thank you roswellluver and i am a dreamer for your feedback.
here are the answers about your questions:
he only knows because akildaére had said that Khivar is searching for girl, who looks like her. In part 12 khivar will explain it more precise and you will see that she is the girl. The weapon is the bracelet but that will come later.
no the flashes came after her travelling to Antar.
The fire in her eyes only describes the state, which she was in, when he saw her. He is scared of what she could mean, a possible danger or maybe even an advantage. He doesn’t know yet. he has confusing feelings about her and the intensity of them bothers him.
The cliffhangers are there, because I hope you continue reading, if you want to know what will happen.
here comes the next part:

part 11:
Liz' eyes blinked, her hands grabbed the moss underneath her and dug into
the ground. She almost felt the knock and winced, when he pulled a little
branch out of her tousled hair. He said nothing, but he felt her concern.
His dark eyes starred at her interested and thoughtfully but also with a
trace of reluctance. Liz stood for complications and complications were
hardly good.
Suddenly he turned his head away, closed his eyes and lifted his head. It
seemed like he would sense something and Akildaére also seemed unsettled.
Both jumped up and Zan pulled Liz with him, who followed willingly because
even she could feel that something was changing. Flajonás fluttered alarmed
through the air and branches cracked.
"Come on, go. I'll try to give you a head start." Akildaére took his knife
again and turned away from Zan and Liz. His face looked determined.
He glanced at them one last time, before he disappeared in the bushes.
"Don't stay away too long, my friend. I don't want to go looking for you
again" Zan said before he also turned around and pushed Liz in front of him
to hurry. They ran through the forest and jumped over branches and stones,
which blocked the way. Hanging down branches lashed into their faces and
constrained the sight. Zan often had to prevent her from falling and he
noticed that the woman was shattered. He felt rested, his wounds disturbed
him only lightly.
They stopped once in a while to breathe and ran on zigzag. It didn't take
long, before they heard loud shouts and the hooves of carmás, which incited
Zan to double his powers.
"I can't go on. Leave me here." They paused in the cover of the trees. Liz
coughed and held her free hand to her chest. Her breathing was intermittent
and wheezing.
"I won't. Pull yourself together. We'll reach my carmá soon and then it will
be easier for you." He didn't give her time to think about what the hell a
carmá was, and pushed her forwards. They had reached the end of the forest
by now and she could see what he had meant. In the shadow of a big tree
stood one of the animals, which seemed to be similar to a horse, on which
she was pulled on, when she was kidnapped from the farm. This one browsed
peacefully. It was taller and thinner than the horses on earth and his skin
was black and glittering. If Liz had been in a good shape she would have
admired it, but now she just dropped on her knees.
"No way. Come on." Zan helped her to stand up. He noticed her awkward
attempt to get on the carmá and concluded that she never had sat on one. She
couldn't get up alone therefore he grabbed her waist and pulled her onto the
saddle, then he had to hold her ankles so that she wouldn't fall off of Akós
from the other side again. He didn't need to take care of Nalín. His alendíl
flew already in circles above them and made a warning and shrill sound.
Zan climbed behind Liz and turned Akòs in the opposite direction when an
arrow darted. It hit her directly in the shoulder and pushed her against
him. She moaned and held her shoulder, while Zan chased the attacker out. A
dozen of them followed Zan and Liz. But Zan's carmá was the fastest in the
country and they could lose them. Nevertheless he didn't reduce the speed.
The further away they were, the better it would be for her.
He chased through the territory for some time now and was glad about the
fact, that the woman fell unconscious because of her pain. Their ride was
fast and dangerous and he couldn't be considerate of her. But she seemed to
feel the pain despite of the unconsciousness because she moaned once in a
while. The arrow seemed to be deep in her shoulder.
He didn't limit the speed to a trot until Akós seemed to start to be
exhausted. They had left their chasers wide behind them, he was sure of it
and he had to find a shelter for them, where he could take care of her
wounds. But that was easier said than done, he would probably kill her,
while trying to help her. He hadn't any trust in his healing power, even if
some lost legend thought so. He didn't take it seriously.
Zan directed Akós to the river Gulán. He knew where he could find a hiding
place there. There were a few waterfalls, which hid several caves behind
them. He had been here a lot, when he was younger and was very familiar with
the surrounding area and the hideouts.
To avoid the risk of leaving traces he rode through the deeper part of the
water. He felt that Akós' muscles strained because of the doubled burden and
stemming against the river. He talked to his carmá calmly and comfortingly
and it stepped its way through the cold floods. It didn't take long until he
could see the first waterfall. Zan bound Liz's hands to the saddle so that
she couldn't fall off and dodge Akós along the waterfall. The loud roar
droned in their ears. Akós shied at first because of the power of the water
but Zan was relentless. They needed to get in there. Only Nalín could stay
outside.
The cold water crackled in a torrent on them and they were completely wet
after the first second. With a second step they entered the cave. The cold
water woke Liz up. She moaned and trembled. Her chin laid on her chest and
her eyes were half open.
They went deeper in the cave and left the roar behind them until it was
quiet. Before Zan pulled Liz down, he got his leather cape out of one of the
saddlebags and spread it on the floor. He unfastened her hand and Liz
slipped instantly from Akos' back in Zan's arms. She was too weak to hold
herself up. Despite of Zan's cautions his chest came in touch with her
shoulder and she whined.
"It's over soon, little one. Shhh.!" He laid her carefully on the cape and
took his knife. Liz was a little bit scared, he could see it in her eyes,
but his voice calmed her down. The knife cut the rough material so that a
part of her shoulder was free. Zan looked around. The darkness in the cave
bothered him. He couldn't examine her like this. He stood up and scanned his
bag. He pulled out a little clay bowl with a light blue limpid candle, as
Liz could see, while she breathed heavily. A moment later she corrected
herself. It wasn't a candle, because the wick was missing. He knelt down
with the cuboid beside Liz's shoulder, laid his hand on the cuboid and
concentrated. He seemed to lay all his energy on the stone or whatever it
was. Liz couldn't believe her own eyes, when a blue light appeared in the
cold dark cave. His gazed returned to her shoulder and under the bright
light he could see, what she would have to endure. The arrow was deep in her
shoulder and only stuck out a few inches. The wound was already necrotic and
he assumed that it was an arrow with toxin or at least had several soilings,
to ensure that the victim wouldn't survive. Furthermore, Zan knew that at
the tip would be a barb, which meant that he couldn't just pull the arrow
out. If he did that, the woman would have unbearable pain and wounds would
emerge, which he couldn't heal.
"How bad is it? Am I going to die?" Her voice sounded pathetic and whiny in
her ears, even when she tried not to.
Zan glanced at her and considered not to tell her his thoughts, but she
seemed stubborn and smart and he changed his opinion.
"It looks really bad. The arrow went deep in your shoulder and the wound is
already cankerous. But I will do everything I can to prevent you from
dying." He stood up abruptly and looked around. He found small branches,
which obviously were meant for a fire, but never have been used. He took a
few and went back to Liz.
"First I will have to break away the shaft and then I will push the rest
through your shoulder. You should bite on this." He gave her a branch and if
Liz had the possibility of getting paler, she would have.
"Why can't you just pull it out?" She trembled.
"Because at the tip is a barb. If I pull it out, I could seriously hurt you.
I will do it quickly." Zan waited until she had the branch in her mouth and
then took the shaft with both hands. Liz closed her eyes. She felt
completely weak. Her body was full of pain and she tensed of fear for more
pain. After a short fitfully crack with a wave of pain, she moaned and
opened her eyes again.
The first part was done. It wasn't the first time that Zan took care of
wounds like that but it was the first time his patient was a woman. He
expected that she would whine, clamour and cry, but she didn't do anything
of it.
Liz turned her head away. She knew that the hard part would follow. The
arrow had to go through her shoulder as complete as possible, because
chipping would definitively cause infections. She felt her heart tighten and
the tears appear in her eyes. Would she die there? Was this the end of her
life? He sat at her injured side and Liz clamped between his legs. He
scanned her shoulder carefully, where the arrow would come out. He found it
effortless and squeezed her hand briefly, which encouraged her and she leant
against him. Zan heard her snatch breathing and prayed that he wouldn't make
any mistakes. In his hand he held the stone with which he hit the arrow
through her shoulder then. He took it quickly on the other side and pulled
it out. Meanwhile Liz lost consciousness because of the pain and lay pale on
the ground.
