Carolyn Yes Diane explained a lot. Max did remember. Yes that was great Max passing out at the news he was going to be a daddy.




Part 55 five months later

Max winced as Liz crushed his hand in her grip. He wiped the sweat from her face as she took a deep breath. Liz had been in labor for the past two hours. It seemed to be hard on her. But he knew that she was the only one that could give birth to their child.

"You are doing great Liz." Said Max
"Max just shut up! You are the reason that I am in this much pain!" Yelled Liz

Kara just smiled at Max.

"Liz on the next one I want you to push OK?" Said Kara

Liz just nodded. Then she was hit with another contraction. She screamed as she pushed while squeezing Max's hand in her tight grip. Max winced again as he felt one of his fingers break. Five minutes later Liz held their daughter in her arms. Max just smiled as she checked his hand and set the finger so that it would heal.

"She is beautiful just like her mother." Said Max
"Yeah she is. Max sorry about I said."
"It's OK. We never talked about a name."
"I like Erin."
"Erin, I like it."
"Hi Erin. You are such a beautiful girl."
"Beautiful like your mother."

Kara smiled as she watched the young family. Now if only she could find someone who wasn't scared of her brothers.

Kyle smiled as he watched Serena sleeping next to him. He couldn't believe that he had this beautiful woman in his life. He pulled the blanket up from where it had slipped. He didn't want her to get cold seeing that was the only thing covering her at the moment. They had made love for the first time earlier after hearing about the birth of Max and Liz's healthy baby girl. He saw her starting to wake and lean over her to kiss her.

"Hey honey how you feel?" Asked Kyle when she looked at him.
"OK. I am kind of sore."
"I'm sorry. I didn't want to hurt you."
"You didn't. Kyle it is normal for me to be a little sore."
"So you really are ok?"
"Yes."
"Good."

Kyle kissed her again and pulled her close to him.

Max watched as his daughter started to nurse from Liz's breast. He knew that was going to happen but he wasn't sure if he was happy about sharing them. Kara came in and watched as the baby took her mother's milk.

"As long as you promise to rest Liz, I will let you go home tomorrow." Said Kara
"Really?" Asked Liz
"Yes. You are very healthy and so is the baby."
"Kara are you sure?" Asked Max
"Yes. This is her first baby so yes labor was a little hard on her but there is no reason to keep her here."
"Just wanted to be sure."

Kara smiled at them and left. They did go home the next day and began their life as a family.

Okay, finally had the chance to read the last two parts of this story Great ending. I love happy endings. I love that all the evil men were removed and that Kyle and Serena finally "cemented" their relationship.

At one point I did wonder if Max could ever breakdown the wall Once it was done it did not take long for the happy ending to come
