There are so many tutorials out there. Just go to Google and type in PSP 8 tutorials and you'll get hundreds of good results

Okay since most of the links on here are broken can anyone tell me a site that is good for photoshop? I'm clueless on how to use it and would really like to start creating things soon!

You can get some from this site, http://www.themagic-box.net/ps_tutorials.php - a really great site but there are also links to other places. You can always use the default and just do a google search for the tutorial for the version of photoshop you have
