Putting the L in Deluca

We've been having a debate about Maria's surname, specifically, how it's spelled. Should there be a random capital letter in the middle of her name for no reason. Or should be spelled like all other names, and just have one capital letter at the beginning?

Is it Deluca with a small l?

or

DeLuca with a capital L?

or

De Luca with a space?

We've talked about this, you silly girl

The way it's spelled in transcripts is DeLuca. That's just how it's spelled. Just like Isabel isn't spelled Isabelle, DeLuca isn't spelled any of those other ways. See, check imdb: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0201391/

And it's a valid name. Other DeLuca's spell their name that way, it's not just limited to the Roswell universe.

So I guess what I'm saying is if you want to be faithful to canon, then it's DeLuca.

You should give up, it's a lost battle.

It's DeLuca. Basta

I think I've used Deluca, but I guess DeLuca is correct if it's on IMDB and in episode transcripts. My defense is that I saw Deluca being used around fandom and so I just went with it. Does this mean I have to hand back my candy fan card?

 Oh, goodness.

I think I've always used DeLuca, and it was probably because, back in my beginning of Roswell-Internet exploration, I saw it spelled like that on crashdown.com. Although when I saw this thread, I had to stop and think about whether I used DeLuca or Deluca.

I can handle any of them, though. Isabel spelled Isabelle is a little harder for me.

DeLuca.

That's something that makes me wanna bang my head on the table. If the writers have had used th French version of that name then yes, It's Isabelle. It can't be hard to write Isabel...It's even shorter.

I always spell it Deluca, but I read in wikipedia that it's wrong.
