"Will you put some trust in me for once." I shout back at him "If you must know I went there to ask him not to attend our wedding ceremony because I know how you feel about him."

Fighting will get us no where...we'll be playing right in to Victor's and Gerty's hands

Pulling back a little and cupping his face in my hands I tell him seriously "Just believe in our love and the love I have for you.Nothing is going to chnage that...whatever Victor is planning...we'll bulldoze our way to the altar if we have to.I love you Alex!."

The kiss continues for a few moments before I pull away
"You know...if we fight like this we are just playing right in to their hands...Victor and Gertrude's." I state categorically

"They would like nothing better.But what's the most Victor can do...get up at the ceremony and say that he objetcs ot our marriage because he's still in love with?"

I grin before continuing "That would just make him look like a fool...and trust me there is nothing worse for Victor than being madeout to be a fool.He hates being humiliated."
