googi- Mady, I'm sorry, that's just a fic! but as you know and I said to Eve, that kind of relationship exists. But I'm not doing the adultry praise here. it's just a situation of a couple who has nothing more in common, that couple is englued in its problems and none of them is able to find the good way to go out from them. Sean offers a deal cause he doesn't want to loose his wife, and Liz? Liz met a fabulous man, Max, she had been unable to restrain herself and in her subconscience, I think that she wanted to punish her husband. they are not shallow, they are lost. and to tell the truth, concerning our dreamer couple, they are unable to repress the desire they have for each other. Could a woman resist to Max? I don't think so. Could a man resist to Liz, not at all. so Grace, take that fic like a fic, it's just that. and thank you to be here.

Chapter 9
Before they hung up this morning, Max and Liz agreed to meet for lunch. Max wanted her to come at his place but Liz was hesitating. She wanted him but in the same time she didn't want to go to fast. So they agreed to meet at the Crashdown.
That was weird for Liz to come back here, her parents owned that dinner for so long before they decided to move to California. That was not the first time she came here for lunch, but usually, she came here with Maria or some other girlfriends. Today, she was here with her lover...*Geez! who would have thought that I would have a lover someday.*
Even if she was happy to see Max again, she couldn't help to think that she had betrayed her vows and her husband....She was deep in her thoughts when Max entered in the dinner. As soon as he spotted her, his heart began to race in his chest and couldn't help to look at her *She's so beautiful! How can I live without her in my life? G-d I never felt that for any other woman in my life and yet I only met her yesterday.* he said to himself.
Liz looked up and saw him. He was staring at her and she wondered what did he have in his mind at this moment. She smiled and Max walked toward her. "Liz...I was so eager to see you again." he said pulling her in his embrace. He bent to capture her lips but Liz turned a little her head and his lips brushed her cheek "We're not alone Max, I'm sorry." she whispered and looked at him with a shy smile.
"It's ok Liz, I understand." he said squeezzing her hands in his. "I'm so happy to be here with you Love, I couldn't wait to see you again."he whispered fervently.
He couldn't take his eyes off her and Liz giggled, a little embarrassed by his gaze. "Maax...Stop looking at me like this...It's embarrassing!" she murmured.
"Liz, why do we talk so low? Is there anything that annoy you here? We can move!" he said surprised to see her look around.
"No you're right. It's just that my parents owned that dinner for so long, I feel like I'm sixteen!"
"I'm sure I'm not the first guy you meet here since you're sixteen. I couldn't believe you!" he said mocking a little.
"No...Of course not. But you know I was not the most popular girl of the high school, so I didn't date a lot. Maybe that's why I can't help to feel like if I always was young."
"Really? I would have thought that you had lots of guys chasing after you" he replied and Liz couldn't help to burst out laughing "That was the opposite!" she said still laughing.
"WHAT?? You were chasing after the guys? I can't believe you!" he teased her.
"NOOO! Come on Max! I was shy and always with my books. I had just Maria and Alex, my best friends..."
"Alex? Another boyfriend?" he asked suspicious.
"NOOO silly! Alex was my best friend, I knew him and Maria for almost all my life!" she explained.
"Liz...Who is Sean?" he asked abruptly.
Liz gasped. She didn't think that she had to talk about her husband so quickly. She closed her eyes, trying to find the words to explain. She was not ready to tell him about her marriage and everything. But she had to tell him something about Sean, he knew that he was in her life...
"Liz...If it's hard for you to tell me, we could talk about him later. I don't want to annoy you with my questions, but as I thought that Alex was a boyfriend, Sean came in my mind. You'll tell me when you'll be ready." he said softly.
As much as he was eager to know if Sean was still in her life, he couldn't bring himself to question her about him if that was that hard for her.
"Max...I'll tell you about Sean....later. For the moment, just know that he's not in my life...for the moment. To be honest, I don't know what to do with my life for the moment."
"Is it because of me? I mean us?" he asked worried to know if their encounter had something to do with their break up.
"Is there a "US" Max? I mean we met yesterday night. For the first time of my life I made love with a man I barely know...."
"You know that it's not only sex for me Liz. I already told you and I meant every word I told you yesterday and this morning." he said passionately.
Once again, Liz looked around to see if someone was hearing Max and her talking.
"Liz..I see that you're really uncomfortable here. Let's go to my house. Nobody will bother us, we'll be able to talk openly." he said a little upset.
"Max, I'm sorry. I can't help it..."
"Because of Sean?"
This time Liz didn't answer...She stood up and walked to the counter to talk with the waitress. He saw the girl look up at him and nod, then Liz came back.
"Let's go to your house. I'll feel better there." she said and walked quickly out of the dinner.
"LIZ! Wait! Why are you running like if you had the devil chasing after you?" he asked surprised.
"I just wanted to go out of this place and go to your appartment" she said looking at him like if he was her last meal.
Max groaned and cursed himself for doubting her. He closed his eyes to calm the blood beating in his ears*That girl will be the death for me if she'll keep looking at me that way!*
He grabbed her arm and led her to his car on the parking lot. There, he wanted to kiss her, but once again she refused, arguing about people around. And this time again, Max agreed. He only wanted to reach his appartment and have her in his arms, in his bed.
They drove silently till the building. There, Max didn't tempt anything, he just took her tiny hand in his and headed to the entrance. Even in the elevator, he kept his distances with her and Liz, who didn't forget to be smart, stayed quiet too. Max was a little upset because of her behavior but he understood the reasons, she couldn't jump in his arms since she refused any contact before.
But as soon as they stepped into his appartment, he closed the door and lifted her in his arms. "Now, nobody can see you and I can have my way with you!"
"MAAAX!!" Liz cried laughing. She forgot everything that was not Max. She was sorry to let him in the darkness but she was not ready to talk. All what she wanted was to be in his arms and to feel happy like she did yesterday and this morning.
Max ran with her toward his bedroom. He threw her on his bed and collapsed on her "Now I'm going to make love to you until you won't be able to walk away from me." he said and he captured her lips in a scorching kiss. He was dying to kiss her since he saw her in that restaurant and now he couldn't stop devouring her. "G-d I missed you so much!" he said huskily.
"Max we were together this morning. Did you forget it?" she asked with a mischevious look.
"Are you kidding me? How could I forget the most amazing moments of my life?" he exclaimed with so much love in his eyes that she closed hers, ashamed. Max misunderstood her "Honey, are you ok? Did I hurt you? Maybe I'm too heavy for..." he said and lifted himself but Liz tightened her grips around his neck. "No...Stay, you're not." she whispered and she kissed him passionately.
As you guess, when it comes to Max and Liz, the kisses turned to be hotter. Max's eyes were dark with desire and want. "Liz...I want you..." he panted. He kissed her again and dipped his tongue in her mouth, tasting every recess. He was like a starved man, she left him this morning and he was like if he hadn't seen her since days. He couldn't understand why he was acting this way with Liz, he was cool with the other girls he dated.
He pulled her shirt off and smiled when he saw that she was bare chest "For me?" he asked softly.
"Humm?"
"Did you forget your bra? Oorrr......?" he repeated in her ears this time.
"Oh that? Guess!" she answered as she was nibbling at his earlobe.
"I know that you'll be the death for me Liz but I choose to die in your arms instead of dying apart from you..." he said and he let his mouth lower to her breasts. With his hands, he cupped them and massaged them while he took one nipple between his teeth. He wanted to bit her, to mark her as his. He looked up at her but Liz had her eyes closed, enjoying his touch.

He could smell her intoxicating scent and he felt his pants tighten and his groin harden painfully.. *I'm going to explode if I'm not inside of her right now* he thought.
But although he needed to be inside her body, his priority was Liz's pleasure. He forgot his pain, and inserted a finger into her heat. "Maaaxx!" she moaned loudly. Without a word, Liz passed her leg on the other side, and was now straddling him. "Let me ride you!" she asked "That's MY fantasy!"

They spent most of the day in Max's bed, making love, talking about their life...the future. "My dearest wish is to spend my life with you Liz!" he said lovingly. And he tightened his gripp around her.
Liz didn't answer. How could she?
"Liz?....Did I upset you?" he asked worried.
Actually, Max wondered why she was so reluctant to talk about their common future, that was so obvious for him that he wanted to be with her forever..
"Liz... Please talk to me. I need to know." he begged.
Liz stiffened in his arms. She knew that he was waiting for her to explain everything. But that was too soon, she didn't know what to do.
She met that handsome guy the day before and she felt like if she could be attached to him, despite Sean and her marriage. But she was unable to make the difference between the tenderness she felt for him and the love he was expecting from her. That was too soon.
"What do you want to know?" she asked, scared that he questionned her again about Sean.
"I'd like to know everything about you, Liz. I don't want you to hide anything from me, like I swear to you that I won't hide anything from you." he said solemned.
"Max...I know that it's not just sex between us....But that's too soon....I mean you're too serious..."
"Tell me...Do you have a lot of other men in your life? Are you used to make love with men just for the fun? Of course I'm serious Liz....I'll always be when it comes to you Liz." he said seriously.
Shocked, Liz didn't say a word. *G-d what am I going to do? If I told him about Sean and our marriage, I'm going to loose him....I'm lost...I like him...a lot....I have feelings for him, that's true....but I can't erase my life...I mean my real life...Come on Liz! that's real life too! You have to take a decision!*
Max made her turn around toward him...They were looking at each other eyes.
"Max...We just met yesterday..."
"I'm in love with you Liz, even if I didn't know you 2 days ago!" he cut her off "You can call that a love at first sight, that's exactly what I feel. I'm sure of my feelings for you....It's love! A deep love like I never felt for anyone in my life. Liz, I can understand that you are scared...We just met, you're right....But you shouldn't. I mean, I'm not the kind of man who lies to only sleep with a girl...with you...What is happening between you and me is unexpected...wonderful... marvelous....and scary too....cause it happens suddenly. But trust me Liz, I won't never lie to you....I won't never cheat on you....I won't never hurt you....You're my everything Liz!" he said with so much love in his eyes, that Liz, once again, closed her eyes, ashamed.
"Max....I've told you...I've feelings for you....but it's too soon for me to tell you that I'm in love with you Max...not because I'm not but I really don't know. That's the first time of my life something like this happens to me...I'm not used to make love with other men for the fun...actually you're the first...."
"Excuse me? You weren't virgin the first time we made love! or otherwise I need to consult...."
"Max...You're not the first man in my life..."she cut him off. "I was not saying that. I wanted to say that you were the first man I've made love with him the first night I met him. Max, I don't want to talk about him, but Sean was the only man I ever slept with..." she said slowly.
Max looked at her trying to find out the reason why she didn't want to talk about that Sean. "Do you love him? Is that the reason of your reluctance to really love me? I mean...I'd like to know Liz...his place in your life...Cause I won't continue with you if you're still with him." he said, looking into her eyes.
She could read his fear and his determination in his eyes. He was right...He had to know...But what if she told him and he left her? She couldn't bring herself to tell him the truth, she was not sure about their relationship. That was so new..It was impossible to be sure of their feelings for each other.
"Max...I've already told you...Sean and me, we've decided to take a step back and to live each other life alone. I mean I'm not with him and I want to see where my path will lead me. I've been honest when I told you that I didn't know what to do with my life. Be patient please...Soon, I'll tell you." she pleaded.
"So you don't know what to do with your life....you have Sean on one side and me on the other side and we're waiting for you, both....That's what you mean Liz?" he asked looking upset.
"Max, when you're saying it like this, that sounds like if I was a bitch.... that sounds stupid and selfish...But I'm not. I mean....Sean knows that I'm bored in my life with him....he knows about you..."
"Luckier than me! He knows about me but I don't know about him. Does he know that we slept together?"
"Yeah....That's what I meant....He told me that I had 3 months to decide with who I want to be in my life" that wasn't exactly what Sean had said but Liz was not sure of her future after the 3 next months.
"3 months? He gave you 3 months to be with me!!! and after that?" he inquired angry now.
"Please Max! Don't be mad at me...I didn't want to talk about him...You pushed me!" she pleaded again.
"What are saying Liz? If I didn't question you about him, you would have continued with me for 3 months and then you would have decided who was the best for you! That's what you had in mind?" he was furious there.
"Max....Please....Listen to me...You and me, we just met yesterday....You might love me but we don't really know each other, none of us is able today to say IF we'll be together in one year or 10 years. Do you get what I want to tell you. Today we are together and you're right, that's wonderful....But who knows in one month...one year....Can you understand my point of you.
"Liz, to tell the truth, I can't agree with you playing on the 2 sides. You can't have me and Sean in the same time. You have to make a choice! I said that I wouldn't hurt you but I should have added that I didn't want to be hurt too. I mean you know my feelings for you, I didn't hide them from you....I can't live with that sword above my head, I can't live and always wonder if you'll be here the day after or not. I want to be with you Liz completely...I refuse to share you!" he stated firmly.
Liz looked at him, she could read his anger after what she did. She couldn't tell him who was Sean, really, but she had to tell him about his proposition, she liked him and she didn't want to loose him.
"It's ok Max..." she said and wrapped her hands around his neck, flirting.
"OK? You mean that you'll stay with me? I told you that I refuse to share you with him or anyone else..."
"It's ok...you won't share me...." she said kissing him everywhere on his face.
"WAIT!" he said and pulled her back "Are you serious? Are you staying with me? Forever?" he asked suspicious.
"Forever, I can't swear it cause, tomorrow, you'll be able to find another woman....but I'm staying with you for now. If you want it, of course!"
"If I want it? Are you kidding me? I asked you....G-d Liz! I thought that I should have to leave you because of that man...I thought that you was going to see him despite my feelings for you." he said and he kissed her back.
"Max...I don't know what are my feelings for you but I love to be in your arms and I don't want you to leave me....Let's live the present moment and forget everything else!"
Max didn't answer but poured all his love in the kiss he gave her....
And Liz couldn't help but wonder how much time will pass before he finds out about her marriage. She pushed that thought in a corner of her mind and just enjoyed Max's passionate kisses. Tomorrow is another day!

I agree with you that she has to tell him, but don't forget that she agreed with Sean's deal...3 months with Max...And I never said that Max had never been with another woman before, of course he had..but he never felt the way he feels for Liz. and I don't know if Liz will live at home...depends on....you'll see later.

Chapter 10
They spent most of the day in Max's bed, making love, talking about their life...the future. "My dearest wish is to spend my life with you Liz!" he said lovingly. And he tightened his gripp around her.
Liz didn't answer. How could she?
"Liz?....Did I upset you?" he asked worried.
Actually, Max wondered why she was so reluctant to talk about their common future, that was so obvious for him that he wanted to be with her forever..
"Liz... Please talk to me. I need to know." he begged.
Liz stiffened in his arms. She knew that he was waiting for her to explain everything. But that was too soon, she didn't know what to do.
She met that handsome guy the day before and she felt like if she could be attached to him, despite Sean and her marriage. But she was unable to make the difference between the tenderness she felt for him and the love he was expecting from her. That was too soon.
"What do you want to know?" she asked, scared that he questionned her again about Sean.
"I'd like to know everything about you, Liz. I don't want you to hide anything from me, like I swear to you that I won't hide anything from you." he said solemned.
"Max...I know that it's not just sex between us....But that's too soon....I mean you're too serious..."
"Tell me...Do you have a lot of other men in your life? Are you used to make love with men just for the fun? Of course I'm serious Liz....I'll always be when it comes to you Liz." he said seriously.
Shocked, Liz didn't say a word. *G-d what am I going to do? If I told him about Sean and our marriage, I'm going to loose him....I'm lost...I like him...a lot....I have feelings for him, that's true....but I can't erase my life...I mean my real life...Come on Liz! that's real life too! You have to take a decision!*
Max made her turn around toward him...They were looking at each other eyes.
"Max...We just met yesterday..."
"I'm in love with you Liz, even if I didn't know you 2 days ago!" he cut her off "You can call that a love at first sight, that's exactly what I feel. I'm sure of my feelings for you....It's love! A deep love like I never felt for anyone in my life. Liz, I can understand that you are scared...We just met, you're right....But you shouldn't. I mean, I'm not the kind of man who lies to only sleep with a girl...with you...What is happening between you and me is unexpected...wonderful... marvelous....and scary too....cause it happens suddenly. But trust me Liz, I won't never lie to you....I won't never cheat on you....I won't never hurt you....You're my everything Liz!" he said with so much love in his eyes, that Liz, once again, closed her eyes, ashamed.
"Max....I've told you...I've feelings for you....but it's too soon for me to tell you that I'm in love with you Max...not because I'm not but I really don't know. That's the first time of my life something like this happens to me...I'm not used to make love with other men for the fun...actually you're the first...."
"Excuse me? You weren't virgin the first time we made love! or otherwise I need to consult...."
"Max...You're not the first man in my life..."she cut him off. "I was not saying that. I wanted to say that you were the first man I've made love with him the first night I met him. Max, I don't want to talk about him, but Sean was the only man I ever slept with..." she said slowly.
Max looked at her trying to find out the reason why she didn't want to talk about that Sean. "Do you love him? Is that the reason of your reluctance to really love me? I mean...I'd like to know Liz...his place in your life...Cause I won't continue with you if you're still with him." he said, looking into her eyes.
She could read his fear and his determination in his eyes. He was right...He had to know...But what if she told him and he left her? She couldn't bring herself to tell him the truth, she was not sure about their relationship. That was so new..It was impossible to be sure of their feelings for each other.
"Max...I've already told you...Sean and me, we've decided to take a step back and to live each other life alone. I mean I'm not with him and I want to see where my path will lead me. I've been honest when I told you that I didn't know what to do with my life. Be patient please...Soon, I'll tell you." she pleaded.
"So you don't know what to do with your life....you have Sean on one side and me on the other side and we're waiting for you, both....That's what you mean Liz?" he asked looking upset.
"Max, when you're saying it like this, that sounds like if I was a bitch.... that sounds stupid and selfish...But I'm not. I mean....Sean knows that I'm bored in my life with him....he knows about you..."
"Luckier than me! He knows about me but I don't know about him. Does he know that we slept together?"
"Yeah....That's what I meant....He told me that I had 3 months to decide with who I want to be in my life" that wasn't exactly what Sean had said but Liz was not sure of her future after the 3 next months.
"3 months? He gave you 3 months to be with me!!! and after that?" he inquired angry now.
"Please Max! Don't be mad at me...I didn't want to talk about him...You pushed me!" she pleaded again.
"What are saying Liz? If I didn't question you about him, you would have continued with me for 3 months and then you would have decided who was the best for you! That's what you had in mind?" he was furious there.
"Max....Please....Listen to me...You and me, we just met yesterday....You might love me but we don't really know each other, none of us is able today to say IF we'll be together in one year or 10 years. Do you get what I want to tell you. Today we are together and you're right, that's wonderful....But who knows in one month...one year....Can you understand my point of you.
"Liz, to tell the truth, I can't agree with you playing on the 2 sides. You can't have me and Sean in the same time. You have to make a choice! I said that I wouldn't hurt you but I should have added that I didn't want to be hurt too. I mean you know my feelings for you, I didn't hide them from you....I can't live with that sword above my head, I can't live and always wonder if you'll be here the day after or not. I want to be with you Liz completely...I refuse to share you!" he stated firmly.
Liz looked at him, she could read his anger after what she did. She couldn't tell him who was Sean, really, but she had to tell him about his proposition, she liked him and she didn't want to loose him.
"It's ok Max..." she said and wrapped her hands around his neck, flirting.
"OK? You mean that you'll stay with me? I told you that I refuse to share you with him or anyone else..."
"It's ok...you won't share me...." she said kissing him everywhere on his face.
"WAIT!" he said and pulled her back "Are you serious? Are you staying with me? Forever?" he asked suspicious.
"Forever, I can't swear it cause, tomorrow, you'll be able to find another woman....but I'm staying with you for now. If you want it, of course!"
"If I want it? Are you kidding me? I asked you....G-d Liz! I thought that I should have to leave you because of that man...I thought that you was going to see him despite my feelings for you." he said and he kissed her back.
"Max...I don't know what are my feelings for you but I love to be in your arms and I don't want you to leave me....Let's live the present moment and forget everything else!"
Max didn't answer but poured all his love in the kiss he gave her....
And Liz couldn't help but wonder how much time will pass before he finds out about her marriage. She pushed that thought in a corner of her mind and just enjoyed Max's passionate kisses. Tomorrow is another day!

One month later
"Hello!"
"Liz, hi it's me Maria...Look, I hope that you have nothing planned for tonight."
"Why?"
"First tell me do you have plans for tonight?"
"Maria! stop asking, I'd like to know what you have to offer!"
"A super charity party. With all the famous people of the city, Michael and Max are invited and Michael asked me to call you. Satisfied."
"Max didn't tell me about that. Since when do you know about it?"
"Two weeks. Michael refused that I interfered in your affair with Max, that's why I didn't call you before." she tried to explain. Actually, Michael refused that Maria called her. He said that it was Max's part to invite Liz, and if he didn't tell her, that's because he didn't want to go with her.
"TWO WEEKS?? Are you sure? Max didn't tell me anything about that party. I have to talk with him first."she said angry.
"Liz, come on! I'm sure that Max was too busy and that he forgot. Don't resent him for hiding that from you, I'm sure that he has a reason. Maybe he doesn't want to go and he doesn't want to tell you for you to not press him to attend that event!"
"Maria!! I'm not Max's agent, I'm....I'm...." she stopped unable to put a name on their relationship.
Truth was that they are living together since that day where she told him about Sean's deal. Max was working at the hospital with Michael and Liz spent the money he gave her. She was happy like this even if she found that Max began to work too much. But what was she for him? His girlfriend? His lover? She didn't know.
"Liz...Did you tell him?"
"About Sean? Just a part...the part about the deal Sean made with me...."
"A DEAL? What did that asshole ask from you this time?"
"Maria...he's not an asshole. It's hard for him too."
"Too? Are you saying that it's hard for you to be with Max Evans?"
"Maria! You're turning all my words against me! I said that for Sean that was hard to see his wife having someone else in her life!"
"First...he should have known before always being busy with his team instead of showering you and being with you...second....nobody pressured you to have an affair with Max! It's your choice!! And I think that you're enjoying that life, aren't you?"
"Of course I do. Even if I think that Max begins to be as busy as Sean. But he's an angel when he comes back home. And I don't know many men who give their credit card to their......let's say lover, to spend their money for themselves. Max allowed me to buy everything I want with his credit card. Sean never did that."
"Maybe because he thought that you would have emptied his bank account!" Maria said ironically.
"Maria!! Are you my friend really?" she cried out angry.
"Liz, Max is great with you but don't abuse. He won't appreciate that you spend his money like you're doing. Listen to me."
"Did he say something to Michael?" Liz inquired worried.
"Of course not. But why don't you look for a job? I'm sure that you would appreciate to work for change."
"WORK? Come on Maria!! The men of my life are ready to make me live without me working, why don't I enjoy that? I'm not ready to work. Maybe later."
"You're too spoiled Liz! That's not good. Anyway...For the moment, I call you about tonight. Let's see what Max has in store for you."
"If he tells me about that charity! We'll see. Maybe I'll see you then."
"Ok..See you later girlfriend."
After she hung up, Liz stayed a while contemplating the idea that maybe Max was ashamed to be with her, that would explain why he didn't talk about that charity event. That idea saddened her and she felt depressed.
She wrapped her legs with her arms and put her head on her knees. Tears began to fill her eyes and she was unable to restrain them; for the first time of her life Liz Parker felt rejected, lost....alone.
How much time she stayed on that couch crying, she didn't remember cause she fell asleep. When she felt someone shake her shoulder she startled and screamed. "Liz..It's me..." Max said.
He switched on the light and came beside her worried. "Liz? Why are you sleeping here in the dark? I thought that you were out, I'm sorry I didn't mean to startle you."
"It's ok...I stayed at home today...I didn't want to go out." she said sadly, remembering that he didn't say a word about the event.
"Come on" he said lifting her. He pulled her into his arms and rocked her slowly "What happened today that saddened you that way? Tell me Liz, you know that I don't want you to feel bad." he whispered and kissed her temple.
Liz looked at him, stunned. How could he be so caring since he was going to an event without her. He hid that from her and that what hurt her the most.
In the same time, she felt angry cause he was laughing at her if he had no idea of what was annoying her. She stood up. She couldn't help but let her bitterness take the best of herself "Don't you really know why I cried today?"
"You cried? Baby, what happened? Tell me!"
Liz began to enrage "Are you kidding me? Max don't you really know why? I can't believe that you don't know, that you're lying to me, hidding from me....Tell me Max, are you ashamed to be with me? Are you fed up of me? Do you want me to leave? Tell me...I'd like to know."
Max looked at her as if she was an alien, he didn't understand a word and most of all why was she so angry? "Liz, I'm sorry but I don't understand. Why should I be ashamed to be with you? And NO, I don't want you to leave me! Of course not. I was happy to come back home and...."
Suddenly, he realized that he didn't tell her about the charity event they have to attend tonight. She might have known about it and as he didn't talk about, she felt rejected.
"Who told you?" he asked. Even if he was sorry for her, he wanted to play a little. He had a surprise for her but he wanted ennerve her a little before he gave it to her.
"WHO TOLD ME? TOLD ME WHAT??"
"You know what I'm talking about. Don't play Liz...Who told you? Maria?"
"Of course Maria, who else? WHY MAX? Why did you hide it from me?" she cried

"THE CHARITY EVENT ASSHOLE!!!! Are you ashamed? Are you fed up of me? I can't understand why you hid it from me. You should have said that you wanted to go alone, that would have been.....more....more...Oh! leave me alone! I don't know why I talk to you. Go to your event, I don't care. I'll find something to do tonight."
"Like what? Going to a club and hanging out with some guy you could meet there? Is it how you conceive a relationship? Cause I won't accept it"
"What are you talking about Max? You hid that event from me, not the contrary! So don't come with your big phrases, will you!" she cried out.
"So you're mad because I didn't tell you about the charity, aren't you? You thought in your little mad head that I would like to go alone or maybe with someone else! Is that right? Tell me Liz?"
"YES!! That's what I'm thinking! Are you going there with someone else?" she asked panicked.
Max saw the fear and pain in her eyes and decided that it was enough, he didn't want her to cry and she was on the verge of tears.
"Come with me Liz, I'd like to show you something." he said softly. He stretched out his hand "Give me your hand Baby."
Liz looked up into his eyes, he was staring at her lovingly "Where do you want me to go?" she asked not wanting to surrender yet.
Max smiled "Don't make your stubborned head and trust me. I have a surprise for you. You have to go to our room to see it."
"If you think that I'm going to sleep with you....."
"Liz...How could you think that I want to trap you to sleep with you? I thought that you knew me better than that...And you know that I don't need to promise anything for you to sleep with me..." he said with a proud smile.
"You jerk! What do you want to show me?" she asked smirking.
"Come with me and you'll know. I don't want to trap you, I really have a surprise for you. Trust me."
She put her tiny hand in his and followed him upstairs. There, he opened the dressing and pulled out a fabulous gown. "Wow! it's fantastic!"
She was in front a white silky strapless dress, the most beautiful dress she ever saw. "Is that dress for me?" she asked shyly. She couldn't believe that he bought it for her.
"No, just for my lover. I'd like you to tell me if that dress will please her." he retorted angrily. How could she be so insecured. She knew that he was head over heels in love with her.
Liz looked at him surprised by the tone of his voice. "I'm sorry....Max, please forgive my behavior...I thought that you...."
"I wonder how your ex-boyfriend was? I'm not like him Liz..I'm not ashamed to be with you! That's the opposite! I want everybody see the fabulous woman who shares my life. Can you keep in mind that I'm in love with you and nothing will ever change that." he said grabbing her arms and shaking her a little.
"Ok..." she breathed.
He put a finger under her chin and lifted her head "I love you. Can you put that in your little twisted mind?" he said and to prove it, he gave her a scorching kiss. "Will that help you to stop doubting of my love for you?" he panted
"Yes.." she whispered burning with desire.
"Liz don't look at me this way or we won't go to that damned event tonight!" he said aroused.
But Liz had other ideas in mind. She brushed his erection seductively "I think that you're not ready to go out but you're ready for me Baby! OOOPPS..."
Max didn't let her go on and lifted her in his arms. He threw her on the bed and fell above her "I'm going to show you how ready I'm for you..." he said and captured her mouth fiercely.
"You're driving me wild Liz! No one had that effect on me before you.." he said.
"Believe me Max, I've never been that bold before you..." she said smiling against his lips.
They finished to undress each other and they made love like if it was the last time. Max wanted to mark her, to make her understand that he was hers forever and vice versa. Liz wanted to loose herself into his arms, his warmth...
She realized that she accused him to hide something from her since she was doing it from the begining. She felt that he was not just her lover, she cared for him a lot.
After a long while, they dressed. Liz was like a princess in her white gown and Max was fabulous in his tuxedo. When they arrived at the charity, a lot of men looked at Liz with desire and the women wondered what that petite woman had to deserve the loving looks Max gave her.
"You see, we're late and everybody are looking at us. I don't feel comfortable with all those looks on us." she said shyly.
"They're looking at you cause they are jealous." he said smiling. "They wanted to be as gorgeous as you are, but they can't, there is only one Liz Parker and she's mine. However, I don't know if I won't end that event punching one or two of those men who are undressing you." he said angry.
Liz laughed "How do you think I'm feeling seeing all the women drooling over you?" she asked and she tightened her grip on his arm. Max feel happy to see her jealous, he didn't care of those women but he loved to see Liz acting like if he was hers.
They joined Michael and Maria which were talking with some other friends of Michaeland himself. The evening went by gently, they danced together and enjoyed the event.
Suddenly, they heard a drum roll and the speaker came to announce the begining of the auction sales. "I didn't know that there were auction sales. I thought that the entrance price was high enough." Liz said
"No...They need a lot of money. You know the hospital has a lot of people waiting for a heart transplant without talking about the equipement which is getting old now." Max explained.
Liz realized how important Max's job was and how great and thoughtful he was for his patients. She couldn't help but took his hand and squeezzed it. Max looked at her with such love in his eyes that she felt her heart skip a beat.
The auction went by wonderfully, people attending the event knew that it was more than important to subsidize the hospital. They heard another drum roll. And the speaker came to announce the last auction sale : a fabulous emeralds necklace.
When they showed the necklace, every women looked at it with envy, it was really gorgeous. Liz couldn't help but smile when she realized that Maria was expecting Michael to buy it for her.
The battle to win the necklace was hard, every men wanted to please their compagnions. The auction reached the 10 000 dollars, Liz was so captived that she didn't see Max lifting his hand to make the last offer. Only the claps startled her and she wondered why Maria was smiling at her.
She didn't understand why Max stood up and walked toward the stage. When she saw the speaker give him the necklace, she was shocked. *How could Max spend that money for that necklace? I hope he didn't buy it for me...I'm dying with shame if he did.* she thought.
Max came down from the stage and walked proudly toward her. In front of the crowd, he opened the box. "Liz...." he whispered.
Like a ghost, she pushed her hair for him to put the fabulous necklace around her neck. Then he kissed her tenderly and the crowd clapped again.
The poor Liz was red, unable to move. Max just presented her as his in front of all the Roswell high society and she just wanted to die. She was living in a lie and he didn't know anything about it. She excused herself and went to the restroom.
When she reached the hallway, someone was waiting for her: Sean, her husband.

How much time she stayed on that couch crying, she didn't remember cause she fell asleep. When she felt someone shake her shoulder she startled and screamed. "Liz..It's me..." Max said.
He switched on the light and came beside her worried. "Liz? Why are you sleeping here in the dark? I thought that you were out, I'm sorry I didn't mean to startle you."
"It's ok...I stayed at home today...I didn't want to go out." she said sadly, remembering that he didn't say a word about the event.
"Come on" he said lifting her. He pulled her into his arms and rocked her slowly "What happened today that saddened you that way? Tell me Liz, you know that I don't want you to feel bad." he whispered and kissed her temple.
Liz looked at him, stunned. How could he be so caring since he was going to an event without her. He hid that from her and that what hurt her the most.
In the same time, she felt angry cause he was laughing at her if he had no idea of what was annoying her. She stood up. She couldn't help but let her bitterness take the best of herself "Don't you really know why I cried today?"
"You cried? Baby, what happened? Tell me!"
Liz began to enrage "Are you kidding me? Max don't you really know why? I can't believe that you don't know, that you're lying to me, hidding from me....Tell me Max, are you ashamed to be with me? Are you fed up of me? Do you want me to leave? Tell me...I'd like to know."
Max looked at her as if she was an alien, he didn't understand a word and most of all why was she so angry? "Liz, I'm sorry but I don't understand. Why should I be ashamed to be with you? And NO, I don't want you to leave me! Of course not. I was happy to come back home and...."
Suddenly, he realized that he didn't tell her about the charity event they have to attend tonight. She might have known about it and as he didn't talk about, she felt rejected.
"Who told you?" he asked. Even if he was sorry for her, he wanted to play a little. He had a surprise for her but he wanted ennerve her a little before he gave it to her.
"WHO TOLD ME? TOLD ME WHAT??"
"You know what I'm talking about. Don't play Liz...Who told you? Maria?"
"Of course Maria, who else? WHY MAX? Why did you hide it from me?" she cried
"Hide what?"
"THE CHARITY EVENT ASSHOLE!!!! Are you ashamed? Are you fed up of me? I can't understand why you hid it from me. You should have said that you wanted to go alone, that would have been.....more....more...Oh! leave me alone! I don't know why I talk to you. Go to your event, I don't care. I'll find something to do tonight."
"Like what? Going to a club and hanging out with some guy you could meet there? Is it how you conceive a relationship? Cause I won't accept it"
"What are you talking about Max? You hid that event from me, not the contrary! So don't come with your big phrases, will you!" she cried out.

"YES!! That's what I'm thinking! Are you going there with someone else?" she asked panicked.
Max saw the fear and pain in her eyes and decided that it was enough, he didn't want her to cry and she was on the verge of tears.
"Come with me Liz, I'd like to show you something." he said softly. He stretched out his hand "Give me your hand Baby."
Liz looked up into his eyes, he was staring at her lovingly "Where do you want me to go?" she asked not wanting to surrender yet.
Max smiled "Don't make your stubborned head and trust me. I have a surprise for you. You have to go to our room to see it."
"If you think that I'm going to sleep with you....."
"Liz...How could you think that I want to trap you to sleep with you? I thought that you knew me better than that...And you know that I don't need to promise anything for you to sleep with me..." he said with a proud smile.
"You jerk! What do you want to show me?" she asked smirking.
"Come with me and you'll know. I don't want to trap you, I really have a surprise for you. Trust me."
She put her tiny hand in his and followed him upstairs. There, he opened the dressing and pulled out a fabulous gown. "Wow! it's fantastic!"
She was in front a white silky strapless dress, the most beautiful dress she ever saw. "Is that dress for me?" she asked shyly. She couldn't believe that he bought it for her.
"No, just for my lover. I'd like you to tell me if that dress will please her." he retorted angrily. How could she be so insecured. She knew that he was head over heels in love with her.
Liz looked at him surprised by the tone of his voice. "I'm sorry....Max, please forgive my behavior...I thought that you...."
"I wonder how your ex-boyfriend was? I'm not like him Liz..I'm not ashamed to be with you! That's the opposite! I want everybody see the fabulous woman who shares my life. Can you keep in mind that I'm in love with you and nothing will ever change that." he said grabbing her arms and shaking her a little.
"Ok..." she breathed.
He put a finger under her chin and lifted her head "I love you. Can you put that in your little twisted mind?" he said and to prove it, he gave her a scorching kiss. "Will that help you to stop doubting of my love for you?" he panted
"Yes.." she whispered burning with desire.
"Liz don't look at me this way or we won't go to that damned event tonight!" he said aroused.
But Liz had other ideas in mind. She brushed his erection seductively "I think that you're not ready to go out but you're ready for me Baby! OOOPPS..."
Max didn't let her go on and lifted her in his arms. He threw her on the bed and fell above her "I'm going to show you how ready I'm for you..." he said and captured her mouth fiercely.
"You're driving me wild Liz! No one had that effect on me before you.." he said.
"Believe me Max, I've never been that bold before you..." she said smiling against his lips.
They finished to undress each other and they made love like if it was the last time. Max wanted to mark her, to make her understand that he was hers forever and vice versa. Liz wanted to loose herself into his arms, his warmth...
She realized that she accused him to hide something from her since she was doing it from the begining. She felt that he was not just her lover, she cared for him a lot.
After a long while, they dressed. Liz was like a princess in her white gown and Max was fabulous in his tuxedo. When they arrived at the charity, a lot of men looked at Liz with desire and the women wondered what that petite woman had to deserve the loving looks Max gave her.
"You see, we're late and everybody are looking at us. I don't feel comfortable with all those looks on us." she said shyly.
"They're looking at you cause they are jealous." he said smiling. "They wanted to be as gorgeous as you are, but they can't, there is only one Liz Parker and she's mine. However, I don't know if I won't end that event punching one or two of those men who are undressing you." he said angry.
Liz laughed "How do you think I'm feeling seeing all the women drooling over you?" she asked and she tightened her grip on his arm. Max feel happy to see her jealous, he didn't care of those women but he loved to see Liz acting like if he was hers.
They joined Michael and Maria which were talking with some other friends of Michaeland himself. The evening went by gently, they danced together and enjoyed the event.
Suddenly, they heard a drum roll and the speaker came to announce the begining of the auction sales. "I didn't know that there were auction sales. I thought that the entrance price was high enough." Liz said
"No...They need a lot of money. You know the hospital has a lot of people waiting for a heart transplant without talking about the equipement which is getting old now." Max explained.
Liz realized how important Max's job was and how great and thoughtful he was for his patients. She couldn't help but took his hand and squeezzed it. Max looked at her with such love in his eyes that she felt her heart skip a beat.
The auction went by wonderfully, people attending the event knew that it was more than important to subsidize the hospital. They heard another drum roll. And the speaker came to announce the last auction sale : a fabulous emeralds necklace.
When they showed the necklace, every women looked at it with envy, it was really gorgeous. Liz couldn't help but smile when she realized that Maria was expecting Michael to buy it for her.
The battle to win the necklace was hard, every men wanted to please their compagnions. The auction reached the 10 000 dollars, Liz was so captived that she didn't see Max lifting his hand to make the last offer. Only the claps startled her and she wondered why Maria was smiling at her.
She didn't understand why Max stood up and walked toward the stage. When she saw the speaker give him the necklace, she was shocked. *How could Max spend that money for that necklace? I hope he didn't buy it for me...I'm dying with shame if he did.* she thought.
Max came down from the stage and walked proudly toward her. In front of the crowd, he opened the box. "Liz...." he whispered.
Like a ghost, she pushed her hair for him to put the fabulous necklace around her neck. Then he kissed her tenderly and the crowd clapped again.
The poor Liz was red, unable to move. Max just presented her as his in front of all the Roswell high society and she just wanted to die. She was living in a lie and he didn't know anything about it. She excused herself and went to the restroom.
When she reached the hallway, someone was waiting for her: Sean, her husband.

hi guys, I'm back with another chapter. it's a little hard for me to write for the moment...RL is eating me. anyway, I wrote the chapter and sorry if it's not as long as the other. I'll do better next time.
I know that some of you have been shocked by Liz's spoiled behavior, I'm sorry if I describe a really shocking woman here...but give her some time...give me some chapters...and she'll understand.
I'd like to say that, even if the necklace costs a fortune, Max bought it for Liz of course, but like he said, the hospital had a lot of needs. And yes, even if Liz is a spoiled brat, she knows that she has no right to receive such a gift from Max, and she feels ashamed, mostly because she is still hidding the truth from him.

"Sean!....Wh...what are you doing here?" she stammered. She couldn't help to look behind to see if someone could hear and see them.
"Did you forget that I'm well-known in Roswell? Don't you know that I built that building? That's normal for me to be here maybe more than your lover. By the way, does he know about me? Does he know that you're married and that you have only 2 months letf with him? Did you tell him?" he asked with pain but also contempt in his eyes.
Liz didn't answer. She knew that he was right. She didn't tell anything to Max and tonight he showed to all that high society that she was his. She looked at him, he seemed a little drunk and she was surprised because Sean was not that kind of guy usually getting drunk when he was in the high society.
"Do you know that some of my friends and clients are here? What do you think they'll seeing my wife receiving that necklace? You're his whore, do you know that? He just wanted to show them that he had a beautiful woman as his whore." he continued to harrass her.
"He loves me. He bought me that necklace to tell me how much he loved me, not to show to the Roswell high society that I'm sleeping with him!" she said angry.
"But what do you think he'll believe when he'll find out that you're married? What do you think he'll tell you then? Did you contemplate the idea that he'd throw you out of his life that day? I'm waiting for that day, Liz. I'm waiting for you to come back home...your home....2 months!" he said grabbing her arm.
"Leave me alone Sean. I'm not scared of you so don't play the bad boy. You're jealous and you want to hurt me with your words, but it doesn't work this way. I know that Max is head over the heels in love with me...You won't change that.."
"And you? Do you love him?" he asked, scared to hear that he lost her forever.
"I don't know. I care for him....deeply. Love? I think that I don't even know what is it? He makes me happy and that's all what I want Sean."
"How selfish you are! Finally I'm not jealous of him, I feel bad for him. He doesn't know that he's in love with a bitch, a woman who has a stone at the heart's place. Poor man, he doesn't know that he should leave you before you break his heart forever." Sean said smiling.
"If I am what you say, why do you want me to come back in 2 months?" she asked proudly.
"Because we have a deal you and me Liz. Because you're my wife and I intend to stay married till the end of my life....because I can't get you out of my mind since you left home....because I'm a poor man madly in love with his wife." he confessed sadly.
"Sean..." she said softly. "I don't want to hurt you. I don't want to hurt Max. Maybe you're right, maybe I'm selfish but what can I do? I'm who I'm and I don't want people suffer because of me. I care for you Sean. You said it, even if the situation is weird, I'm still your wife...but Sean....what if I fall in love with Max? Will you let me live my life with him? Will you let me go?"
"I thought that you didn't know what love was? How could you fall in love with him? Why couldn't you fall in love with me, you said I'm your husband. If you might have loved someone, that should be me."
Liz looked at him. He was her husband since long but she was certain that she would never fall in love with him. She cared for him but love? No, impossible. She wouldn't have cheated on him with Max if there was a little chance to really love him....
That was different with Max. She had the sensation that he was special, that he made her special too. She never felt that with her husband. Sean was waiting for her answer but she couldn't tell him.
"Sean...I think that my parents didn't teach me how to love people. I care for them but I don't know what love could be. That's me...."
"I won't give up on you Liz. You're my wife and I don't think that I'll allow you to be with another one. I mean, you can have your little affair with that man, but you'll come back home...you'll come back to me. It can't be otherwise." he said shaking her arms.
"LIZ....LIZ!" they heard Maria calling her.
Without letting Sean react, Liz ran toward her friend. "I'm here...."
"Where were you? Max is looking for you." she said when Liz came toward her. She saw someone pass behind them and Liz stiffen. "Who is...Oh my G-d! Sean! You were with Sean? Hell Liz! you can't do that to Max! Not after all that he did tonight for you! How dare you?" she said infuriated.
"Calm down Maria! and shut up....Do you want everyone hear you?"
"Come on Liz...You're not that bitch! You can't do that to Max....What's going on with you? Are you crazy? You cheated on your husband with Max and now, you're cheating on Max with your husband? Are you that immoral? I can't believe it...." she continued to harrass Liz.
"Maria....Maria...Listen to me. I'm not cheating on Max with Sean! Do you hear what I'm saying? I found him here when I wanted to go out a little after the necklace thing."
"Oh my G-d the necklace! Max bought it for you since every women in the hall were dreaming of being at your place. How could you Liz?....Wait you said that you found him here? You didn't tell him to....You didn't know that he was here?"

Maria, you thought that I asked Sean to join me here after all that Max did for me and I'm not only talking about the necklace, but that wonderful gown too, not talking about her amazing love for me. "I'm sorry Liz. I didn't know, listen, I lost my mind when I saw Sean passing. I thought that...ok stop that. Max was looking for you, I'm scared that Michael will look for me too. Come on, let's go and see our men." she said taking her arm and lead her into the hall.
They found Max and Michael talking with people they worked with. When he saw her, Max's eyes lit up and he walked toward her "Where were you? I was looking for you...I missed you." he added in her ears, sending shivers to her spine.
"I wanted to go out a little. I'm sorry I didn't mean to annoy you."
"I thought that, once the necklace around your neck, you fled the event. How do you find it? It's the last detail that make look like a queen. You were the Queen of the event tonight Liz." he said lovingly.
"Thanks to you and your amazing necklace without forgetting that fabulous gown. You spoiled me Max. That's why I could be the Queen tonight. All the women wanted to be at my place tonight and I'm not talking only about the necklace, if you want my opinion."
"Even if you found here and there a woman envying you, you're the only one for me Liz. And if you give me a moment to say goodbyes, I'll show you." he whispered, making her blush like a little girl.
"I love when you're shy Liz...I love when your delicious cheeks flush, you're so beautiful. Tonight you were the most beautiful woman of the event. That's why all the women were envious and the men jealous. I have to take care of you, I don't want another man to take you from me." he said brushing her cheeks with his lips.
"Max...I'm leaving now." Michael said and he glared at Liz.
"Yeah me too. I was waiting for Liz to come back."
"I hope that you appreciated the gift Max offered you Liz! He spent a fortune for you. I hope you'll deserve it."

"If you think so... I hope you know what you do." he said and left them abruptly.

They left the hall without seeing a man spying on them ....Sean.
But he was not the only one. Not far from here, another person was spying on them. "I know your little secret Liz and don't worry you won't enjoy your little life very long after I take care of it...Soon, you'll learn what that means to take the man I love from me.... Count on me." she said with hatred in her iceblue eyes.
She walked toward Sean and brushed seductively his arm "Why do you drool over her Sean? She doesn't deserve your love. Let me show you what love, real love is." she said.
"I'm sorry Tess, I'm not in the mood tonight. See you tomorrow at work." he said and left the event.

A week later, at Sean's office
"Hi everbody! I hope you've had a wonderful weekend!" Sean said to his crew when he walked into his office.

I agree with her to have a affair for 3 months, I let her enjoy that life and she'll come back home after those months and everything will be forgotten. We'll be back to our previous life and Liz won't complain this time. Do you follow me, good idea no?" he asked
"So you agree to take her back after that affair? How can you not throw her out of your life for good? That's all that she deserves for not loving you like you need to be loved." she said bitterly.

Chapter 14
A week later, at Sean's office
"Hi everbody! I hope you've had a wonderful weekend!" Sean said to his crew when he walked into his office.
He was in a good mood this morning, he spent a wonderful weekend with a friend of his and didn't think about his wife Liz for once.
He saw Tess coming toward him with a cup of coffee "Here's your coffee Sean. How was your weekend?" she asked

"The same as always. What didn't you call me? I thought that you would spend some times with me. I've waited for your call." she pouted.
"Tess you know what I said! I don't want to have a regular affair, I'm a married man. You know that I love to have sex with you but you're not the only one, Dear. I've already a wife and that's enough for me." he said as he stepped into his office.
"Do I have mail?" he asked as he sat down behind his desk.

"I've been surprised to see her last week and more than surprised when Max Evans bought the necklace for her and gave it to her in front of Roswell high society. Did you tell her that she was embarrassing you?"
"Tess, this is none of your business but I'll answer. I made a deal with her. I agree with her to have a affair for 3 months, I let her enjoy that life and she'll come back home after those months and everything will be forgotten. We'll be back to our previous life and Liz won't complain this time. Do you follow me, good idea no?" he asked
"So you agree to take her back after that affair? How can you not throw her out of your life for good? That's all that she deserves for not loving you like you need to be loved." she said bitterly.
"Tess...Tess... I'm sure of that your affection for me, but more than anyone else you know that I couldn't refuse to let her have that affair. I'm not innocent and you know it. "Liz, you have one week left before the end of the period we fixed. How are you going to tell him that it's over if you haven't told him that you were married?"
"That's none of your business Sean. I'll deal with Max when time will come. You said it, I have a week before the deal ends and I'm going to enjoy every minutes that I have with him. Don't call me again, I'll do it when it'll be over." she said sternly.
When she hung up she froze. Hearing her voice when she talked with her husband made her feel cold, like if that was not Max she was talking about. Max who continued to shower her every day. She felt tears on her cheeks. She knew that her time is coming to the end with him but she couldn't help to regret what she had done. He didn't deserve to be hurt like he'll be soon.
But like she said to Sean, she had one week to enjoy him and shower him. She won't waste time complaining or anything else. She had 7 days and nights to show him how much she loved beeing with him and she hoped that he'll forgive her...later..

*7 days left...7 days left* Liz couldn't help but repeat again and again. Since Sean called her she didn't stop thinking that soon she would leave Max for good and she couldn't bring herself to admit it. He has been so wonderful for her, no one, not even her husband, spoiled her like Max did it and the amazing thing was that he didn't wait for anything from her just to love him.
He never stopped to tell her how deep in love with her he was and she never returned the feeling. She surely had feelings for him, after all she was not a slut and couldn't make love with him if she hadn't those feelings, but love...... she didn't even know what love is. She married Sean without really loving him, he was funny and rich but most of all, he wanted her.
She was engrossed with her thoughts when she felt 2 soft hands on her shoulders. She startled "WH....Maax! silly, you scared me to death!" she said wrapping her arms around his waist.
"I'm sorry, I didn't want it. You were so absorbed that you didn't hear when I said that I was home. Everything's ok?"he asked with concern.
"How couldn't it be? I'm like a queen here, showered by the most wonderful man I ever met. All the women are jealous of me because of you. What could I ask for more?" she said and kissed him softly.
"Just that you love me and you can't figure your life without me anymore." he said and Liz saw pain in his beautiful eyes.
She felt guilty. She knew that hearing her confess her love was the only thing Max was waiting for, but she couldn't do it. A little voice in the bottom of her heart prevented her to feel free to express those feelings. The little voice always reminded her of her husband, waiting for her in their house. She pushed the thought away and smiled to Max. "Max, you know how I feel!" she said and she kissed him deeply.
Max lost himself in her arms, he loved her so much. Sometimes he was afraid that he could wake up and not find her beside him in their bed. He knew that she was hiding something from him and he was waiting patiently for her to come to tell him, but the days went by and nothing happened. Even if he was deceived, he was not the man who would push her for saying.
The kiss deepened and heated between them and soon they were falling on the bed. "Maax...You make me feel so good!" Liz moaned
"I want you Liz, now." he said his eyes burning with desire. He undressed her quickly and he did the same for him. Liz couldn't help but stare at his gorgeous body. Maybe that would be easier for her to leave him next week if she told him the truth...
*NO! I can't tell him! I want to spend that time with him, I want him to love me. I want to enjoy every second we could spend together. I'd need to make some memories for the future.* she thought.
Once again, Liz kept silent about her plans to leave him next week. She looked at him, brushed his cheek with her slender fingers "I don't want to leave you Max." she said, locking her eyes with his. Even if she didn't tell him the truth, she couldn't bring herself to lie, she really didn't want to leave him.
That was all that Max needed to hear. He leant toward her and kissed her fiercely. He couldn't get enough of her and Liz showed him how much she was enjoying lovemaking with him.
They made love several times that night, each of them needed to melt inside of the other and forget everything.
But despite everything, time went by very quickly and the 7th day arrived faster that Liz would have expected. She couldn't change anything, she had promised to her husband that she would be back home today and she couldn't postpone that any longer.

"Yes...Thank you. Tess I'm sorry, I've to go." he said and more or less pushed her out of his cabinet.
He closed the door and sat on the couch, devasted. That Tess was right, he was going to fall down with the shock he received. *That can't be true! Liz couldn't be married! She couldn't make a fool of me, that was too cruel...No, I'm certain that this girl was jealous of Liz because of the necklace and she wanted to make some trouble. I'm going home and Liz will sooth all my fears. I'm sure of that!* he thought and relieved, he called his secretary to cancel all his meetings.
When he arrived at home, he found Liz packing her things and panicked. "What are you doing Liz?" he asked huskily.
"Max!!! You scared me to death! What are you doing here? You're not working today!" she said a hand on her chest to calm her heart. *Why did he come back before I left his house?*
She had decided to leave him a note and escape silently. She didn't want to tell him. Unfortunately fate decided otherwise.
"I'm sure that you didn't expect me so soon. I met a friend of you, actually she came at the cabinet and she told me a very interesting story. But I don't know why, I bet that yours is thousand times better, huh?" he said with a calm he was far to feel.
"A friend of mine? What's her name?"
"Tess...Tess Harding. The weird thing is that she made a mistake with your name. She told me that your name was Deluca. Actually that was your husband's name. That's but a fairy tale, don't you agree with me?" Max asked.
He saw Liz turn pale and almost faint. *That was the truth! that girl didn't lie. That's Liz the liar in that case.* he thought desperately. He wanted her to tell him that Tess was a liar, a jealous that didn't stand her. But Liz kept silent and bent her eyes without a word.
Liz was devasted. That bitch went to talk to Max, she even didn't know very well Miss Harding, she just knew that she was Sean's assistante. Why? Why did she tell to Max? What was her interest in that story? Jealousy? for what? She couldn't understand. She glanced at Max and seeing him so hurt brought tears in her eyes. She should have told him before, maybe since the begining. He might hate her for the moment.
"M..Max...I'm....I'm sorry. I...I...I didn't mean to hurt you or to make a fool of you. I'm sorry." she said pitifully.
"You're sorry for what Liz? Lying to me? Make me fall in love with you? For what? Tell me Liz." he said angrily.
"You're right, I should have told you before. I should have....I should..." she said but unable to speak she bent her head and cry.
"So that's true. You're married. And you slept with me though....WHY? To go out of your so boring life? WHY Liz? I want to know, I've the right to know!!!!" he yelled at her.

"That's it!! You're sorry and I've to accept that excuse...So you're sorry, ok, what else?" he said grabbing her arms.
"Maax! You're hurting me!" she said trying to escape, but she stopped moving when he looked at her. There she saw the real hurt, the real pain....and she felt ashamed and guilty.
"What I am for you Liz? You don't care about my feelings! No, you use me and now you decide to leave me. You're a devil Liz! You make me fall in love with you...madly in love with you...and now...now you throw me like an old sock in that too big house." he said with tears flowing on his cheeks. "I was a stallion for you, only here to shower your craziest desires"
She looked at him. For a second, she was near to give in and stay, but she was determinded to take her life in her hands and to fully live it and she had to flee far from him, far from all the lies she lived with...She had a life waiting for her somewhere else.
She wanted to forget this life for a while, she was bored and locked in it and she chose to leave it for a while, to play a role. She decided to seduce a man and to be the player for once, after all that was always the men who were the players!
She straightened herself and looked at him "I'm sorry Max, I didn't mean to hurt you that way. I hope someday you'll forgive me. You deserve a good girl, I'm not the one for you. I'll never be. Just know that I'm sorry that it was you." she said and she walked out of the room, looking straight in front of her.
After she closed the door behind her, Max let go all his pain and collapsed on the couch, sobbing. She was gone...And the silent filled his house.
In the meantime, in the street, a petite brunette was starting her car but a ring stopped her "Hello?....Yeah, I left him....This affair is over, I'm coming home."

That day, Max was working like any other day, but he received someone that had a big secret to tell him. Something he couldn't have figured. That day Max had the bad luck to receive Tess Harding.
"Well hello Miss Harding, my secretary told me that you didn't feel good. She told me that you were suffocated lately, I think that we should make some exams to see if it's about your heart or your lungs." Max said as Tess was sitting in front of him.
"Dr Evans, I don't think that's my lungs since I don't feel anything when I breathe deeply, it's really here" she said sugarly showing the place her heart was ponding quietly.
"What do you feel when you breathe? Oh, I didn't ask you before but do you smoke?" Max asked
"No, I have a lot of flaws but not this one." she replied chuckling.
Max laughed too "I'm glad to hear that, you know how smoking could damage your heart or your lungs. But if you don't smoke I have to seek for another reason. You're too young to have a heart attack. Tell me exactly how do you feel and I'll be able to tell you what to do." Max said gently.
"Well actually Max....can I call you Max?" she asked flirting openly with him.
"Hmmm...Yeah, yeah of course." Max replied really embarrassed.
"Well call me Tess. We're almost like family after all." she said with a bright smile.
"Excuse me?" Max said shocked.
"Yeah, you know my good friend Liz Deluca! I saw you with her at that event you left all the women jealous of her because of the amazing necklace you gave her." she said looking innocent but narrowing her eyes
"I think that you're mistaking Tess, I don't know Liz Deluca....."
"Of course you do, the brunette you gave the necklace! That's her, Liz Deluca! Or maybe you know her as Liz Parker, Deluca is her husband's name." she told him enjoying the shock that was written on Max's face.
"What are you talking about? Liz is not married. Look Miss Harding, I've nothing against you, I'm sure that your heart is like you, in a really good shape. I'm sorry but I've an important meeting right now." Max said as he opened the door for her to live.
"Are you sure Max? Cause I don't feel that good. By the way, you don't like in a good shape yourself, you should rest a little, I don't know why but it seems to me that you're going to fall down. Are you ok?" she asked faking the concern
"Yes...Thank you. Tess I'm sorry, I've to go." he said and more or less pushed her out of his cabinet.
He closed the door and sat on the couch, devasted. That Tess was right, he was going to fall down with the shock he received. *That can't be true! Liz couldn't be married! She couldn't make a fool of me, that was too cruel...No, I'm certain that this girl was jealous of Liz because of the necklace and she wanted to make some trouble. I'm going home and Liz will sooth all my fears. I'm sure of that!* he thought and relieved, he called his secretary to cancel all his meetings.
When he arrived at home, he found Liz packing her things and panicked. "What are you doing Liz?" he asked huskily.
"Max!!! You scared me to death! What are you doing here? You're not working today!" she said a hand on her chest to calm her heart. *Why did he come back before I left his house?*
She had decided to leave him a note and escape silently. She didn't want to tell him. Unfortunately fate decided otherwise.
"I'm sure that you didn't expect me so soon. I met a friend of you, actually she came at the cabinet and she told me a very interesting story. But I don't know why, I bet that yours is thousand times better, huh?" he said with a calm he was far to feel.
"A friend of mine? What's her name?"
"Tess...Tess Harding. The weird thing is that she made a mistake with your name. She told me that your name was Deluca. Actually that was your husband's name. That's but a fairy tale, don't you agree with me?" Max asked.
He saw Liz turn pale and almost faint. *That was the truth! that girl didn't lie. That's Liz the liar in that case.* he thought desperately. He wanted her to tell him that Tess was a liar, a jealous that didn't stand her. But Liz kept silent and bent her eyes without a word.
Liz was devasted. That bitch went to talk to Max, she even didn't know very well Miss Harding, she just knew that she was Sean's assistante. Why? Why did she tell to Max? What was her interest in that story? Jealousy? for what? She couldn't understand. She glanced at Max and seeing him so hurt brought tears in her eyes. She should have told him before, maybe since the begining. He might hate her for the moment.
"M..Max...I'm....I'm sorry. I...I...I didn't mean to hurt you or to make a fool of you. I'm sorry." she said pitifully.
"You're sorry for what Liz? Lying to me? Make me fall in love with you? For what? Tell me Liz." he said angrily.
"You're right, I should have told you before. I should have....I should..." she said but unable to speak she bent her head and cry.
"So that's true. You're married. And you slept with me though....WHY? To go out of your so boring life? WHY Liz? I want to know, I've the right to know!!!!" he yelled at her.
"I'm sorry..."
"That's it!! You're sorry and I've to accept that excuse...So you're sorry, ok, what else?" he said grabbing her arms.
"Maax! You're hurting me!" she said trying to escape, but she stopped moving when he looked at her. There she saw the real hurt, the real pain....and she felt ashamed and guilty.
"What I am for you Liz? You don't care about my feelings! No, you use me and now you decide to leave me. You're a devil Liz! You make me fall in love with you...madly in love with you...and now...now you throw me like an old sock in that too big house." he said with tears flowing on his cheeks. "I was a stallion for you, only here to shower your craziest desires"
She looked at him. For a second, she was near to give in and stay, but she was determinded to take her life in her hands and to fully live it and she had to flee far from him, far from all the lies she lived with...She had a life waiting for her somewhere else.
She wanted to forget this life for a while, she was bored and locked in it and she chose to leave it for a while, to play a role. She decided to seduce a man and to be the player for once, after all that was always the men who were the players!
She straightened herself and looked at him "I'm sorry Max, I didn't mean to hurt you that way. I hope someday you'll forgive me. You deserve a good girl, I'm not the one for you. I'll never be. Just know that I'm sorry that it was you." she said and she walked out of the room, looking straight in front of her.
After she closed the door behind her, Max let go all his pain and collapsed on the couch, sobbing. She was gone...And the silent filled his house.
In the meantime, in the street, a petite brunette was starting her car but a ring stopped her "Hello?....Yeah, I left him....This affair is over, I'm coming home."

Whilst Max was on his couch crying like a damned, cursing himself to have fallen for the devil, Liz was arriving at her home. She hoped that Sean wouldn't be there, despite everything, she was not ready to face him and his unbearable smile.
She opened the door and looked around, a little sad to come back here but she had no choice. She had a deal with Sean and she wanted to respect it. Although people could think that she cheated on him, that was not the case. He had agreed with her to let her go, before that, he didn't take care of her wishes, she just wanted her husband to be with her, to go out with her not only working and making money...*You want someone like Max!* the little voice told her.
She pushed the thought away, she couldn't think about him. She wasn't happy to leave a man like Max, he was the only one who made her feel loved and wanted. She will ever regret it till the end of her life but she that's her life. She made the wrong choice when she married Sean, she believed that he was the one, but living 3 months with Max showed her how wrong she was.
Lost in her thoughts she didn't see Sean enter, for once he came early at home mostly because he wanted to see her and to talk to her.. "Liz? Are you ok?" he asked
"Oh Sean! I'm sorry, I was just thinking."
"About your lover? I hope that now that all this stupid affair is over, you'll come back to the reality. I let you live your dream but it's over, we both agree with that." he stated.
Liz couldn't help but stiffen when she heard Sean's words. Her affair with Max was not just an affair, he fell in love with her, he wanted to spend his life with her...and to tell the truth, if she was free from her marriage she would give in, she wouldn't have left him.

"LIZ!!! Do you still have it? I won't tolerate it!" he yelled at her.
"Ok, stop that Sean will you? I do not have the necklace!!! Do you think that I'm that stupid?" she replied hurt.
"What did he say when you gave it back?"
"He didn't say anything since he didn't know that I left it. Sean I don't want to talk about Max anymore, I left him, that was really hard. It's over now and I'll be grateful if you stop talking about him."
Liz wished that Sean would go back to his office soon, for once she didn't want him to stay at home to harass her about her relation with Max. Oddity of the situation was that she couldn't bear her husband and she was missing Max. She just hoped that, like usual, Sean would leave alone the rest of the day and even the night since he was married with his job....
Talking about his job, Liz remembered that Tess Harding went to see Max and told him the truth about her. "Sean, is Tess Harding always working for you?" she asked and she saw him tense.
Sean became worried, how Liz could ever know about Tess? He never mentionned her before, glad that Liz never questionned him about his staff. She couldn't know....."Yes...She is....Why do you ask?" he asked with an innocent look on his face.
"Well...I don't know, Max told me that she came at his office to talk about me, that's the way he found out about me before I..." she shut up not wanting to reveal that she expected to flee before Max came back home."Have you an idea why that girl went to gossip about me? I even don't talk to her, not even really know her." she asked
Sean groaned *Why did that stupid girl go to that man to tell him about Liz's marriage?* he has no clue, unless...*No...That can't be the reason! She couldn't think about ruin Liz's life for good! If that's the purpose, I'll make her shut up for good* Actually, Sean loved his wife deeply and didn't bother anyone to try to hurt her.
"Liz, I don't know why....Maybe she was jealous of you, after all, everyone saw the magnificent jewel Max Evans gave you and maybe she tried to ruin your affair to get him. I really don't know." he answered quietly.
"Is she in love with you?" Sean gasped *She couldn't know it! That's impossible, I never let anything leak out from this little affair with my assistant. Geez! that Tess girl is overcoming the limits, I'm going to stop her before she can do more damages in my life.*
"Liz! What are you talking about? Tess is my assistant and only that!" he said too fast. Liz looked at him, she was certain that he was lying and for the first time she saw her husband in a different way. She was always complaining for his lack of caring for her, she always said that he was married with his job instead of her and now, she's opening her eyes. He's not that faithful she thinks he is.
"Sean, tell me the truth : are you cheating on me with Tess?" she asked quietly, surprised that she didn't feel any pain when she questionned him.
"Come on Liz! I think that you lost your mind living with that man! Why are you suddenly interested in my love life? I've been more than fair to let you live your way for 3 months, is that your gratitude?" he was anxious that she could find out about his little affairs.
"You didn't agree for anything that you didn't want Sean! I was attracted by Max and you knew it, then you accepted to let me go with him, for his bad luck by the way!"
"Tell me Liz, did you fall in love with him or what? The way you talk about him let me guess you did. You have no right! You're mine!" he said angry and he grabbed her arms and pushed her, he was above her trying to undress her fiercely.
"Sean! STOP THAT! You're crasy! Leave me alone!" a panicked Liz yelled. She couldn't believe that her husband could molest her.
"You're MINE Liz! and I have every right to show it to you! I can make love with my wife and no one have a word to say!" he bellowed. Liz understood that she wouldn't be able to calm him, he was furious and if she didn't let him sooth, he was going to rape her.

Liz had nothing else to do than cry, cry on her stupidity. She believed that she was married with a complying man and she found out that she married a monster. She gave in. "You can do what you want with me. I don't care. I won't fight against you." she said.
Sean looked at her with disgust "You won't deprive me from my victory Liz. I want to fuck you and I'll do it, with or without you. Let me tell you that you're very smart to stop fighting me. You won't have the strength against me!" he laughed devilishly.

Then he stood up and adjusted himself, two minutes later he was gone. Slowly, Liz stood on her weak legs and wrapping her hands around her, she walked to her bathroom, there, she washed her body like if Sean had soiled it. For the moment, she was unable to think and she stayed under the water shocked, the tears flowing on her cheeks. All that she could think was that she was lost. She couldn't go back to Max, she hurt him so badly that he should hate her, and she had no one to turn...not even Maria. She was alone and she couldn't stop thinking that that was her punishment to have ruined Max's live.

She was alone and she couldn't stop thinking that that was her punishment to have ruined Max's live.
