Chapter 1
Her eyes looked at me and then darted to the floor. She was nervous I could tell. She kept her hands at her sides as she came closer to me. I smiled softly. I never seen a girl so nervous before.
“hi” She said softly. I loved the way she looked in the deep pink colored dress. Her body fit the dress perfectly.
“hi” I replied back as I took her hand in mine. We started slowly dancing, she was scared I could tell. I must have been the first she has ever gotten this close to. The soft sounds of save ferris played “let me in” as everyone danced on the dance floor. She laid her head on my shoulder and softly closed her eyes. I must have been dreaming, the most beautiful girl in the whole entire school was dancing with me.
“I'm dreaming” I said softly in her ear.
“your not dreaming, I'm here” She said, her head not leaving my shoulder. I could feel her heart beating, it was beating faster and faster. My heart was also beating faster as we danced together.
“Do you want to go for a walk?” I asked her. She looked at me and smiled.
“sure” She said softly as we walked out of the gym. We walked through the courtyard of the school in slience. I knew she had alot on her mind.
“I know you have something to say” I said to her as we sat on one of the benches in the courtyard.
“What do you want me to say” She asked softly.
“I know you have something on your mind”
“ I have alot on my mind.”
“your still thinking about our..kiss arent you?” I asked reliving the moment in my mind.
“Yes, I... Just dont want our friendship to be ruined if we take this further. And you know my parents arent too fond of you”
“I really dont care what your parents think. We've been best friends since kindergarden”
“I know” She said looking up at me.
“If you want to take it slow we can, I wont rush anything. We can see how it goes if it doesnt go well we can still be friends”
I didnt want to be just friends anymore. Ever since high school the feelings I have had for Liz were more then just friends. When she started dating kyle a while back I went crazy. But I didnt let it show. But she knew deep down that I hated seeing her with kyle. I was hoping asking her to the spring dance would make things different. I didnt want to push anything if Liz wasnt ready. I took Her hand in mine and intwined My fingers with her. Her skin was soft and wanted to feel her. I wanted to be with her. I wanted her more then anything, I found myself Leaning closer to her. I slowly brushed her lips with mine. I knew she wanted to kiss me. I could feel it. Her warm breath felt so good on my face. As she leaned closer to kiss me but we were suddenly distracted by someone. I turned and looked over and saw Liz's Step sister watching us.
“I cant believe this!” She yelled as she took off running.
“Tess! Wait!” Liz said running after her. God! This wasnt good. If tess saw us together she would go running to Liz's parents. and Then I would be banned from seeing Liz forever. I always thought that Tess had a thing for me. She always had to have more then Liz. Her and Liz hated each other.
“Tess please!” Liz yelled. Tess turned towards Liz with this look that would kill.
“ you told my mom and your dad you werent going to see Max evans ever again and here you are with him at the dance? Kissing him! God! your in so much trouble!” tess yelled.
“This isnt about that is it. Your upset because me and max are getting closer” Liz said.
“ Maybe it is maybe it isnt” tess getting in her face.
“ I dont want to fight with you anymore tess” Liz said softly.
“ We wouldnt even know each other if your father hadnt of married my mother”
“ Were a family we live together!” Liz yelled. I stood in the distance and Listened. I knew there would be a brawl between them.
“I dont care! Ever since you came into the picture its always been liz this liz that! And then the one thing I want you take”
“You never had max” Liz said softly.
I stood in between them I didnt want them fighting over me or anything else for that matter.
“Stop” I said softly.
“ Just take me home Max”Liz said softly.
“ yeah max take her home so “our parents” can deal with her” tess said going back into the gym. I saw the tears in liz's eyes.
“Dont cry” I said to her Wiping her tears away with my thumb.
“Dont” She said pulling away.
“I'll take you home” I said softly as I ushered her to the car.

Chapter 2
The whole drive back we were both silent. I dropped Liz off a a block away from her house so her parents wouldnt know I was with her. She slowly got of the car.
“you know where I am if you need me” I said as she turned to me and said goodnight.
Liz crawled through her bedroom window. She Quickly went to the bathroom and took a shower. She knew her father would be entering her room to check up on her. He always checked up on her before he went to bed. She was in and out of the shower. As soon as she was dressed and ready for bed her father knocked on the door.
“come in” She said as her father opened the door.
“hey Just come to check up on ya” Jeff parker said as he peeked his head in.
“ok” Liz said combing her wet hair. Her father closed the door. Liz looked at herself in the mirror. More then anything she wanted max. Ever since they first kiss he was all she could think about. But she didnt want her friendship to disappear. they had been through so much together.
I laid On my back in bed still wearing my suit and tie staring at the ceiling. all I could think about was Liz. Suddenlly a tap on my window brought me back to reality. I looked over and saw michael at my window.
“Michael? what the hell are you doing here?” I asked as I opened the window.
“ I had to get away, My foster father is nagging at me and my so called girlfriend is ignoring me” Michael said as he crawled through the window.
“when is maria not ignoring or annoying you.” I said laughing.
“I see You went to the dance, How did it go? did you get all mushy seeing your girl?” michael said as he sat down at my desk.
“I really dont want to talk about it” I said rubbing my eyes.
“ Let me guess problems with the evil step sister??? She talks about you 24/7. She was annoying the hell out of maria yesterday”
“ its not just that, its Liz's parents and I dont know maybe I should Just stay friends with, that way it ruin anything”
“max, Liz has been there for you since kindergarden. She's loyal and trust worthy and you two are the perfect couple. I've actually known you alot longer then her and I know you well. You dont look at any other girl the way you look at her, her best friend or not your always going to have feelings for her” What michael was saying actually made sense and it was true. I dont look at the other girls at school like I look at her. Her smile is the most beautiful smile and her eyes..they are the deepest brow, sometimes I get lost in them.
“your actually right for once michael guerin” I said laughing.
“ Dam! I'm good! I gotta split before my pops starts looking for me”
“What about maria??”
“She knows where to find me”
I knew maria would be over here in a few minutes spilling her guts out about what michael did to her. Maria happend to be also be one of Mine and Liz's good friend. Maria met me and Liz our freshmen year of school. She moved to roswell from new york, and ever since then we have been like three muskateers. liz, maria and max we are in seperable. My sister isabel suddenly comes barging into my room.
“Max my little brother what are you doing??” She asked giving me one of those I-am-your-sister- and-I-am-in-need-of-a-favor looks.
“what is it about izz?” I asked.
“you see I need a favor from you”
“What kind of favor?” I asked curiously.
“You see My friend tracy needs a date for this little get together we are having” I laughed and Replied straight out “no”
“Max! You havent even thought about it!”
“No izz!”
“She's really nice..and maybe you can get closer with her. She's a great person”
“No!” Isabel was always playing match maker with people. And I really hated when she always wanted to hook me up with one of her ditzy friends.
“Fine! I'll let you sit here in your room so you can feel sorry for yourself because you cant have Liz parker”
“Thanks” I said as she closed the door and left my room.
Finally I was alone, I pulled my suit off and changed into something more comfortable. I pulled a baggy shirt on and some clean boxers.
Liz pulled on her dark pink Pj's that had little pink bunnies on them that said “i'm not listening” all over them. Max had gave them to her for christimas almost a year ago. She wore them practically every night to bed. she pulled on a baggy shirt and crawled into her bed . She hadnt heard tess come in yet from the dance. Her stomach tightened. Would tess really tell her parents that She was with ,max tonight?? Liz had told them she was going to the dance but she didnt tell them she was going with max. Well She didnt plan on going with max. Its just sort of happened that she ended up with max. She had planned on going with kyle but kyle decided to break up with her because he thought she was spending way too much time with max for his comfort.
He said that she never looked at him the way she looked at max. Which was true. Liz grabbed her Pink bunny and held it tightly and snuggled up in bed ready to sleep. But she couldnt sleep. She picked up the phone and quickly dialed max's number.
I was half way asleep when my phone rings. Better not be maria because it was way too late for phone calls. I pick up the phone and answer it.
“helloo” I said yawning into the phone.
“were you asleep” Liz said into the phone. I was half way, but I could stay up just to listen to Liz's voice.
“I was half way” I said into the phone.
“Sorry I cant sleep” She said pausing for a moment.
“is there a reason why you called this late? you know we have school tomorrow and If my parents find out I am on the phone this late they are going to kill me” I said hoping my parents were in bed asleep.
“Sorry I..just wanted to talk” Liz said.
“About what?” I asked.
“after the dance tonight I didnt think you wanted to talk about anything”
“ I know, But we need to talk about us”
“ Liz its late and I am really tired can we talk about this tomorrow”
“No! we cant! do you know what kyle told me?” No and I really didnt care about what Kyle thought or said.
“No but I'm sure your going to tell me”
“he said That I dont look at him the way I look at you. Thats why he broke up with me”
“Really? Someone told me the exact only the opposite”
“Who?”
“It doesnt matter who.”
“It matters to me” Liz said softly.
“Michael”
“Michael guerin? Maria's Boyfriend? He said that?”
“Yeah he did. Now can I get some sleep now?”
“Sorry I'm just...” He stopped for a moment and paused.
“just what?” I asked.
“just overwhelmed”
“Overwhelmed by what?”
“How I feel about you”
“And How do you feel about me? Because If its how I want you to feel please tell me. Because I feel the same way.”
“We should be more then just friends” Liz said into the phone.
“ We should” I replied back as I played with the Phone cord.
“ I'll.. Talk to you tomorrow Bye max” She said softly into the phone.
“Bye liz” I said Hanging up. Sunk down low into my bed. Liz parker actually wanted to more then just friends. Was our realationship going to the next level?? I thought about it all night and didnt even get one wink of sleep.

chapter 3
Liz woke up to the blarring noise of her alarm clock. She hit the snooze button and laid back down. She looked out the window and realized that it was a new day, soon Maria would be picking her up for school. Within an hour Liz was dressed and ready to go out the door when her Father stopped her.
“Liz sweetie” he said softly.
“Sorry dad I cant talk I'm late” She said as she hurried to the door.
“Wait, I wanted to ask you who you were talking on the phone with last night so late” Liz looked down and the replied.
“maria, she was freaking about something michael did”
“Ohh ok have a good day at school” Liz hated lying to her father but it was something she had to do. Maria blarred the horn of her Jetta. liz quickly ran out to the car.
“Hurry up girl were gonna be late! I have to pick up Michael's lazy butt!” maria yelled as liz got in the car. liz was slient the whole way to michael's. Maria knew something was up.
“Something is going on” maria said softly.
“Nothing is going on maria I just dont feel like talking”
“When you dont feel like talking it usually has something to do with the max factor. Oh god dont tell me he's dating Tess!” maria said frantically.
“No he's not dating tess. I talked to him on the phone last night”
“And? Spill the details girl”
“Well I think we are more then just friends now” Liz said softly.
“What! When did this happen??” maria asked curiously, she was completely clueless and had no idea what was going on.
“ When he kissed me. He kissed me a while ago when were at my house studying and then it all changed at the dance. Now Tess knows and she is totally flipping out, and my parents..they think Max is worst possible person ever to be around. they just dont like him for some reason”
“your parents are definetly weird. And I would so watch your step sister like a hawk or she will snatch max up like prey.”
“ I know” Liz said softly. they pulled up to michael's and michael came running out. His foster father was yelling at him as he rean out the door.
“hey” he said kissing Maria as he climbed into the back.
“Another day of boring school.” Michael said. maria completely ignored him.
“are we ignoring each other now?” Liz asked looking over at michael.
“I dont know she's been like this since last night” Michael said .
“ I saw you with her last night” Maria blurted out.
“Her? What are you talking about maria?” Michael asked curiously.
“you know who I am talking about. The blond bimbo named courtney”
“Me and courtney are just friends.”
”yeah right”maria said Glancing at him through the rearview mirrior.
“I told her about you and how I feel about you. I would never cheat on you”
“ I will keep what you just said in mind. And I will keep an close eye on courtney”
“So you believe me?”
“For now” maria said smiling.
Liz loved Maria and Michael. they had one of those relationships where they couldnt be without each other but they couldnt stand each other.
“So Liz are you and maxwell and Item Now” michael asked Liz.
“That is yet to be determined” Liz replied.
“Thats a yes Mickey G” Maria said smiling.
“Good! I was realy sick of seeing max pout and have that love sick puppy dog look on his face. you should of seen him last night. I bet he didnt get a wink of sleep last night because all he could think about was you” Liz was hoping he was right. Because all Liz thought was max last night. She even dreamed about him. But she could only remember bits and pieces of the dream. Liz laid her head back on the seat thinking. She wanted to be more then friends with max. She wanted it more then anything after that Kiss in the courtyard. They pulled up in front of the school.
“ Here we go” maria said as she put the car in park and climbed out.
Liz looked over and saw max walking up to the front of the school and not far behind him was her evil step sister tess. 'good can she look anymore trashy!' liz thought. her skirt was so short you could practically see everything. And her top! Her boobs looked like they were about to fall out. she was trying way to hard to get max. 'why max?' liz thought as she heard the bell ring for first period. 'this is going to be a long day' liz thought.
This was going to be a long day. A day that feels like everything is dragging you down. tess Comes Running up to me and grabs my arm. yep its one of those days and tess was the thing thats going to drag me down. God! Can she seem anymore obvious by whats she's wearing.
“tess what are you doing?” I asked as she smiled and linked arms with me.
“ I thought we could walkto first period together” She said smiling and gigling. I pulled my arm away from her.
“I know what your doing” I said.
“Ok what am I doing? Ohhh..wait a minute I know what this is about” tess said looking over at Liz who was walking behind us.
“ forget it I'm Not interested” I said pulling away from her.
“ it would be horrible If her daddy finds out about you two” Liz came up to tess and Pulled her by the arm.
“What are you doing!” tess yelled.
“ Why are you doing this!”Liz yelled.I stepped in between them. Keeping Liz from doign something she would regret later.
“Liz she isnt worth it” Everyone in the hall was staring at us.
“Your right she isnt” Liz said softly.
Tess stomped off in a huff. I walked by Liz's side.The tardy bell rang and everyone hurried to class. Both I and Liz hurried into our first period class. We had geometry together. Everyone was looking at us and whispering. Liz Hid behind her geometry book. She knew people would start spreading rumours. West Roswell High was known for rumours. I mouthed to Liz 'dont worry' she shook her head ok in reply.
several hours later -
Lunch had just started, Isabel was sitting with her usual girl group laughing and carrying on about things in the high school world. She noticed Liz and stopped her dead in her tracks and pulled her to the table with her girl pals.
“So whats this about you and kyle?” She asked as all her friends listened in.
“Umm Isabel I really dont want to talk about it” Liz replied trying to walk away.
“Is it true that right after he broke up with you , you hooked up with Iz's brother??” Tracy bing said smiling. Tracy bing was always the one that started every nasty rumour in school.
“Thats none of your business” Liz replied.
“Tracy! Stop being so nosey! Anyways My brother thinks the world of Liz here. You know he's so crazy about you.”
“Me and max are just friends right now” Tracy laughed and replied.
“If your friends then why were you caught making out with him in the courtyard At the dance?” Tracy said smiling.
“Who told you that?” Liz asked curiously.
“Ohh a blond that really hates you and happens to be your step sister” Anger fueled in Liz.
“ I'm Not talking about this anymore. Me and max are just friends Nothing more!” Liz yelled, isabel looked over and seen max standing there.
“ Well if max didnt know that he does now” tracy replied as she pointed behind Liz. Liz turned and saw max standing there. Max Looked at her with this sad face and walked away. Liz followed him down the hall.
How could she do this! After she practically told me on the phone she wanted to more then friends.

Max! Please wait!” Liz yelled at me as I stopped at the end of the hall.
“Liz you need to make up your mind! First you go tell me you want to be with me and then you go and tell my sister and her pathedic excuse for friends that you dont want to be with me!” I yelled at her.
“I dont know what I want! God! Max We've been friends for years! And Now I think of you more then a friend! I'm so confused! Ever since you first kissed I've been off balance.”
“ Who said we couldnt be more then just friends? there is no rule that is stoping us! Your afraid! Afraid that you will fall for me even more! And that your parents will hate you for it!” Liz started to cry. I wanted to hold her and comfort her. But I was so angry I couldnt even look at her. I decided to give Liz a choice.
“Liz, you have to decide what you want. We either be friends or we become more then friends. I want both I can handle both. But its your decision. When you make let me know” I said as I walked off.I knew it would be hard for her to make a decision like this. I wanted more from her. I want to be able to love as a friend and a girlfriend. I knew Tess would be a big factor in all this. She has had her on eye me ever since I could remember. Tess has always been the girl that gets what she wants, and she would do anything to get it. As I walked down the hall tess came up to me.
“ whats wrong?” She asked as if she was concerned.
“ Nothing and if there was it would be none of your business” I said trying to get her away from me.
“ Having trouble with Liz?”
“ No” I replied quickly.
“ Want to talk about it?” She asked.
“No! Not to you or not to anyone! God! your so pathedic!” I said walking away.
“Me Pathedic! Look at you thinking you Love her! Your like a sad little lost puppy dog!” I completely ignored her and kept walking. I prayed to the gods that day would end soon! I wanted to shoot myself so I could get out of this misery I am feeling!

“maria, she was freaking about something michael did”
“Ohh ok have a good day at school” Liz hated lying to her father but it was something she had to do. Maria blarred the horn of her Jetta. liz quickly ran out to the car.
“Hurry up girl were gonna be late! I have to pick up Michael's lazy butt!” maria yelled as liz got in the car. liz was slient the whole way to michael's. Maria knew something was up.
“Something is going on” maria said softly.
“Nothing is going on maria I just dont feel like talking”
“When you dont feel like talking it usually has something to do with the max factor. Oh god dont tell me he's dating Tess!” maria said frantically.
“No he's not dating tess. I talked to him on the phone last night”
“And? Spill the details girl”
“Well I think we are more then just friends now” Liz said softly.
“What! When did this happen??” maria asked curiously, she was completely clueless and had no idea what was going on.
“ When he kissed me. He kissed me a while ago when were at my house studying and then it all changed at the dance. Now Tess knows and she is totally flipping out, and my parents..they think Max is worst possible person ever to be around. they just dont like him for some reason”
“your parents are definetly weird. And I would so watch your step sister like a hawk or she will snatch max up like prey.”
“ I know” Liz said softly. they pulled up to michael's and michael came running out. His foster father was yelling at him as he rean out the door.
“hey” he said kissing Maria as he climbed into the back.
“Another day of boring school.” Michael said. maria completely ignored him.
“are we ignoring each other now?” Liz asked looking over at michael.
“I dont know she's been like this since last night” Michael said .
“ I saw you with her last night” Maria blurted out.
“Her? What are you talking about maria?” Michael asked curiously.
“you know who I am talking about. The blond bimbo named courtney”
“Me and courtney are just friends.”
”yeah right”maria said Glancing at him through the rearview mirrior.
“I told her about you and how I feel about you. I would never cheat on you”
“ I will keep what you just said in mind. And I will keep an close eye on courtney”
“So you believe me?”
“For now” maria said smiling.
Liz loved Maria and Michael. they had one of those relationships where they couldnt be without each other but they couldnt stand each other.
“So Liz are you and maxwell and Item Now” michael asked Liz.
“That is yet to be determined” Liz replied.
“Thats a yes Mickey G” Maria said smiling.
“Good! I was realy sick of seeing max pout and have that love sick puppy dog look on his face. you should of seen him last night. I bet he didnt get a wink of sleep last night because all he could think about was you” Liz was hoping he was right. Because all Liz thought was max last night. She even dreamed about him. But she could only remember bits and pieces of the dream. Liz laid her head back on the seat thinking. She wanted to be more then friends with max. She wanted it more then anything after that Kiss in the courtyard. They pulled up in front of the school.
“ Here we go” maria said as she put the car in park and climbed out.
Liz looked over and saw max walking up to the front of the school and not far behind him was her evil step sister tess. 'good can she look anymore trashy!' liz thought. her skirt was so short you could practically see everything. And her top! Her boobs looked like they were about to fall out. she was trying way to hard to get max. 'why max?' liz thought as she heard the bell ring for first period. 'this is going to be a long day' liz thought.
This was going to be a long day. A day that feels like everything is dragging you down. tess Comes Running up to me and grabs my arm. yep its one of those days and tess was the thing thats going to drag me down. God! Can she seem anymore obvious by whats she's wearing.
“tess what are you doing?” I asked as she smiled and linked arms with me.
“ I thought we could walkto first period together” She said smiling and gigling. I pulled my arm away from her.
“I know what your doing” I said.
“Ok what am I doing? Ohhh..wait a minute I know what this is about” tess said looking over at Liz who was walking behind us.
“ forget it I'm Not interested” I said pulling away from her.
“ it would be horrible If her daddy finds out about you two” Liz came up to tess and Pulled her by the arm.
“What are you doing!” tess yelled.
“ Why are you doing this!”Liz yelled.I stepped in between them. Keeping Liz from doign something she would regret later.
“Liz she isnt worth it” Everyone in the hall was staring at us.
“Your right she isnt” Liz said softly.
Tess stomped off in a huff. I walked by Liz's side.The tardy bell rang and everyone hurried to class. Both I and Liz hurried into our first period class. We had geometry together. Everyone was looking at us and whispering. Liz Hid behind her geometry book. She knew people would start spreading rumours. West Roswell High was known for rumours. I mouthed to Liz 'dont worry' she shook her head ok in reply.
several hours later -
Lunch had just started, Isabel was sitting with her usual girl group laughing and carrying on about things in the high school world. She noticed Liz and stopped her dead in her tracks and pulled her to the table with her girl pals.
“So whats this about you and kyle?” She asked as all her friends listened in.
“Umm Isabel I really dont want to talk about it” Liz replied trying to walk away.
“Is it true that right after he broke up with you , you hooked up with Iz's brother??” Tracy bing said smiling. Tracy bing was always the one that started every nasty rumour in school.
“Thats none of your business” Liz replied.
“Tracy! Stop being so nosey! Anyways My brother thinks the world of Liz here. You know he's so crazy about you.”
“Me and max are just friends right now” Tracy laughed and replied.
“If your friends then why were you caught making out with him in the courtyard At the dance?” Tracy said smiling.
“Who told you that?” Liz asked curiously.
“Ohh a blond that really hates you and happens to be your step sister” Anger fueled in Liz.
“ I'm Not talking about this anymore. Me and max are just friends Nothing more!” Liz yelled, isabel looked over and seen max standing there.
“ Well if max didnt know that he does now” tracy replied as she pointed behind Liz. Liz turned and saw max standing there. Max Looked at her with this sad face and walked away. Liz followed him down the hall.
How could she do this! After she practically told me on the phone she wanted to more then friends.
“
Max! Please wait!” Liz yelled at me as I stopped at the end of the hall.
“Liz you need to make up your mind! First you go tell me you want to be with me and then you go and tell my sister and her pathedic excuse for friends that you dont want to be with me!” I yelled at her.
“I dont know what I want! God! Max We've been friends for years! And Now I think of you more then a friend! I'm so confused! Ever since you first kissed I've been off balance.”
“ Who said we couldnt be more then just friends? there is no rule that is stoping us! Your afraid! Afraid that you will fall for me even more! And that your parents will hate you for it!” Liz started to cry. I wanted to hold her and comfort her. But I was so angry I couldnt even look at her. I decided to give Liz a choice.
“Liz, you have to decide what you want. We either be friends or we become more then friends. I want both I can handle both. But its your decision. When you make let me know” I said as I walked off.I knew it would be hard for her to make a decision like this. I wanted more from her. I want to be able to love as a friend and a girlfriend. I knew Tess would be a big factor in all this. She has had her on eye me ever since I could remember. Tess has always been the girl that gets what she wants, and she would do anything to get it. As I walked down the hall tess came up to me.
“ whats wrong?” She asked as if she was concerned.
“ Nothing and if there was it would be none of your business” I said trying to get her away from me.
“ Having trouble with Liz?”
“ No” I replied quickly.
“ Want to talk about it?” She asked.
“No! Not to you or not to anyone! God! your so pathedic!” I said walking away.
“Me Pathedic! Look at you thinking you Love her! Your like a sad little lost puppy dog!” I completely ignored her and kept walking. I prayed to the gods that day would end soon! I wanted to shoot myself so I could get out of this misery I am feeling!

Liz Sat in her room Staring at the telephone. She debating whether she should call him or go see him. She Laid back down on her bed. She was going crazy! Max really did want her, more then anything in the world. And her she was thinking maybe it wasnt worth it. Maybe being his girlfriend wasnt worth loosing her friendship.
maria watched me pace back and fourth in the living room.
“ your telling me your making Liz decide between friendship and an actual relationship?? max what the hell is wrong with you!” Maria yelled at me.
“ Maria, I still want to be her friend But I want more! I want all of her! The best friend aspects and The girlfriend Aspects of her!” I yelled as I plopped down on the couch in frustration.
“Geez you really have it bad now dont you”
”Yess I do, I think about her every single day.” I replied.
“wow! does she know about this?”
“she knows how I feel”
“But the question is do you love her? have you said those three little words to her? sweep her off her feet” Maria said smiling.
“what about the whole tess thing?” I asked.
“Oh dont worry about that, Me and Michael will take care of her” maria said with a vicious little evil grin on her face.
“I'm afraid to ask what your going to do”
“oh we wont hurt her or anything will just makesure she doesnt get whats she wants”
“her and kyle would make a great couple” I said laughing imaging them two together.
“yeah they would, enough about them! Let me know the whole situation with you and Liz. I gotta run, I'm meeting Michael down at the crashown.” Maria Hugged me tightly and quickly left. I went up to my room hoping and praying liz would call.
As I entered My room I saw Liz crawling through my bedroom window.
“Liz?” I said curiously.
“Max We need to talk”

Chapter 5
It seemed like we had been talking for hours. Liz made up her mind. She Smiled at max as she laid her head on the head board of the bed.
“ Are we doing the right thing? I mean I dont want our friendship to be affected max” She said softly.
“I think so” I said softly moving closer to her on the bed and taking my hand in her's.
“ god this seems so unreal” She said.
“Its real” I wanted this for so long and I am glad that Liz wanted this.
“so when will we have our first date?” She asked me. I had completely forgot about the first date. i smiled and brushed her hair away from her face.
“How about this weekend, you me and a movie”
“Sure” She whispered softly as she leaned in and kissed me softly on the cheek. The slightest touch of her's affected me so much. I leaned in and brushed my lips across her's. She laughed a little and smiled.
“ did I ever tell you your a good kisser?” She said smiling and laughing.
“No, but you can tell me now” I said as I kissed her. we were getting caught up in the moment. We wanted each other so badly. But I didnt want to go to far to the point of no return. I wanted to wait until liz was ready. Liz suddenly stopped aware we were going to far.
“I have to go” She said softly out of breath.
“Now? Stay” I said wanting her even more.
“ I cant My parents will be looking for me.”
“And if they find you here they will freak. Better go then”
“one kiss?” She said smiling as she planted a quick kiss on my lips. And quickly left my room.
When Liz got back to here house she quickly darted in hoping he parents didnt know she was gone. As she quickly went through the living room she didnt even notice her father and tess sitting there.
“Lizzie” He said in a stern voice that made Liz jump.
“Dad! i didnt even see you there” Liz said as she stopped at the bottom of the stairs.
“Where were you?” he asked in a stern voice.
“I was with Maria at the crashdown” Liz said the evil little grin on tess's face. she was busted tess told him everything.
“ your lying” he said as he got up and faced his daughter. liz looked down knowing she was caught and it was all tess's fault.
“you wouldnt be like this if mom was still here. She thought the world of max” Liz said softly.
“Your mom isnt here. your mom is gone! And I dont want you seeing that boy again! Liz he will ruin your future! Dont you want to go to college forefull your dream of being a doctor”
“Those are your dreams! Not mine! I dont want to be a doctor! And being with max wont stop me from my dreams!”
“Are you sleeping with him??” 'where the hell did that question come from?' liz thought. she turned and looked at tess who tried to look so innocent.
“Who told you I was sleeping with max? Did she tell you that! She is a liar! your going to believe her over me!” Liz yelled as she ran up stairs.
“get back down here now! I am not through talking to you! Your 16 years old! You dont know anything about Love! This is just some kind of fling!”Her father yelled.
Liz slammed the door on her fathers face. She laid on her bed and cried. if her mother was here she would understand. Tess's mother never gave a dam about her. Now her father was starting to side with tess.
Liz cried all night, she Looked up at the clock and it said midnight. She knew max would still be awake. She Reached over and shut her light off and made it look like she went to bed. She then climbed out her bedroom window and down the side of her house. She got half way down and fell hard onto the ground. She was happy her house wasnt any higher or she would of killed herself. She scraped her arms and legs up pretty bad from all the brush and stuff around her house that tess's mother put there.
Liz quickly then ran the couple of blocks to max's house. When she got his bedroom window she was suprised to see that he was actually sleeping. She went up to the window and tapped on the glass.
I was startled by the tapping on the glass. I turned the light on and looked over and saw Liz at the window.
“Liz?”I said softly concerned. She never comes to my window at this time unless something drastic has happened.
“I hate them!” She whispered softly as she climbed through the window.
“hate who?” I asked curiously.
“ My father, my step mother, my step sister! They are ruining everything!” She yelled. I saw the tears in her eyes. I slowly grabbed her face wiped the tears away.

Its ok, tell me what happened” I said Running My fingers through her soft hair.
“ Tess Lied to them, They are taking her side over mine! God! I wish..I wish my mother was here. you know she thought you were the best thing to come into my life.”
“Really?” i said softly not knowing until now. I always liked her mother.
“When she died..she told me to follow my heart.” She whispered softly.
“ your mother was a good woman, she raised you to become who you are.” I said trying to comfort her as much as i could. Her mother's death was the hardest thing to deal with in her life. liz hugged me tightly and cried on my shoulder.
“ My father doesnt want me to see you. He says you will ruin my life” How could I ruin her life? How could I ruin a perfect angel?
“ I would never purposely hurt you Liz you know that. And I would never ruin your life”
“I know” She whispered into my shoulder. I suddenly heard Footsteps in the hall.
“shhh” I said Knowing that my parents might be walking down the hall.
The footsteps disappeared, good I thought I would get busted for having Liz in my room.
“ I cant stay here, your parents will freak” Liz said.
“ Stay, I want you to stay” I said looking into her eyes.
“ I cant” liz said softly. I leaned in and kissed her, hoping that would make her stay.
“Now will you stay” I asked.
“Ok” Liz said wiping her eyes. I could see she was nervous, she had never spent the night with a guy before. I was even more nervous because I had never spent the night with a girl before. Liz laid down In My bed and curled up under the covers. I laid down next to her on the other side of the bed. She knew it wouldnt go no farther then sleep.
“Goodnight Liz” I said softly in her ear. She quickly fell asleep.

chapter 6 -
The next morning, Liz's step mother walked into her room to wake her up. She looked in and was ready to scream at liz to get up when she noticed the bed hadnt been slept in. She quickly went back to her room where her husband was.
I slowly opened my eyes. I found Liz curled up next to me in bed. Her head was buried under the covers. I didnt want to disturb her she looked so peaceful. She slowly stirred and Moved closer to me.
“Liz” i said softly brushing her hair away from her face. She stirred once more.
“ I'm cold” She said said softly as she pulled the blankets up over her.
“ you have to go before my parents come in here” I said softly getting up.
“ I'm comfortable” She said laying her head on my shoulder.
I looked over at the clock and realized it said 10 am. My parents were long gone at work. they had a big important case next week, so they have been spending there weekends in the office.
“never mind about you leaving. I realized my parents are at work” I said getting comfortable once again and closing my eyes.
Mr parker searched through liz's address book and found max's number. He knew thats where she was. He grabbed the phone and quickly dialed the number.
“She's in so much trouble” Mr parker said.
“ I would ground her for all enternity” Liz's step mother said.
The Ringing of the phone pulled me awake. I quickly grabbed the phone and answered it.
“hello” I said tiredly into the phone.
“max its mr parker where is my daughter” Mr parker said into the phone. I looked over at Liz, and mouthed , “its your father”. Liz started to panic she quickly jumped out of bed.
“Umm I dont know where she is” I lied and I hate lying.
“you know exactly where she is! If she is with you tell her to get her butt home now! And Also I want to see, and have a word with you”
“OK mr parker” I said as I hung up.
“Oh god! Oh god! he's going to kill me!” Liz said frantically.
“He wants to talk to me.” I suddenly felt sick to my stomach.
“he wants to talk you only means more trouble!”Liz yelled frantically as she paced back and fourth in front of the bed.
“ Will he ask if we are...sleeping..together?” I asked curiously.
“he Already asked that” Liz said.
“Well techinically we did sleep together..but didnt sleep together” I said laughing.
“this is no joke! Stop laughing! He hates you! He doesnt think your good enough for me! God! He's going to send me away I know it!” Liz yelled. Suddenly Isabel came brusting into my room yawning.
“Who the hell is...” She looked over and saw Liz.
“ Nevermind, I dont want to know” She said walking back out of my room.
“I have to go talk to her” I said as I followed isabel out to the kitchen.
“ I dont want to know max, all i want to do is have breakfast and have a peaceful saturday morning” Isabel said as she pulled out a carton of orange juice.
“We didnt do what you think we did. we just slept” I said knowing that came out way wrong.
“ Slept? yeah right!” isabel said laughing.
“She was upset last night”
“ you know mom and dad will freak if they find out about this”
“They wont as long as you dont tell them”
“Its going to take alot to keep that kind of secret”
“What do you want then?” i asked curiously.
“Well..there is alot of the things I want”
“Just tell me” I said.
“well you see..what I want i cant have because maria has it.” isabel replied.
“What? what could maria have that you possibly could...” She then raised her eyebrows and gave me one of those faces as she sipped on her glass of oj.
“Oh I see well you see I'm not going to break up Michael and maria, its not worth it”
“ Oh I know, besides your secret is safe with me anyways”
“And you really have a thing for michael?” I asked curiously.
“Well I did until he started dating maria. And I happen to like maria and I dont want to break them up”
“If you did maria would kill you” I said seeing what maria's actions would be if she found out that my sister has a thing for her boyfriend.
Liz came out of my room, she smiled at isabel who was in her tweety bird pj's.
“Well I will leave you two alone” she said as she took her juice into her room.
“ are you ready to be killed” liz said softly.
“not really” I said. I actually wanted to shoot myself right then and there. because I already knew what her father and step mother would say to me. Me and Liz havent even been together as couple for a week and already I see a neon sign flashing danger straight ahead!
the end is near! how can it end when it hasnt even begun, can one person end what we have? Can her father and step mother and step sister really affect two peoples lives? God! I feel like I'm falling off a cliff and tumbling towards the ground! I prayed sliently hoping this would go smoothly.
“I'm going to go change be right back” I said I went into my room and pulled on the nearst clothes I could find. I didnt care if they were dirty or clean it didnt matter. I quickly dressed and we headed to her house. I sliently prayed again. Please let me get through this without getting killed by her father!
The next morning, Liz's step mother walked into her room to wake her up. She looked in and was ready to scream at liz to get up when she noticed the bed hadnt been slept in. She quickly went back to her room where her husband was.
I slowly opened my eyes. I found Liz curled up next to me in bed. Her head was buried under the covers. I didnt want to disturb her she looked so peaceful. She slowly stirred and Moved closer to me.
“Liz” i said softly brushing her hair away from her face. She stirred once more.
“ I'm cold” She said said softly as she pulled the blankets up over her.
“ you have to go before my parents come in here” I said softly getting up.
“ I'm comfortable” She said laying her head on my shoulder.
I looked over at the clock and realized it said 10 am. My parents were long gone at work. they had a big important case next week, so they have been spending there weekends in the office.
“never mind about you leaving. I realized my parents are at work” I said getting comfortable once again and closing my eyes.
Mr parker searched through liz's address book and found max's number. He knew thats where she was. He grabbed the phone and quickly dialed the number.
“She's in so much trouble” Mr parker said.
“ I would ground her for all enternity” Liz's step mother said.
The Ringing of the phone pulled me awake. I quickly grabbed the phone and answered it.
“hello” I said tiredly into the phone.
“max its mr parker where is my daughter” Mr parker said into the phone. I looked over at Liz, and mouthed , “its your father”. Liz started to panic she quickly jumped out of bed.
“Umm I dont know where she is” I lied and I hate lying.
“you know exactly where she is! If she is with you tell her to get her butt home now! And Also I want to see, and have a word with you”
“OK mr parker” I said as I hung up.
“Oh god! Oh god! he's going to kill me!” Liz said frantically.
“He wants to talk to me.” I suddenly felt sick to my stomach.
“he wants to talk you only means more trouble!”Liz yelled frantically as she paced back and fourth in front of the bed.
“ Will he ask if we are...sleeping..together?” I asked curiously.
“he Already asked that” Liz said.
“Well techinically we did sleep together..but didnt sleep together” I said laughing.
“this is no joke! Stop laughing! He hates you! He doesnt think your good enough for me! God! He's going to send me away I know it!” Liz yelled. Suddenly Isabel came brusting into my room yawning.
“Who the hell is...” She looked over and saw Liz.
“ Nevermind, I dont want to know” She said walking back out of my room.
“I have to go talk to her” I said as I followed isabel out to the kitchen.
“ I dont want to know max, all i want to do is have breakfast and have a peaceful saturday morning” Isabel said as she pulled out a carton of orange juice.
“We didnt do what you think we did. we just slept” I said knowing that came out way wrong.
“ Slept? yeah right!” isabel said laughing.
“She was upset last night”
“ you know mom and dad will freak if they find out about this”
“They wont as long as you dont tell them”
“Its going to take alot to keep that kind of secret”
“What do you want then?” i asked curiously.
“Well..there is alot of the things I want”
“Just tell me” I said.
“well you see..what I want i cant have because maria has it.” isabel replied.
“What? what could maria have that you possibly could...” She then raised her eyebrows and gave me one of those faces as she sipped on her glass of oj.
“Oh I see well you see I'm not going to break up Michael and maria, its not worth it”
“ Oh I know, besides your secret is safe with me anyways”
“And you really have a thing for michael?” I asked curiously.
“Well I did until he started dating maria. And I happen to like maria and I dont want to break them up”
“If you did maria would kill you” I said seeing what maria's actions would be if she found out that my sister has a thing for her boyfriend.
Liz came out of my room, she smiled at isabel who was in her tweety bird pj's.
“Well I will leave you two alone” she said as she took her juice into her room.

chapter 7-
It seemed like an enternity. Liz was in the back room of her house with her step mother and father for the longest time. I could hear them arguing.
“Dad! We didnt do anything wrong!” Liz yelled.
“I dont care! Liz your acting irresponisble! What's going to happen is he is going to break your heart! He may be your best friend Lizzie but you have a future to think about!”
“Dad please! I think I love max!”
Did she just say what I thought I heard her say? i sat there in slience Knowing that My turn was next.
“you dont know what love is! Go to your room and stay there until I tell you to come out!” Liz ran up stairs. mr parker came into the room where I was.
“Look mr parker..I just want to say that..” i sarted say but he interupted me.
“I dont care what you have to say. I dont want you seeing my daughter again you understand me? She cant get herself caught up with you! She has a bright future ahead of her! And your just in the way. If I catch you with my daughter or even looking at her She's off to boarding school in new york understand?”
“yes” I said softly as he pointed me towards the door. What was wrong with him, couldnt he see I was trying to make him understand. I started to leave but then I stopped myself. I turned to face him.
“Liz is beautiful girl with so much spirit. She needs me and if you do this she will never forgive you. And you will loose your only daughter”
I said as I left and closed the door behind me. I was so angry, so upset. God! put me out of misery! Its only been five minutes and already I want to die. There is no way I can stop myself from seeing her. I love her more then anything in the world. I kicked the dirt mad and frustrated.
Liz sat in her room crying her eyes out once again. What was wrong with her father! This was all tess's fault! Tess came into her room.
“ Well it seems like you might be going away after all” Tess smiled an evil grin.
“Its all your fault!” Liz yelled.
“I had nothing to do with it. I just eased them in the right direction. Have fun at boarding school” She laughed , waved by and shut the door behind her. Liz was so angry! She wasnt going anywhere! She threw a pillow at the door. She laid down on the bed and cried.
“I'll never forgive him for this!” She yelled.
One week later -
here I am In the library at school trying to write a history paper and all I can think about Is liz. I have been worried about her ever since her father told I could never to speak or look at her again. I havent seen her in at least a week. I look up and see maria coming towards me. She throws her book bag on the table and gives me one of those signature maria looks.
“you know what max?” She asked me. I looked at her confused and replied,
“What maria?”
“ I saw Liz last night.” She replied.
“How is she? Is she ok, I've been worried sick about her” I said.
“She's Fine But she misses you, She told me to give you this. I think she wants to meet you in the eraser room during sixth. And also I think I know just the right person to keep tess away. Well I gotta go Bye!” Maria said as she hugged me and hurried off. I took the note she gave me.
Maria caught up with Tess in the hall. She grabbed tess by the arm and walked with her down the hall.
“What are you doing maria?” Tess said confused by her actions.
“We need to talk” maria said.

Chapter 8
Tess Kept thinking about what Maria had said. What if it was max? A smile spread across her face as she tapped her pencil on the desk. She started to daydream. But she pulled back to reality when she realized the teacher was asking her a question.
Maria nudged Kyle in the shoulder. He turned to face her. Maria Never nudged him in the shoulder for no reason.
"What maria?" Kyle asked.
"I have to tell you something" Maria said with a smile.
"What?" He asked.
" Well rumour has it there is this hot girl who has a thing for you." Kyle looked at her suprised and gave her a look of interest.
"Keep talking, who is this hot girl" Kyle asked.
"Well I ... cant give out that information just yet. But I can arrange for you to meet her tonight at the crashdown, say uhh around 8?" Maria said.
"I'll be there" Kyle said with a smile on his face. Maria loved this! Now all she had to do was set everything up with tess and the plan was in motion.
When Six period came around I entered the eraser room. Liz was already there, she saw and Quickly jumped into my arms. God I missed her so much. I held her tightly. For as long as I've known Liz parker I have never felt this way about her before her. Its Like cant breath sometimes if she's not around.
" Are you ok? I was worried about you" I said touching her face.
"Im fine, I Just..." She pulled away. why did she pull away?
"Dont pull away from me Liz" I said softly. She started crying, I knew something was wrong. I knew It was something that would break my heart.
"Liz? tell me whats going on?" I asked. She turned to me with tears in her eyes.
" I dont want to do this, I dont want to leave" Liz said as she sat down in one of the empty chairs. She was leaving? What? No, I cant let her leave, we have been through so much together.
"Leaving?" I asked curiously.
"I'm going to boarding school in New york, I leave Next week" Liz said softly. Anger fueled in me.
"No, you cant leave not after everything, not after I know the way I feel about you" I said. She wiped her eyes and started to leave the eraser room. I stopped her, I couldnt let her leave.
"Max please dont do this, I have no choice its all set and done"
"your just going to give up on us? Does Michael, and maria know?" I asked.
"No" she whispered. I was so upset I left the eraser room. Tess got what she wanted and Liz let her have it.
I furiously walked down the hall. Michael passed me and I just ignored him. He followed me down the hall and stopped me.
"Whats going on maxwell?" he asked. I turned and looked at him anger in my eyes.
"She's leaving michael" I replied.
"What are you talking about who's leaving?" Michael asked curiously.
"Liz, she's going to boarding school next week" Anger raised in Michael's eyes.
"What!" he yelled.
It was Like Listening to her second father. Liz listened to michael ramble on and on, she couldnt get a word in edge wise on the phone.
"Michael I really dont want to talk about this" Liz said tiredly into the phone.
" Well I want to talk about it! And so does maria" Liz could hear maria's angry voice in the back ground.
"Give me that Phone Guerin!" She yelled into the phone.
"Maria I dont want to hear from you either" Liz said into the phone.
"This is stupid liz! Your just giving that Little tramp what she w ants! And your ruining my plan to hook her up with Kyle!" Liz held the phone back from her ear. Maria was Screaming into the phone.
"Look I'm sorry There is nothing I can do!" Liz said as she felt a headache coming on.
" yeah there is, you can say hell no I'm not going! Protest! Fight! scream! Runaway! Do something! I mean Liz, I dont want to have to attend to max's broken heart while your gone!" maria yelled.
"Maria can we talk about this tomorrow?" She asked.
"No we can not...!" Before maria could say another word there was a click. Maria gasped as she hung the phone up.
"That little witch hung up on me!" Maria said as she slammed down the phone.
"We have to do something Maria." Michael said.
"why am I always the one coming up with master plans?" Maria said turning towards him. Michael wrapped his arms around her and kissed her softly.
"because your smart and come up with the best plans" Maria smiled and kissed him. She looked over at the clock and saw time.
"I gotta go"
"Ohhh yeah your master plan in the works" michael said.
"Yeah and your coming with me guerin" maria pulling him out the door of his house.
Later that night -
Liz's father and step mother were out with friends. Tess was....well liz didnt give a dam where tess was. She laid there in her bed holding her favorite stuffed bear. The Pink bear with the bright red nose made her think of max. Max gave it to her on valentines day one year. There was a soft knock on her bedroom window. She looked over and saw max.
"Max what are you doing here? Please I dont want to..." she said as she opened the window.
"Liz just listen to me ok." he said softly.
"I'm listening"
There was a million things I wanted to say to her. I just stood there looking at her. I couldnt find the words to say.
"Im waiting" she said softly
"sorry, its just That I ...dont want you to go. If you leave I will be loosing the one most important thing in my life and I will be loosing my first love." I said she smiled softly.
" Look max..." I stopped her from saying another word.
" Just dont say anything" I said as I grabbed her and kissed her passionetly. I dont know what I was thinking at the moment. I guess...I was caught up in the momemt. I wanted a piece of her before she left. Something I could hold onto so That My heart wouldnt be broken anymore then what it is. Suddenly Liz heard footsteps.
"Shit! My father is home!" She said as she kissed me once again.
"Can you come to my house later?" I asked her softly.
"I'll be there" she shut the window and I quickly left. I know that I will miss her deepply. But there had to be some way I could keep her in roswell. There must be! I'll have to talk to Master mind Maria deluca. She was always good at coming up with plans and how to solve sitituations and problems.
Michael watched Kyle and tess sitting in the crashdown. They were actually liking each other. Tess was laughing at Kyles' stupid jokes. Maria came up beside Michael peeped out the door.
"its worked!" Maria said with a giggle.
" yeah it did but how long will it last until she starts thinking about max again" Michael said as he popped open a bottle of snapple.
"It best last for a very long time!" Michael looked over and saw Max coming in through the back door.
"What the hell are you doing here?" Michael asked.
" Maria I need you to come up with a good plan" Max said plopping down on the couch.
"For?" Maria aske curiously.
"To keep Liz in roswell" Maria smiled and sat down next to max.
"Oh well that I can do "
"We have until next week" Max said. Maria frowned.
"Well thats too short but it will do."
"It better be a good plan maria, and it better work" Max said.
"Oh it will work trust me. Thats if you dont come with something better." maria said as she patted max on the leg.
"Thanks" max said as he laid his head back on the couch.
"Your so welcome dear friend. Anything for you and Lizzie come on we have work to do" Maria said as she pulled Max up off the couch.
"Now, we need come up with something great" Maria said as she stood there thinking. Michael sipped on his snapple and chimed in.
"Why dont you two just runaway together" He blurted out. Maria turned to him and smiled.
"Guerin that would make things worse!" Maria yelled.
" you guys thanks for your help But I'll figure something out" Max said as he quickly darted out of the crashdown.
" You dont think he's going to take my idea to heart?" Michael asked.
"I dont know But if he does he's crazy!" maria yelled.
The more I think about it The more I realize that Michael's Idea was the best idea. If Running away is what it takes to keep her from doing then thats what I have to do. When I got home my parents were sound asleep on the couch. I quickly darted upstairs. When I entered my room I found Liz curled up on my bed half way alseep.
"Liz?" I whispered. She turned and smiled at me and sat up.
" Max I realized I dont want to go. I dont want to leave you" I sat on my bed with her and she wrapped her arms around me.
" I dont want you to leave, I love you Liz" Liz Looked at me and smiled. She kissed me softly. I wanted her more then anything in the world. God the feel of her skin against mine and the smell of her hair was intoxicating. Before I knew it things were going further out of our control.
"Max, make love to me" Liz whispered in my ear. Those words... They....they I dont know I'm so..out of it right now. But I dont know If I should do this? I mean is she really ready for this? I dont even have protection.
"Liz I...." She puts a finger to my mouth and keeps me from talking. My heart is beating fast. I feel like I cant breath. This is out of my control.
"Dont say a word just Kiss me. I want you more then anything right now" She said as she Pulled her shirt off. God Im going crazy. I kissed her knowing that this was it. Things between us were going to be cemented. There was no turning back now. My Mind is jumbled. I've never really done this before. I know she was Nervous and she could tell I was nervous.
The next Morning -
Maria was awakened By her mother barging into her room. maria Jumped up and rubbed her head.
"Whats going on?" She asked.
"Maria do you know where Liz is? She is missing" Amy Deluca asked.
"Umm No Last time I knew she was in school." Maria said.
"Well her father went to wake her up and she wasnt in her room"
"Ok and you just assume I know where she is?"
"Yes! Her father is downstairs worried sick about her!"
" I have no idea where she is at" Maria In the back of her mind probably knew where she was at but she wasnt going to give out that info to her best friends father that would be like betraying her best friend.
"Maria I seriously hope your not lying to me" Amy deluca said.
"Mom I'm not lying, I talked to her on the phone yesterday. But I havent seen her" Maria said laying back down.
"Ok I believe you, but if you do see her or talk to her, let her know she's in big trouble"
"Will do!" Maria said as she acted like she was sleeping. When her Mother left the room she quickly grabbed her cell phone. She dialed Liz's Number. It rang four times and went to voicemail.
"Dam!" Maria said. Then she dialed Max's Number.
Sleep and The fact that I spent the night with the most beautiful girl was still on my mind. I was pulled away from sleep when I heard my phone go off. I quickly reached over and answered it.
"Hello" I said softly trying to not wake liz, all I could hear was maria's voice in the phone. I quickly went to the bathroom with the phone.
"Whats going on maria?" I asked.
"Liz's father is looking for her! Is she with you?" Maria asked.
"yeah" I said.
" you better get her butt back here! And she better have a good excuse as to why she wasnt in her bed Last night!" Maria said as she hung up. I left the bathroom and went back into the room. Liz stirred softly under the sheets. I crawled back into bed with her.
"Where did you go?" She asked.
" you have to go your father is looking for you" I said kissing her cheek.
"How do you..." She looked down and saw the phone in my hand.
"Maria" I said softly.
"Shit!" Liz said as she quickly got up to find her clothes.
"Liz" I said softly trying to help her find her clothes.
"What? I have to find my clothes and thank god your parents arent home" Lz said as she gathered her clothes up.
"Yeah thank god" I said as I pulled her back to bed.
"No! I have to go! We cant do this!" She yelled as I kissed her shoulders and neck.
" I dont want you to go" I said.
" Max If I dont go..." I kissed her and she fell for it. She kissed back. She wasnt going to leave now. She pulled away.
"No, I have to go" L:iz said as she gathered her clothes and went into the bathroom.
Liz quickly Bolted into her house. Her step mother and Father were waiting for her in the living room.
"Where the hell have you been?" Her father asked.
" Ohh well I was Studying at a friends house and it got late so I just crashed at her house" It was the best lie ever. But the way her step mother looked at her , it was as if she could see right through her lie.
"Your Lying" her father said. Liz's step mother touched her father's arm.
"Why would I lie?" Liz asked.
"I dont know because you've been doing alot of that lately"
" Can we just drop this, I'm doing what you want by going to boarding school." Liz said.
"Fine we will drop it. But tonight we are having a long talk"
"whatever" Liz said as she bolted upstairs. she ploppd down on her bed and relived the nights events. The way max touched her was....uncrediable. She knew it was his first time too but It felt so...right. Thinking about it made her tingle all over. Things he whispered to her were pure bliss as he touched her. She had no idea Max had such a great body. She smiled with delight. Suddenly the phone rang and she quickly answered it.
"helllooo" She said as she tried not to laugh.
"you did with max didnt you!" Maria yelled into the phone.
"Maria that is none of your business!" Liz said.
"ohh it so is! Tell me what it was like! I mean was it good?"
"maria I'm not saying anything because its none of your business"
"But Liz were best friends! your suppose to share this with me!"
"Maria I gotta go"
" Fine, Meet me at the crashdown so we can talk"
"Ok fine Bye" Liz hung the phone up. She was Glowing as she looked at herself in the mirror. She couldnt believe it.
" My first was amazing" Liz whispered as she looked at herself in the mirror. In deed it was amazing. She giggled and quickly left the room and went downstairs. She went downstairs and bumped into her step mother.
" I know you were with him all night " she said as she laid the laundry basket down.
"What?" Liz tried to play dumb.
"Dont play dumb. I wont tell your father because I know it will upset him"
"Thanks" Liz said as she left the house. She headed to the crashdown. She wasnt looking forwarded to being bombarded with questions from maria Deluca. 'she probably already told michael' liz thought.
I came downstairs and found my sister stretching in the kitchen. She looked at me weirdly.
"What?" I said as he bit into a muffin.
"There is something different about you" She said looking at me curiously.
" I dont know what your talking about, its the same old me" I said. Isabel could sometimes see right through me.
"yeah right, you did it with liz last night didnt you?" she asked. I choked on my muffin.
"No" I said choking on my muffin.
" yeah t right sure."
" Stay out of My personal life iz" I said with a smile.
" Ohh My brother is all grown up!" She said pinching my cheeks.
"Ok that was scary dont ever do that again!"
" your Face lights up everytime I saw her name" Isabel said.
"No it doesnt" I said.
"Liz parker" I couldnt help but smile I tried to hide it.
"there! I knew it!" Isabel said jumping up and down.
"Ok! God ! Make a big deal out it!" I said. sometimes I can hate my sister.
"I dont really care what you and liz do, as long as I dont see it and Dont hear it!" she said as she ran out the door.
"Yeah very funny" I said. Michael came walking past isabel.
"Hey" she said stopping to greet him.
"Hey, going for a run?" he asked.
"yeah, max is the house. He had an exhausting night" isabel said as she waved by to michael. Michael Headed up to the house and entered. He saw The look on Max;'s face when he entered the living room. Something was up, max was acting way to weird for him.
"you did with Liz didnt you!" Michael said as he plopped down next to max on the couch.
"What? does everyone know what happened last night."
" you have the classic signs." Michael said.
Boy before I know the whole town of roswell will know I slept with liz parker. It was the most perfect night of my life and I would do it again in a heart beat! Why is everyone making a big deal out of this!
Tess Kept thinking about what Maria had said. What if it was max? A smile spread across her face as she tapped her pencil on the desk. She started to daydream. But she pulled back to reality when she realized the teacher was asking her a question.
Maria nudged Kyle in the shoulder. He turned to face her. Maria Never nudged him in the shoulder for no reason.
"What maria?" Kyle asked.
"I have to tell you something" Maria said with a smile.
"What?" He asked.
" Well rumour has it there is this hot girl who has a thing for you." Kyle looked at her suprised and gave her a look of interest.
"Keep talking, who is this hot girl" Kyle asked.
"Well I ... cant give out that information just yet. But I can arrange for you to meet her tonight at the crashdown, say uhh around 8?" Maria said.
"I'll be there" Kyle said with a smile on his face. Maria loved this! Now all she had to do was set everything up with tess and the plan was in motion.
When Six period came around I entered the eraser room. Liz was already there, she saw and Quickly jumped into my arms. God I missed her so much. I held her tightly. For as long as I've known Liz parker I have never felt this way about her before her. Its Like cant breath sometimes if she's not around.
" Are you ok? I was worried about you" I said touching her face.
"Im fine, I Just..." She pulled away. why did she pull away?
"Dont pull away from me Liz" I said softly. She started crying, I knew something was wrong. I knew It was something that would break my heart.
"Liz? tell me whats going on?" I asked. She turned to me with tears in her eyes.
" I dont want to do this, I dont want to leave" Liz said as she sat down in one of the empty chairs. She was leaving? What? No, I cant let her leave, we have been through so much together.
"Leaving?" I asked curiously.
"I'm going to boarding school in New york, I leave Next week" Liz said softly. Anger fueled in me.
"No, you cant leave not after everything, not after I know the way I feel about you" I said. She wiped her eyes and started to leave the eraser room. I stopped her, I couldnt let her leave.
"Max please dont do this, I have no choice its all set and done"
"your just going to give up on us? Does Michael, and maria know?" I asked.
"No" she whispered. I was so upset I left the eraser room. Tess got what she wanted and Liz let her have it.
I furiously walked down the hall. Michael passed me and I just ignored him. He followed me down the hall and stopped me.
"Whats going on maxwell?" he asked. I turned and looked at him anger in my eyes.
"She's leaving michael" I replied.
"What are you talking about who's leaving?" Michael asked curiously.
"Liz, she's going to boarding school next week" Anger raised in Michael's eyes.
"What!" he yelled.
It was Like Listening to her second father. Liz listened to michael ramble on and on, she couldnt get a word in edge wise on the phone.
"Michael I really dont want to talk about this" Liz said tiredly into the phone.
" Well I want to talk about it! And so does maria" Liz could hear maria's angry voice in the back ground.
"Give me that Phone Guerin!" She yelled into the phone.
"Maria I dont want to hear from you either" Liz said into the phone.
"This is stupid liz! Your just giving that Little tramp what she w ants! And your ruining my plan to hook her up with Kyle!" Liz held the phone back from her ear. Maria was Screaming into the phone.
"Look I'm sorry There is nothing I can do!" Liz said as she felt a headache coming on.
" yeah there is, you can say hell no I'm not going! Protest! Fight! scream! Runaway! Do something! I mean Liz, I dont want to have to attend to max's broken heart while your gone!" maria yelled.
"Maria can we talk about this tomorrow?" She asked.
"No we can not...!" Before maria could say another word there was a click. Maria gasped as she hung the phone up.
"That little witch hung up on me!" Maria said as she slammed down the phone.
"We have to do something Maria." Michael said.
"why am I always the one coming up with master plans?" Maria said turning towards him. Michael wrapped his arms around her and kissed her softly.
"because your smart and come up with the best plans" Maria smiled and kissed him. She looked over at the clock and saw time.
"I gotta go"
"Ohhh yeah your master plan in the works" michael said.
"Yeah and your coming with me guerin" maria pulling him out the door of his house.
Later that night -
Liz's father and step mother were out with friends. Tess was....well liz didnt give a dam where tess was. She laid there in her bed holding her favorite stuffed bear. The Pink bear with the bright red nose made her think of max. Max gave it to her on valentines day one year. There was a soft knock on her bedroom window. She looked over and saw max.
"Max what are you doing here? Please I dont want to..." she said as she opened the window.
"Liz just listen to me ok." he said softly.
"I'm listening"
There was a million things I wanted to say to her. I just stood there looking at her. I couldnt find the words to say.
"Im waiting" she said softly
"sorry, its just That I ...dont want you to go. If you leave I will be loosing the one most important thing in my life and I will be loosing my first love." I said she smiled softly.
" Look max..." I stopped her from saying another word.
" Just dont say anything" I said as I grabbed her and kissed her passionetly. I dont know what I was thinking at the moment. I guess...I was caught up in the momemt. I wanted a piece of her before she left. Something I could hold onto so That My heart wouldnt be broken anymore then what it is. Suddenly Liz heard footsteps.
"Shit! My father is home!" She said as she kissed me once again.
"Can you come to my house later?" I asked her softly.
"I'll be there" she shut the window and I quickly left. I know that I will miss her deepply. But there had to be some way I could keep her in roswell. There must be! I'll have to talk to Master mind Maria deluca. She was always good at coming up with plans and how to solve sitituations and problems.
Michael watched Kyle and tess sitting in the crashdown. They were actually liking each other. Tess was laughing at Kyles' stupid jokes. Maria came up beside Michael peeped out the door.
"its worked!" Maria said with a giggle.
" yeah it did but how long will it last until she starts thinking about max again" Michael said as he popped open a bottle of snapple.
"It best last for a very long time!" Michael looked over and saw Max coming in through the back door.
"What the hell are you doing here?" Michael asked.
" Maria I need you to come up with a good plan" Max said plopping down on the couch.
"For?" Maria aske curiously.
"To keep Liz in roswell" Maria smiled and sat down next to max.
"Oh well that I can do "
"We have until next week" Max said. Maria frowned.
"Well thats too short but it will do."
"It better be a good plan maria, and it better work" Max said.
"Oh it will work trust me. Thats if you dont come with something better." maria said as she patted max on the leg.
"Thanks" max said as he laid his head back on the couch.
"Your so welcome dear friend. Anything for you and Lizzie come on we have work to do" Maria said as she pulled Max up off the couch.
"Now, we need come up with something great" Maria said as she stood there thinking. Michael sipped on his snapple and chimed in.
"Why dont you two just runaway together" He blurted out. Maria turned to him and smiled.
"Guerin that would make things worse!" Maria yelled.
" you guys thanks for your help But I'll figure something out" Max said as he quickly darted out of the crashdown.
" You dont think he's going to take my idea to heart?" Michael asked.
"I dont know But if he does he's crazy!" maria yelled.
The more I think about it The more I realize that Michael's Idea was the best idea. If Running away is what it takes to keep her from doing then thats what I have to do. When I got home my parents were sound asleep on the couch. I quickly darted upstairs. When I entered my room I found Liz curled up on my bed half way alseep.
"Liz?" I whispered. She turned and smiled at me and sat up.
" Max I realized I dont want to go. I dont want to leave you" I sat on my bed with her and she wrapped her arms around me.
" I dont want you to leave, I love you Liz" Liz Looked at me and smiled. She kissed me softly. I wanted her more then anything in the world. God the feel of her skin against mine and the smell of her hair was intoxicating. Before I knew it things were going further out of our control.
"Max, make love to me" Liz whispered in my ear. Those words... They....they I dont know I'm so..out of it right now. But I dont know If I should do this? I mean is she really ready for this? I dont even have protection.
"Liz I...." She puts a finger to my mouth and keeps me from talking. My heart is beating fast. I feel like I cant breath. This is out of my control.
"Dont say a word just Kiss me. I want you more then anything right now" She said as she Pulled her shirt off. God Im going crazy. I kissed her knowing that this was it. Things between us were going to be cemented. There was no turning back now. My Mind is jumbled. I've never really done this before. I know she was Nervous and she could tell I was nervous.
The next Morning -
Maria was awakened By her mother barging into her room. maria Jumped up and rubbed her head.
"Whats going on?" She asked.
"Maria do you know where Liz is? She is missing" Amy Deluca asked.
"Umm No Last time I knew she was in school." Maria said.
"Well her father went to wake her up and she wasnt in her room"
"Ok and you just assume I know where she is?"
"Yes! Her father is downstairs worried sick about her!"
" I have no idea where she is at" Maria In the back of her mind probably knew where she was at but she wasnt going to give out that info to her best friends father that would be like betraying her best friend.
"Maria I seriously hope your not lying to me" Amy deluca said.
"Mom I'm not lying, I talked to her on the phone yesterday. But I havent seen her" Maria said laying back down.
"Ok I believe you, but if you do see her or talk to her, let her know she's in big trouble"
"Will do!" Maria said as she acted like she was sleeping. When her Mother left the room she quickly grabbed her cell phone. She dialed Liz's Number. It rang four times and went to voicemail.
"Dam!" Maria said. Then she dialed Max's Number.
Sleep and The fact that I spent the night with the most beautiful girl was still on my mind. I was pulled away from sleep when I heard my phone go off. I quickly reached over and answered it.
"Hello" I said softly trying to not wake liz, all I could hear was maria's voice in the phone. I quickly went to the bathroom with the phone.
"Whats going on maria?" I asked.
"Liz's father is looking for her! Is she with you?" Maria asked.
"yeah" I said.
" you better get her butt back here! And she better have a good excuse as to why she wasnt in her bed Last night!" Maria said as she hung up. I left the bathroom and went back into the room. Liz stirred softly under the sheets. I crawled back into bed with her.
"Where did you go?" She asked.
" you have to go your father is looking for you" I said kissing her cheek.
"How do you..." She looked down and saw the phone in my hand.
"Maria" I said softly.
"Shit!" Liz said as she quickly got up to find her clothes.
"Liz" I said softly trying to help her find her clothes.
"What? I have to find my clothes and thank god your parents arent home" Lz said as she gathered her clothes up.
"Yeah thank god" I said as I pulled her back to bed.
"No! I have to go! We cant do this!" She yelled as I kissed her shoulders and neck.
" I dont want you to go" I said.
" Max If I dont go..." I kissed her and she fell for it. She kissed back. She wasnt going to leave now. She pulled away.
"No, I have to go" L:iz said as she gathered her clothes and went into the bathroom.
Liz quickly Bolted into her house. Her step mother and Father were waiting for her in the living room.
"Where the hell have you been?" Her father asked.
" Ohh well I was Studying at a friends house and it got late so I just crashed at her house" It was the best lie ever. But the way her step mother looked at her , it was as if she could see right through her lie.
"Your Lying" her father said. Liz's step mother touched her father's arm.
"Why would I lie?" Liz asked.
"I dont know because you've been doing alot of that lately"
" Can we just drop this, I'm doing what you want by going to boarding school." Liz said.
"Fine we will drop it. But tonight we are having a long talk"
"whatever" Liz said as she bolted upstairs. she ploppd down on her bed and relived the nights events. The way max touched her was....uncrediable. She knew it was his first time too but It felt so...right. Thinking about it made her tingle all over. Things he whispered to her were pure bliss as he touched her. She had no idea Max had such a great body. She smiled with delight. Suddenly the phone rang and she quickly answered it.

" Fine, Meet me at the crashdown so we can talk"
"Ok fine Bye" Liz hung the phone up. She was Glowing as she looked at herself in the mirror. She couldnt believe it.
" My first was amazing" Liz whispered as she looked at herself in the mirror. In deed it was amazing. She giggled and quickly left the room and went downstairs. She went downstairs and bumped into her step mother.
" I know you were with him all night " she said as she laid the laundry basket down.
"What?" Liz tried to play dumb.
"Dont play dumb. I wont tell your father because I know it will upset him"
"Thanks" Liz said as she left the house. She headed to the crashdown. She wasnt looking forwarded to being bombarded with questions from maria Deluca. 'she probably already told michael' liz thought.
I came downstairs and found my sister stretching in the kitchen. She looked at me weirdly.
"What?" I said as he bit into a muffin.
"There is something different about you" She said looking at me curiously.
" I dont know what your talking about, its the same old me" I said. Isabel could sometimes see right through me.
"yeah right, you did it with liz last night didnt you?" she asked. I choked on my muffin.
"No" I said choking on my muffin.
" yeah t right sure."
" Stay out of My personal life iz" I said with a smile.
" Ohh My brother is all grown up!" She said pinching my cheeks.
"Ok that was scary dont ever do that again!"
" your Face lights up everytime I saw her name" Isabel said.
"No it doesnt" I said.

"there! I knew it!" Isabel said jumping up and down.
"Ok! God ! Make a big deal out it!" I said. sometimes I can hate my sister.
"I dont really care what you and liz do, as long as I dont see it and Dont hear it!" she said as she ran out the door.

Chapter 9
A week later -
Me and Liz had spent every moment we possibly could without her father knowing. Now here the day come. The day for her to leave my life forever. I cant let her go. I cant let her leave. My heart isnt ready for it, not after we....connected and made love. God this is killing me. I cant sit here and Think about this. I need some air. I need something. I crawled out my window . The Brisk air filled my lungs. I feel a little better now. This is going to kill me. I know it is, there is no way I am going to survive this. My heart cant take it. I find myself walkin and I end up at Liz's bedroom window. I watch her as I see her stuffing things into suit cases. She looks over and sees me. She opened the window.
"Hey" Thats all I could say at the moment.
"Max what are you doing here? I Thought we decided it would be better if we didnt say goodbye" She said.
"I know" I said looking into her deep brown eyes.
" Promise me one thing" Liz asked softly as she handed me a picture of me and here that was taken at the crash festival last summer.
"Anything" I said looking at the picture.
"Write to me everyday" She said as I turned the picture around and there was an address on the back.
" I promise" I said. As I wrapped My arms around her and Kissed her softly.
The next day -
Liz played with her breakfast. Her father knew she didnt want to go. He could see it in her eyes.
"Liz is the best thing for you right now." He said as he took a bite of his breakfast.
"you dont know whats best for me. If you did, you would know that I am in love with max and I am happy. Why do you hate him so much? I mean you've hated him ever since we were little"
"Because I want you to live your life, and a boy like max will ruin your life!"
" Whatever, I'm doing what you want. I'm leaving him. I hope everyone is happy" Liz said as she slammed her silverware down on the table and left the room. She went up to her room and cried for hours. She cried until it was time for them to go to the bus station to leave. She Wrote Max a letter. And told maria to give it to him when she saw him.
"Are you going to go after her? Or at least say goodbye?" Michael asked me.
"No We decided it would be easier just to say goodbye" No it isnt easy. Nothing is easy. Maria came into the room and handed me an envelope.
"Whats this?" I asjked taking it from her.
"Read it, and if you dont get to that bus station and stop her from leaving I will stop her myself and then I will beat you to a bloody pulp!" maria said as she plopped down on the couch next to her.
"No, She's leaving And we promised we wouldnt say goodbye."I said as I got up and went into the kitchen I held the letter in my hand debating if I should read it.
Liz sat at the bus station with her father and step mother. The bus pulled up and the driver got off to help her with her things. Liz hesitated for a moment. She so wished Max was there. The Driver Stuffed her things in the lower cargo hold. She turned toward her father and hugged him and then Hugged her step mother.
I Read the letter. My heart sank. I realized then That I had to stop her. I had to keep her from getting on that bus. I hurried out the door , maria and Michael followed me. When we pulled up to the bus station, I saw Liz's father walking to the car. I ran up to him.
"Where is she!" I yelled.
"Your too late, the bus already left" He said.
"No! Tell them to turn it around!"
"I cant!" Mr parker yelled.
"max , she's gone" Maria said. I was angry now. I'm Going to slowly die in this hell now. My heart just shattered into a million pieces.
"Max lets go" Michael said.
"No!" I said as I walked away.
I sat in the bus station for hours Just thinking. She's really gone. I held the picture tightly in my hand. I felt someone come up beside me.
"That was one of the best nights of my life" She said. I looked up and Liz was standing in front of me.
"Liz!" I took her into my arms and held her tighly.
"I couldnt do it. I Jumped off the bus before it could go anywhere" She said . I took her scent in. God This is a miracle.
" I knew you wouldnt leave me" I said Kissing her softly.
I looked her in the eyes and smiled. I touched her face, happy because She was here.
" Lets Runaway together" She said softly as she brushed My hair away from my eyes.
"What?" I said softly.
"Lets get out of here, away my parents away from everything, and just be together" Liz said. I smiled. It was It was dangerous and stupid idea but I was willing to do it.
"Ok come on" I said as I grabbed her things and we headed out of the bus station. I know what everyone is thinking that this is a bad idea and that were just 2 stupid teenagers in love. But this is something I have to do to keep Liz with me and I am willing to do anything.
Later that night -
"This is crazy" I said as we drove. We drove for miles until we were out of roswell.
"I know But I want to be with you" Liz said as she Kissed me softly. I know Once My parents find out about this I'm dead but that was the last thing on my mind. I glanced over at her and smiled.
Isabel Evans Threw the letter down on the t able in front of her parents as they were eating dinner.
"Whats this?" her mother asked as she started to read it.
"max is gone" Isabel said. Her mother dropped the note after reading it.
"All his clothes are gone, he's decided to runaway with Liz" isabel said. Dianne Evans quickly grabbed the phone and dialed Liz's parents number.
"what In world made him do this? I didnt even know him and Liz were..." Phillip Evans said.
" There probably half way out of town by now" Isabel said. Her mother talked on the for a while and then finally hung up.
"Were Going down to the Police station with the parkers. When I see him He is in so much trouble" she said as her and her Husband and Isabel quickly left the house.

Chapter 10
Several Hours later -
We pulled the car off the highway. We didnt really have a plan. We just sort did this on the spur of the moment. We silent in the car for a moment.
"So what do we do now?" Liz asked.
" I dont know" I replied. Liz Scooted over and Laid her head on my shoulder and fell asleep. The Next morning we woke up to a tap on the car window. The next thing I knew we in the sheriffs station. They had me in a seperate room from Liz. Sheriff Valenti looked at me with those Eyes.
" Where is Liz" I asked.
" In the other room, but you cant see her" He said.
"We didnt do anything" I replied.
"Your parents were worried about you. You two were planning on running a way. And you knew Liz was suppose to go to boarding school" he replied.
"She didnt want to go! And Why I am talking to you about this!" I yelled. Mom Walked into the room and saw The look on her f ace. oh boy am I in trouble now.
Liz Just sat there staring at the table. Her father glared at her. She felt uncomfortable.
" Your Suppose be on that bus" he replied.
" I didnt want to go" She replied.
"Do you want to ruin your future Liz? Do you want ruin what you can become?" He asked her.
"No! But you dont understand I love him!" Liz sat there staring at him and then replied. "Ever since Mom Died, Max has been there for me. He's The one person I can be close with. One the person who truly knows me. I can talk to maria and I can talk to michael But I cant talk to them the way I can talk to Max. Ther is something that max and I share that cant be broken by you and anyone else! And ever since you remarried My life has been A living hell! I know what you want the best for me. But If you keep me a way from max It will Slowly kill me and Then you will loose the second women you ever cared about and loved. I know you loved mom. The way you looked at her is not the way you look at My so called step mother. No one can replace The wife you lost and The mother I lost. And I thought About this long and hard while I was sitting in this room..., I..... want to go Live with Maria" It hit her father hard.
"No that is out of the question" he replied.

"because! your my daughter and I said so! I dont want you seeing max ever again you understand me! Now lets go!" He yelled. When Liz got home she sat in her room and cried. What was she going to do? There was no way she would beable to stay away from max.
My mother was furious when we left the sheriff station. She wouldnt say a word to me. She said what she needed to say when she had me in that room. I can still hear her yelling and leacturing me in my ears. So here I am Now grounded for at least a life time and I am not allowed to see Liz for a while. But that wont stop me from seeing her. I love her and Nothing can change that. My mother says its Nothing just some crush and I will get over her as soon as I graduate. No its not some crush its more then that! I tried to tell her but she wouldnt listen to me! When I got home I started my punishment by sitting in my room. My TV was taken away, My computer, and Much much more. Well At least I still had my cd's, so Now I can sit here and Listen to a sad depressing song And live My life in misery once again. I just laid on My back in bed staring up at my ceiling. I laid there half the night knowing I will never get a wink of sleep. I kept thinking about liz. There is no way I will be able to stay away from her. No way at all. She is the love of my life! The one person I can tell anything to. I slowly fell asleep.
When Liz's father called her down stairs she knew what was going on. She sat at the kitchen table glaring at her father.
"your Going to boarding school and this time your actually going. Max will not know about this because your leaving tomorrow morning bright and early. And I will makesure that max does Not try to prevent you from going" He replied.
" you just lost the only daughter you've ever had" Liz replied as she went back upstairs. She crawled In her bed and laid there crying once again. There was no way she was going to tell max about this. She closed her eyes and tried to sleep. She tried to let sleep over come her and take away the misery she was feeling at the moment.
In the middle Of the Night I was awakened By something. Someone was tapping on my bedroom window. I thought maybe I was dreaming. I got up and went to the window and saw Liz. I opened the window to let her in.
"Shhh My parents will hear you" I said softly helping her through the window. She was crying, her eyes were puffy and red. I wiped the tears from her eyes. She fell into my arms Because she was exhausted and tired.
"you ok?" I asked.
"No" She whispered as she crawled into my bed and curled up under the sheets. I laid next to her and wrapped my arms around her.
"Everything will be ok baby" I said touching her face. She just started crying as she buried her face in my chest.
"It wont be Ok, I cant see you no more" She whispered. She laid there soothing her to sleep. We both fell asleep in each others arms.
The next Morning I woke Up and Found Liz Gone.
Liz climbed on the bus. She didnt want to do this. She didnt want to leave Max's arms. But if she didnt she knew she would probably never forgiver herself if she wasnt with him one last time . She couldnt bare leaving him. She didnt want to leave him. Liz found her seat and sat down. Her father and step mother waved her good bye as the bus started to pull away. several hours later they passed the sign that said NOW LEAVING ROSWELL.
" Goodbye Max" She said softly. As the sign wized past and disappeared.
