipped from her green eye. "I miss her is all."

"Don't cry, nena." Jose whispered as he wiped away the tear. "All will be well. God is watching over our Lizzie. I promise you." Maria nodded and smiled.

"I've gotta get back to work." Jose nodded.

***

Max kept his eyes on the road while Ava hummed an unknown song next to him. The radio was off because she had thrown out all his Counting Crows cds on the last trip they had taken and he refused to listen to any of her music. Ever.

Her taste in music was basically a mixer of Michael's and Liz's put together. Heavy metal and chick rock. Max didn't know how anyone could listen to that type of music because he couldn't and he wouldn't. Not in his car.

"So, how was Liz like in your eyes?" Ava suddenly asked making Max swerved a little. "Whoa there buddy. I'd like to get home in one piece." Then she smiled. "Well if you can call Michael's one bedroom apartment home." She laughed. He didn't.

He was too shocked by her first question to laugh at anything right now. How was Liz like in his eyes? What did she mean by that? Did she ask the others that question? Was Liz different to everyone? He hadn't thought so.

"I-." Max started but then he hesitated.

"You know what?" Ava told him. "Forget about it."

"No. No. I, I want to. Um," Max ran his hand through his hair. "Liz was...she was amazing. Smart, beautiful, kind, always willing to help anyone she could no matter the cost to herself." A small smile slipped onto his lips. "She was/is the most special person you'll ever meet."

"Wow." Ava said sarcastically as she rolled her eyes.

"What?"

"Nothing. It's...it's nothing."

"No. I wanna know what's with the sarcastic "wow" and the eye roll." Max told her a bit angrily. "Tell me." Ava jumped at his sudden change in attitude. Maybe she should have just kept her mouth shut? "Come on, Ava."

"It's just...the way everyone else talks about her, she's real. Flaws and all and someone I can't wait to meet. But with you, she this perfect, almost God like person. She sounds kind of fake." Max shook his head.

"You don't know what you're talking about." He said evenly.

"I just-."

"This conversation is over." He snapped and he pushed in one of her cds just to shut her up.

Ava shook her head but kept her mouth shut. Michael had been right. Max was a completely different person when it came to Liz. Next time, she'd just listen to him and keep her mouth shut.

Chapter 18

(Back in the new reality)

Liz moved around the busy bar as only an experienced waitress could. Her shift was almost over and then she and Serena were going to go shopping for Sam's birthday. It was next week and while she already knew what she was going to get him, Serena didn't.

"I don't know how you can be so happy walking around in those heels." Michelle joked as she walked pass Liz.

"Me either." Andreà, the new bartender agreed. It had been 4 months since the whole Hudson fiasco and Jasmine finally managed to convince her dad to hire another bartender. A female bartender.

"They're not really heels." Liz said with a smile as she pulled 3 beers and two mixed drinks onto her tray. "They're wedges and wedges are very comfortable."

Andrea smiled. "I'll have to take your word for it." Then she walked away to help the group of guys who were practically yelling for her attention.

Liz just shook her head and went to drop off her drinks.

Andreá was a sweetheart. She was a little taller than Liz with black hair and the brightest blue eyes Liz had ever seen. She had an hour glass shape and had the personality of an sweetheart. She was an all around good person.

Liz took a quick glance at the bar and saw the group of guys drooling as Andreá began pouring them shots and mixing their drinks. She was a much better pick than Hudson ever was.

***

Instead of coming inside, Serena waited out front only sticking her head in to tell Liz to hurry up. Liz laughed as she waved bye to both Michelle and Andreà before walking out the front door. Jenna was still in the back getting ready but she made sure she said bye to her too.

"Finally." Serena huffed. "How was work?"

Liz smiled. "Busy. Since it's almost May, the college guys are drinking away their worries now that school is almost over." She said as she pulled on the dark blue leather jacket she had bought for herself a few days ago. It wasn't freezing out but there was a spring chill in the air so the small jacket was perfect.

"Nice jacket. I'm loving the leather." Serena told her with a smile. "You ready to go?" Liz nodded as she opened her umbrella. "Good." They started walking towards Liz's car, both huddled under her umbrella. "Thanks again. For some reason, now that I'm his girlfriend, getting a gift for Sam is impossible."

"No problem but um, what happened to your car? I thought you were gonna pick it up today?"

Serena nodded her head slowly. "I was but I had to leave my car in the shop. Apparently, the breaks are shot, the muffler has a hole in it and I may or may not have added oil when I was suppose to add water." Liz chuckled as she opened the doors of her car.

"I can't believe you did that to your car." Then Liz stopped and thought about it. "Actually, I can believe it."

"What? Like I'm suppose to know how to do any of that crap!" They quickly got into Liz's bug to get out of the rain.

"Where was Sam when you were messing up your car?" Liz asked as she started her car and began driving. The mall wasn't that far but the buses took forever and the rain was coming down pretty hard.

Serena laughed. "Sam? Yeah. He knows as much about cars as I do."

Liz shook her head as she pulled up in front of the mall. "Well at least Dean is looking over your car. He'll be able to fix the mess you made."

"Actually, that new guy Ben is looking at it." Serena said as she got out of the car. She quickly pulled her hair into a ponytail before starting towards the mall entrance.

"Wait. What?" Liz finally registered what her best friend had just told her. "Ben is looking at your car?"

Ben Michaels was the new mechanic John was forced to hire when one of his veteran mechanics just up and quit. He was a good mechanic but he hated Dean for no apparent reason. Mechanic envy, John had told her.

"Yeah. He actually offered when he heard that I knew you." Serena was almost at the entrance of the mall so Liz had to run to catch up to her and in heels, even if they were wedged, was still hard.

"Why would he only offer because you know me?" Liz questioned as she caught up with Serena.

"Really, Liz?" Serena questioned as she led the way to Sam's favorite store. Best buy.

"Yes. Really." Liz said as she looked through the many different shelves in the store. "I mean why? Why would he do it?"

"Oh come on Liz. You have to see the way he stares at you. The way his eyes follow you around the shop." Liz stopped short and grabbed onto her best friend's arm. "What?"

"You never came with me to the shop before."

"No. I haven't." Serena let her fingers linger on one of the shelves as she slowly walked away from Liz. She didn't get very far before turning back to her. "But apparently, John has seen it." Then a sly smirk slid onto her face. "And so has Dean."

It took Liz a few seconds to realized what Serena just said. "What exactly did Sam tell you?"

Serena shrugged her shoulders. "What do you see when you go visit the Winchesters at work?"

Liz rolled her eyes but she thought about what Serena had just asked. Every time she went to visit Dean or went to go give John some lunch, she did always feel his eyes on her. It was like everywhere she went, his eyes would be glued to her. Liz suddenly felt very dirty.

"Oh God. You're right." Liz shivered with disgust.

"Yeah. Now imagine how Dean feels when he sees Ben staring at you." Liz's hand flew to her mouth.

"Oh my god. Dean's going to kill him."

Serena chuckled. "I don't know about that but give him a call." Something must have caught her eye because she started to walk away. "I think I found Sam's gift."

Liz chuckled but left the store anyways. She had to make sure she was wrong. She had to make sure Dean wouldn't beat the shit out of Ben.

Chapter 19

Dean laughed at his little brother as Sam tried to fix a part under the hood of the toyota that had been brought in a few hours ago.

"Man." Sam whined as he stood up straight. "It's not funny." Then he frowned at the grease on his hands. "I can't believe I'm here in the shop on a Friday night, with YOU of all people when I have a hot girlfriend who is probably somewhere waiting for me."

"I've got a hot girlfriend too Sammy but you were the one who wanted to do this. You wanted to learn your way under the hood of a car so stop bitching and get back to work." Dean said with a smirk. He pulled a beer out of the cooler by his feet and opened it.

"You've got a hot girlfriend?" Ben questioned as he walked into the garage from the front desk. "I thought you were this big time player? Running through girls like they were water?" He said with a chuckle.

"Who have you been talking to?" Sam said with a laugh as he grabbed a rag to clean his hands. "Because you're about 6 months late."

"Late for what?"

"I've been a one woman man since November." Dean said with a smile before taking a sip of his beer.

"Really?" Ben stopped right next to the toyota. "So, who's the lucky tramp?"

Dean slammed his beer on the dirty, waist high metal tool box and went to hit Ben but was stopped by Sam. "How dare you call her that? You don't even know her!"

"Dean. Dean. Dean! Listen to me." Sam yelled. "He's not worth it."

"Not worth it? Did you hear what he just called Liz?"

"Yeah I did but-."

"Wait. Did he just say Liz? As in Liz Parker? The cute waitress who's always coming here to give John lunch? That Liz? That's his girlfriend?"

Sam turned to Ben when he knew Dean wouldn't try anything. "Um, yeah. Why?"

"How the-?" But he was cut off by Dean's phone going off. Dean turned in a huff and pulled his phone out of his leather jacket that was hanging on the wall behind him. When he looked at the caller id, he couldn't help the smile that easily slipped onto his face before picking it up.

"Hey babe. How's the shopping trip going?"

~"We just started but I know for a fact that it's going to get crazy."~

He could just image a small smile on her face. "Really?" Dean asked turning to Sam and Ben. "Is Serena that much of a shopaholic?"

~Liz laughed. "Yes and no. She does love to shop but she really wants to get the perfect gift for Sam for his birthday. I'm hoping we won't spend all night here considering she has to work tomorrow morning."~

"I'm glad to hear that." Suddenly an idea popped into his head. "So Liz, what are you doing after?"

~"Nothing. But apparently my parents are trusting me enough to take away my curfew, so I don't have a dead set time to be home. Why? What did you have in mind?"~

"Just thought that maybe you could swing by the garage after so Sam can see Serena cause he's been bitching to see her."

~"Dean." Liz groaned.~

Dean could picture her rolling her eyes.

"And I wouldn't mind seeing you either." There was a silence that fell between them and Dean was afraid she hung up on him. "Liz?"

~"Yeah I guess we can. I mean I wouldn't mind seeing you either." She joked.~ And Dean laughed. ~"Bye Dean. See you later."~

"Later babe." Then he waited a beat. "I love you."

~"I love you too, Dean. Bye."~

A smile was permanently fixed on his face as he hung up. Then he remembered where he was and put his phone away. When he turned to get back to work, Sam was already next to him.

"Liz is with Serena?" Dean gave him a look and Sam rolled his eyes. "Okay. Stupid question. Liz and Serena are always together but what are they doing and more importantly, are they coming this way?"

"Yeah they're coming this way." Dean smirked at Ben as he took another drink from his can of beer that was slightly dented in. "So let's get this car working so when our girls get here, they don't have to wait.

***

Serena had settled on getting Sam a laptop. It was small (for him) but he'd love it because Serena had put thought into his gift. Liz got her nerdy best friend an upgrade in all of his favorite programs AND she got him his very own Cd player because knowing Sam, he was bound to be stuck somewhere and would need it.

"So are we done yet? I really wanna go by the shop to see if Ben got started on my car." Liz stopped at the driver's door and stared at Serena. "What?"

She hadn't told S about going to the garage after shopping because she had forgotten. Dean telling her he loved her over the phone was a first and she had been a bit shocked. Not that it mattered though. She should have known her best friend would want to go to the shop.

"Nothing. I was just gonna say the same thing. Except Dean said that Sam is with him. Do you still wanna go?" Liz joked.

"If you weren't my best friend, I'd totally slap you right now for not telling me sooner." Serena said with a shake of her head.

"Hey. I forgot." Liz whined as she opened the doors to her bug and got in. Serena rolled her eyes as did the same. "So? To the garage?"

"To the garage!" Serena yelled before pushing play on Liz's radio.

Chapter 20

Just a girl by No Doubt was the first thing Sam, Dean and Ben heard. Liz and Serena's off key singing was the second thing.

"I can't believe she actually listens to that crap." Dean mumbled as he wiped his hands and face with the clean rag in the back of his pants.

"Shut up." Sam chuckled as he pushed Dean's shoulder playfully. "Her music isn't that bad, man." Dean gave him a "yeah right" look. "It's better than your old ass music."

"Hey." Dean went to hit Sam but he moved away just as the girls walked in. "Ladies!"

Serena was the first one through the small door that was on the closed garage door. She was wearing a black crop jacket with a noticeably long brown shirt under it. She had on a pair of black shorts and brown cowgirl boots that had a tall, thin heel.

"Hey Dean." She greeted but Dean could see that she only had eyes for Sam who was waiting a few feet in front of her with his arms open. "Hey baby." She greeted with a twinkle in her eyes and a slow kiss that had both Dean and Ben rolling their eyes. Then Liz walked in and Dean forgot about everyone else.

She was wearing a dark blue leather jacket that was open and Dean could see a white tee shirt with a pink strawberry cartoon character on it. She had on his favorite tight dark blue jeans that looked like a second skin and these cute pink wedged heels. She had a huge smile on her face and Dean felt his heart skip a beat.

"Sam. Serena." She laughed as she passed by them. "Hey Ben."

"Hey Liz." He greeted but instead of stopping like she normally would have, she walked right pass him.

"Hey babe." Dean smirked but was surprised when Liz jumped into his arms, her legs wrapping around his waist before she kissed him like never before.

It was a deep and passionate kiss that made Dean weak in the knees. Liz anchored herself with her arms wrapped tightly around his neck. Dean held Liz close until air became a must. Then she pulled back and smiled at him.

"Hey right back at cha."

"Not that I'm complaining but what was that for?"

"That, Dean, was for the first time you told me you loved me on the phone today." Dean smirked.

"If I would have known I'd be kissed like that, I would have said it a long time ago."

"Shut up." Liz laughed as she unwrapped her legs and slid down his body until she was standing on her own. Then she turned to Ben. "Sorry about that but sometimes, I can't help myself."

He simply nodded before leaving the room. Dean chuckled to himself as he held Liz close from behind.

"I guess not everyone can take our heat." He joked and Liz couldn't help but roll her eyes.

***

"So I will drop Serena off and take your car back to our house where you and Dean will already be?" Sam repeated for the fifth time.

"Actually we'll meet you at the house." Dean suddenly told him.

"Wait. What?"

"I've got a surprise babe." Liz bit her lower lip. She hated surprises. After a year and a half of dealing with all the alien bullshit and running from the FBI did that to a person. Add in the fact that she never really liked surprises before all that... And while he didn't know about the alien stuff, Dean did know that she hated surprises. "And don't worry," He told her as he gently pulled her lower lip free. "You'll love it."

She really wanted to believe him but her paranoia kept that from happening. Change was coming but was it good or bad?

"Okay then." Serena suddenly said. "Why don't we just get going because I have work tomorrow morning and Ben is staring at us like a stalker." She whispered the last part but the brothers and Liz heard it.

All four turned slowly to where Ben had walked off and sure enough, he was standing by his car just staring at them. He hadn't even opened the door to get in. He just...he stood by it, with his hands on the roof and was staring directly at them.

"Let's go." Liz said quickly. She tossed Sam her keys and headed to Dean's car. She always left an overnight bag in the impala just in case. "Bye guys. See you tomorrow S and we'll see you later Sam." Just as she was about to get into the impala, she stopped. "No sex in my car please. If I can't, you can't."

Sam flushed while Serena just rolled her eyes. "Yeah. Okay, grandma." Serena joked as she got into the passenger seat. Sam followed quietly after her.

As they drove off, Liz dropped into the impala. Dean sat with a smirk on his face and Liz gave him a confused look. "What?"

"Nothing." He told her as he started the impala and pulled off but he still had a smirk on his face.

"Come on Dean. I know you. Why are you smirking?"

"Smirking?" He looked at her real quick before looking back at the road. "I wasn't smirking."

"Yes you were and yes you still are." Liz told him with a small smile. "So what are you smirking for?"

"I was just remembering the look on Ben's face when you walked by him and jumped into my arms."

"Okay. And?"

"And...it was priceless."
