DESTINY, FATE, SPACE AND TIME - MATURE - Complete

Post by Rain »

Disclaimer: Don't own them and after the mess Katims made don't really wanna.
Summary: Its's too short for one
Rating: MATURE
Author's Note: This is a possible futre and its also in the form of verse, this is the first time I've ever posted anything anywhere so I hope you enjoy.
I was reading it over and realised that I didn't give enough clues so just in case you don't figure it out, this is the story of Liz's life, deviating from season two.

DESTINY, FATE, SPACE AND TIME

PROLOGUE

They never saw her
Why would they have cared?
He was gone
And nothing else was left.
But in a corner of the floor
Far from prying eyes
She crouches over her belly
Sings to the soul in her womb
For this she hopes will be her salvation
As everything else is lost
And this she hopes will be
All that she has always longed.

He is gone now
Far away from here
He said he wouldn’t return
Until the world has burned.
He cursed her forever
For she was his poison
But now he'd found another
He’d felt her healing touch
He forgot about the other
The sin he'd left behind
And began a new world order
With his lover by his side.

She sits in a corner
Awaiting revenge
For the child he has spawned
Will grow into a man.
The man will be Nemesis
And a warrior at once
Steal from his father
What he stole from her.
But for now she lies in the corner
Awaiting birth and the dreams she has woven
She knows will never become.
He has a lover by his side
A woman of royal blood
And she was just a diversion
Until he had found this one.
The poison that used to run
Through his imperial veins
Has forever been purged
And forgotten along the way.

She prays the child will be a man
For she would not wish her curse on a girl
But fate it seemed has been
Nothing but cruel to her.
The others whisper about them
The woman and the girl
Who traverse the lands unknown
And never bother to return.
But soon the burden of mortality
Will become too heavy for her
And where a pair walked together
There will be only one.

They still whisper about her
The girl with dead eyes
Even as she becomes a warrior
With a heart of eternal ice.
She never walks with anyone
As she travels the avenues of time
And when she encounters another
All fear the ways she treads.
No stars smile upon her
For fate wants nothing else
Because the mother has fallen
The daughter must avenge.
Destiny cannot mock her
Nor immortality stand in her path
For when she stands before him
Her father will learn her ways.
She will never surrender
Like her mother once did
And she will walk away
To never return again.

He stands by his lover
Together hand in hand
Never to know a love
Stronger than their's.
They never could make something
Out of their eternal bliss
For her womb could not take
The pain of such a love.
And so they stand and watch
As she walks away
And there are no regrets now
But she knows better anyway.
Someday her father will remember
Why he left his home
And when he does remember
Only then will he know.

She knew love
All encompassing love
For she learnt it in the womb
She knows of its pleasures
And she certainly knows its wounds.
So she will not falter where her mother fell
And she will not succumb where her father did
She will travel the avenues of space and time
And she will overcome where others fell behind.
For she had toppled mountains
Even before she was born
And time will stand still
For the child that should never have been.
And her father will soon remember with his lover by his side
That she will never become him or pay respect of kind
She will be his destroyer, Nemesis in all her folds,
And she will conquer
Where her mother never could.
For though her bearer is lost in the sea of souls
She is the very weaver to weave her perfect holes
Through these holes the water will wash away the pain
And her mother will rise to never fall again.

For love is the lesson that bears a learning to
And never the victim forgets the face of the killer so
And now they stand together, the mother with the child
For they have conquered all, that before them fell.
The father he remembers the lesson not as well
And when love will crush him he will never forget
His lover will die, withered, burnt away by lies
And the father, he will be by himself.
The others will come around him
Offering him comfort still
But he will never seek it for it'll be his cross to bear
Never will he forget the wrath of his woman scorned
And never will he remember the joys of love in whole.

So listen carefully and listen well
Love may be salvation, love may be hell
But love is above all others
And that we know quite well.
And when you look at the Heavens
I know you will understand
Love is not meant for the weak
Nor for the kind of heart
It is only meant for those
Who have lost everything
When there is nothing else to be found...

EPILOGUE

The past is the past they say
But what of that which faces us head on
Makes us see things we'd rather forget
Makes us question everything else?
So I stand here before you
A warning to all those who'd listen
And I’ll tell you a story
Of a man who missed this lesson.
He was young
He was in love
He was just a boy
Seeking manhood.
He chose the wrong one
To give his heart to
And even now when he speaks of her
There is nothing but regret in his words.

Wrapped in threads of silken gold
He speaks of a world none of us know.
He came from the stars he laments
But was bestowed with feet of clay
Promised a future of glory
And left to a life so ordinary.
He strived oh how he tried
To rise above his self
To claim the birthright that was his
And nothing ofcourse ever stood in his way.
Except for a girl no more older than him
Beckoning him to earth from his dreams in the skies
With only her chocolate eyes.
Now that he thinks of her
He remembers things he had forgotten then
Her eyes are now a reminder of the land he left behind
Of all he had never wanted when he finally realised
He was above this place.
He wanted to dance among the stars
Learn the secrets of space and time
Teach fate about destiny and follow the path
That others had paved for him.

So the pupil became a teacher
Leaving behind the past
Forgetting conveniently what happens
When there is no one left to turn to.
He found a companion in someone just like him
Dreaming of a world that was so out of reach
And together the young lovers set out on a journey
That would forever lead them astray.
They left some behind
Who willingly stayed
To make their own lives
Their own mistakes
Their own choices
And some they left without telling
Fearing what would become.
For if he had ever known
That girl and the life growing inside
He might have reconsidered
But that is surely a speculation
On the mind of a man consumed by his own self
Who cannot know anything else.

And great he did become
For that was his calling
And rise he did to be
One mighty and feared
A leader and a warrior that none could compare to.
Together with his bride
He forged a path others envied
And together they tried
To create their own world.
Happiness and joy
Peace and serenity
Though was bestowed on them
No child grew between
And no innocent laughter could be heard
Only silent, invisible cries.
For the visage of perfection was crumbling quietly
And even love could not contain the pain of the barren.

His exploits grew to legends
And worlds trembled at his approach.
But a distant storm was brewing heading soon their way
Because there were whispers already
Heralding silently of a warrior
With no agenda, no hidden reasons
A warrior on the path of destruction
With no savage purpose but only one
To meet the mighty king of the stars
And to ask something of him
That he would never give.
Oh how the king questioned
Every advisor he knew
Seeking out counsel from places unknown.
Always silence met his query
And no one really knew
What the great warrior wanted
Why he would choose to come
To a place of peace and happiness
A place of empty promises.
What a great fighter could want
From glass arms and flowery weaponry.
The whispers grew
The rumours spread
Like a plague upon the land
Reaching the far ends of the kingdom
Always the questions lingered.
Unrest rose
But even the stories
The legends that were building
Did not prepare the people
For what came their way.
Because the was not a man
Nor dressed in fine armoury.

She came like an angel
Treading softly upon their dreams.
For she seemed to be at first
No more than a vision of perfection
A wondrous sight for all those blind.
But the fire that burnt
In place of her eyes
Told another story
They stood there together
The king and his wife
With questions on their mind.
His memory stirred and he knew then
His grip on her hand was vise-like
And she understood soon
That her husband knew at his progeny
The clouds cleared but the questions remained
Why she was here after all this time?
What was on her mind?
His lover stood so silently
Willing herself to stand her ground
For in her king's eyes she saw a sudden glow
That never before she had known
Even as she felt her own world shatter
And her spirit leaving her behind.
They knew now how she became
That warrior feared so much
For she stood tall and proud
Bold and strong and very much on her own.

She asked him a question that he never wanted to hear
And he stood there still with no reply
For the question broke his lover
Dulling her senses
Leaving only her lifeless body behind.
Those words still remained in the air
A pulse in the eternal mind
Was the epiphany and stimulus.
Driven mad by that question
He retreated in kind
And even as the wind blew their way
The warrior was out of sight.

They could find no way to turn him
From the path he had chosen
And no one knew how to cure
The healer of his own wounds.
And so with tears and much grief
They sent their king home
To a place he never wanted to go.
And when he did arrive
All he saw was barren desert
Mocking him still.
Friends and family turned to him
He refused them outright
For he knew this journey was his alone
And he turned away from life.

Now where his grave lies
There the wind has weathered his tombstone
And an epitaph etched upon it
Asks that question again of him:
What turns away the winds of change?
What keeps the storms at bay?
What defies destiny, father?
What always remains?
And a voice heard far away
Cocooned in the arms of her saviour
Her child who gave up everything
Whispers quietly:
Faith...
