Double Trouble(AU M/L MATURE) New A/N 4/7/06 [WIP]

Hi Everyone,

I am going to be in NY this weekend to go to the Tribecca Film Festival with Dreamer 4 Ever aka Jen and Jasonslover4life aka Crystal as well as my other friends Karen and Christine who are fellow Roswellians as well. So I will be back on Sunday. Just to let you know. I can't wait my first film festival should be a blast!!!

So here is my New Chapter as promised. Side note the experience that happends to Alex at Fenway I actually witnessed at Fenway Park during a Red Sox game last summer while I was in Boston. It was crazy. So hold on to your hats.

Chapter Forty

Saturday came faster then the group expected as they all packed their bags and headed up north for their weekend in Boston.

"I'm gonna tell you a story
I'm gonna tell you about my town
I'm gonna tell you a big bad story, baby

The music from The Standells song Love that Dirty Water (Boston your my home) rang through the air of Fenway Park as the group made their way out of the ball park after the game.

"Yeah, down by the river
Down by the banks of the river Charles
(aw, that's what's happenin' baby)
That's where you'll find me
Along with lovers, fuggers, and thieves
(aw, but they're cool people)"

Isabel, Tess, Kyle and even Alex swayed to the music as they stood up in their seats as they sang along to the song.

"Well I love that dirty water
Oh, Boston, you're my home
(oh, you're the Number One place)"

Kyle and Alex then took the next verse as they faced and sang to Isabel and Tess.

"Frustrated women (I mean they're frustrated)
Have to be in by twelve o'clock (oh, that's a shame)
But I'm wishin' and a-hopin, oh
That just once those doors weren't locked
(I like to save time for my baby to walk around)
Well I love that dirty water
Oh, Boston, you're my home (oh, yeah)"

They four of them bust out laughing as they grabbed their things and headed out of the park as they sang the last of the song going out.

"Because I love that dirty water
Oh, oh, Boston, you're my home"

"So what did you think of your first Red Sox game?" Tess asked Alex as they walked out of the stadium. "Oh it was great but I was lucky I made it out of there alive. I defiantly learned my lesson not to wear a Yankee hat to Fenway again. I mean I was shocked that the people behind me knocked off my hat and threw it to other people in our section while they chanted Yankee suck.

I mean we weren't even playing the Yankees! Then Next thing know I see some guy gets my hat and tries to burn it with his lighter! While the whole time security is laughing at him.

After that didn't work he throws it to some guy who eventually throws it back to my section and I get my hat back. I am lucky they didn't tar and feather me!" Alex cried as he clutched dearly to his hat.

"That was the funniest thing I ever saw. Your lucky Whitman we are not digging your grave." Chris cried laughing as he and Liz met up with the rest of the group.

"I say we should give the man a medal for his courage and bravery" Paecy said as he patted Alex on the back as everyone laughed.

"I told you it was a matter of life and death here! But honesty what did you think of the game?" Isabel said laughing. "Oh I had a blast at the game! It was so much fun. I have to give you guy’s credit Boston does know how to play." Alex said smiling. "Aw Alex that’s so sweet." Isabel said as she kissed him on the cheek.

"Yeah well this does not make me a fan I will always and forever will be a Yankee. But I am willing to bend the rules one and a while." Alex said grinning as he placed his arm around Isabel.

"Ok so where to now?" Andy said as she looked at her map.

"Well Maria wants to go to Newman Street to do some shopping." Jen said.

"I'll go." Michael said shrugging his shoulders. "Wait you Michael! I thought you hate shopping!" Isabel cried. "I do but they have some awesome record stores there and I want to get more Metallica stuff to add to my collection." Michael smiled.

"Why do I even bother?" Isabel groaned as she rolled her eyes. "Wait you like Metellica?" Maria chimed in. "You know if one more person asks me that I am going to scream.OK Yes I like Metellica. You got a problem with that!" Michael yelled as he looked at Maria.

"NO I like them too!" Maria cried. Michael looked at her stunned. "Wait you like them." Michael said shocked.

"Yes I have seen them in concert for as long as I can remember. I even got to see them in San François when they played with the London symphony orchestra." Maria said smiling.

"I was at that concert as well!" Michael said in shock.

"NO WAY! Wasn't that amazing! What section were you in?"

"Section B fourth row. You?"

"Your joking right? I was in Section B but in the third row!" Maria said as she hit Michael on the shoulder.

"Ok sorry to interrupt this moment between the two of you but some of us want to enjoy today!" Max cried as everyone laughed.

"Alright Michael and Maria are taken care of. Let see I want to do the freedom trail and go for lunch at the north end." Andy said as she looked at her list of places to go.

"Great I will join you." Dawson said excited. "Anyone else?" he said looking at the rest of the group. "The four of us are going to hit the bArs" Alex said in a Boston accent as Isabel, Jen, Jack, Tess, and Kyle cracked up.

"Alright that leaves Joey, Pacey, Chris and Liz." Andy said looking at them.

"Boat Cruise" They said at once as Andy smiled. "Alright we have to meet at Quincy Market by 7 to have dinner at the purple shamrock and see Charlie band play. So set your watches." Andy said as she smiled at everyone as they bid their goodbye and headed towards their destination.

Chris, Liz, Pacey and Joey boarded the Boat as it was about to set sail around the harbor.

They ordered some drinks and found a table in the back as they watched the sunset as the DJ started to play some music.

"You want to dance?" Pacey said looking at Joey. "Sure" Joey said taking his hand as Liz and Chris followed them on to the dance floor.

On sooner were they on the dance floor when they heard a high pitched voice. "Joey" a beach blond bombshell yelled as she ran up and engulfed Joey in a huge hug. "Audrey what are you doing here? I thought you went back to California for the summer?" Joey cried in excitement.

“You didn't hear? I am staying with Charlie. Oh my god it is so good to see you. Hey Pacey you better be taking good care of my roommate or I might just have to hurt you." Audrey said pointing a fingerer at him as she smiled.

"I swear to you Audrey Jo is in good hands. Except there was this one time..." Pacey said laughing as Audrey punched him and smiled. "Good to see you Audrey" Pacey said as he hugged her.

"Chris Liz this is my roommate Audrey." Joey said as she introduced them. "Chris Wolf how long has it been. No call! Not even a letter and to think of all the memories we shared." Audrey said smiling as she hugged him. "Yeah if you consider theater camp memories." Chris said laughing.

"Oh my god I am being so rude. I am Audrey and you are?" Audrey said looking at Liz. "Oh I am Liz Parker. Joey has told me a lot about you. It's nice to finally meet you." Liz said as Audrey hugged her.

"Liz is my girlfriend and is here for the summer staying with me and Isabel because Liz is one of Maria's best friends and Isabel invited Maria to stay with us for the summer along with her friend Alex." Chris said smiling as he kissed Liz on the cheek.

"Wait back up you have a girlfriend I never thought I would see the day! Congrats!" Audrey said surprised as a tall man with shirt blond hair came up behind her. "Audrey there you are." The man said.

"Oh Charlie you know Chris and this is his girlfriend Liz. Joey and Pacey are here as well." Audrey said smiling. "I know I just saw them." Charlie said. "So are you guys coming to the show tonight?" He asked as he looked a Chris and Liz.

"Wouldn't miss it for the world." Chris said beaming. Soon Joey and Pacey joined the group as they danced into the night.

For the rest of the time on the boat Chris was caught up with talking to Charlie and Audrey as Liz left them to talk as she walked around the boat. She sat down and looked on to the city as twilight was settling over the city.

She sighed seeing all of the building and wondered if everyone was enjoying their time. She wished she could of gone on the freedom trail with the rest of the group and pictured them walking along the red cobble stone walk way. The boat was nice however she wished she was back on land and spending time with the rest of the Bostonians.

Soon the cruise was over as the rest of them headed towards The Purple Shamrock for dinner.

"YOU GUYS MADE IT" Alex screamed when he saw the six of them enter.

"Hey Alex." Liz said as they made their way towards the table in the back of the restaurant.

"Charlie Audrey you made it!" Jen said excited as she hugged them as they all exchanged greetings. "Are you ready to rock Alex?" Charlie said looking at him. "Are you kidding I live for this!" He said smiling. "I am glad so Jo will you be singing tonight?" Charlie said looking at her.

"Maybe"

"What Jo you have to we so have to sing together!" Maria cried looking at her a Michael winced and rubbed his ear hearing her sheik. "Ok we will sing." Joey said laughing. Soon everyone was enjoying a relaxing dinner as they all chatted up a storm.

"So how was the freedom trail?" Liz asked as she looked at Max. "It was so much fun. We toured practically the whole city and then we went out to this amazing Italian restaurant that Andy read about you would of loved it." Max said smiling as Liz slightly smiled.

"The cruse was nice however I much would of rather of seen the city but Chris already booked us on it so I had to go." She said as she took a bit of her dinner. "We ran into Audrey and Charlie on the boat which was fun." Liz sighed.

"Oh Liz you missed it. We hit up the Sam Adams brewery it was great free beer and all and then we went to the Cheer bar."

"Were everyone knows your name" Isabel, Jen, Jack, Kyle, and Tess said at once as Alex laughed.

"Yeah we went there for lunch. It was awesome." Alex beamed.

"Wow sounds like you guys had a great time. Liz said looking at Alex.

"Yeah we went to the Cheers Bar as well. That is after we went to the Fleet Center and brought tickets for Metellica in concert in August." Michael said as Maria smiled. "Yeah we were lucky we were able to get them." Maria said as everyone groaned.

"After that Michael showed me around. We went to Boston commons. It was so nice. Liz you would of loved it." Maria said smiling. "I am sure I would of." Liz said as she watched Chris laughing with his friends.

After dinner Alex and Charlie got ready for play as they set up the interments and Alex met the rest of Charlie’s band.

Once they were ready Charlie nodded to his band as he walked up the mic.

"Hi Everyone we have a great show for you tonight so it is my pleasure to introduce the ever so lovely Joey Potter who is gracing us with her presence and for her friend Maria Deluca who is visiting Boston tonight all the way from Roswell New Mexico along with her friend Alex Whitman who will be playing base tonight. Give it up for Joey Maria Alex." Charlie said as he nodded to his band to start playing as everyone clapped as the sound of a base rang through the air as Maria and Joey starting singing Chain of Fools by Aretha Franklin.

Chain, chain, chain
(Chain, chain, chain)
Chain, chain, chain
(Chain, chain, chain)

(Chain...chain...chain..)
(Chain of fools)

Maria then went sole on the verse as she grabbed the mic and walked around the stage.

"Go Maria!" Isabel screamed as she swayed to the music. "That my roommate GO JOEY!" Audrey screamed as her and Isabel danced to the song. Joey and Maria then started to sing as they stood back to back to one another

Joey then walked away and started her solo.

The Maria and Joey took a verse as the switched back and forth.

They then started to both sing as everyone went nuts. "Go ALEX!" Isabel screamed as everyone danced. "Sing it Jo!" Pacey cried as she smiled at him.

"Go Alex and Maria" Liz screamed as she and Chris watched them sing.

Maria then took the last solo as Joey did back up.

Joey and Maria then walked around the stage as they finished the last verse of the song.

The band finished playing as everyone clapped and cheered. "That was amazing." Dawson said as he hugged Joey and Maria as they left the stage. "Wow great job." Liz said as she hugged them.

"Who knew you could sing Blondie." Michael said smiling. "There are a lot of things you don't know about me space boy." Maria said grinning. "Oh really I love to find them out." Michael said raising an eyebrow. "Let me show you." Maria replayed huskily as she grabbed Michael’s shirt as they passionately kissed each other.

"You want to go somewhere?" Michael said breathlessly. "I thought you never ask." Maria said as she engulfed him with another kiss as they went to the back of the bar.

Soon the cords of Alex base guitar rang through the air as the song should I stay or should I go by The Clash rang through the air. As everyone screamed as Charlie spun around and grabbed the mic as he began to sing.

Alex then began to sing as he took the mic and sang as Charlie did the base part as Alex fell to his knees and started singing to Isabel as she laughed and blushed at his antics.

Alex said as he stood up and started to play again as the band started to break out and rock as all started to head bang to the music.

As Charlie sang.

They all jammed to the music as they danced around the stage and then stopped as Charlie started to sing. As the band sang the parts in Spanish.

Charlie continued to sing as the rest of the band sang the parts in Spanish

The band played as Charlie then grabbed the mic and sang "Split" and did a split on stage as everyone went crazy. Charlie then hopped up and started to sing as the rest of the band did back up as everyone went wild.

The last cords played as everyone cheered as everyone yelled and screamed as the band smiled.

"Thanks guys you are an awesome crowed tonight. Here is another one for you all from Boston as Charlie and his band started to play love that dirty water (Boston your my home) by the Standells.

Everyone danced to the music. "Isabel do you know where Michael is?" Max asked as he tapped Isabel on the shoulder. "No idea. Why?" she asked looking at him. "I have to get a bus back to capeside from South Station. I promised the Ice Box a while back that I would work so I can't room with Michael tonight in the hotel." Max said looking at his watch.

"I will let him know. Are you sure you can't stay?" Isabel said looking at him. "I would love to but I can't they are shot one person so I have to work." Max sighed. "Alright I will let him know. Have a safe trip back." Isabel said smiling as she hugged her brother good bye as Max left to make his way to South Station.

The band finished the song as everyone cheered. For the rest of the night Charlie’s band rocked they Purple Shamrock as everyone danced to the music.

"Alright you guys this is the last one for the night so I give you Maria Deluca who will close out the night. Enjoy!" Charlie said as he made his way to the piano as Maria nodded to them to say she was ready as she started to sing Since I Fell For You by Bonnie Rabbit.

Maria sang as the band started to play the slow melody as everyone started to dance.

"Chris do you want to dance?" Liz said as Chris talked to Audrey and Jack. "Maybe later." he said looking at her and smiled as he went back to talking to Audrey and Jack.

My life has been such misery and pain.

Liz sighed as she watched the band play as Maria sang. As she started to make her way towards Michael and rubbed her hand along his face as she sang.

Well it's too bad, and it's too sad,
that I'm in love with you ...

Liz then looked around a Tess and Kyle who were dancing and Jen and Dawson as they swayed to the music. She then turned back to Maria who was still seducing Michael and then she looked at Joey and Pacey as they danced and smiled as they looked into one another’s eyes.

I guess I'll never see the light.
I get these blues most every night,
since I fell for you ...

Liz smiled at her friend and then turned towards Chris who was still talking to Audrey and Jack.

Well it's too bad, and it's too sad,
that I'm in love with you...

Maria then hit a high note as Charlie worked his magic on the keys as she sang. Finally Chris finished his conversation and walked over to Liz as the song played on.

Maria was now on top of the piano as she sang the song to Charlie as the last of the cords echoed through the place.

Everyone clapped and cheered as Maria and Alex along with Charlie’s band took a bow.

"Chris do you dream of me?" Liz said as she turned and looked at Chris who was watching the band.

"What yeah I guess." He said looking at her before turning back to the band.

Liz watched as the band started to back up as everyone started to leave.

"Chris am I your eternity?" Liz said looking up at him. "Liz what are you talking about. I think you had enough to drink for one night." Chris said as he turned back to the action.

Liz stood there as she watched the people pass her by as she looked up to the empty stage. She then left Chris and ran up the Maria. "Liz did you like the show?" Maria beamed.

"Yes I loved it." Liz said smiling. "Oh my god did you see my up there Charlie is the sweetest guy the whole thing at the end was his idea and..."

"Maria" Liz said cutting her off from her rambling. "I don't feel so good. So I am catching a bus back to capeside. I am fine so you and the others enjoy your weekend ok." Liz said looking into Maria's eyes.

"OK. Liz are you alright?" Maria said concerned. "Yes I am fine I just need some time to myself that’s all." Liz said looking up at her.

"I hear ya. Enjoy. I will see you on Monday. Safe trip." Maria said as she hugged her.

With in a half and hour Liz was on a bus heading home to Capside. As the bus road along the highway. It was late by the time Liz reached Capeside so she called a cab to take her home.

She arrived at the house, paid the cab driver and walked up to the huge house. When she entered the house it was dark except for the light from the moon that shinned its sliver light along the hallway.

"Liz" she heard a voice call to her as a figure approached her.

"It was you the notes, the roses, the dreams. How could I of been so blind. It was you the whole time." Liz said as Max's face shown in the moonlight.

"I'm your eternity." Liz whispered in shock as she looked up at him.

Max then tucked a piece of hair behind her ear and looked deep into her eyes. "Liz...I love you." Max said softly.

"I love you" Liz whispered as she looked deep into his eyes.

Max then cupped Liz’s face in his hands as they kissed each other passionately as tears filled their eyes as they held each other close in the darkness of the night.

Hi Everyone,

My weekend in NYC was awesome. It was great going to the Tribeca Film Festival. However the movie we were going to go and see Aurora Borealis staring Joshua Jackson was sold out I heard it was really good. So I am hoping it makes it to Boston's Film Festival in September or makes it to DVD. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Either then that I had a blast in the city with Jennifer aka Dreamer 4 Ever and Crystal aka Jasons Lover 4 Life as well as my 2 friends Christine and Karen (Who are roswellians as well.) we all went out to dinner at Applebee's, got coffee at Starbucks, and toured around Tribeca and Battery Park right by the water. It was awesome!

Chapter Forty One

Their mouths melted together as they pressed each other close enjoying the feel of their lips on one another. The kiss was gentle and sweet yet passionate and demanding all at once as they held each other close like they were the most precious thing in the world.

Their mouths dueled with one another as their desire and passion grew as Max threaded his fingers through Liz's hair.

"This is a dream." Max whispered in the darkness when they broke from their kiss. "It is quite real." Liz said looking up into his golden eyes.

"What are you doing here?" Max said softly as he looked at Liz. "For some reason something in my heart was telling me to come back to Capside." Liz whispered. "Well I am glad you did." Max said smiling.

"Why are you here? Shouldn’t you be in Boston?" Liz said surprised as she looked at him. "I have to work tomorrow. They were short a person and needed me to cover for them."

"Lucky for them." Liz whispered as she engulfed Max with a kiss. "Do you want to go up stairs?" Max whispered into her ear. "Yes" Liz groaned as her eye lids fluttered from the pleasure he was causing on her body.

He then grabbed her hand as they went up the stairs. Once they were in Max's room he placed Liz down on to the bed as he attacked her mouth.

"You’re so beautiful" he whispered as Liz threaded her fingers through his hair. "I love you. I love you so much." Max whispered as he placed kissed along Liz's face as tears fell from her eyes.

Max then placed a hand under Liz's head as his other hand started to move up her shirt. She gasped feeling his hand on her bear skin as she kissed him hard with as much love and passion as she could.

"I love you" Liz whispered as she cupped his face with her hand as she kissed him. Liz then shifted up on to the bed as Max followed her as she hugged him. Max felt his heart burst at that moment when he saw the glow that Alex was talking about shin in her eyes.

It was so beautiful as it flicked it's light of love inside the depths of her eyes showing him the depths of her soul leading him into the depth of her heart where all he saw was pure love shinning through for him and him alone.

"I thought I lost you" Max whispered into her ear as they held each other close. "You never lost me." Liz whispered as she whipped a tear that fell from her eye.

"I was so confused and scared. Chris told me he loved me. But I couldn't say I love you back. I always loved you from the moment I saw you I knew. I just was so scared as to what I was feeling that I did nothing about it.

I was so blind and selfish. I feel horrible for how I treated you. I thought Chris was the one for me when every fiber of my being told me it was you. I love you and I don't know why I hardly know you yet I feel like I have known you my whole life." Liz said softly as she looked deep into Max's eyes.

"I feel in love with you the moment I saw you. Don’t blame yourself Liz. Your here with me now. I can't describe it maybe it was fate that we meet." Max said looking at her.

"Or destiny I mean why else would I come home to capside only to find you here. It must mean something." Liz said as she kissed him softly. Max closed his eyes as he felt Liz's lips against his. He loved the taste of her and couldn't get enough as he deepened their kiss.

They feel back on to the bed as their tongs duel as they held each other close.

"Max um there is something you need to know about me." Liz said breathlessly as they broke from their kiss. Liz then bit her lower lip and looked deep into his eyes. "Um how do I begin this is so embarrassing but I'm a virgin. In every aspect of the word. I know me a virgin and while call me a prude or think there is something wrong with me I don't care. I made a pack with myself a long time ago that I was going to wait.

It's not that I don't want to; I just am not ready to have a child if I get pregnant or god forbid get an STD or something like that. I mean sex is huge responsibility and a huge step that I am just not ready for and..." Liz was rambling at this point which caused Max to laugh.

"What’s so funny?" Liz said looking up at him concerned. "Nothing. If it makes you feel any better I am one as well." Max said looking down at her.

"What!" Liz said in shock. "Yes I know what you think how I can be one with the rep my brother has but I am not like my brother. I mean I don't care if people think of me as not being a man. I think it makes me more of a man because I am waiting until I am ready. So I understand where you are coming from." Max said as he rubbed her arm and kissed her on the forehead.

"Thanks" Liz said smiling. "So what do you want to do?" Liz said looking up into Max's eyes.

"Well you know we do have the whole house to ourselves and it would be a shame to waste such an opportunity for us to be alone." Max said raising an eye brow.

"Well what do you have in mind" Liz said cloyingly as she sat up.

"I am thinking you me and a hot tub under the stars." Max said grinning.

"mmm that sounds wonderful." Liz sighed.

"Good now get changed. I will see you downstairs." Max said as he kissed Liz one last time before she left his room.

"That club rocked!" Jack beamed as the group made their way back to the hotel.

"Yeah Izz I can't believe you remember the dance from the video from the song 'Everybody' by the Backstreet Boys!" Tess cried.

"Oh come on Tess you remember how we used to dance to them back in the day. I practically burned a hole in that CD I listened to it all the time. Those boys had it going on!" Isabel said smiling.

"Personally I was an N'Sync fan.My first concert ever was N'Sync. But I always liked the Backstreet Boys as well! I must have seen both groups in concert like a hundread times back in LA" Audrey cried with excitement.

"Oh and who could forget 98 Degrees! I loved them!" Jen chimed in as everyone laughed.

"Ok I hate to break up this Boy Band Reunion but where is Liz?" Alex asked as he looked around.

"Oh she wasn't feeling well so she took a bus back to Capeside." Maria said looking at Alex.

"Is she ok?" Chris asked concerned. "Yes Chris don't worry she is fine. She said not to worry and let us enjoy our time in Boston. We will see her on Monday." Maria said as she walked with Michael.

"OK but I am going to call her just to make sure." Chris said as he flipped open his cell phone and dialed Liz's number. He held it up to his ear as it rang waiting to hear his voice.

"Hi Liz" Chris said hearing her voice however it was only her voice mail that picked up. He waited until her heard a beep telling him he could start recording.

"Hi Liz its Chris. I just wanted to make sure you got back to Capeside alright. Look I feel horrible with how I acted tonight I am so sorry I gave you the cold shoulder at the bar. I just hadn't seen Audrey and everyone in a while but that’s no excuse. I feel horrible. I am so sorry. I hope you feel better. I love you." Chris sighed softy as he sent the message and clicked off his phone.

The group then checked into the hotel and made there way towards their rooms. "Party in room 203 if you guys want to come" Alex yelled as he and Kyle entered their room.

Isabel, Tess, Jen, Jack and Andy,Charlie, and Audery entered Alex room. "Maria are you coming? Party all night?" Alex grinned. "Thanks Alex Michael and I might stop by later." Maria said as she held Michaels hand.

"Alright. Have fun." Alex said as he wiggled his eye brows up and down laughing.

"We will see you later Alex have fun guys." Joey, Pacey, Chris and Dawson said as they made their way towards Pacey and Dawson's room.

Inside of Alex room Tess set up her radio as she placed her CD into the player soon the sounds of the Backstreet Boys 'Everybody' started blasting throughout the room.

"Everybody rock your body

Tess and Isabel started singing and dancing around the room as everyone started dancing and jumping on the beds as they party into the we hours of the night.

Once Liz was dressed she then went outside to find the hot tub surrounded by lit candles.

"This looks amazing" Liz sighed as Max stepped outside in his black bathing suit holding two glasses and a bottle of wine. "Thanks I try" He said shyly as he placed the glasses and bottle down. Liz was wearing her black bikini and looked breathtaking as her long flowing hair framed her face and fell long her back as Max walked up to her.

He then kissed her. "We match" Liz said laughing as Max smiled seeing they were wearing the same color. "I guess we do" he said smiling. He then and took hold of her hand as they entered into the hot tub.

They sat down as Max wrapped Liz in his arms as the heat and water swirled around them. Liz sighed as she snuggled closer to him as the heated water relaxed her body.

"Do you want anything to drink?" Max asked as he looked down at her and smiled. "Sure" Liz said as she kissed him. Max then handed Liz her glass as he poured them selves some wine.

"To my dream" Max smiled as he looked at Liz. "To finding you." Liz said as they clinked their glasses and drank the sweet liquid as they watched the stars.

Max then placed both of there glasses on the edge of the pool. As he turned and started attacking Liz's mouth as she cried in delight. "Max" Liz said surprised by his passion and desire as he held her close and made love to her mouth.

"Liz I've waited this long let me just enjoy you for once." He said huskily as he placed kisses along her collar bone as Liz closed her eyes enjoying the feeling of his lips along her neck. Max then placed his hand through her hair as he cupped her face while his other hand held her close to him.

Liz threaded her hands through his hair and rubbed he nape of Max's neck as she deeper her kiss as she leaned back granting him more access to her lips and body as her back hit the wall of the hot tub.

Max then took hold of Liz's hand as he kissed her finger tips as Liz sighed feeling his mouth along the palms of her hand. He had the most amazing kisses in the world as he continued to kiss and devour her fingers with a sweetness of love as Liz looked deep into his eyes as he placed her hand into his as she kissed him.

Max then started to kiss his way up Liz's arm as she shiver in delight no one ever made her feel this way as she closed her eyes enjoying the pleasure that was pulsating through her body. "Max" She sighed as he made his way up her shoulder with sweet kisses.

"You are so beautiful." He murmured as he kissed along her neck. "Please Max I" she knew that if he continued his assault on her that she all the will power she had left in her would be gone as her desire to be with him grew more and more.

Max then moved up her neck and nibbled on her ear causing Liz to moan as he kissed her ear. "I love you" He whispered into her ear softly as he then captured her lips in a heated and passionate kiss.

They both broke painting as they tried to catch their breath. "Max what’s happening?" Liz said trying to figure things out as she looked deep into our eyes.

"I don't know. But all I know is that it feels right." Max whispered as he tucked a piece of hair behind her ear and smiled. Liz then smiled and kissed him softly. "I think we should get ready for bed." Liz whispered.

"Yeah?" Max said softly as he looked at her and raising and eye brow.

"Yeah" Liz said softly as they smiled at each other and got out of the hot tub.

They both then took separate showers and got ready for bed. "I like your bed better so I think I am going to stay here tonight." Liz said as she entered Max's room.

Max nearly died when he saw what she was wearing. She was wearing a pair of dark red silk pajama bottoms and a dark red silk tank top. It wasn't anything special but she looked sexy as hell in it as Max blinked his eyes in shock when he saw her.

Liz then made her way to Max's bed and lay down on it and she looked up at him. Max was shirtless and in his boxers as her eyes scanned his body as she bit her lower lip.

"Do you have any idea as to how sexy you look when do you that?" Max groaned as he looked at her.

"Really" Liz said batting her eyes innocently as she looked up at him.

"Yes it drives me crazy! I swear your going to be the death of me!" Max sighed in frustration.

Liz laughed as Max quickly pulled a t-shirt on and climbed onto the bed next to her.

"So what did you tell everyone when you left Boston?" Max asked as he turned to face her on the bed.

"I told Maria that I wasn't feeling well and not to worry about me but for everyone to enjoy their time and that I would see them on Monday." Liz said as she threaded her hands through Max's hair.

"Do you think Chris will come home?" Max asked concerned. “I dough it. He was too caught up in his own world to even notice me. I knew the relationship was going down hill and tonight confirmed that. Even if he does come home I don't care. I love you that’s all that matters." Liz said as she kissed Max.

Max then threaded his fingers through Liz's hair. "We have tonight that’s all that matters." Liz said as she wrapped her leg around Max and straddled him as she kissed him. "mmm this defiantly beats Boston." Max sighed as he wrapped his arms around Liz as they made out.

Max then turned Liz onto her back as he hovered over her as he kissed her. He then buried his head against her chest causing Liz to squirm underneath him as she laughed.

"Max." Liz said in defense as he lifted his head and looked into her eyes.

"Liz" he said smiling as he looked up at her.

"Look Mr. Evans I told you about where I stand. I would hope that a man of your nature would show some respect." Liz smirked playfully as she looked into Max's eyes.

"Oh I will be very respectful. Scots honor." Max as he held up his hand vowing his intentions to her.

"I just want to play with you." He said giving her an evil sexy grin as he lowered himself and started to move the fabric of her shirt up so that her bear stomach was showing.

"Max!" Liz said in shock until she felt him place soft kisses along her stomach as she closed her eyes. "Max" She sighed feeling the new sensation of his lips against a new area of her skin.

"Now what was that Liz?" Max said smirking as he continued to place butterfly kisses along her stomach as Liz sighed. He then stopped and looked up at her and smiled. Liz looked down at him and sighed as he moved up closer to her.

She then kissed him as Max pulled the covers over them. Liz snuggled close to him breathing in the sent of him as she sighed in content. It felt like home being next to him again.

"It feels so good being in the same bed with you again." Max whispered as he kissed Liz passionately.

"Yes it does. At least we won't have to wake up to Metellica" Liz said as her and Max laughed.

"Way to kill a romantic moment Parker." Max said laughing.

"Well if you’re nice enough I might just give you something you have been fantasizing about for months now." Liz said seductively.

"Really!" Max said in shock as his eyes bulged from their sockets as his cheeks turned red.

"Well that is only if you are good." Liz purred as she batted her eye lashes.

"Oh I can be good" Max said grinning in excitement.

"Good then you’re just going to have to dream about it. Good night" Liz said as she rolled on to her side as Max groaned.

Liz then turned to face Max and laughed. "Come here" Liz whispered as Max moved closer to her. She then closed her eyes and kissed him on the forehead before she hugged him.

"You are the most amazing person I have ever met. Thank you for everything and for being you." Liz said softly as she gazed into Max's eyes. "Thank you for being you. I love you Liz." Max whispered as he kissed her on the fore head.

"I love you too. Good night Max." Liz sighed as she closed her eyes and snuggled in close to him. "Good night Liz." Max said as he held her close in the darkness of the night.

Please it is a serious offense you can get severely punished banned from a website or even gets kicked out of college it is that serious! So please please if you are thinking about doing it please don't!

It is really hurtful to the person you are stealing ideas and stories from. So please no matter what please cite all your work!!! My professors are constantly stressing the importance of this!! So please give credit where credit is due!!!

I know that everyone is creative so no matter how much you think your idea might not be good give it a try. You never know until you try but don't take the cheap or easy way out and steal someone else idea because you think your idea is not good enough.

I am happy and proud to say all my ideas are original! It feels good saying that knowing that I didn't cheat or steal others ideas to create a story. Most of my ideas come from life experiences (mostely good) while others I have no idea where they come sometimes little things get my mind going and I just have to write. I even surprise myself sometimes with the ideas that do come to me.

I guess I just love writing and getting into the heads of characters to figure out who they are and why they feel that way. Over all I hope to be a writer someday. We shall see.

So that’s my rant sorry I just wanted to say how I felt.

Chapter Forty Two

Liz snuggled closer to her pillow as she pulled the covers closer to her as Max leaned over and placed kisses along her neck. "Morning" she sighed as she opened her eyes and looked up at him.

"Morning" Max said as he continued to place kisses along her neck as he held her close. "Mmm I wish I could wake up every morning this way." Liz sighed as she pulled the warm covers closer to her.

"Me too" Max murmured as he snuggled in closer to her breathing in the sent of her hair as he ran his fingers through it.

"What time is it" Liz said sleepily. "It's about nine." Max said as he glanced at the clock. Liz sighed as she held her pillow close as she closed her eyes.

"You sleep I am making breakfast." Max said as he got up from the bed. "What no you don't have to do that." Liz said in protest as she sat up in bed.

"No it's fine besides you have yet to experience the Evans touch when it comes to cooking." Max smiled as he looked at her.

"Well if it was anything like last night I can already tell I like your touch when you’re touching me." Liz said seductively as she batted her eyes.

"Alright that’s it." Max said as he jumped on to the bed and started attacking Liz with kisses as he tickled her. "Stop please stop." Liz cried as she squirmed to get away. "OK Ok I surrender." Liz said breathlessly as she laughed.

"Good I was hoping you would say that." Max whispered as he captured her mouth with a deep and passionate kiss.

"That will give you sweet dreams. Now go back to bed. I will be back with breakfast." Max smiled as Liz snuggled back under the covers sighing in content.

"Will you quite eating off my plate Tess" Kyle said as the group ate breakfast at a local diner.

"You know you love it." Tess said laughing as she took another bit of Kyle’s eggs.

"Oh yeah I love being hungry all the time." Kyle said sighing as he rolled his eyes.

"Tess I have to say you are an awesome DJ last night rocked. I am surprised they didn't kick us out with all of the noise complaints we got. That was classic when the night guard barged into the room just as we were jumping on the bed." Alex said laughing.

"Oh my god the look on his face was classic." Isabel grinned as she drank more of her coffee.

"No but the best was when you started playing the New Kids On The Block CD. Talk about a flashback to the 90's." Audrey said as her and Charlie cracked up.

"What I have to give the original boy band from Boston credit when we are in their home town." Tess said laughing.

"I swear I think the night guard must have thought we were on drugs with the way we were jumping around and so full of energy." Charlie laughed as he finished up his pancakes.

"Glad I missed the bubble gum pop party." Michael grumbled as he drank the rest of his coffee. "Oh you love it Micky G. this is coming from the guy who was tearing up the club last night." Tess said laughing as Michael gave her a death stare.

"Aw leave Space boy alone." Maria said as she wrapped her arm around him.

"So what did you guys do last night?" Pacey asked as he looked at Maria and Michael. "Oh won't you like to know." Maria said laughing. "Actually sci-fi was having an X Files marathon so we watched it." Maria said smiling.

"OK how can you watch The X Files and not Alias. It doesn’t make sense they are both spy’s who work for the CIA." Alex said in shock.

"It's the FBI and for your information and as far as I'm concerned nothing beats Mulder and Scully uncovering the truth about Aliens not to mention the sexual tension between the two." Maria said in defense.

"Vaughn and Sydney had sexual tension all through season one. At least they did something about it. Mulder and Scully didn't even kiss or even get it on." Isabel chimed in.

"Oh I beg to differ remember in The X Files movie they almost kind of kissed. That’s right we had a movie. What did Alias have?" Michael said in defense.

"Marshal" Alex and Isabel said as they burst into laughter.

"OK and for your information there was one episode where it is questionable that Mulder and Scully had sex because they wake up in a hotel room together. Personally I think they go it on." Maria said looking at Alex.

"Nothing like Alien sex." Michael said chiming in.

"Mulder wasn't an alien?" Alex said looking at the two of them. "Well that is still questionable. But I think he was." Maria said as she shipped her coffee.

"You’re weird Maria I will never get you. You can't appreciate a show like Alias yet you will watch The X Files." Alex said shacking his head.

"One day you will cross over on to the dark side." Isabel said smiling.

"Until then may the force be with you." Alex said holding up his hand as everyone laughed.

"Wow now it's all making sense as to why you are Xander Harris's cousin. It must be genetic." Chris said laughing as Alex smiled. "Got to love family." Alex said beaming.

"Oh I can't wait to see the fireworks tonight." Jen beamed as they walked through the streets of Boston. "Yeah there’s nothing like seeing them along the Charles River. You guys are going to love them." Jack beamed as they walked along the cobbled stone streets.

"Any word from Liz?" Chris asked Maria once the group was outside. "No nothing relax Chris I am sure she is in good hands. Let’s just enjoy tonight." Maria said smiling at him if only Maria knew just whose hands Liz was in at that moment.

"Just any man?" Max said raising an eye brow as he looked at her. "No only the tall dark and very handsome ones." Liz said as she kissed him. "Thank you this was wonderful." Liz smiled as her and Max finished breakfast in bed.

"Your welcome I am glad you liked it. So am I better then Michael and Pacey with cooking?"

"Oh much better. I could get used to this." Liz smiled. "Don't push your luck Parker. This is a once and a life time thing." Max smirked.

"Ok fine then I will sleep over Michael’s I am sure he would be more then willing to fulfill my needs." Liz said as she got up out of Max's bed.

"Aw that hurts Liz. You would go behind my back with my best friend all for food that’s low really low. You cut me deep Liz." Max said placing his hand over his chest as he winced in pain.

"Well I am sorry but I have standards." Liz smirked as Max smiled. "Oh don't worry I will be more then willing to fulfill those standards and fulfill all of your needs if you let me." Max said seductively as he looked at him.

"Really and how would you know what I want?" Liz said looking at him as he got out of bed and walked towards her.

"I know you want me to hold you close." Max said as he placed an arm around her waist. "I know you want me to thread my fingers through your hair." Max said as he threaded his fingers through Liz's hair.

"I know you want me to whisper how much I love you into your ear." Max whispered softy into Liz’s ear.

"And I know how deep down you want me to make sweet love to you but I also know the one thing that you want that drives you crazy is me making love to your mouth." Max said as he passionately kissed Liz causing her moan as she pressed herself against him as she felt her knees buckle as if she was going to fall as she melted into him.

Their tongs dueled as they deepened their kiss as their desire and passion grew. The pleasure both of them was feeling was electrifying as they breathing became shallow as their hearts felt like they were going to burst as they pounded hard in their chests.

They broke from the kiss breathless and looked deep into each others eyes. "Wow" was all Liz managed to say still in aw as to what she just felt.

"Yeah." Max said softly as he looked at her. "Get dressed there is somewhere I want to take you." Max said smiling as he looked at her glowing eyes.

With in an hour both of them had showered and got dressed as Liz went downstairs to find Max inside his father’s office. "So are you ready to go?" Max said looking at Liz who was dressed in a green summer dress.

"Sure. Wow I have never been in this room before." She said as her eyes scanned the room. "It's my father’s office." Max said looking at her as she stared at the old family photos.

"Who was this?' Liz said as she pointed towards a black and white photo hanging on the wall. "Oh that’s my Grandpa Zander Evans." Max said as he stood next to her.

"Wow he was handsome. I can see where you get your good looks from." Liz said as she stared at the picture of the man in front of her. "Who's the woman with him?" Liz asked as she saw a woman smiling next to him.

"That was his wife Victoria Lingard." Max said looking up at the picture. "Wow she was beautiful." Liz whispered as she looked deep into the woman’s eyes.

"She was a rare beauty my grandfather used to call her. It's surprising that they actually got married." Max slightly smiled as he looked at the photo. "What do you mean?" Liz asked as she turned to look at him.

"You see Zander Evans was a member of the gold cost. So his family was huge when it came to high society. He could have had any girl he wanted. His parents had set up an arranged marriage for him to an Ava Crane. The Cranes were members of the high society circle and very well known and the Evans were good friends with the Cranes so it was to be a match made in heaven.

That is until the day my Grandpa set out for England. He was going to the University of Oxford and so one night he went to a party and he meet Victoria Lingard sitting by the piano.

My Grandfather said it was love at first sight. He told me that when their eyes locked for the first time he knew she was the one. They danced the whole night and afterwards they toured the whole city and watched the sun rise along the London Bridge. My Grandfather was quite the romantic. So anyway he brings her home and his parents are furious because she is not a member of high society and that he was engaged to Ava.

However my grandpa didn't care and said he was going to marry Victoria whether they liked it or not. He broke off the engagement with Ava against his parents wishes. From what I hear she was more then happy to call it off. However my Grandfathers parents were furious and said how could he marry a commoner who from England.

So they married in secret over in England afterwards there was nothing my great grandparents could do. Eventually they learned to love her and they had a proper wedding in the states and well the rest is history." max said looking at the photo of his grandparents at their wedding.

"Wow talk about a love story. Their lucky it worked out. That’s an amazing story" Liz said looking at the photo.

"If there is one thing I learned from my Grandpa Evans it's to follow your heart and know that anything is possible." Max said as he looked at the photo and smiled.

"He sounds like an interesting man. You two must have been close.” Liz said looking up at Max. "Yes he was and Victoria was an amazing woman." Max said looking at the photo.

"She seems like she was. They look so happy and in love." Liz said smiling as she looked at the wedding photo.

"Oh they were. A love like that is so rare to find. They were still very much in love even when they were old. You would have thought they met yesterday. The way they looked at each other their was so much love in their eyes. I should be so lucky to find a love like that." Max sighed as he looked at the photo.

"I hope to find that as well." Liz sighed as she took hold of Max's hand as they looked at the photo of the couple who stared back at them like a mirror image of themselves.

"Are you ready to go" Max said looking into Liz's eyes. "Yes" Liz said smiling back as she looked into his eyes as they walked hand in hand out of the house and into the bright summer day.

Chapter Forty Three

The group for the rest of the day walked around Boston taking in all of the sights before they set up camp along the Charles River to watch the Fireworks.

"It's so nice out" Isabel said as she lay out in her lawn chair soaking up the sun's rays.

"Yeah who wants to play extreme Frisbee?" Kyle cried with excitement.

"Oh count me in!" Charlie cried. "Sounds good to me." Alex beamed.

"Alright I will play as well. But if I mess up my outfit you are all dead!" Audrey said shrugging her shoulders as everyone laughed.

"Jo, Maria are you playing?" Dawson yelled to them from across the way.

Joey looked up from her book and looked at the group. "Sure why not Hemingway can wait." She said closing her book and joined the group on the grassy knoll.

"Yeah I guess I will play." Maria said as her and Michael joined the group.

"Chris you coming?" Pacey chimed in as he looked at Chris.

"Yeah in a minute." Chris said flipping open his cell phone to check his messages. His voice mail was empty so he decided to dial the all too familiar number. When he got no answer he left a voice mail.

"Liz its Chris I just wanted to make sure you are ok. Give me a call back when you get a chance. I love you. Bye." Chris said as he sent the message and flipped his phone closed before he joined the group.

"Ok we need to pick teams" Tess said looking at everyone.

"Ok Charlie and I will be captains" Jack said as the two of them stood up.

"Alright I will start Joey" Charlie said as Joey stood behind him.

"Kyle" Jack said as Kyle stood behind him.

"Jen"

"Andie"

"Alex" Charlie said as Alex joined Jen and Joey.

The two continued to pick teams until everyone was picked. The teams went like this on Charlie’s it was Joey, Jen, Alex, Pacey, Andy, and Chris. While Jacks team consisted of Dawson, Michael, Maria, Audery, Kyle, and Tess.

"Aright we need team names." Jack said as his group started throwing ideas out.

"Izz you playing?" Alex asked looking at her. "No I will be the cheerleader for you guys. I will play next game." Isabel said smiling as she put on her sun glasses.

"Alright. We have it team Death Star vs. The Gladiators" Charlie said smiling.

"Ok team Gladiators huddle up." Jack said as the group got together.

"Team Death Star this way." Alex cried.

"Nice Star War reference Alex. I am sure the force will be with you. Have an exciting game" Isabel laughed.

"Adventure? Excitment? A Jedi craves none of these things?" Alex said laughing as he ran over to his team as Isabel shook her head and smiled.

Max and Liz made their way into town as Max drove his jeep along the sea's cost line.

"Max don't you have work?" Liz said concerned as they drove down the highway.

"I do. I thought maybe you would want to come to work with me. I promise it will be fun." Max said smiling as he glanced at her before he turned his gaze towards the road.

"I am sure it will be." Liz said as she took hold of Max's free hand and held it.

The drove until they reached the Ice Box as Max parked his jeep in the parking lot. He then got out and opened Liz's door for her as they made their way towards the pier.

"Oh hey Max glad you made it." A man said smiling as he jumped off from one of the boats and on to the docks.

"Vincent this is Liz Parker she is here to help out as well." Max said as Liz shook hands with Vincent. "Great we could use an extra pair of hands around here today. We have a huge shipment coming in. Liz do you know anything about unloading lobster traps?" he said looking at her.

"Yeah I think I can manage just as long as I am not eating them. I am allergic to them but I think a few traps I can handle." She said smiling.

"Great. Welcome aboard." Vincent said taking her hand as he helped her onto the boat.

For the rest of the day Max and Liz helped unload the boats that came into port and waited tables at the Icebox.

"You know we should name one and have it as our pet." Liz said as she placed a lobster into the tank at the Icebox.

"What are you crazy?" Max said looking at her as Liz looked at the tank. "Well they are so cute. I mean its ashame they have to be eaten. Can't we name one of them?" Liz said as she looked up at Max.

"You’re weird." Max said laughing as he grabbed another lobster to place into the tank. "No come on. This one is cute. I am thinking of calling him Sebastian what do you think?" Liz said as she grabbed hold of one of the rubber band tied claws and held it in her fingers.

"No I am thinking he is more of a Larry." Max said as he looked at the Lobster and then at Liz. "Larry the lobster. No how about Leroy? Do you like that name?" Liz said looking at the lobster.

The lobster then squirmed in Max's hand. "Whoa easy fella" Max said as he tightened his grip on him. "I guess Leroy it is." Liz said laughing. "I guess so." Max said laughing. Max then placed Leroy back into the lobster trap.

"Max what are you doing?" Liz said as she looked at him with questioning eyes.

"Don't tell Vincent but later we will set him free." Max whispered into her ear. "Really!" Liz said as her eyes glowed in excitement. "Yeah but we have to keep quite about it. Vincent will kill me if we are caught." He said in a low voice.

"Ok I know how to keep a secret." Liz whispered as she continued to place the rest of the lobsters back into the tank.

It was 7 by the time Max and Liz finished work. "Thanks guys for all of your help. Just place the traps on the boat. I will lock up." Vincent said smiling as he closed up the Icebox.

Max and Liz took the lobster traps back onto the boat and when Vincent wasn't looking they took the trap with Leroy in it.

"Can I hold him?" Liz said as she looked at Leroy in his trap. "Sure." Max said as he opened up the lobster trap and handed Liz Leroy.

"Hi Leroy the Lobster." Liz said as she held the creature as it squirmed in her arms as she laughed. She was beautiful when she laughed and looked breathtaking holding the lobster as her eyes glowed. As Max stood there in aw as to how beautiful she looked at that moment.

"Wait I have to get a picture of this." Max said as he grabbed his bag and got his camera out. "You know I never held a lobster before. Coming from Roswell we don’t get to do things like this." Liz said smiling as she held Leroy. Max then took a picture of Liz holding on to the lobster.

"Wait can I get one of you with him as well." Liz said as she handed Max the lobster in exchange for the camera. "Aw that’s so cute." Liz said as she took a photo of him.

"Wait lets get one of the two of us." Liz said as she held the camera out in front of her as her and Max shushed together laughing as they held the lobster and took the picture. Liz then looked at the back of the digital camera to see if the picture came out.

"Aw it came out perfect." Liz said smiling as she showed Max the picture. He laughed when he saw the picture. "Wow I can't wait to get these developed." He smiled.

"OK I think we better let this little guy go back to the sea." Max said looking at the lobster.

"OK. Leroy it's time to go home. I hope you enjoyed your time on the land." Liz said as she patted the lobster on the head. Max then carefully cut the rubber bands off of the lobster’s craws as Leroy stated to clamp at the open air once his claws were free.

"Bye little guy." Max said as he started to place him into the water. "Wait we should make a wish before you throw him back to the sea." Liz said softly. "OK." Max said as they both closed their eyes. In a few seconds they opened them as Max let Leroy the lobster back into the sea.

"Bye Leroy" Liz said as she waved the lobster goodbye as they watched the tied take him away.

"Thanks for taking me to work. I had fun today." Liz beamed. "Well the day is not over yet. We still have to celebrate the fourth of July." Max said as they climbed into Max's jeep and made their way back home.

"Come on batter, batter, batter" Kyle said as Charlie threw a curve ball as Alex swung.

"Aw Home Run Whitman!" Jack yelled as they ball flew high in the sky as Alex ran around the bases as the music to Ray Charles 'America The Beautiful' played through out the park.

"Well after the Death Star was defeated in Frisbee. We had to get you guys back!" Alex said as he sat down with the rest of the group.

"Come on I will show you how to throw a curve ball." Isabel said as she got up and took the ball from Charlie. "Hit me with your best shot." Alex smirked as Isabel threw the ball over hand and hit Kyle's baseball glove.

"Damn Woman you nearly killed me!" Alex cried in shock as Kyle rubbed his hand. "And to think you are a girl!" Kyle said in shock. "Yeah well I learned to throw the ball the right way none of this underhand stuff. I could take on any guy any day." Isabel said smiling.

"Really can you take me on?" Alex said grinning. "You couldn't handle it Whitman!" Isabel smirked. "Oh I think I could" Alex grinned as Isabel kissed him hard.

"Aw will you too get a room" Chris said annoyed as he sighed in frustration. He still hadn't heard from Liz and was starting to get annoyed as he watched his sister in a lip lock with Alex.

"Aw cheer up Chris." Jen smiled as Chris gave her a death stare. "Don't start with me Lindley!" He fumed as he walked off from the group.

Max and Liz had made their way home and gotten cleaned up for their night on the town. "Wow you look amazing!" Max said as Liz emerged in a multicolored red and pink sundress.

"Thanks you look pretty amazing yourself." Liz beamed as she kissed him. Max was dressed in a dark black suit with a navy blue shirt complete with a matching navy blue tie that brought out his amber eyes.

"Are you ready to see some fireworks?" Max asked as he took hold of her hand. "I thought I already did." Liz whispered smiling as they made their way out of the house.

They made their way onto the party boat as they enjoyed the summer night. "They do this every year in Capeside take a huge party boat along the creek to watch the fireworks." Max said as they stood at the edge of the boat.

"Wow this is incredible." Liz said as she looked at the white Christmas lights red white and blue streamed that decorated the boat as music played as the boat moved along the sea.

"Would you like to dance?" Max asked looking at her. "I loved to." Liz said taking his hand as they made their way towards the dance floor.

"Wow this is so exciting." Maria beamed as the group enjoyed the summer night. "Yeah the Boston Pops was incredible this year!" Jen smiled as she leaned back on to her lawn chair.

Isabel and Alex were leaning up against a tree wrapped in a blanket as they watched the stars. Tess and Kyle were playing cards on a huge blanket as Jen, Jack, Andie, and Dawson danced to the music. Pacey and Joey and Michael and Maria were walking along the river as it shinned in the moon light.

Chris was off in a corner close by brooding as he looked up at the sky as the first of the fire works busted into the night with all of its brightness causing the river to glow like firer.

America, I love you America, you see,

"Oh my god the fireworks are starting" Liz whispered as her and Max stopped dancing and looked up to the sky seeing it glow like a ring of firer.

”Come on I think we can get a better view up here." Max said as he grabbed Liz's hand and led her up the stairs to the second tear of the boat.

"Oh my god this is amazing." Liz said as she saw the fireworks twinkle in the darkness as their sparks fell like fireflies along the sea. "I love this holiday" Liz whispered as she looked up into the glowing sky. "It's so beautiful." She said in aw as Max handed her a sparkler.

"Yes it is." Max said as his and Liz's sparklers became one as he came close and looked deep into Liz's eyes as they passionately kissed each other as the sky shinned as the fireworks burst with their radiant light.

The sky was an array of diamonds and smoke as the fireworks continued to be shot into the sky as the finally was coming to an end as everyone enjoyed the Fourth of July feeling a sense of aw and excitement as they watched the rest of the display.

Well that is except for one as Chris sighed feeling as if each firer work was a hit to his heart. He prayed that it was a passing feeling as he closed his eyes and thought of Liz as his heart ached to be with her.

"Tomorrow I will be with Liz. Tomorrow everything will be alright." He thought as opened his eyes and watched the last of the fireworks shoot through the sky as it burned bright with all of its strength and then vanished into smoke as the sky turned black with darkness.

Chapter Forty Four

Max and Liz entered the house after a night of celebrating the Fourth of July together.

"I had a wonderful time. Thank you." Liz beamed as she kissed him. "Your welcome. I am glad you enjoyed it." Max smiled as he took hold of her hand as they walked upstairs.

"Well I should get ready for bed." Liz said when they came to her room.

"Ok" Max whispered as he kissed her on the forehead before Liz closed the door to her room.

She was dressed for bed and was writing in her journal when Max entered her room. "Could I sleep here tonight?" Max asked when he saw her.

Liz stopped writing and closed her journal. "Sure but what if the others come home?" Liz said worried.

"I will get up early." Max said as he climbed into her bed. Liz then joined him as they pulled the covers over them.

Liz snuggled close to Max who was lying on his back. Her hand slowly ran along his bear chest as she sighed sleepily. Max then took his hand and placed it over Liz's as he held her hand to his chest and smiled.

"I can't believe that tomorrow everyone will be back." Liz sighed looking up at Max.

"I know. I don't want to think about that. I just want to enjoy the quietness and being here with you." Max sighed as he looked deep into Liz's eyes and kissed her hand.

"You know when I was little my Grandma Claudia used to sing me to sleep. Every time I would sleep over her house she would sing to me until I was so tired I could no longer keep my eyes open and the sound of her voice would lull me to sleep." Liz sighed.

"Really what would see sing to you?" Max asked as he looked at her.

"A bunch of songs but there was one we would always sing together right before I would fall asleep." Liz said as she yawned.

"Can you sing it to me?" Max whispered.

"I’ll see you in my dreams
And then I’ll hold you in my dreams

Liz sang softly as Max closed his eyes hearing only her sweet voice.

Liz sang softly as sleep was taking over her eyes as she threaded her fingers through Max's hair as she watched him sleep as she sang the last of the song.

Liz finished the song and closed her eyes. Soon she was fast asleep.

In the morning Liz woke finding that Max was gone. Instead all she found was a note which read

Dear Liz,
Thank you for the best weekend of my life.

She sighed dreamily and got up to take a shower and got ready for the day.

She made her way downstairs and made her way into the kitchen where Max was.

"Thank you" She said as she hugged him and kissed him. "Thank you." Max said as they started to make out. However their make out secession was cut short when they heard voices in the hallway as they quickly broke apart as they were snapped back to reality.

"We are home!" Isabel beamed as the group entered the kitchen.

Chris then picked Liz up and spun her around as he passionately kissed her. "God I missed you!" He said smiling as Liz looked at him in shock.

"We had an awesome time in Boston!" Alex beamed.

"Oh my god Liz I have so much to tell you!" Maria beamed with excitement.

"OK ok one person at a time. Let’s go out side by the pool and you can tell me all about your trip." Max said as everyone hurried outside to talk about their weekend in Boston.

"How are you feeling Liz?" Chris asked as he looked at her. "Better" Liz said smiling as she caught eyes with Max from afar.

"Great then I am taking you out to dinner." Chris said as he kissed her on the cheek.

"Um Chris can we talk later?" Liz said looking up at him. "Sure." Chris beamed as he kissed her on the forehead.

Later that night Liz entered Chris's room and sat down on his bed. "Chris can we talk now?" She said looking up at him.

"Sure." He said sitting down next to her. Liz then unclasped the heart necklace. "I am giving this back." She said as she placed the necklace into his hand.

"Why?" Chris said confused. "Because I am not worthy of having your heart you should give it to some one who deserves it." Liz said looking up at him.

"Look Chris I did a lot of thinking this weekend and you are a great person and a very sweet guy. You are going to make some one very happy one day." Liz said looking deep into his eyes.

"You’re breaking up with me! Why?" Chris said in shock.

"Because Chris we don't work well together. You are a very sweet guy but I want more." Liz said looking at him.

"I changed because of you. Liz I haven't felt this way since Abby." Chris said as tears pricked his eyes. Liz took hold of Chris's hand.

"Chris you might of changed. But they don't call you Wolf for nothing. I mean you are a smooth talker and defiantly know how to win a woman’s heart but Chris you know what your problem is that you’re selfish. You only think about your self. You won't understand this now but someday you will.

Love is not what can I get out of this but it is saying what can we both gain. There has to be a give and take. It what makes a relationship grow. You grow together in love." Liz said in a soft voice as she looked deep into his eyes.

"But Liz I love you. You mean everything to me." Chris said as tears fell down his face.

Liz then wiped the tear from his cheek and smiled. "Chris if you really love me. You will want what's best for me and you will let me go. You are an amazing person and your warm welcome when I came to Capside was more that I could ask for but it's time for me to move on. Please." Liz begged as she looked deep into Chris's eyes.

Chris closed his eyes and sighed before he opened them "You should go Liz" he said looking into her eyes.

Liz then got up from the bed and softly kissed him. "Thank you" she whispered as she left Chris's room. The moment she left Chris for the first time broke down and cried feeling his would around him along with his heart shatter into a million pieces.

Max later that night was in his dad's office placed a book back on the book case when Chris entered the office.

"Well I hope your happy Maxwell!" Chris spat when he saw him.

"Chris what are you talking about?" Max said.

Chris then grabbed him by his shirt and slammed him into the wall. "Don't play dumb with me. Liz broke up with me!" Chris hissed.

"I'm sorry Chris" Max said looking into his brother’s eyes.

"I don't need your pity! WHEN YOU ARE THE ONE WHO TAKES EVERY PIECE OF HAPPINESS AWAY FROM ME!!!" Chris yelled as rage filled his eyes.

"Chris it was Liz's decision." Max said coldly as he looked at his brother.

"Like hell it was! How could you everything was going along just fine until you had to come into the picture with your pathetic sacred of your own shadow shy act!" Chris said as tightened his grip on Max's collar.

"Your sick Chris you know what you need help." Max spat as he looked at him.

Chris then punched the wall causing Max to flinch. "I don't need help. You’re the one who needs help. How do you like destroying my life? First with the family then with Abby and now Liz!" Chris hissed.

"Abby was an accident. I told you there was nothing I could do." Max cried.

"If only you had kept on eye on her that night. If only she got into the car with you her body would not have been washed up in the Creek!" Chris said as tears fell from his face.

"I hate you and your stupid fortune." Chris cried.

"Is that what this is about? Look I did not make up the rules about that Chris it was in the will you can't change that. God is this what this is about.

How could I been so blind you actually thought that by dating Liz you would get into good graces with mom and dad who in turn would give you the fortune. You used her. How could you?" Max said in shock as he looked at his brother.

"I did not use her. I love her." Chris spat.

"Now I get it. You know what your problem is Chris you think that you can use people and have use money all your life to get what you want. But you couldn't buy Liz with all the money you own and it's killing you." Max cried as Chris clenched his fits.

"Your right Maxwell you win this time. I hope you and Liz are happy." Chris said as he glared at Max before he stormed out of the office and slammed the door as the portrait of their Grandpa Zander Evans fell to the floor.

Chapter Forty Five

"Chris are you ok?" Jen said when she saw Chris by her bed room window. She could tell that he had been crying from the tear stains on his cheeks as he looked at her distressed.

"No" he said weakly. "Come on lets get out of here and talk." Jen said as she climbed out her window and climbed down the tree with Chris.

Soon the two of them were at a near by bar drinking as the song "Can't you See" By Marshall Tucker Band played in the jootbox.

I'm gonna take a freight train, down at the station

The were silent for a few minutes as Chris took a ship of his drink and then began.

"Liz broke up with me." He said hopelessly.

"When?" Jen asked in shock.

"Tonight. She came into my room saying that it was over. It didn’t take a rocket scientist to see where her heart belonged. My brother has been in love with her since he met her." Chris said trying to ease the pain as he downed his drink and slammed it down on the table.

"Chris I am so sorry. I don't know what to say." Jen said as she looked into her friends sad eyes.

"And you know what hurts the most is that I loved her." Chris smirked slightly as he shook his head and ordered another drink.

"I don't get it Jen I did everything you told me to do. I changed for her. I gave my heart to her and she still left me for my brother. It's not fair I feel like I have been cheated out of everything in life even love." Chris said as he took a sip of his drink.

"Look Chris I don't know why Liz left you. I thought you two had something. I mean I haven't seen you that happy since Abby." Jen said trying to make sense of the situation so she could give some sort of comfort to her friend.

"It's not fair Jen. You know Abby was the love of my life. I never thought I would find another girl like her. Then Liz came along and for the first time I felt what I lost so many years ago when I was with Abby.

"Chris don't blame your brother for Abby's death or for taking Liz away from you. I don't know why Abby had to die and Liz was just doing what was best for her. It wasn't because of Max. Liz can make decisions too." Jen said and she held Chris hand.

Tears filled Jen's eyes "Did I ever tell you what Abby said to me that night before she died?"

"No" Chris sighed.

"That she would marry some bonehead." Jen said laughing as Chris smiled.

"That was Abby. She used to call me Loveneck Freak" Chris said as he slightly laughed and then grew quite as a memory of her flashed into his mind.

"She also told me that she loved you Chris." Jen said remembering the last conversation she had with Abby on the docks before she died.

"Jen you’re my best friend so I can tell you. I am in with love Chris Wolf Evans" She said as she took a sip from her wine bottle.

"I know that Abby. I think you had way too much to drink." Jen said laughing.

"No Jen listen to me I am serious I love him. Everything about him. It's a deep love. I can't describe it, it just is. I want to spend the rest of my life with him." Abby said smiling and then grew quite.

"Jen even if it doesn’t work out between us for some reason I just want him to be happy. Please promise me that he will be happy. He has lived such a hard life. Both of us have. I never really knew what happiness was until I found him. So if I should for some reason pass out tonight just tell him that I love him and I always will." Abby said as she looked deep into Jen's eyes.

"I promise Abby I promise." Jen said as she hugged her.

"She wanted me to tell you that she loved you and always will. God I miss her so much." Jen said as she wiped the tears from her eyes.

"I do too but thank you for telling me. It means a lot." Chris said as he slightly smiled.

"She was a special one Abby that’s for sure." Jen sighed.

"So is Liz" Chris said softly as he looked into his empty beer glass and sighed as memories of the times they had together flashed through his mind.

"Come on Chris I think it's time we get out of here. I think we had enough sad storied for one night." Jen said as she opened up her wallet and paid for their drinks.

Chris then walked Jen home and started walking back home. Chris looked up at the stars as he walked the quite streets of Capeside. The pain in his heart still stung as memories of Liz pierced him. He then closed his eyes and said a silent prayer.

"Abby if you are up there please help me. You said that you wanted me to be happy. So if you can do anything in your power to gain my happiness back I would be grateful. I hope Heaven is treating you well. I miss you.

Just remember no matter what I will always be your loveneck freak. I love you. “Chris said as he opened his eyes watching the stars as they twinkled above him.

Chapter Forty Six

Chris made his way into the dark house only to find a firer burning bright in the living room as Maria, Alex, Isabel, Max and Liz sat around it.

"Care to join us Chris?" Maria smiled when she saw him.

"No I am kind of tired I am going to bed." Chris said as he felt his heart tighten in his chest when he saw Liz cuddled up close to Max on the couch.

"OK night Chris." Isabel said as she glanced up at her brother before he walked up stairs.

"What’s wrong with Chris?" Isabel said as she looked at Max.

"Is he ok?" Alex said confused as he glanced back and forth between Isabel and Max.

"Um well Liz and I wanted to wait but um well..." Max said as he scratched nervously behind his ear.

"Max and I are seeing each other." Liz blurted out as everyone looked at the two of them stunned.

"You’re what...well congratulations." Alex said surprised. "AW" a high pitched voice was heard as Maria ran and hugged them. "This is so exciting when did this happen?" Maria cried.

"Well the weekend when you guys were in Boston we realized that we always liked each other but were too scared to do anything about it." Liz beamed as she held Max's hand.

"Does Chris know about this?" Isabel said as she looked at her brother.

"Yes Liz told him." Max said and looked at his sister who had the most strange look on her face.

"I'm sorry this should be a happy occasion and look at me. Forgive me. That’s wonderful news." Isabel said smiling.

"Well I think we should celebrate." Isabel said getting up from her chair and went into the kitchen to get a bottle of champion.

Once she was in the kitchen and way from everyone she broke down as tears streamed down her cheeks. Her tears were a mixture of joy and pain as they mingled together as she cried.

It wasn't that she wasn’t happy for Max she was ecstatic that he finally found someone. Liz was perfect for him. She had known it from the start and was so happy they finally told each other how they felt.

However her heart ached for her brother Chris. He had been through so much with the loss of Abby and everything that followed after her death. She never saw her brother so happy as when he was with Liz. Now she felt the pain he was going through yet again with Max taking her away.

She then wiped her eyes and smiled. This was a happy celebration and she wasn't going to let Chris ruin it for her. It was Max's time for once to be happy and Isabel was going to show just how grateful she was to have Liz Parker in her life as well as Max's.

Chris sat in his bed crying as he heard the laughter and cheer down stairs echo up to his dark bedroom. Being with Jen tonight helped a little bit but she didn't know what it was like to have the sweet torture of Liz's laughing ringing in his ear or the image of her beautiful smiling face when he saw her with Max tonight.

He hated the world but mostly his brother for taking her away from him.

"Are you going to come and celebrate or are you going to sit here and brood for the rest of the night?" Isabel said as she walked into Chris's bedroom and sat down on the bed.

"Great all of the sudden I am surrounded by the Max Evans fan club!" Chris sighed in frustration.

"Look I am not saying that what Max did was right but for god sakes can't you at least be a little bit happy for him." Isabel cried as she looked at her brother laying in misery.

"Since when did you side with Max? Weren’t you the one who wanted me to date Liz so that we could get back at him?" Chris spat in disgust.

"Look I am tired of this family being pulled apart. It's bad enough the damage that Mom and Dad put us through. Just for once can you be happy for your brother." Isabel sighed.

"He's changed you!" Chris cried.

"Who's changed me?" Isabel said staring her brother in the eye.

"Alex"

"Look don't you dare put Alex into the middle of this. This is between me and you. You’re starting to sound like dad" Isabel cried.

"Well maybe he has a point. I mean what happened to the sister I knew who would do anything to take revenge. They didn't call you the Ice Princess for nothing. And the way you hung around Tess Harting this weekend like you were two peas in a pod like nothing ever happened between you and her and a certain Kyle Valentie makes me sick!" Chris cried.

"You bastard." Isabel said as she slapped Chris across the face.

"How dare you! Fine Chris you want the truth the truth is I have changed because for the first time some one loves me Chris. Yes some one LOVES me.

Yes Chris Alex Loves me! But you are too naive and selfish to see that. It's all about you with your Max this and Liz that. You know what makes me sick is your winning. When will you grow up and be a real man." Isabel cried as she got up to leave.

"Fine Isabel but you know the one thing you can't change is that your an Evans Isabel. You can't change who you are. You and I are one and the same. We are of the same blood. Just remember that. Your one of us it’s in your blood, in your bones.

You know what pain feels like just as much as I do. You know the sacrifices we have made over the years to get to where we are. Your an Evans Isabel and that will never change." Chris said looking deep into his sister’s eyes.

"I love you Chris and you are my family no matter what happens I will always be here for you. I am sorry Liz broke up with you and that your heart is breaking, but I will not let you treat me like I am some outcast. I maybe an Evans but I for one will not let my name rule who I am." Isabel cried as she left the room.

For the rest of the night Isabel enjoyed being in the company of good friends and let all of the positive energy ease her mind as she basked in her brother's happiness.

"So did I tell you Michael and I are getting together for dinner Wednesday night after filming." Maria said as she took a sip her of champion.

"No! Wow see I knew you liked him all along!" Alex cried as Maria blushed as she looked at him in shock.

"Come on I know the Deluca sparkle anytime." Alex said laughing as Maria hit him with a pillow.

"That’s great Maria. Michael is a really great guy." Max smiled as he watched Maria hitting Alex with the pillow.

"I'm glad Maria." Liz smiled as she looked at her best friend who was glowing.

"Well I think we have had enough excitement for one night. I am off to bed." Maria yawned as she got up from the couch.

"Sounds like a good idea." Max said as he helped clean up the living room.

Isabel then grabbed Alex and headed outside. Once they were outside she kissed him hard.

"What was that for?" Alex said in shock. "Just for being you. For coming into my life. I love you Alex I love you so much." Isabel said as she hugged him tight.

Alex then kissed her. "I feel the same way. Are you ok Isabel?" Alex asked concerned. "No." Isabel said as she kissed him. "Do you want to talk about it?" Alex said as he kissed her back.

"Yeah." Isabel said as they walked towards the pool house.

"So what do you want to do now?" Liz asked as she looked up at Max as he entered the living room. "Well I can think of a few things." He said as he kissed her.

"Really and what would that be?" Liz said as she looked up at him. Max kissed her again. "Let me show you." Max whispered as he kissed Liz again.

"Wait I have an even better idea." Liz whispered when they pulled apart. "Really and what would that be?" Max asked as he looked at her.

"Well I was thinking we could go up to my room" Liz said as she kissed him.

"Yeah" Max said arching an eyebrow.

"And then you could lie down on my bed" Liz kissed him again.

"Mmmm" Max sighed as Liz started to nibble on to his ear as she whispered

"While I..." Liz whispered as her hand started to run up Max's shirts as she whispered breathlessly into his ear. "While I..."

"Liz" Max whispered it was pure torture having her hand run up and down him it was even more hearing her breath voice vibrate in his ear.

"While I go and grab the boat." Liz said as she kissed Max's neck.

"What" Max said breaking out of his daze. "Boat what boat who's boat?" Max asked as he tried to calm down.

"Pacey's. He told me I could borrow True Love when ever I wanted to. He knew that she would be in good hands so he said it was ok." Liz said smiling.

"Wait so you were going to leave me in pure torture lying on your bed while you got Pacey's Boat?" Max said shocked.

"Well I had to make sure you were good and ready" Liz said softly.

"Oh I am always ready. Just say the word Parker and I am yours." Max said huskily as he kissed her.

"Really" Liz whispered as she looked up into his eyes.

"Yes when your ready. I would wait for all eternity if I had to. Max whispered into Liz's ear as he kissed her.

"I love you." Liz said softly as she smiled and kissed him.

"I love you Now about that boat" Max said softly as he took hold of Liz's hand.

Chapter Forty Seven

Max and Liz made there way towards the docks as the cool summer winds whirled around them.

They saw True Love rocking back and forth in the shallow waters as they made their way closer. Max climbed into the boat and took hold of Liz's hand as she gained her balance and climbed aboard.

"Are you sure this is legal?" Max asked concerned. He knew Liz said that Pacey told her it was ok to take his boat but he still felt uneasy about it. Like they were stealing it or something.

"Yes I can assure you that one will be put in handcuffs. Well that is unless I am the one putting them on you." Liz said in a seductive voice as she batted her eyes up at him.

Max's head was spinning did she just say what he thought she just said. He felt the tempter rise around him. All of the sudden he was speechless as if the formations of words was a foreign concept to him as he looked at her.

However he didn't have time to respond when they both jumped hearing the cabin door open.

"Dougie I swear to god can't you leave me alone for one minute. I didn't violate any Capeside laws by parking my boat here." Pacey said annoyed as he emerged from the cabin and on to the main deck.

"Oh Liz Chris I am sorry. I thought it was my older brother dragging me into the depts of hell and destroying my poor pathetic life once again." Pacey said laughing as he apologized.

"Pacey its Max" Max said as he looked at him.

"Oh right sorry the whole mirror image twin thing throws me off sometimes." Pacey said shacking his head as he smiled at Max and Liz.

"So what brings you two here tonight?" Pacey asked as he looked at the two of them.

"We need your boat" Liz said smiling. "I can see that. But what is the real reason?" Pacey said as he smirked at Liz.

"Well Liz said we could take your boat when ever we wanted to." Max said as he looked at Liz and then at Pacey.

"Look don't get the idea you can take True Love when ever you want to. You have to tell me first ok." Pacey said smiling.

"Ok I am sorry I should have asked you. I promise I will take good care of her." Liz beamed.

"I am sure you will Liz. After all I never would doubt that a Lady such as yourself would ever have bad intentions." Pacey said as he gestured his hand towards her and bowed.

Liz blushed slightly at Pacey gesture and laughed. Max felt his heart wince slightly he knew Pacey never would take Liz away from him. However he couldn't help but be slightly jealous of his friends’ actions.

"So can we have the boat?" Max said as he cleared his throat breaking the moment between Pacey and Liz. Pacey straighten up and looked at him. "Sure but the only problem is that Joey is sleeping downstairs in the cabin." Pacey said tilting his head towards the cabin door.

"Oh we are sorry. If tonight is not a good night we can come another time." Liz said apologizing.

"Not all. You both are more then welcome to stay. Make yourself at home. You can hang out on the deck. I don't mind." Pacey said smiling.

"Really are you sure?" Max said concerned. "Yes True Love is as much my home as it is yours so enjoy." Pacey said laughing.

"Thank you." Liz beamed with excitement.

"Besides it a great night out tonight. We can take her out to sea for a while. However I fear there maybe a thunderstorm coming so it will be a short trip." Pacey said looking up at the sky.

"That’s fine." Max said as he looked at Liz. Max then went with Pacey to help untie True Love as they started to sail away from port on to the dark blue sea.

"Oh Max I think there are some extra ropes in the cabin I need to help tie these sails. Can you get them if you don't mind?" Pacey said as he tried to raise the sails.

"Sure" Max said as he made his way downstairs.

"Pacey I forgot to tell you I have some great news that I thought you out of all people should know." Liz beamed with excitement.

"Well then Parker do share." Pacey said smiling at her.

"Max was the one!" Liz beamed as she smiled brightly.

"What?" Pacey said confused.

"For the longest time I thought it was Chris who was sending me the roses but I was wrong. It was Max. It was him all along. And well this weekend when you guys were in Boston he finally told me how he felt." Liz beamed as she felt herself blushing as the memory of that night filled her mind.

"And I take it you felt the same way?" Pacey said raising an eye brow up at her.

"Yes I thought Chris was the one but it was Max all along. So I broke up with Chris and well Max and I are starting to see each other. But we are taking it slow. This is all so new to both of us." Liz said smiling as she tucked a piece of hair behind her ear.

"Wow I don't know what to say. Well then I am honored to have you both on my boat tonight to celebrate this exciting news." Pacey said smiling as he hugged her.

"Thank you." Liz said glowing when the broke from the hug.

"Pacey I got the rope." Max said as he walked up to Pacey and handed it to him.

"Thanks oh and may I be the first to congratulate you in the Whitter fashion for winning the heart of this rare and beautiful woman. You are a lucky man." Pacey said as he hit Max on the back smiling.

Max looked at Pacey and then at Liz in shock as to what was going on.

"I told him about us." Liz smiled as she looked a him.

"Oh" Max said realizing why Pacey reacted the way he did.

"Treat her well." Pacey said smiling as he tired up the sails.

"Don't worry Pacey I will." Max beamed as he looked at Liz and took hold of her hand.

"Well I will leave you alone. If you need anything you know where I will be." Pacey said smiling as he made his way downstairs.

Once Pacey was downstairs Max and Liz sat down on the benches of the boat as they held each other close and watched the stars.

"So Liz you know all about me but I hardily know anything about you. What’s your family like?" Max asked as he looked at her in the moon light.

"Well my life is very different from yours. My parents are in the restaurant hotel business in Sante Fa. They own the Hotel Casino Crash 47. However we weren't always rich. I grew up in Roswell New Mexico as you know. My parents owned a restaurant there. We lived in the apartment above it. I was a waitress and worked there all through middle school as well as high school.

Well my parents were very good business people and decided to expand their restaurant skills into the hotel industry well one thing let to another and well they realized they were good at both industries so they created the Crash 47 Hotel and casino in Sante Fa and well from their the business grew and is now one of the most exclusive hotels in New Mexico.

It was hard moving away from Roswell to Santa Fe but we were only there for a little while until the business took off. Eventually my parents and I moved back to Roswell once the hotel was established and bringing in money.

I was an only child so my parents weren't around too much when I was growing up between business appointments and meetings with clients they were always on the move. However I was their number one priority and they always made time for me and were there for me for all of the important things in my life. We are really close. They love me very much.

So you can see why I miss them so much being here in Capeside. But I am happy I came. I am also grateful for Alex and Maria. You see my parents were very hard working people and taught me a lot about how hard work can pay off in the end. However they also taught me that money does not solve all your problems and that it's your friends and family who are the most important people.

So when my parents became rich people tended to treat me differently because I had money and I lost some friends over the years because of it. But Alex and Maria stood by me no matter what and never took advantage of me when my family became rich all of the sudden. They always saw me for me.

So that is why I am so happy they are with me this summer. It's like having a piece of home with me here in Capeside. I consider them my brother and sister we have known each other forever and I am happy to call them family.

You’re lucky to have Isabel and Chris in your life. Sometimes I wish I had brothers and sisters. Alex and Maria are the closest I have to that but they are of your own blood. That’s special all in it's self." Liz said as she looked deep into Max's eyes.

"Well sometimes I wish Chris was not my brother and that Michael was." Max sighed.

"Don't say that. Look I know Chris might of hurt you in the past but he is still your family. He was hurt just as much as Isabel and you were by your parents. Look I am not saying Chris is perfect but he is still your brother." Liz said as she brushed her hand through Max's hair.

"I guess."

"Why are you crying?" Liz said softly as she brushed the tears that were streaming down his cheeks.

"I am just so lucky and happy that I found you and that you are in my life." Max said softly.

Liz smiled at him as he smiled back. "I love you Liz." Max whispered as he looked deep into her eyes.

"I love you." Liz whispered as they started to passionately kiss each other in the moon light.

Chapter Forty Eight

Rain started to fall as thunder was heard in the distance as the sky light up like a firefly as lighting pierced the darkness. The sea was rough as Max, Liz, Joey and Pacey struggled to keep True Love steady as they drove her back to port.

"We need more rope" Pacey yelled through the ribbon sheets of rain.

"Pacey we have to start bailing water out if we are going to keep her steady." Joey said as she rushed to find buckets to scoop the water collecting on the deck of the boat.

"Pacey I need help holding the line" Max yelled as water drenched his face.

Pacey ran and help him hold the sail in place as the boat rocked back and forth.

"How much longer to port?" Liz said as she held of her hand over her face to shield it from the rain as she looked towards the distance.

"About a mile. Our speed is at 8 knots so we should be there any moment." Pacey yelled as he rubbed water from his eyes trying to gain a clear vision of the horizon.

The streets were a blur of silver sheets as Chris ran through the array of darkness and light with each lighting flash.

He ran, he ran harder and faster then he had ever in his life as his feet pounded the pavement echoing against the sound of thunder. He didn't care that the rain was stinging in his eyes and that it was cutting into his skin as he ran through the blurred confusion.

His chest was pounding and it felt like his heart was going to bust any minute but he didn't care it was the pain he craved it was the pain that made know he was real that he was alive as he got closer and closer to the iron gates.

They were locked. He grabbed the bars and rattled them hoping that they would open up. But alas they just like his world were closed off to him.

He frantically searched for a way to get in as he started to climb over them. His feet hit the soaked earth as mud spattered around him as he tried to gain his balance from the jump.

A flash of light came over the darken moor as he made his way through the rows of engraved stones as he searched through the darkness.

He then saw through the sheets of sliver a beckon of light illumined in a yellow rose as it glow pierced the ground. Chris then dropped to his knees as tears fell down his cheeks as rain washed over his face.

A crack of thunder and a flash of lighting illumined the grave stone that he stood in front of as the carved letters glowed in the darkness.

Chris touched the cold stone as it shinned in the moonlight. He then clenched his fists into the muddy ground as he cried. "Why did you have to die? Abby, oh Abby. My beloved Abby why?" Chris sobbed as he looked up at the sky as rain fell down upon his tearstained face.

Chis then reached into his pocket and pulled out the heart shaped necklace that once belong to Liz.

"Please Abby I need you to help me. Take this necklace as a token it once belonged to the woman I love. Now she belongs to another. Please Abby help me. Bring me back Liz's heart." Chris said as he buried the necklace in the soft wet ground as he closed his eyes and lay down on the ground crying.

When he opened his eyes he saw a flash of lightening as he saw what looked like the figure of a young woman dressed in a white dress.

"Abigail" Chris whispered shacking his head.

"Christopher. Shh Do not cry I hate to see you cry." The woman said softly as she clutched Liz's heart necklace in her hand.

Chris looked up at her stunned. She was as clear as day as if he had seen her yesterday. She walked up to him and crouched down as she placed her hand under his chin and looked deep into his eyes.

"Abby?" Chris said as he touched her cheek surprised to find it soft and real.

"Is it you?" Chris whispered in shock as his hand shook feeling her touch.

"Yes Chris it's me." She said softly as she touched his hand lying on her cheek.

She then took his hand away from her cheek and lowered it as she clasped her hand in his.

"I missed you." Chris whispered softly as he looked deep into her eyes.

Abby smiled slightly "So have I" she said as she squeezed Chris's hand.

Her other hand was over her heart and clenched into a fist. She then looked down at it and smiled.

"Her heart doesn’t belong to you." Abby said as she placed the heart shaped necklace into Chris hand.

"What I don't understand I love her." Chris said confused.

"You can try and try all you might but it won't work Liz was not the one. Please take it and give your heart to the one destiny has for you." Abby whispered softly as tears fell from Chris eyes.

"Please believe me Christopher when I tell you this. I know you are in pain. But you will be in even more pain if you don't listen to me. You have to believe me. Your time will come." Abby said softly as she looked deep into Chris's eyes.

"My time is ending I must go." Abby said as she took hold of Chris hand.

"No Please stay" Chris begged in a soft whisper.

"Shh." Abby said as she placed a finger on Chris lips.

"Rest now Christopher. I love you. I always will." Abby said as Chris closed his eyes she kissed him on the forehead.

Chris then opened his eyes and looked around him as the cold rain brought him back to reality. He had fallen asleep and had been dreaming as he felt something in his hand. It was Liz's necklace.

He looked at it and then placed it into his pocket as he got up from the cold ground and looked at Abby's gravestone one last time before he made his way home in the stormy night.

True Love rocked back and forth safe and sound in the port as Joey and Pacey tied her to the docks and sighed in relief that they all made it back safe and sound.

"Well I think we had enough excitement for one night. I am heading home." Joey said as she and Pacey climbed off the boat and on to the docks along with Max and Liz.

"You think she will be ok?" Liz said.

"Well the course of True Love never did run smooth but I have a feeling she is going to be just fine." Pacey said laughing.

"I think so too." Max said as he placed his arm around Liz and kissed her as the four of them walked home in the pouring rain.

A/N I have some good news and some bad news.

Bad news first I will be going home back to NY for the summer.So this means that I can't post when I am home because I have my family comp that will not let me post in NY.

Now for the good news I will be back August 15th when I start my summer Grad classes which means I will be able to post when I am back in CT because that is where I have my comp. Not sure if I will be back in CT in July anytime soon between my summer job and what not but we shall see. But I will be back in August thats for sure!!

However in the time being if you could leave feedback or bump my fic every now and then I would appreciate it!!

Chapter Forty Nine

Dawson chewed on his pencil as he watched his TV with intensity. He then sighed as he watched the scene end. He then flipped off the TV.

"It was good." Andie said as she looked at Dawson as she sat on the bed cross legged.

"Not enough emotion if you ask me." Jen piped in as she looked up from her scripted.

"I agree with Jen. I mean it's good but it needs more depth." Dawson said as he took his pencil out of his mouth and jotted down some notes.

"Dawson I don't see what you are obsessing over! The movie is already a master piece and I think if we dig any deeper we are going to hit the core of the earth!" Andie cried as she looked at Dawson with huge eyes.

"Andie will you clam down. I swear I think you had too much caffeine today." Jen sighed as Andy gave her an annoyed look.

Dawson flipped through his scripted and the placed it down. "I think we all had enough for one night. Andy and Jen you guys can go home. Thanks for all of your help." Dawson smiled.

"You sure Dawson cause I could pull an all nighter if I had to" Andie cried with hyperness as she bounced off the bed.

"No Andie but thank you. I will see you guys on Wednesday night for filming." Dawson smiled as Andie and Jen gathered there things.

"OK night Dawson." Andie said as she left Dawson’s room. Jen hesitated to leave as she packed up her things.

"Dawson if you want my opinion I think the movie is wonderful however keep in mind what your film is about deception, betrayal, jealously, and love. You already have a brilliant cast who can make these ideas come true you just have to let it unfold and create an electric connection between them and the audience. I know you can I see how you write. Your holding back please don't I want to see the idealistic emotional side of Dawson Leary shine through." Jen said smiling as she kissed Dawson on the cheek.

"Now go and make your dreams come true." Jen said softly as she smiled.

"Jen what if I can't." Dawson said softly with hesitation and concern in his voice.

"You can. If it helps I believe in you." Jen smiled as Dawson looked up at her and smiled.

"Thanks Jen." Dawson whispered. "See you on Wednesday." He smiled as he watched Jen leave the room.

Once Jen had left Dawson sat down at his desk and opened up his laptop and started to write.

OK guys from the top just like we talked about before. I have to get this shot done today ok. We already did two takes so please make the third one count." Dawson said as he looked at Pacey, Alex, and Jack.

"All right" They said in agreement as Dawson yelled action as Pacey began.
Rick Blackwell:” The press is starting to think that Yvonne White is now involved with the murder."

Charles Carver:" It makes sense I mean she is Blackwell’s leading star who just so happened to appear out of no where." Alex said as he read his line.

Kenny:" No I know Miss White and yes she is naive but she would never be the type to commit murder I mean she is so innocent." Jack read as the scene played through.

Rick:" That’s what they want you to believe. I mean I agree that Miss White is the last person who would be involved with murder. So it makes sense, however in my heart I believe she is innocent."

Maria and Andie then entered into Blackwell’s office.

(Betty Osorio and Blackwell’s secretary Rosemary enter Blackwell's office.)

Rosemary:" Mr. Blackwell Betty Osrio is here to see you she said it was an emergency."

Rick:” Thank you Rosemary"

(Rosemary leaves the office)

Rick:” Betty are you alright you look a fright?"

Betty:” I have some news that I think you will find most interesting. I should have told you this before but I was so afraid."

Rick:” Go on"

Betty:” Well the night that the murder happened...Well you know Tommy Shellow sits in the far right hand corner facing the stage he comes to the club every Friday night and sits there usually orders a gin and tonic and watches me sing...Well I was getting ready for my number that night and I was standing in the wings and out of the right hand corner of my eye I saw him sitting there.

Next thing I saw was Nathanial Fox going up to him. They talked for only a second about something while Tommy sat there drinking his drink. They then nodded to one another and then Fox left. I thought nothing of it at the time but now looking back something about the whole thing just felt wrong."

Kenny:” Betty is right come to think of it I saw Stan Silver and Tommy shellow enter the club around eight. I served them both that night at the bar. We talked for a while before Matt Madom showed up and him and Stan left while Tommy went to his usual booth."

Charles:” Look we all know that Matt Madon was closely involved in the mob. Who’s to say that the mob isn't to blame for the murder?"

Rick:” Wait that's it that’s why the papers are linking Yvonne White to the murder. It makes perfect sense it's all a cover so the mob can come out looking on top."

(Rick then sits down frustrated)

Rick:” Why didn't I figure this out before."

Charles:” Wait wasn't Fox involved in the mob?"

Rick:” Yes but that was years ago.

Betty:" I think you should check your sources about that one. Turns out he has been stealing money from the casino's for years."

Rick:” Betty are you sure this information is true?"

Betty:” As true as day. Lets just say I got my information from a very reliable source which was non other then Tommy Shellow told him myself. He also told me that Blackwell better watch his back or it won't be a leading lady that gets the knife. "

Charles:"I must inform Lilly May at once if she is in great danger."

Rick:” Please do Mr. Carver and while you are at it inform Karen and the rest of my staff as well."

(Charles leaves at once)

Rick:” Betty do you know where Miss White is I must inform her at once."

Betty:” Last I heard she was making her way towards the Golden Lagoon with Dixie Heart.”

Rick:” Kenny please get me Rosemary I need to make a call to detective Mr. Blane."

"And cut" Dawson yelled. "That was perfect! Thanks guys." Dawson said as Joey,Jen, and Michael got the set ready for the next scene.

Once the scene was up and ready Dawson looked over his notes. "Liz and Chris your up." Dawson said as they made there way towards the stage.

"OK when ever you are ready." Dawson said as Liz and Chris stood there.

It had the first time that Chris and Liz had really spent any length of time alone together since there break up. There were so many questions still burning in Chris's mind as a rush of emotions flooded back to him as he looked a Liz despite Abby's warning he couldn't convince himself that Liz wasn't the one.

Finally Liz spoke as the scene began.

(Yvonne White enters Nathanial Fox's private room)

Yvonne:” Have you read the papers? Why did you sell me out?"

Nathanial:” I never meant to Yvonne but what could I do. I had no choice."

Yvonne:” No choice! No choice how can you say that when you are framing an innocent man and selling my soul!"

Liz cried as Chris closed his eyes feeling hurt and then rage took hold of him when he opened them.

Nathanial:” Like you should be the one to talk about selling people out when you have done the exact same thing to me." Chris spat as he looked at Liz.

Yvonne:" I have no idea what you are taking about?" Liz said taken aback by his words.

Nathanial:"Does the name James Blane mean anything to you?"

Yvonna:"James Blane what does he have to do with anything. He is some silly detective hired to solve the Blackwell case. Really Nathanial I don't know what has gotten into you."

Nathanial:” Don’t play your backstabbing tricks with me. How long?" Chris yelled as he crossed the room.

Yvonne:"I have no idea what you are taking about?" Liz said as she tried to back away but it was too late she was pinned between the wall and Chris.

Nathanial:” HOW LONG! I know you have been cheating behind my back with HIM!!! HOW COULD YOU YVONNA!!!" Chris spat as he looked deep into Liz's eyes. He didn't care if he was scaring her he wanted her to see the pain she had caused him by going behind his back and cheating on him with his brother Max.

Liz trembled as tears pricked her eyes as Chris touched her cheek as his voice softened.

Nathanial:" I gave you everything. I made you a star. I gave you this life, and this is how you repay me. Why?" Chris said searching Liz's tear stained eyes for an answer.

Yvonne:" I never wanted to be apart of this world to begin with. I never wanted to be involved with the Mob. How could I ever belong to a world where it's always about money and reputation and...and murder!

But you could never see that! All you cared about was running Blackwell out of town and eventually taking over his club. I was just another Pawn in your game. You never loved me!" Liz said forcefully as tears fell from her eyes as she looked deep into Chris eyes that were now wet with tears.

Nathanial:"Yvonne look at me you belong to this world for you are my world. Don't you understand that? I always loved you and I still do." Chris said softly as he engulfed Liz into a long and passionate kiss.

Liz pulled away. "Stop it Nathanial I am not falling for another one of your charms." Liz said breathlessly. "I'm leaving you." Liz said as she moved away from Chris.

Chris turned and faced her. "Please Yvonne. Stay." Chris said softly as he grabbed hold of her arm. "I love you" He whispered.

Yvonne:" I don't love you anymore. I love him. Please let me go." Liz said as tears streamed down her cheeks as she looked at the pain in Chris's eyes.

Chris released his hold on Liz's arm as he watched her grab her purse.

(Yvonne turns and looks at Nathaniel one last time.)

Yvonne:" I never meant to hurt you. Good bye."

"And scene" Dawson yelled as Chris and Liz were snapped back to reality hearing his voice.

"Wow I never thought you had it in you Dawson that scene was breathtaking."Jen beamed as she gave Dawson a huge hug. "Thank you for giving me the inspiration." Dawson beamed as he looked at Jen.

"I say that was an academy award quality if I do say so myself. Well done you two." Pacey said as he congratulated Chris and Liz.

"Thank you" They both said.

"Wow that was just amazing!" Andie beamed as she hugged Liz, Chris, and Dawson.

"Well if this filming is over with I have a hot date with Space boy!" Maria yelled as Michael looked at Maria in embarrassment. "Must you always call me that!" he cried.

"Oh come on you love it." Maria cried as she quickly kissed him. "Now let’s go I am starving." Maria cried as Michael rolled his eyes and smiled as they made there way towards his car.

Chris and Liz were both silent as they made there way into the cool summer night.

They walked for quite some time until they reached the pier. "This is where Abby fell the night she died." Chris said looking at the docks.

"Chris why are you showing this to me?" Liz hesitated as she stared at the docks in front of her.

"I dream of her now and then. Sometimes I feel like she is right in front of me...like I can almost reach out and hold her. Then I wake up and she has vanished and I realize she is gone. It still hurts after all these years. I come here sometimes every now and then to think but also to be reminded of how much has been taken from me." Chris said in a soft voice.

"Tell me did it hurt when you broke up with me. Did you feel any once of pain that I felt when you broke up with me, or where you so quick to move on with my brother, because it sure as hell felt like that when I got back from Boston." Chris said looking at Liz.

"Chris to say that I didn't grieve over breaking up with you would be a lie. It was the hardest thing for me to do was to break up with you. But I had to follow my heart and despite the pain I felt over losing you I knew I made the right choice.

But don't use your pain over losing Abby to justify the pain of losing me and for things being taken away from you. I know how you treat your family. Your family and people are not always out to get you or to take things away from you just to cause you pain.

I know Abby won't want you to live a life like that. She would want more from you. But I can't be the one to tell you this. You have to believe in yourself in order for that to happen." Liz said softly as she looked at the dark water by the docks.

"Look we both had a hard night of filming. It's been a long day. I think we should head on over to Jacks party tonight and relax." Liz said trying to lighten up the mood.

"OK Liz that sounds like a good idea. I could use a night out." Chris said as he smiled at her as they left the docks.
