I have the beginnings of a fic, xmag, but I'm not posting it unless I finish it, which... is somewhat doubtful.

I also have part of an angsty one-shot... maybe that'll get up eventually.

I think it's really easy for people to overlook Sean as just a fly in dreamer's ointment, but he always had more potential to me. He obviously cared a lot about Liz, and while he wasn't all smooth talk and finesse like Max... he provided a release for her that she drastically needed at the time.

I don't want to start a fight here

for I like Sean/Liz myself but these are my thoughts on why there's not many lanewalking stories on this board.

This board has a higher count of Max/Liz fans than any other couple. And I know a lot of Dreamer fans who HATE Sean with the same amount of passion as they do Tess because of the fact those two were shown on the show as threats to the beloved Max/Liz pairing.

Not saying ALL dreamers hate Sean or hate him as much as they do Tess but like I said I think a bunch do hate him and won't write him in a good light due to what I said above.

I mean just like Tess is put in as the bad guy how many fics out there have Sean either a jerk who's after Liz or is the bad guy who is after her?

Oh yes, we know that.

I know Sean isn't a popular character... I tend to fall for the unpopular ones. I'm certainly not demanding Lanewalker fic from anyone who doesn't ship them... obviously. LOL

The thing is, there is a small contingent of Sean-supporters who don't seem to be writing, either, me included. Which is too bad, and must needs be remedied, if possible.

ETA: There are also a lot of fics cropping up lately where Sean is the loser Liz doesn't really love but married anyhow before leaving him for a reunion with Max. Those are the ones that make me sad.

I also am a big fan of Sean.Not going to say I'm a big shipper of Sean/Liz (I like them some) but I like the Sean character and hate the bad rap he gets in stories.

I wrote a story once where he's dating Serena and am working on a AU all human one right now where Sean and Serena are married.

Yes I know this is a LW thread but I've come to love Sean/Serena
