OK, so I know it's been determined that Maria never actually used the term "chica" on the show and that's pretty much fanon. Can anyone think of any nicknames/petnames that she did call Liz on the show?

Maria didn't really call her any pet names. Madonna once, Gidget once, as a joke, and maybe Lizzie once or twice, but usually just Liz.

How long was Max in the White Room?

For some reason, I can't remember.

Well I'm no authority, and I don't know if they actually said how long it was in the show, but as far as I can tell it was only actually the night they took him plus one whole day. This is based on the fact that Valenti said he'd been up all night trying to figure out what happened at the carnival when he came to see Liz, Maria, and Alex the next day at the Crashdown. And Liz said that she would wait until four o'clock before she got Valenti involved, and they broke Max out that night.

Yeah, I would also say that it was only a day. It doesn't seem to be any longer for what we saw of the kids. When Isabel tries to dreamwalk Max it looked like early morning, and then the pod squad was lurking in Eagle Rock during daylight. And then there's Liz waiting till 4 o'clock, and I doubt the Sheriff would have waited a whole day to get there.

24 hours that must have looked like one hell of an eternity to Max :|

Thanks, Chad and Misha.

For some reason, it felt longer than that. (Go fig.)

Here's something that's been bugging me....and I know there's is not a yes or no answer from the tv show.So everyone can just tell me what they think and that will be fine.

But if Max were to heal say Liz or Kyle again...for whatever reason...would that make their powers show up faster? The more they're healed the faster they'll change into hybrids?

Well, it's as you say, we never got any further explanation in the show. We don't even know if the kids in Phoenix are sparkling green now...

You can play it both ways, from my point of view. There are valid points to sustain either side. Besides, I never saw it as they becoming hybrids. After all, Nasedo said it was because of their human brain that they had their powers, so I always thought of it as an enhancement of some sort for Liz and Kyle

Never really thought about their powers coming faster if Max healed them again. Interesting concept.

It is possible that Max didn't make them hybrids, but I was always in the boat that he did fundamentally alter Liz, at least. So the question is, does every healing alter the human, or just ones that are on the brink of death, or did Max subconsciously change Liz to be more like him?

Michael healed RiverDog. Will he get powers? And what about the kids in Phoenix? They weren't on the brink of death, but were slowly dying. So is there a mini army of hybrids in that hospital? lol

Maybe getting powers is the side effect of Max healing someone, like Michael's powers created Cadmium X when he killed Pierce. Or maybe Max creates Cadmium X inside people he heals and that changes them.

I personally don't believe every healing would alter the person. But I think if someone was altered by healing, it is possible that further healing could speed up the process once it has begun.
