Placing my hand on Alex's wrist I pull him down so that he sits "Oh ignore him Kyle...I'm looking forward to your toast." I say brightly

The I whisper in to Alex's ear sternly "Stop being such a spoilt sport...the poor guy's been so enthusiastic about raising the toast."
