I really love all the GA art, really interesting. Especially the Addison/Meredith piece.
First art of this kind, I was just messing with the settings in PSP, no brushes, no textures, nudder. Caps are from The Institute.

Dying_Hearts, love the coloring and the composition. Wonderful!
Behrsgirl77, I adore the brushwork, and how you used the green to bring out her eyes. Although, I think that the effects of the art do overshadow Rachel a tad. I'd recommend bringing her out more, maybe duplicating the layer and putting it to soft light or using Levels. Overall, great job!

Thank you and I agree. That's what I don't like about it...its the diffuse glow that's too grainy I think.
BTW that fan art looks great! Love the BW. Are you using smart blur to make her look like that? Or something else? I can never figure that out!
Thanks again!!

I use a combination of blurs. Before I masked the images together, I smart blurred all of them. Then after I stamped all the visible layers and added effects, I used gaussian blur.Behrsgirl77 wrote:BTW that fan art looks great! Love the BW. Are you using smart blur to make her look like that? Filter>>Blur>>Gaussian Blur
Edit>>Fade Gaussian Blur (Shift+Ctrl+F)
- Mode: Multiply
- Opacity: Less than 70%
Ctrl+F (Repeats the filter you last used, which, in this case, would be the Gaussian Blur.)
Shift+Ctrl+F
- Mode: Screen
- Opacity: Whatever Suits the Image
Then anything that looked a bit pixel-y or I thought could be smoother, I used the blur tool, using a small, round brush.
