Part 10
“Of course” Wesley muttered before he sighed “I think it would be best if we all got some sleep tomorrow is going to be a long day. There are 6 bedrooms upstairs and the two couches down here.” Wesley stated before heading up to his bedroom.
Isabel and Justine took the couches downstairs while everyone else headed upstairs. Oz and Maria shared a room as did Willow and Alex. Michael and Connor headed into separate bedrooms. About ten minutes later Liz knocked and headed into Connor’s bedroom. She found him out on the balcony
“Hey I found you another t-shirt” She said as she handed it to him. He changed out of his bloody, ripped t-shirt before turning to Liz.
“Liz, why did you kiss me?” He asked
“Oh” Liz mumbled “Was that a bad thing”
“It’s just this prophecy says that we have to work together……Did that have anything to do with it?” He questioned
“No it didn’t” Liz stated as she realized just how close they were. There bodies were only inches apart and Liz leant up and kissed Connor on lips. She pulled away for a moment before Connor leant in and held the kiss. Connor picked her up and carried her to the bed. Their lips never parting within moments they were lying down.
Liz wove her fingers through Connors hair as his hands explored her body. Liz moved her hands down his chest, over his ab’s until they found the hem of his shirt. She pulled back for a moment to remove his shirt and he removed hers. Connor held himself up leaning on one elbow while with the other hand he began slowly caressing Liz’s right breast.
Liz moved slightly so she could reach down and undo his belt and stifled a moan when Connor’s arousal pressed against her thigh. Moments later they were both laying there naked. Whenever they touched it was as if they had electricity coursing through their veins and this only served to excite them even more.
With their hands exploring and their breathing becoming faster they eventually had to pull back for air. “I’ve never done this before” Connor whispered nervously. Liz had only done it once before, she gently pushed him so they rolled over and Liz was on top. Their lips met in a soul searing kiss; they both moaned when Liz slowly lowered herself down.
She began moving her hips before they rolled over again and Connor began thrusting. His pace increased and Liz wrapped her legs around his waist allowing him deeper. He felt Liz’s wall’s clamp down signaling the arrival of her release and leant down catching her lips. Her body shook with ecstasy as his climax followed soon after.
As they caught their breath Liz pulled the blanket over them and Connor wrapped his arms around her holding her close. He planted a kiss on her bare shoulder and they let sleep take over.
Liz awoke the next morning as the sun filtered through the window. Remembering where she was she rolled over to see Connor still sleeping peacefully. She watched thinking how innocent he looked when he slept
“You know it’s rude to stare” Connor mumbled
“I’m not staring just looking” Liz stated as she gave Connor a quick kiss before getting up and getting dressed. Half an hour later they both headed downstairs.
“Hey Liz we got some good news and some bad news and some worse news” Maria informed her
Liz thought for a moment “Start in the middle with the bad news”
“Okay bad news the orb in which the beast already has is what he will use to block out the sun”
“And the good news?”
“Good news we know how you guys can destroy him its with a weapon made from his own bone, worse news it’s in another dimension where the oxygen is thin”
“Great” Liz said sarcastically
“Is there anyway we can monitor what the beast is doing?” Connor asked
“Taken care of” Willow said, Liz and Connor turned to see willow behind what appeared to be a cauldron. They made there way over in time to see the beast heading up a rock incline.
“Michael the granolith” Isabel said
“Wait what's the granolith?” Alex asked
“All we know is that it is a huge source of power entrusted to Antarian royalty. We don’t actually know what it’s for” Isabel explained
The beast violently punched its way through the wall of the granolith and walked up to what Liz thought looked like a purple ice cream cone. Liz observed as the beast leant close to the cone and inhaled. Black air appeared to be drawn out of the granolith and into the beast as he was inhaling. He stopped and the color had been drained from the cone and the beast headed out to the ‘roof’ of the granolith.
Holding the orb up between himself and the sun the beast exhaled the black air which found its way into the orb. As he did this it got darker until the sun was completely blocked out.
“Willow, find out how to open the portal to the dimension with this weapon” Liz stated. It was now dark and like the prophecy said vampires could now wander 24\7.
“Liz, are you sure about this? The oxygen is thin and god knows what else will be on the other side of the portal” Wesley warned
“I’ll go too” Connor said and Liz squeezed his hand in appreciation.
“Right well we will need a pentagram on the floor in the lobby for starter’s willow and I will find the incantation needed” Wesley said as he headed for his books.
Alex went into the basement and returned with a can of red spray paint. Liz took it into the lobby and sprayed a rather large pentagram on the floor. Connor got the horn so they could hopefully get a second weapon made.
“You sure about this?” Connor asked as he pulled Liz into a hug
“Not really but I don’t have much choice” She said to his chest
However at that moment a portal opened above the pentagram.
“Willow what’s going on?” Liz yelled across the room
“I don’t know we haven’t read the incantation yet” Willow yelled back before a man, looking to be in his early twenties fell out of the portal. There was a read light emerging from his heart and he screamed in pain as the light faded. The portal closed and the room fell silent.
When the man eventually looked up willow’s voice could be heard “Angel?”

Part 11
Liz immediately grabbed a stake and readied herself for a fight “Angel or Angelus” She demanded
“Angel” He said, while raising in hands in surrender “Hi Willow, um where’s buffy?” Angel asked looking around at many unfamiliar faces
“She’s in Sunnydale” Liz pointed out
“Well then where am I? and who are you?” Angel asked
“You are in Roswell. My name is Liz a slayer” She explained
“Wait a slayer is buffy…”
“She’s okay” Willow explained “I spoke to her on the phone last night”
“Oh thank god. Now tell me why are you trying to open a portal?”
“Because an old friend of yours, the beast, is back and has blocked out the sun. It’s currently around lunchtime” Liz stated
“Let me guess, you were going to the Squorloph dimension to get the sword?” Angel asked
“Pretty much” Liz replied
“Well the oxygen is thick there you’ll never survive.” Angel thought about it for a moment “Will, you’re sure Buffy’s okay?”
“She’s fine” Willow nodded
“Okay um I’ll go for you, never know I might get a lead on Holtz” Angel muttered
“Uh guys you wanna give us a minute” Liz said to everyone but Connor. Liz and Connor were holding hands and she felt him tense slightly.
“Why do we need a minute? What happened is…” Angel started
“Take it easy angel. Holtz is dead”
“What, where, how? Is Connor…?”
“I’m okay” Connor said from next to Liz “He took me to Quor-toth” Connor explained
Angel went silent not sure of what to say. “I’m so sorry… I looked for you we tried to find you I…” Angel trailed off. Then Connor did something unexpected. He hugged angel.
Liz smiled at the interaction knowing that it took a lot for Connor to do that. Angel returned the hug and Liz saw a tear trickle down his face. A few moments later Wesley returned and cleared his throat.
“Uh sorry to interrupt but Liz there is a rather large group of vampires’ downtown. I’m afraid you’re going to have to get out there”
“Right um Angel offered to go to Squorloph for us” Liz explained as she grabbed a few of her stakes. Angel watched as Connor did the same. However before they left Liz turned back to angel. “Um we worked out that both Connor and I have to kill this thing so we might need another weapon made” Liz said handing him the horn.
“How the hell did you get this?” Angel asked
“I didn’t, Connor did” Liz pointed out and she turned to leave
“Connor” angel yelled as they headed out the door “be careful”
“You too” Connor replied and he and Liz headed off in the direction of downtown.
“You okay?” Liz asked as they headed down the empty streets. It appeared many of the townspeople had fled.
“Yeah, A little… I dunno confused but I think killing a few vampires will help” Connor smirked and Liz leant in to kiss him.
“Well lookie here. A couple of little love birds walking around town” A cocky female voice could be heard behind them
Liz and Connor pulled apart and readied them selves for a fight.
“Oh I don’t think so” She said as she clicked her fingers and a group of about 35 vampires came out of nowhere. “Do we get to eat tonight Dru?” A blonde British vampire asked
“Dru? You must be spike” Liz observed
“Well we’ve got a quick one” Spike said
“Bring them to us” Dru yelled and the vampires began to attack. Many of them were brain dead and only serving Dru in the hopes they would receive something in return. Liz kicked a vampire in the chest before staking him and then another to her left. One vampire kneed Liz in the back before she spun and staked him.
Liz was staking vampires quite easily and judging by screams of pain Connor was doing the same. About 20 minutes later after Liz staked the last vampire she spun around and saw Connor being held by Drusilla. Drusilla had one arm around him and was holding one of her sharp nails against his cheek.
“Mmm he smells nice. Maybe I’ll just take a sip” She said as she scratched his cheek and blood began to trail down.
“NO!” Liz yelled furiously and she began to walk towards her
“Uh ah, one step closer and I’ll do to him what I did to Kendra” Drusilla warned and Liz stopped in her tracks. “You see spike here and I are quite thirsty and we’ve got enough for the both of us right here”
“No take me” Liz ordered
“O go on Drusilla lets eat her.” Spike requested and he advanced on Liz
“As long as he goes free” Liz said pointing to Connor.
“Liz don’t” Connor pleaded but Spike advanced on Liz and began sucking her blood. However moments later another girl staked Drusilla
“That’s for Kendra”
Connor didn’t bother do find out who it was he dove for his stake shooter and shot spike in the head causing hm to drop Liz and then shot him in the heart turning him into dust. He ran over and picked Liz up in his arms.
“How long was she being bitten?” The girl asked
“A few seconds, ten maybe twenty” Connor said
“She’ll be okay I have been bitten for longer than that we should get her to safety though. I’m Buffy by the way”
“Connor, Buffy… you’re a friend of Willow’s” Connor thought out loud
“Yep, best we get going, my friends are in a car not far from here can you carry her”
Connor nodded and picked an unconscious Liz around the corner to a dark green jeep. “Xander come and help” Buffy yelled
“What happened?” The teenage boy asked
“She was bitten” Buffy explained as they helped her into the car. “Connor this is Xander and faith” Buffy introduced as she got into the drivers seat and headed for Wesley’s house. Liz regained consciousness on the way there
“Hey, you’re okay” Liz whispered to Connor
“You know I should be angry with you” Connor stated sternly
“You should but you aren’t” Liz pointed out before pulling him close for a kiss. Connor brought a hand up to cup her face when faith spoke
“That’s sweet and all but what number house are heading for?”
“This one” Liz said when she realized that they had stopped outside of Wesley’s house
Connor entered first and carried Liz over to the couch. After a few moments there was a rumbling and a portal opened above the pentagram in the lobby. Connor ran out and angel came through the portal before it closed, he was carrying two shimmery swords.
From behind him Connor heard buffy spit “Connor watch out” she sounded angry. Connor turned and saw her grab a stake and throw it in the direction of Angel.
“Buffy, no!” Liz yelled as she got up and grabbed her arm but it was too late, she had already thrown the stake
Connor went to tackle angel out of the way but was stabbed in the shoulder blade the stake driving through just above his heart.
“No!” Liz yelled as she ran to his side

“Isabel!” Liz screamed as she came rushing over
“You have to heal him” Liz pleaded
“I can’t I wouldn’t be able to make a connection with him” Isabel explained
Liz took Isabel’s hand and held it above the wound “I’ll connect you heal” Liz said. Isabel was skeptical but concentrated none the less, just as she was about to give up hope there was a faint glow around Connors wound and within moments it had disappeared
“He has lost a lot of blood he will probably be unconscious for a while” Isabel explained
“I’ll take him up to your room” Angel said patting Liz on the shoulder before bending down to pick up Connor and carry him upstairs.
“Thank you” Liz said as she hugged Isabel. Isabel was surprised at the gesture but returned the hug none the less. The more superficial people she previously spent her time with were not as caring.
Liz then turned to Buffy “You, what the FUCK is wrong with you?” Liz asked
“I saw him with the swords he might have been Angelus” Buffy felt horrible and was now trying to convince herself as well as Liz that she had not done wrong
“Did you not notice the rest of us being calm?? And what do you suck at slaying that much that you have to attack vampires when they least expect it. You were supposed to love the guy surely you must have thought ‘he’s back probably for a reason’”
“Yes I did love him but as a slayer I was not just looking out for myself there are others here…”
“What so now I don’t think about my friends?” Liz new she was over-reacting but she needed to vent her anger
“I can understand you’re mad…” Buffy began before being cut off by Liz.
“No you know what” Liz said before punching Buffy as hard as she could in the jaw “Wow I feel so much better now. Liz said casually walking over to the couch and sitting down next to Justine. “So why are you here?”
“We are here to get Willow to destroy this talisman” Buffy said holding up a gold necklace. The charm looked like a round crystal laced with gold strands. “It’s the talisman needed to carry out the Shanshu prophecy which basically turns a vampire back into a human. Spike was going to use it and although he is dead now, word will spread amongst other vampires that we have it and they will try to use it. Only a powerful witch can destroy it”
“How does this Shanshu thingy work?” Liz asked
“We don’t know. Giles has all the books regarding it. We just didn’t see any reason to translate it, considering we came here to get it destroyed”
“No, some of you will go back to Sunnydale translate the stupid thing and Angel can use it…Then we’ll destroy it” Liz said matter-of-factly
“Excuse me?”
“Faith, Michael would you guys mind going upstairs and making sure that there are enough beds for everyone?” Liz requested
“What the hell for parker?”
“Just get off your ass and go upstairs” Liz said and Michael obliged huffing off upstairs. Faith stopped as she walked past Liz
“It’s the middle of the afternoon” Faith pointed out
Liz lowered her voice and answered “I tend to be a good judge of character. He was undressing you with his eyes and you looked like you wanted to maul him in a closet”
Faith smirked and headed upstairs “Grrr faith where are you going?” Buffy sounded slightly annoyed
“Carpe Diem” Faith hollered from the top or the stairs.
“We are not using this to turn Angel into a human” Buffy ordered
“Give me a reason why we shouldn’t” Liz paused for a moment. Buffy remained silent and Liz continued “I mean he is good he has his soul, and hey he was 19 when he died so presumably he will be that old when he returns to being a human. He can be there with Connor and you will have a normal boyfriend… Supposing he doesn’t wanna deck you like I did” Liz muttered
“Is there anyone who would like to go to on a road trip to Sunnydale?” Liz asked the room
“We’ll go” Alex said holding Willow’s hand
“Us too” Maria said as she was resting her head against Oz’s chest
“I can go to” Justine offered “I doubt Connor will need me for anything and I am not the greatest of fighters here”
“Excellent, Wesley I think you should go to” Liz pointed out
“I’m afraid I can’t do that Liz I am your watcher and there is a large chance you may need my assistance”
“Wesley, look at those who are staying, we have two humans who I am sure can at least hold their own” Liz began referring to Xander and faith “We have two aliens, two slayers, a guy who spent his life defending himself in a hell dimension and an uber vampire with a soul”
“Yes” Wesley began
“And the only thing smarter than one watcher is two watchers”
“I’m not going to win this argument am I” Wesley asked
“Nope” Liz smirked “And I suggest you leave now because we just got rid off a whole bunch of vampires and you’ll wanna get out of town before they regroup”
Wesley sighed and left with the others for Sunnydale. Liz headed back upstairs to check on Connor. Isabel was sitting on the couch regaining some of her energy when Xander sat down next to her with a glass of water “Uh here this might help” he said handing it to her “So where did everybody go?”
“Thanks” Isabel said taking the water “Um half of them left for Sunnydale, Liz went to wait till Connor wakes up, Angel just went outside to talk to Buffy and Faith is upstairs doing god knows what with Michael” Isabel stated
“Yeah she does that. Hey I’m gonna let my curiosity get the better of me here and ask what it’s like being an alien?” Xander asked and he and Isabel spent the next hour or so getting to know one another.

Mean while upstairs Liz had begun to pace nervously around the room. She new Connor would be okay but that didn’t mean she could sit still, patience did not seem to be a virtue she possessed. Thankfully about fifteen minutes later Connor woke up.
“Hey” He said and Liz hugged him
“How are you feeling?” She asked
“Slight headache but otherwise okay, um Buffy and Dad…”
“They are fine. Buffy feels horrible, thought he was Angelus again. That was a very brave thing you did you know? Oh Angel said he wanted me to tell him when you woke up” Liz explained as she moved to get up
“Just wait a minute” Connor said holding Liz’s hand “I picked up some pretty strong hearing being the son of a vampire and dad and Buffy just had a moment”
Liz smiled and lay down on the bed with Connor. He began threading his fingers through her hair as she rested her head on his chest. They lay their in silence when outside it began to rain fireballs. There attention was brought back to their destiny. Killing the beast.

“I can understand you’re mad…” Buffy began before being cut off by Liz.
“No you know what” Liz said before punching Buffy as hard as she could in the jaw “Wow I feel so much better now. Liz said casually walking over to the couch and sitting down next to Justine. “So why are you here?”
“We are here to get Willow to destroy this talisman” Buffy said holding up a gold necklace. The charm looked like a round crystal laced with gold strands. “It’s the talisman needed to carry out the Shanshu prophecy which basically turns a vampire back into a human. Spike was going to use it and although he is dead now, word will spread amongst other vampires that we have it and they will try to use it. Only a powerful witch can destroy it”
“How does this Shanshu thingy work?” Liz asked
“We don’t know. Giles has all the books regarding it. We just didn’t see any reason to translate it, considering we came here to get it destroyed”
“No, some of you will go back to Sunnydale translate the stupid thing and Angel can use it…Then we’ll destroy it” Liz said matter-of-factly
“Excuse me?”
“Faith, Michael would you guys mind going upstairs and making sure that there are enough beds for everyone?” Liz requested
“What the hell for parker?”
“Just get off your ass and go upstairs” Liz said and Michael obliged huffing off upstairs. Faith stopped as she walked past Liz
“It’s the middle of the afternoon” Faith pointed out
Liz lowered her voice and answered “I tend to be a good judge of character. He was undressing you with his eyes and you looked like you wanted to maul him in a closet”
Faith smirked and headed upstairs “Grrr faith where are you going?” Buffy sounded slightly annoyed
“Carpe Diem” Faith hollered from the top or the stairs.
“We are not using this to turn Angel into a human” Buffy ordered
“Give me a reason why we shouldn’t” Liz paused for a moment. Buffy remained silent and Liz continued “I mean he is good he has his soul, and hey he was 19 when he died so presumably he will be that old when he returns to being a human. He can be there with Connor and you will have a normal boyfriend… Supposing he doesn’t wanna deck you like I did” Liz muttered
“Is there anyone who would like to go to on a road trip to Sunnydale?” Liz asked the room
“We’ll go” Alex said holding Willow’s hand
“Us too” Maria said as she was resting her head against Oz’s chest
“I can go to” Justine offered “I doubt Connor will need me for anything and I am not the greatest of fighters here”
“Excellent, Wesley I think you should go to” Liz pointed out
“I’m afraid I can’t do that Liz I am your watcher and there is a large chance you may need my assistance”
“Wesley, look at those who are staying, we have two humans who I am sure can at least hold their own” Liz began referring to Xander and faith “We have two aliens, two slayers, a guy who spent his life defending himself in a hell dimension and an uber vampire with a soul”
“Yes” Wesley began
“And the only thing smarter than one watcher is two watchers”
“I’m not going to win this argument am I” Wesley asked
“Nope” Liz smirked “And I suggest you leave now because we just got rid off a whole bunch of vampires and you’ll wanna get out of town before they regroup”
Wesley sighed and left with the others for Sunnydale. Liz headed back upstairs to check on Connor. Isabel was sitting on the couch regaining some of her energy when Xander sat down next to her with a glass of water “Uh here this might help” he said handing it to her “So where did everybody go?”
“Thanks” Isabel said taking the water “Um half of them left for Sunnydale, Liz went to wait till Connor wakes up, Angel just went outside to talk to Buffy and Faith is upstairs doing god knows what with Michael” Isabel stated
“Yeah she does that. Hey I’m gonna let my curiosity get the better of me here and ask what it’s like being an alien?” Xander asked and he and Isabel spent the next hour or so getting to know one another.

Mean while upstairs Liz had begun to pace nervously around the room. She new Connor would be okay but that didn’t mean she could sit still, patience did not seem to be a virtue she possessed. Thankfully about fifteen minutes later Connor woke up.
“Hey” He said and Liz hugged him
“How are you feeling?” She asked
“Slight headache but otherwise okay, um Buffy and Dad…”
“They are fine. Buffy feels horrible, thought he was Angelus again. That was a very brave thing you did you know? Oh Angel said he wanted me to tell him when you woke up” Liz explained as she moved to get up
“Just wait a minute” Connor said holding Liz’s hand “I picked up some pretty strong hearing being the son of a vampire and dad and Buffy just had a moment”
Liz smiled and lay down on the bed with Connor. He began threading his fingers through her hair as she rested her head on his chest. They lay their in silence when outside it began to rain fireballs. There attention was brought back to their destiny. Killing the beast.

Liz headed downstairs to tell Angel Connor was awake and was informed by Buffy that he was out on the porch.
“Hey” Liz said as she went outside
“Hey. I saw what you did to Buffy” Angel pointed out
“Yeah well I had some anger to vent and it helped”
“Can I ask you, why you were so determined to get this Shanshu thing to work? I mean you hardly know me” Angel pointed out
“I’m doing it for Connor. Some of the stuff Holtz did” Liz paused for a moment and sighed “No one deserves that and even though if you become human again you’ll be like two years older than him it’ll be good for both of you”
“You really love him don’t you?” Angel asked and Liz nodded “Um I don’t know what he went through with Holtz but… well does Connor need a talk…one would usually get from his father…regarding stuff”
Liz blushed when she realized what he meant “No Connor doesn’t need that talk. But he’s awake and I think you should have some time alone with him before we have fight the beast. I’m going to go train” Liz said and Angel went up to spend some time with Connor
An hour later Liz had finished training and was back in the lounge room with Xander and Isabel when Connor came downstairs.
“Hey” he said when Liz got up and hugged him “So are we going to go after this beast?”
“Are you sure you’re ready?” Liz asked
“Yeah I feel heaps better. Thank you by the way Isabel”
“No problem” she said
“Right, well I think the beast is holding up in the centre of town” Liz said as she turned to get the swords, at that moment the phone rang “Hello” Liz said when she answered it
“Liz, its Willow”
“Hey Will, gimme some good news”
“Alex put the prophecy into a computer and used some program to translate it. So it’s done and we’re on our way back”
“So can it be done?”
“Yes but it turns out the prophecy was written about Angel. For it to work he has to drink the blood of two slayers at the same time” Willow explained
“So me and Buff have to bleed into a cup for a bit, anything else?” Liz asked
“Nothing that I can’t do” Willow stated proudly
“Alright well we are off to kill the beast so I will talk to you when you get back” Liz said hanging up
“Good news?” Faith asked as her and Michael came back down stairs
“Yeah” Liz headed out into the living room where she could tell everyone at once
“Was that Willow?” Buffy asked
“Yep it turns out that the Shanshu prophecy is about Angel. For it to work he has to drink a little bit of both mine and Buffy’s blood at the same time” Liz explained
“I don’t…” Angel started
“Don’t worry it doesn’t have to be a lot” Liz said “But we need to kill this beast and now” Liz stated
“Right well we can all help” Isabel said “I mean Michael and I can blast and Buffy is also a slayer”
“And me and Xander have kicked our fair share of ass” Faith said
“For the vampires maybe but the beast has to be killed by us” Connor stated
“The beast will be protected by many vampires we will need to be careful” Angel pointed out
“What do you mean, we?” Buffy questioned “Once they kill this beast the sun will be back so you are staying here” Buffy stated leaving no room for arguments
“Well now that its decided lets go” Liz said as she tossed one of the swords to Connor.
They all left but Connor was momentarily stopped by Angel “Just be careful” He said to his son
Connor hugged him before leaving, and Angel looked forward to becoming human again
Faith, Michael, Isabel, Xander, Liz and Connor walked through the eerily quiet town heading to where they presumed the beast was. They were right the beast was in the town hall which was being guarded by at least 50 vampires
“We’ll deal with the vamps you two just go inside and do your thing” Buffy told Connor and Liz.
Connor and Liz each armed with a sword snuck around the vampires and headed inside the building. They found the beast chewing on the remains of a human. Once the beast saw them he dropped what he was eating and began in their direction.
Connor and Liz spread out and circled the beast, which looked odd considering he was still missing a horn. Connor struck at the beast first kicking him in the chest before Liz swung her sword at him. The beast blocked this however and punched Liz hard in the stomach and she went flying backwards on the floor. The beast turned to Connor and went to hit him but Connor kicked his hands out of the way.
Liz sat up painfully and watched as Connor blocked the beast punch before sticking his sword into the beast. Where the sword had cut through the beast’s rocky body there was a large gold glow being emitted. Liz gathered all her energy before throwing her sword into the beast’s back.
The beast howled in pain and fell to its knees. Connor ran over to Liz and they watched as it began shaking and the light being emitted from its wounds grew brighter. They shielded there eyes and after a few moments the beast exploded sending bits of rock everywhere. The roof of the hall began to cave in and Connor helped Liz out before it collapsed completely
“You okay?”
“Yeah it’s just my ribs” Liz told Connor as she leant on him. Liz looked around and saw that everyone had the vampires under control but the sun began to regain its brightness until it was back to normal.
The remaining vampires howled as they dissolved into dust.
“Everyone okay?” Liz asked
“Nothing an ice pack won’t fix” Faith said as Liz noticed she was supporting a black eye
“Lets go” Liz said
“Can you walk?” Connor asked
“Not really. Hey Isabel?” Liz yelled “Um would you mind? I know this stuff takes a lot of energy so if you could just heal the broken ribs that would be great” Isabel nodded and healed Liz’s ribs before the six teens headed back to Wesley’s, when they arrived the rest of the gang were back from Sunnydale.
“Are you all alright?” Wesley asked when they walked in the front door
‘We’re fine” Liz said. Connor pulled her over to the couch and they sat down. Liz sat on his lap and Liz lay her head on his shoulder. Faith and Isabel launched into an explanation on the fight that happened out side.
“You sure you’re okay?” Connor whispered to Liz
“I’m fine, exhausted but fine” Liz said sleepily when she felt Connors lips press against her own. Liz relaxed kissed back as Connor tightened his grip around her. They were brought back to reality when Willow cleared her throat.
“Uh sorry to interrupt but we need a bit of your blood” Willow explained as she held out a small glass already containing some blood. Buffy had obviously gone first
Liz took the knife Willow was holding and made a small cut on her palm. She held hr hand over the glass until there were roughly equal parts of Liz and Buffy’s blood. Once she was done Michael leant over and healed the cut.
“Thanks Guerin”
“No problem parker” He said before Faith made herself comfortable on his lap.
Liz rested her head on Connor’s shoulder again and everyone watched Willow. Angel was now wearing the talisman and was holding the glass of blood. Willow began reading a spell in an ancient language. After a moment she had Angel drink the blood before she finished reading the spell.
Everyone watched in amazement as the talisman began to glow. After a moment it stopped and once Angel had taken it off it exploded.
“How do we tell if it worked?” Maria asked
“I’m breathing” Angel stated
From his spot near the window Wesley opened the blinds. Out of habit Angel’s arms flew up to his face shielding him from the sunlight however he wasn’t burning, he was human.
Buffy ran up and wrapped her arms around his neck
“What happens now?” Connor asked
“Well Angel will have to adapt to being human again, you will go back to living in your own houses and studying for school like any normal teenager would. Except for the slayers who will continue training and slaying” Wesley stated as he turned and aimed his last statement to Liz.
However she was not listening and was instead in another lip lock with Connor.
