I was having way too good a time dancing with Tess...it was as if she'd come out of her shell while she danced

While we took a break I noticed that Alex and Isabel still hadn't returned so I turned to Michael and Maria and asked them to go see what was keeping those two...

"Mic will you please go and see where Alex has disappeared to with Isabel...I don't want her to come down with a cold just before her Coming out Ball.I'll have her mother baying for my blood." I grinned at my own little joke and pulled Tess onto the floor for a another dance

I danced with Kyle until the song ended, and then stepped away politely. I didn't want our behavior to become inappropriate, and I also didn't want to get tied down to the first man I met. What if there was someone better suited for me out there?

" Whatever floats your boat...My Lady--" I said in a deeper tone. She didn't answer me... "Fine... we'll do this my way--" I started asking a bunch of random questions... "So, what's your favorite color? Which do you perferr... night or day? Do you like the moon or the stars? Men or boys? Roses or carnations? What kind of music do you listen to?" I continued to ask her as I could tell she was getting fed up with me. I held in my laughter.

I wheeled around to face him, finally losing my patience. "Emerald, night, stars, men, roses, classical, and are you quite finished!?" I yelled, rattling off the answers to his incessant questions. I saw the humor in his eyes at my anger, and it only caused my indignance to rise. "And why on earth did you invite everyone to ride tomorrow? Don't you know that now I'll have to accept so as not to appear rude in front of everyone!?" I yelled, and then snapped my mouth closed. I wasn't going to let him get to me. I turned around and continued to march down the pathway.

I acepted her explanation,not wanting to probe further.Maybe she was really tired,afterall she'd arrived only this morning after a long journey.

"Would you like to have a cup of coffee?" I enquired, I'll ask the butler to get some sent over for all of us

I looked after her as she stormed off--and smirked... " You like me don't you Lady Elizabeth--Just admitt it, I'm sure it's just killing inside, keeping it all bottled up inside for this long. Love at first sight isn't it... ahh I know...it's how I felt when I first saw Tess--but she' s spoken for right now... so, you are my last result--keep me company until Kyle resides for the night. " I ran up to her, and kept up with her pace.
