I almost didn't go to my high school prom either. I wasn't popular by social standards. I however did want to go because truthfully, I wanted to feel like a normal teenager for just one night. To be able to go out, have fun with friends and just ... let loose. I was so pent up during high school and being raised strictly while my brother was allowed to do whatever and say ever he wised, was unfair. I had poor self image issues as well back then.

In any case, I was determined to go, whether with or without a date. I did go and I enjoyed myself immensely. It has to be one of the top 10 memories I look back on with a warm feeling. My prom date was a friend's little brother (I was 17, he was 15). He was a perfect gentlemen as well, which helped. I was always a bit skittish around boys my own age, for obvious reasons. In any case, I don't regret my decision to go because it gave me a bit of a confidence boost that I sorely needed.

Hell, I was so determined to go, if I hadn't gone with my friend's little brother, I was actually going to take my own little brother with me. He was the "popular" one in school. Now, I'm so happy that he wasn't able to go, because it would have made for a miserable night for me.

I'm opposite to you. I have to have piece of everything on my fork before I put it in my mouth. My huspand always teases me about it. One time he got me plate where was 12 different items. I was so frustrated when I didn't manage to palce them on the fork at the same time

Here where I live, we do not have proms never.

No idea. After that things were strained between us. We still hung out but there was always this underlying tension.

I almost didn't go to my junior prom, I didn't go to the senior prom at all because I was grounded for not attending a class. Anyway, I only made up mind about going to the junior prom about a week before it was scheduled. So I went up to Mom asked her for the money for tickets (I was going with a guy friend of mine since he didn't have a date either) and she said sure and asked when it was and I told her it was the next week. All in all I'm glad I went because it turned out the next year I couldn't go.

Bored and sick so I'm going to do this again

1. I know the lyrics for every song from Repo, including all the deleted scenes with the exception of the one where Amber trades her body for Zydrate.

2. I'm obsessed with Mentholatum, I put it everywhere when I'm sick.

3. I'm a preppy nerd. I love table top role playing games, video games, and I still play Magic The Gathering from time to time, but I dress like a total prep and have a ton of a makeup and no one realizes that I'm just as nerdy as my husband is.

4. I love Riccola cough drops , I eat them like friggen candy, whenever I get them.

5. I love putting stuff together, I normally get frustrated and make my husband do it half way through, but I love looking at a bunch of pieces of something and then seeing the finished product and know that I had a hand in putting it together.

The last movie I saw in an actual movie theater was The Break Up. That was like a hundred years ago.

ETA: Rod, I never went to prom, either. Small-school proms are a joke anyway. I was actually nominated for prom queen, but I didn't win, and the Class Bitch won instead. I knew she was going to win, which was why I didn't go. Bitch.

Boy am I really glad that my school didn't have Prom Kings and Queens. I never understood the need for that crap.

I haven't been years. Too many things bug me about watching a movie with alot of people.

1. I met my husband when I was 16 and he was 22 at a university function. He gave me his email address and we talked for a whole year as friends before I even thought of dating him.

2. I dated 12 different guys in high school, one for 1 and half years.

3. I lied to my husband about my age when I met him I told him I was 19 because come on what older guy wants to hang with a high school kid.

4. My daughters name is Ariel. She was born with a mass of bright red hair. My husband has black and I have brown hair. I came up with the name when I was 6 months pregnant no idea she was going to have red hair.

5. I am the most innocent person I think alive.

This isn't really a little known fact--it's actually a commonly known fact, but I don't think I've told anyone on here.

I dance while I drive. I call it upper body dancing. I've been told that my entire car bounces up and down as I drive. It's good exercise.

Me too! I also turn my music up really loud, but then turn it down when I pull up at a red light so people don't stare at the weirdo with the music blaring.
