OMG I can't belive this place is still going!!
I must say im a little bit excited!! So I was having a couple of glasses of wine and feeling nostalgic. So I desided to look up my old fav fanfic site (haven't been here in about 5 years??) and low and behold its still here!! I'm so happy right now!!..lol

OMG!!, I feel like I may be overdoing that trem tonight, but really!! Just went back and read some of my very own fanfic...Wow all I can say is I'm suprised ppl read it and left nice things to say about it..lol, its utter crap!! Bad spelling and well the grammar!! shocking!!!

I feel the same way. I have some stories I have abandoned on ff.net for a different fandom, and I keep getting author alerts of someone favoriting the story, putting me on author and story update lists, and leaving reviews.
Some are begging me to finish, others want me to write sequels, and some just want to tell me great job. I look back and read at the story they like, and I am like wow. I cringe because I was such a baby writer back then.
Nostalgia isn't bad. Sometimes it's good. Here's to you and your stories. I salute ya.

I'm so thankful this place is still around, was looking a bit choppy for a few months hey?
- Thanks again to those authors who continue writing these stories, and the Fanatic 'crew' for keeping this place going!
- I have been reading more Twilight fanfics lately tho - ie as mentioned in another thread, the volume of fanfic there is greater - altho more challenging in finding a 'good story' depending on what mood I'm in (eg angst, pwp, cc, alternate), where the term good is of course subjective..

I love that its still going and that there are still people out there who are still crazy about a lil show called Roswell!!! Thanks to the Looking for Fanfic thread so those of us who took 7/8 years hiatus can find all of our old stories!! Ive been having fun trying to catch up on all the stories that have been posted that i have missed out on. I hope this site never disappears
