The ironic part is that they didn't even have to kill Alex off. They could have had him go missing while Colin was off making his movie. I would have had him kidnaped by a jealous Khivar who wanted to use him as bet to draw in Isabel.

This was an I/A story but had everyone else in it. Isabel was found as a kid by Amy and young Maria. She was adopted by them. Later Amy and Jim get married and with Kyle they all become a family. Years later they have to move to Roswell when Jim gets the sheriff job there.
