when i wrote the comment, i had just read another fanfiction where Tess was evil. She does make a good bad guy.

yeah. it freaked me out the first time i heard it, too.

A year ago, it would have been Max or Liz but I absolutely hate what the writers did to them. Liz became a girl with no backbone, and Max became...well I dont know what happened to him. I still love them as a couple, and I love reading fic about them where things turned out differently.

Now I'd have to say its either Kyle or Michael. I feel bad that Kyle has such a negative rep, I think he's one of the few charachters to keep a good sense of humor all the way though.

My favorite eps are as follows:

Season 1:
All of them. This was the high point of the entire series. It was never as good as this again, sadly. The actors chemistry was perfect, the writing was amazing. And has anyone else noticed the amazing lighting? Every shot was done in this great "dreamy" yellowish light. Gorgeous. Even though I feel this way, highlights are -

-Sexual Healing
-Max to the Max
-White Room
-Destiny

Season 2:
Eeh. This is shaky territory. I absolutely hated the sci-fi direction they chose to take, it eliminated some of the best things about the show. I did like a couple of episodes though -

-Cry Your Name
-A Roswell Christmas Carol

Season 3:
Almost nothing. So sad
-Graduation was a decent wrap up to a show that had gone completely off course. Adding Liz's voiceovers back was nice, but done a little too late if you ask me.

Most of my favorite episodes are from Season 1 (shocker!), but I think I'll go out on a limb and list one from each season.

Season 1

Pilot - forevermore - it hooked me. "It was you" just about says it all.)

Season 2

It has to be End of the World, just because of Jason and Shiri and their chemistry. In terms of the show in general, it destroyed it, but I still love this one episode. My sister always said that if it had been resolved properly over the course of the season, it would have been the best episode of the entire series. I agree with this. The premise was amazing, but the lack of pay-off later on ruins it somewhat.

Season 3

Chant Down Babylon because after this episode, the show seemed to be headed back in the right direction. FINALLY.
