Celebrity deaths
So we've lost a lot of great entertainers this year. The most recent being Brittany Murphy who died at the age of 32 today. It appears to be of natural causes--cardiac arrest.
Then there was Farah Fawcett, Michael Jackson, Billy Mays (for infomercials), Director/writer John Hughes--Sixteen Candles, Breakfast Club, Dominick Dunne-writer, Bea Arthur, David Carradine, Natasha Richardson, and of course Patrick Swayze, which broke my heart most of all.
I guess this is my way of paying tribute to them. Was anyone else affected by their deaths? Any more you'd like to add to the list?
They are all in my thoughts.

Re: Celebrity deaths of 2009
OMG ... I just found out about this. What is up with death this year? So many people gone. In my family alone, I've lost my G-Ma, my Gramps and my cousin.
Sad to hear about Brittany. And at 32? I'm sorry to say this, but I bet you anything - drugs of some sort were involved.

I read it may be related to Anorexia. It is said eating disorder can lead to that. i.e. Karen Carpenter. But its all speculation. I'd rather remember her for the way she lived. Like all of them.

Re: Celebrity deaths of 2009
Maybe we should start a new thread ... or change the title to Celebrity deaths of 2010?
Just found out Corey Haim died today. No known cause as of yet, as they need to perform an autopsy. What is with young Hollywood dropping like flies lately?

Well he's had a very loooooooooong history of bad drug use.Now I'm not saying that's what killed him,he could have had a bad flu for all I know. But drugs was the first thing that came to mind when I heard about this.

Also, Merlin Olsen died a few days back, as did Fess Parker. As soon as I told my dad this, he came out with, "Merlin the Magician!" and started singing the Ballad of Davy Crockett. My dad is really quite funny. It's mostly unintentional, mind you.

Dean: Damn cops.
Sam: They were just doing their job.
Dean: No, they were doing our job, only they don't know it so they suck at it.
