Part 11

~A month later~

Serena and Linda also lived with a guy named Scott who was 20 years old and reminded Liz of Alex. He had been training Liz in the best fighting techniques to use on Antar. Liz had to learn how to dodge arrows and she had also learnt how to fight with a sword.

Both Scott and Linda had figured that Liz was from another planet, they just didn't know that the planet was not one of the five in the V constellation.

As one of the only weapons found on Antar was the bow and arrow Liz now wore a guard, about 7 inches in length, on each of her forearms. They were made of a very strong Antarian wood; however Liz had enforced all of the protective garments they had with her powers. She had also been taught how to ride a horse, both with and without a saddle.

Scott and Linda were loyal to Rath and the bearer of the seal. They were the leaders of many others like themselves, rebel soldiers, who were anything but loyal to Khivar. Liz had been training with many of the rebels however none of them knew just how important she was

The sun had gone down a few hours ago but Liz was wide awake. She was fiddling with the wedding band future Michael had given her, which she now wore on her thumb. Liz had given up on trying to work out why the band had not disappeared along with future Michael. She was now wondering what he thought about her disappearance, and if maybe he had gotten back with Maria.

Liz continued her pondering when a few minutes later she heard Serena whimpering outside her tent

“Serena?’ Liz opened her tent and saw a scared Serena standing in front of her "Come in. Did you have another nightmare?"

"Yeah, But this one was worse than the others. It seemed really real" Serena said crawling under the covers beside Liz

"Tell me about it" Liz requested wrapping an arm around Serena in a motherly fashion

"There was a girl named Courtney. And you were there and you were telling people that she as a…a skin. She ran away but she came back a few days later in a new husk called Sara.” Serena explained struggling to remember any important details “She became friends with Michael… and then she killed him and then you and some other people that I don't know" Serena explained fearfully

"Serena, has anything you've dreamed come true before?" Liz asked hoping she would say no

"Yes. I had a nightmare that Khivar was going to kill my parents... And then he did" Serena said somberly "There have been a few other things as well but never anything that important

"Serena I think you might be a seer. I think you get visions of the future" Liz pointed out

"No I don't want to be. That means that the skin is going to kill Michael. I haven't met him yet" Serena pointed out "You promised, please don't let him die" Serena had tears forming in her eyes

"Maybe you get these visions for a reason, maybe I can change what is going to happen" Liz thought for a moment.

Liz knew that she would be fine leaving Linda and Scott but what concerned her was how Serena would take her leaving. Although soon Serena answered that thought for her

"Ella we have to go to Earth and save him. Please" Serena pleaded and scratched her right eyebrow. Liz watched Serena, doing a habit she had seen Michael do so many times before and knew there was no other way.

They left a note for Linda and Scott and headed for the Granolith. Once inside Liz turned to Serena

"Now, remember, when you first see Michael you can't just run up and say 'hey I'm your sister' okay? First we get rid of Sara and then we'll find the right time and tell him okay?" She said sternly

"Alright, alright" Serena said rolling her eyes

Liz picked up a rock of the ground and closed her eyes. When she opened them she was holding another set of army tags. “Here I think you deserve some of these”

Liz took one of the tags around her own neck and altered it so that it had the Metallica logo on it "There are shape shifters there as well. If you're ever in doubt this is how we'll know each other" she said slipping the tags under her shirt.

Serena did the same with her set but looked down at them first. One tag had the name Lars Ulrich on it and the other had the same Metallica logo as on Liz’s.

"Why Lars?" Serena asked scrunching up her face

"Cause he is the little one" Liz joked

"Hey! Well what’s on yours then?" Serena asked

“I have the logo. But I am not changing the other one. It belonged to your brother on a different timeline" Liz said showing Serena.

"Lets go" Liz waved her hand and soon her Serena were stepping out of the cone into the pod chamber in the middle of the Roswellian desert.

"Sorry but it’s going to be a bit of a walk into town" Liz said as they headed in they direction of the highway

"I don't mind. But is all of Roswell this dusty?" Serena asked

Liz chuckled "No this is the desert. All of Roswell is this hot though" Liz said turning her pants into a short skirt to match her brown leather halter top

They reached the highway and were not walking for long before sheriff Valenti pulled up beside them

"Liz, I thought you were in Sweden" He pointed out

"Uh I was, Mr. Valenti. But I am back now. This is Serena, she is like a sister"

“Well jump in you two I'll give you a ride back into town."

"Thank you" Liz said climbing in the truck first followed by Serena

"Things have been weird with the Czechoslovakians" Jim began chuckling at their pet name for the aliens "Kyle and Tess have been keeping me up to date. Though I think you'll have to hear it from them. I couldn't tell the story if I tried."

"I don’t know about everyone but most of them are busy doing their own thing. Michael finally agreed to go on a date with this new girl named Sara" He pointed out as he pulled up in front of the crash down

"Thanks Mr. Valenti we'll see you later" Liz said in a hurry

She saw that her parents were not home and she ran inside to the phone with Serena close behind her

"Ella what are you going to do" Serena asked sounding scared

Liz was punching in a phone number

"Hello?" Tess answered the phone

"Where's Michael?"

"Liz? You're back-"

"Where's Michael!" Liz yelled

"He and Sara are having a movie night at his apart-" Liz hung up before Tess could even finish the sentence

"Come on. Your first trip in a car, much faster than a horse" Liz said as she and Serena hurried out of the restaurant.

Liz's car was nearby and she got in with Serena in the passengers side

"Put your seatbelt on"

"Okay"

Liz began speeding towards Michael’s apartment as fast as the truck would travel “Now driving this fast is illegal so when you eventually get your permit, don’t drive like I do”

“Okay” Serena chuckled

They arrived at the building within ten minutes and they hurried up to his door "You stay behind me" Liz whispered leaving no room for arguments as she used her powers to silently unlock his front door.

They crept inside and could only hear a movie playing in the background.

"We fear change" Liz recognized the movie as Wayne’s World and smirked at the sound of Garth hitting a robotic arm with a hammer.

Walking into the living Liz struggled to contain her jealousy at the sight of a sleeping Michael with Sara asleep on his shoulder.

Liz used her powers to turn the TV off and the overhead lights on.

When they didn’t wake up Liz blasted the coffee table into a million pieces

"What the fuck!" Michael hollered as he jolted awake.

"Liz?" He whispered shocked to see the brunette with her hands on her hips

Liz turned to Sara "Hi, you must be Sara, I know so much about you" Liz sounded overly cheery

"Yeah, I don't know you though. No one has said anything about you" Sara said trying to piss Liz off “I thought you were in Sweden. So, who has been telling you about me, good things I hope”

"That’s none of your concern Courtney you won't be alive much longer. So pissing me off will only make your death more painful"

"Liz, Courtney disappeared we haven't seen her since you left" Michael said obviously still hurt that Liz had not left an explanation as to why she left

"Yeah" Sara said getting closer to Michael

Serena chose that moment to ask Liz a question. Liz’s skirt had a tattered affect to it and Serena pulled on it slightly as she asked "Ella, are all the skins that ugly?" Serena said causing Liz to laugh

“Who the hell do you think you are? You little brat” Sara

"You take that tone with her one more time and by the time I am finished with you, you’ll be trying to push your own button" Liz said coolly

"Nicholas said he killed you" she spat getting up and heading towards Liz

Sorry it took so long for me to post guys but i have been really really busy lately! Thanks Heaps for the feedback it really means alot to me. As for the possible date thing with michael and sara it was god maybe if we do this she'll shutup kinda thing.

Part 12

"Nicholas said he killed you" she spat getting up and heading towards Liz

Liz smirked and readied herself for the attack. Sara lunged at Liz and grabbed her around the throat and pinned her against the wall.

“Liz!” Michael screamed

Liz however even given she was struggling to breath turned to Serena and winked.

Serena snuck around to Michael and held him back

“What are you doing pipsqueak? She can’t breath!” Michael said frantically

“She’s just getting angry” Serena said with a smirk

“What?” Michael asked confused as she turned back to Liz who had her arms pointing out away from her body.

Keeping them straight she moved them upwards until they were above her head before bringing her arms down quickly and hitting Sara's arms so they bent. Liz acted immediately and punched her in the face knocking her backwards.

“Damn that’s a rush” Liz said with a wicked smile on her face

“How did you do that?” Sara demanded

“Long story short, I’m your worst night mare” Liz said before swiping her left hand out and grabbing Sara around the neck

Liz and Sara were about the same height so as Liz stuck out her arm she lifted Sara off the ground. “You are a skin” Liz said punching her in the face with her right hand “You made a move on Michael” She hissed punching her this time in the stomach “And then you bad mouthed my make shift little sister here. All in all I’m gonna sentence you to… death” She said before blasting Sara into a wall.

Liz turned to make sure Serena was still out of the way but before she could say anything she felt a sharp stabbing pain in her shoulder.

“You honestly think I would have died that easily?” Sara demanded as she spun Liz around by hitting the table leg embedded in her shoulder.

Liz wailed in pain as she reached around and pulled out the piece of wood. However as she did this, Sara punched her twice in the face causing Liz to fall to the ground.

“You honestly think I would return as weak as I was before?!”

Liz’s head began to spin; she looked up at Sara in time to see Serena hit her in the back of the head with a chair.

Sara exploded sending dust and bits of skin everywhere. Liz passed out.

Liz awoke suddenly with a gasp and took in her surroundings. She had a horrible night mare where Serena was calling out for help. There was something inside telling her that Serena was in danger

“Hey, you’re awake” Michael said quietly

“Hey, um where is Serena?” Liz asked trying to stay calm

“She is over at Isabel’s having some girl time” Michael said

“Shit” Liz mumbled getting up in a hurry

“Whoah, where are you going?” Michael asked stopping her

“She is in trouble now either you can drive me or I’ll run but I have to get to her now” Liz stated heading out of Michael’s bedroom

“I’ll drive you” he hollered grabbing his keys as they ran out of the apartment.

“Hurry up then!” Liz yelled as she climbed into the passenger seat of Michaels new ute.

“What makes you think she is in trouble?” Michael asked

“I had a vision. Well she sent me a vision, which hasn’t happened before but from what she said about her visions I just know she’s in trouble” Liz explained

“Visions?”

“Serena is a seer”

“So she is an Alien?” Michael asked

“Michael, I have been on Antar for the past month. Within an hour I saved Serena from Nicholas and his guards. I ended up staying with her and when I had to come back here I brought her with me so I could keep her safe, which I seem to be sucking at lately” Liz muttered

“You went to our home planet and didn’t bother to say anything?!” Michael sounded angry

“Yes. You have to understand Michael you wouldn’t let me say anything” Liz flinched at her slip up

“What do you mean I wouldn’t let you say anything?”

Liz hesitated “You came back from the future. You had just watched me and your sister die, so I went to Antar in the hopes of changing the future.”

“I have a sister?” Michael went quiet for a moment “Did you end up save… Um why did you come back?”

“Serena got a vision of Sara killing you. We’ll talk later I have to get to Serena” Liz said as he pulled up in front of The Evans household.

“Wait What?” Michael asked but Liz had already jumped out of the car before it had fully stopped and run up to the door

“Liz I am sure she is alright calm down okay”

“Fuck being calm, Serena is in trouble” Liz said as she lifted her boot and kicked open the door

“Liz! What the hell do you think you are doing?” Isabel screeched

“Where is she?” Liz demanded

A wicked grin crossed Isabel’s face “Wheres who?”

Raising her arm Liz used her powers to blast Isabel into a wall and keep her there “Tell me where she is or I won’t hesitate to kill you”

“Upstairs” Isabel hissed

Liz put her to sleep before running up stairs “Serena?” She called frantically

She heard a muffled scream and then a thud and ran into Max’s room. As she entered she saw Serena tied to a chair that had fallen over and Max standing towering over her

“Liz? Your back” Max stated shocked

“Say goodbye Max” Liz said before blasting him out the window. Glancing out the window she saw his limp body lying on the ground below.

“Shit what happened?” Michael asked as entered the room

“Max happened. Hey Serena you okay?” Liz said untying her

“Liz?”

“Yeah it’s me Lars” Liz chuckled causing Serena to wrap her arms around her neck

“Sshh it’s okay, I won’t let anyone hurt you again” Liz said hugging her

“He wanted to know about the granolith but I wouldn’t tell him. I stayed quiet and I wouldn’t let anyone see me cry. Just like you Ella”

“You did good buddy. Holy Shit! Did he hit you?” Liz asked, Serena nodded

“Alright remember when you were hit with the arrow relax okay” Liz said looking into her eyes. Raising her hand over Serena’s face she healed the bruise over her right eye and her split lip. “Did he get you anywhere else?”

“No I just want to get out of here” Serena mumbled

“Okay let’s go, we’ll go back to Michael’s and get you something to eat” Liz said sending a questioning look at Michael, who nodded.

They headed back downstairs Liz carrying Serena in a hug. Liz, with a flick of her wrist, unpinned Isabel from the wall.

On the way back to Michael’s, Liz sat in the back with her arms around Serena.

“So Serena, why does Liz call you Lars?” Michael asked, trying to make conversation

“Because he is the little guy” Serena said with a huge grin on her face

“I kinda introduced her to Metallica” Liz said with a chuckle

“I’m impressed” Michael said with a nod of his head. Upon hearing this Serena’s grin got even wider

“I want you rest when we get back to Michael’s okay?” Liz said sounding motherly

“But…”

“No buts”

“Fine” Serena huffed before yawning moments later causing Liz to chuckle.

Liz tucked Serena into Michael’s bed and sat down next to her for a moment “Now I sealed the window so nothing, not even anything alien will be able to get to you”

“I don’t think we should tell him” Serena spat out

“What? Why what do you mean? Back on Antar you couldn’t wait to see your brother”

“I know but what if he doesn’t like me”

“Oh cut that out right here right now. I promise if he doesn’t like you I will turn his hair pink”

Serena chuckled

“Now get some sleep you’ll get to meet everyone else tomorrow”

“Night Liz”

Liz made her way back downstairs and saw Michael sitting on the couch with his elbows leaning on his knees, resting his head in his hands

“You okay?

“I just… it’s a lot to get my head around”

“Yeah, I know” Liz said sitting down next to him

“So what's Antar like?”

“Look Michael…I’m sorry I didn’t say good bye or anything” Liz apologized quietly

“Why should you be its not like we were together or anything” Michael replied coldly, getting up and heading into the kitchen

Liz followed him “Don’t be like that”

“I’m not being like anything. We weren’t together, you had to go back to my home planet there was no reason for you to say anything” He said leaning on the counter finding the sight of the floor suddenly interesting.

“Michael, I would have liked to say goodbye but if I told you the reasoning why I left, which you would have asked me, you would have wanted to come with me”

“What makes you think I would have wanted to go with you?”

“Because, the you from the future had just watched me and your sister be viciously killed by Khivar. I went to Antar to try and change that”

“I wouldn’t have wanted to go with you I would have stopped you! What the hell did you think you were doing going closer to Khivar and in the granolith?”

Liz removed future Michael’s wedding band from her thumb. “He gave this to me before I got into the granolith” She reached out and very shakily placed it in Michaels palm

Michael looked at the ring for a moment before noticing the inscription. “We were…”

“There is something else. She wanted me to wait in telling you this but Serena is your sister”

“What?”

“Think about it. Same colored hair, same eyes. Same attitude towards authority” Liz chuckled before turning Michael’s hair pink with her powers

Michael thought about it for a moment and reached up to scratch his eyebrow

“She does that to”

“So all this time you have been protecting my sister?” Michael asked

“Well trying. Didn’t exactly do a good job today” Liz said quietly, mentally kicking herself

“Hey” Michael whispered pulling Liz close. She rested her head against his chest and beginning to cry “Liz you have saved my life, my sisters life and god knows how many others, all without a second though for yourself. You’re entitled to slip up once in a while. Now stop crying, I hate it when you cry” Michael said before brushing her hair out of her face

“Thank you”

“I missed you, ya know” Michael said. Liz stood on the tips of her toes and kissed Michael. The kiss was needy at first but they soon relaxed and the kiss slowly became more intense. They pulled apart for air and Michael rested his head against Liz’s.

“I didn’t think I would get to do that again” Michael whispered

“Michael…I-”

Liz was cut off when they heard a terrified scream coming from the bedroom

Part 13

“Ella!” Serena screamed

“Hey what happened??” Liz said as she tightly hugged Serena.

“I had another vision. Michael was in it but he tried to hurt a girl then he tried to hurt you” Serena explained, wiping her eyes

“What?” Michael questioned taking a step closer

Serena whimpered and fidgeted so Michael stopped where he was, looking hurt that his own sister was scared of him

“Serena, I want you to think about what you saw okay” Liz said as she placed her finger tips on Serena’s temples. After a few moments she pulled away

“Sshh. It’s okay, When they recreated your brother and the rest of the royal 4, they did it twice. That was Rath not Michael” Liz explained but Serena still looked a little uneasy

“Come on, look at that hair, do you really think he would even be able to hurt me?”

Serena looked up at Michael and burst into a fit of giggles when she saw what Liz had done.

“Hey it ain’t that funny” Michael whined, going to look in the mirror

“OI!” He yelled “Change it back”

Liz waved her hand but instead of changing it back she simply changed to a light shade of purple.

“You try and get a bit more rest” Liz said to Serena

Michael watched as Serena’s hand shot out and grabbed Liz’s arm “Can you stay?” She begged

“Yeah sure” Liz said taking off her shoes and climbing into the bed beside her

“I’ll see you two in the morning” Michael said turning to leave

Liz cleared her throat “It’s a king size bed we’ll all fit in, Newsted” Liz added

“And why do I have to be Newsted?” Michael asked as he cautiously made his way to climb in the bed beside Liz

“He isn’t in the band any more so he is the stupid one” Serena giggled

“Michael isn’t stupid” Liz started seriously “He is just challenged, when it comes to thinking”

“I heard that”

Liz smiled as he wrapped his arm around her waist. “Goodnight Liz, goodnight Michael” Serena said during a yawn

“Night sis” Michael said reaching out so his arms went around both Liz and Serena.

“Ella you have a big mouth” Serena muttered before all three of them got some sleep.

The three of them awoke the next morning to the sound of someone knocking at the door.

“Grrr, I’ll get it” Michael growled as he got up and headed downstairs.

Liz sat up and gently shook Serena’s shoulder “Come on sleepy head time to get up”

“uh uhh” Serena gurgled

Liz chuckled “Come on there will probably be people for you meet. And then we’ll go back to my parents restaurant and get some ice cream” Liz said and Serena started to get up.

They headed downstairs where Kyle, Tess, Lonnie and Alex were sitting with Michael in the lounge room.

“Liz thank god you’re okay” Tess said giving her a quick hug “I mean Jesus you go to Antar for a month and return with out saying simply demanding where Michael was. You scared the shit out of me!” Tess said punching her in the arm

Everyone then glanced around Liz to the chuckling eleven year old. “Uh watch your language Tess. Guys this is Serena. Serena this is Kyle, Alex, Lonnie and Tess. Lonnie and Tess were the princesses Vilandra and Ava so they have doubles, their doubles can’t be trusted either” Liz explained and Serena nodded

“Liz, in the words of twenty eight days what’s the deal?” Lonnie asked gesturing towards Serena

“She is from Antar, I stayed with her while I was there. Serena gets visions, that’s how we new that Sara was Courtney in a different husk, and why I was demanding where Michael was” Liz added

“Visions? What’s that like?” Alex asked Serena

“They are usually bad, and I usually only get them when I am sleeping” Serena pointed out

“You must be pretty important kiddo, only important Antarians get powers” Tess pointed out

“Serena is my little sister” Michael pointed out messing up Serena’s hair

Serena made a face before looking around and picking up yesterday’s newspaper.

“Michael…With a newspaper?” Liz chuckled

“I uh didn’t know where you were… I was making sure you didn’t turn up in the obituaries” He stated

“Sorry bout that” Liz said honestly kissing his temple

“Okay, but can I just ask how you knew where Liz was?” Michael asked Tess

“Tess and I were there when you came back from the future” Lonnie explained

“So have I missed anything important while I was away?” Liz asked

“Um I am worried about Ria” Alex pointed out “Now I know she pissed you off that day she left with Max but I have never seen her so depressed looking” he explained

“What do you mean?” Liz asked

“They have all been living in the house Nasedo bought before he died. I think they might be mistreating her” Alex pointed out

“Hey! Ella, can we go to this its today?” Serena pleaded hopefully holding up an add in the newspaper

“The annual Roswell renaissance fair” Liz read aloud and groaned “And then I can enter the archery competition and beat the sheriff of Nottingham” she said sarcastically

“Come on Liz it would be fun you would win. Michael make her go” Serena turned to Michael.

“Serena I have spent the last month doing all that stuff in a war, and now you want me to go to a fair and do it for fun?”

“Please?” Serena whined holding Liz’s hand

“Oh alright” Liz caved, they wouldn’t be on earth for much longer anyway.

“You all gotta come too” Serena said turning to everyone else in the room.

Everyone reluctantly agreed and they began to get ready. They were waiting in the lounge room and Liz was doing Serena’s hair when Serena froze and eyes began to glow.

“Serena?” Liz asked

“What's happening?” Michael asked

“Is she okay?” Tess asked from behind them

A few moments later Serena’s eyes returned to normal and she hugged Liz “Hey what happened there?”

“It was a vision. A girl got hanged” Serena stated

“What girl, babe what did she look like?” Liz asked “And where was she?”

“They were at the fair thingy, there were lots of horses around. She had green eyes and a big butt” Serena pointed out

“Maria” Everyone in the room said

“Right well let’s go” Liz said and everyone left and headed straight for the fair. Hopefully they would not be too late.

Part 14

“Liz do you even know how to ride a horse?” Kyle asked skeptically. They were now at the fair near the horse riding arena and Liz was putting a saddle on one of the horses.

“Kyle, and everyone else while I am at it.” Liz started talking to Tess Lonnie and Alex as well “Like Tess pointed out only important Antarians have powers. Therefore Khivar has kept any chance of civilization out of the question. Antar is like one big Robin Hood movie. Coupled with the fact there is a war on I didn’t have a choice but to know how to ride a horse. Serena and I became quite the team”

“Ella look what I got” Serena stated when she returned with Michael

Liz chuckled “A bow and arrow, thanks buddy” Liz sighed

At that point Serena’s eyes flashed white again but only for a brief period “Ella they are doing it now”

“What?” Liz looked around and in the distance saw, who she presumed to be Rath tying a noose around who she presumed to be Maria’s neck. “Shit the crowd must think it’s a show. Serena I am gonna need your help” Liz said strapping the arrows to her back

“Liz?” Michael questioned not letting go of Serena’s hand

“Michael I promise nothing will happen to her” Liz stated before he reluctantly let her go.

Liz helped her onto the saddle before climbing up behind her “Ready?”

“Go!” Serena yelled and Liz hit the horse on the backside causing it buck and then run in the direction of the stand.

As they got closer Liz readied an arrow in the bow and aimed in the direction of Maria. “Keep her steady” Liz ordered

Rath pulled the leaver and the board holding Maria dropped out from under her feet. Liz released her arrow and thankfully it hit the rope and Maria fell through the hole with a thud. Serena halted the horse and Liz jumped off to face Rath.

“Charades? Let me guess, the Ukrainian entry into Eurovision?” Rath mocked

“Leave now and maybe I won’t kill you” Liz threatened

“I got orders to kill er ‘Ella’ and that’s what I am going to do.” Rath said walking in the direction of the hole

Liz jumped and scissor kicked him in the head before bending over and knocking him out with her powers. After that the crowd cheered and began to disperse presuming the ‘show’ was over.

Liz jumped down through the gallows and began untying Maria.

“Liz! Omigod I am so sorry, I never should have walked out on you. Max he was”

“Maria shut up, We have to get you out of here”

“Liz you okay?” Kyle asked as he approached

“I’m fine can you help Maria?”

“Yeah sure” Kyle replied bending down to pick up Maria.

Liz walked out to see Serena running up to Michael “Hey did you see me I was driving” Serena said giving Michael a big hug

Michael laughed “Yeah you’re a good horse driver”

Everyone headed back to the crash down and up to Liz’s apartment.

Liz and Maria headed into separate bathrooms to have a shower while Michael got everyone something to eat downstairs. After getting dressed Liz went into the spare bedroom where Maria was sitting on the bed with her legs hugged to her chest.

“Hey” Liz said

“I am so sorry Liz. I shouldn’t have left with Max that day I felt really bad and then-”

“Will you stop god damn apologizing already. We were worried about you and Alex and Lonnie tell me that they might have been mistreating you. So uh the big question did it get sexual and secondly if you’re bruised anywhere let me know and I’ll heal it”

“No! It did not get sexual. But it might have” Maria’s voice became faint as she lifted up her shirt to reveal a very bruised torso.

“Holy shit!” Liz said before holding out her hands and healing all of Maria’s wounds

“Since when can you do that?” Maria asked quietly

Liz then told Maria about the seal, her powers, her summer and her trip to Antar.

“Whoah” Maria breathed when Liz finished

“Come on, I am starving” Liz said as they headed downstairs.

“Maria, the girl kicking Michael’s ass on Mario Kart is Serena. Serena this is Maria”

“Hello Ma-AHH HAHAHAHA!” Serena laughed loudly

“She isn’t kicking my ass, Parker, she is only just beating me, it’s those stupid penguins that keep getting in my way” Michael explained before driving straight into another penguin

“That’s right Michael the penguins set out in the hopes of becoming road kill. You do know they don’t even have televisions let alone Nintendo’s on Antar, and Serena isn’t hitting any penguins” Liz pointed out

“Shut up” Michael replied

“Woo hoo” Serena yelled before sticking out her tongue at Michael. He began to tickle her and she burst out into a fit of giggles.

“They get on well together” Maria observed

“Serena is his little sister” Liz pointed out

“Wow” Maria said

About half an hour later Kyle and Tess returned. After awhile Serena turned to Liz “Ella what do we do now?”

“Now? I give Alex and Maria powers and then… All of us are going to Antar”

Okay First off sorry I haven’t posted in a while have had heaps of work and last Tuesday night I was at a 28 days concert, front row centre in the mosh, and came home with a huge bruise on my left hand, But I shook Jay Dunne, and Simon Hepburns hand, Yay me . Anyway I am brain farting on what to write for Twisted Sister so that probably won’t get updated for a while. But, that doesn’t mean I have been lazy writing wise, I started a Slash fic (Max/Kyle will prob change to Michael/Kyle) which I have written about ten parts to. Also an alias crossover that I have written about ten parts to. I also started a X-men crossover. So I will work on those so you have more to read. In the mean time here is Part 15

Part 15

“Yay!” Serena yelled

“Wait, Liz what do you mean now we all go to Antar?” Kyle asked

“There is a war happening, with any of us here there is a chance that the last battle of this war will be held on earth. Alex and Maria are the only ones who haven’t physically been affected by alien powers. However they have been linked to us. If any of us remain on earth they’ll be risking many innocent lives, not to mention their own”

“Well I’m in” Lonnie stated

“Us too” Tess said as Kyle squeezed her hand in support

All eyes were on Michael as they waited to see what he would say “What? Oh count me in just don’t expect me to get on a horse”

Everyone laughed at Michael’s statement. Well everyone except Alex and Maria

“Uh, Liz couldn’t help but notice you want to give us powers?” Alex pointed out

“Yes, I want you guys to be able to protect yourselves” Liz stated

“What about Kyle?” Maria asked

“He has powers he just hasn’t told anyone yet” Liz pointed out

“What?” Alex and Michael said at the same time

“That’s not true!” Kyle stated

“Bloody lucky too, I was ready to thump ya for not telling us” Alex half joked

“I knew” Tess said rolling her eyes at Alex’s attempt to be scary, then laughing when he did indeed punch Kyle in the arm.

"So Liz will it take long for you to give them powers?" Tess asked

"No I've already done it I just need to unlock their minds" Liz stated

"Wait a minute you already messed with my head?" Maria questioned

"I didn't 'mess with your head', Ria. I did it last night while Alex was sleeping and you when I was explaining what had happened. That way your body could adjust, while you were thinking about something else. I kept your mind blocked in case you didn't want powers" Liz explained

Maria thought about it for a moment before "Okay well unlock me then"

Liz smiled and touched Maria's temples with the tips of her finger tips "There"

"Whoah" Maria said as her eyes sort of glazed over and she stared of into the distance. After a moment she shook her head and smiled before putting up a very small shield

"Well it doesn't look like it hurt so in Ria's words 'unlock me'" Alex chuckled before experiencing the same glazed look. Once he put up an example shield Liz spoke up

"Right well I suggest that you all get something to eat before we leave"

"Wait we're leaving now?" Michael asked

"Max and Zan were in league with Khivar. Max is now dead, we can't stay here. Besides Tom and Linda will be expecting us"

"They know were coming back?" Serena squealed excitedly

"Of course they do" Liz smirked "They are also spreading word to the troops that we will be attacking soon"

"And Linda and Michael can meet. I can say told ya so cause she wouldn't believe me that you were alive"

"Who's Linda?" Michael asked "And why does it matter that I meet her?"

"Michael, although your parents were killed by Khivar, Serena isn't the only living family you have. Linda is your aunty"

"My aunty?" Michael whispered to himself.

“Well if no one has any more questions I say we get going” Liz said and everyone headed towards the van.

Tess drove them out to the granolith being the only other person besides Liz who actually new where it was.

“Here” Liz said handing a cloak each to Lonnie and Michael.

“What's this for?” Lonnie said

“No one but Serena knew of your existence, some of them might presume you are working with Khivar and attack you on sight” Liz stated “And I don’t know about you but I would say that’s a bad thing”

“Good point” Lonnie mumbled putting on the cloak as did Michael.

Tess pulled over beside the rock which was the granolith and everyone climbed out. Liz handed Tess a cloak and she put it on as they headed up to the granolith.

“Michael, are you okay?” Liz asked as they stopped and the others continued up the cliff face

Michael sighed and looked up to look Liz in the eyes “So much has happened this past few days” He began “I mean I discovered a sister I never knew I had, you came back from my home planet. The two closest friends I thought I had turned out to be evil, and now we are all going back to my home planet to stop a war and meet my aunty” he paused before continuing at a whisper “I just wonder where this leaves us”

“Michael, I love you, and nothing is going to change that” Liz said honestly

“I love you to Liz” Michael said as he leaned forward and kissed Liz as he wrapped his arms around her waist

A moment later Liz regretfully pulled away “What's that noise?” Turning around Liz saw a pair of headlights heading towards them

“Liz come on, we have to go, now” Michael stated taking her hand as they ran the rest of the way to catch up with the others

“Liz what's wrong?” Tess asked as they reached the door

“Someone’s coming” Liz waved her hand over the door and everyone stepped inside “You three put yours hoods on” Liz requested as she raised her hand causing the granolith to appear.

Once Tess Michael and Lonnie’s faces were concealed Liz concentrated on transporting all of them into the granolith. She felt the weirdness in the pit of her stomach and laughed as the others gasped.

Everyone watched in amazement as the V constellation appeared. Liz touched Antar and soon everyone was standing in a different cave.

“Whoah that was weird” Maria commented as Liz waved her hand causing the granolith to disappear

Upon exiting the cave they found five horses, one with a bow, quiver and a note attached.

Liz read the note out loud “Sorry I couldn’t meet you in person, hope the horses provide some assistance, Linda”

Michael groaned, he really didn’t want to get on a horse. Liz attached the quiver to her back. “Right, Maria Alex I know you guys can ride a horse, and we know Michael can’t so what about everyone else?”

“I can ride a horse” Tess said

“Okay, Kyle you ride with Tess, Lonnie ride with Alex, Michael ride with Serena, okay?”

Everyone nodded and got on a different horse, as they were doing so Liz heard at least another horse approaching them “Shit, Serena you lead everyone back to camp I’ll meet you there”

“Liz, what are you doing?” Michael asked

“It’s Nicholas, just go I’ll meet you there I promise” Liz said leaning in to kiss him before helping him get on the horse.

She slapped Michael and Serena’s horse on the leg and it took off, the others following. Liz leapt onto her horse and galloped off in the direction of the noise. Thankfully it wasn’t Nicholas but a younger man looking very lost.

Liz readied an arrow and pointed it at him “Give me one reason why I shouldn’t kill you right now?”

The young man immediately raised his hands in surrender “Please don’t shoot, my name is Syrah. I seek to speak with Linda Roileth”

“What business do you have with her” Liz demanded

“I have just escaped from the royal prison, I bring word of Areth. He is alive merely being held captive”

“How do I know you speak the truth?”

“You don’t. But Areth receives visions as does his daughter Serena. I was told that a great warrior going by the name of Ella now has the seal. Presuming that is you, you can access my memories and determine the difference between fact and fiction. I also know that if I try anything you have the power to kill me so I shall not try anything” Syrah explained

Liz was unsure but walked over to him none the less. Placing a palm on his forehead she concentrated and indeed what he had said was true, Areth was still alive.

“You speak the truth, however I would like this fact kept a secret for now. Areth is weak, and if Khivar hears of us plotting to free him, Areth will be killed.”

“Very well your highness” Syrah said bowing his head

“Call me Ella, please”

Syrah nodded before his hands flew to his head and he passed out. Liz used her powers to heal him, but found there was nothing to heal. He had been so determined to deliver the message for the former Major General that he had not rested. Liz lifted him to the front of her horse before climbing up herself and galloping towards camp.

Liz rode into camp and was greeted by Linda. “Ella thank goodness you are alright” She said engulfing Liz in a hug

“I’m fine. Would you give me a hand, his name is Syrah he escaped from the royal prison he has important news but we’ll go into that later. He needs some rest”

“Of course” Linda said and helped Syrah into a tent where he could sleep.

“The ones who returned with Serena are around the campfire with Tom. He is feeding them; we decided to wait on the explanations until you returned”

“Thank you” Liz said as the two of them headed to the fire

“Ella!” Serena said before running over and wrapping her arms around Liz’s legs

“I’m okay. It wasn’t Nicholas it was someone who brought news from the royal prison but we’ll talk about that later”

Everyone sat down including Linda and Tom. Michael, Tess and Lonnie still had their faces hidden.

“Everyone this is Linda and Tom. This is Kyle Maria and Alex” Liz began

“And the others?” Tom asked

“That needs an explanation first. I am not from this planet, you know that but my home planet is not in the V constellation, it’s a planet far away called Earth. That is where we are all from” Liz said gesturing to everyone

“You have heard Serena mention that the royal four was recreated but you never believed her. She spoke the truth. Max, or as you know him Zan, was in love with me and I got shot one day and he wanted to heal me so bad that he transferred the royal seal to me” Liz said projecting the seal for Linda and Tom to see to prove her point.

“Wait a minute I had a belching contest, with the future queen of Antar?” Tom asked

“Yes” Liz chuckled blushing “Anyway there were two sets recreated. And many of them could not be trusted as they were in league with Khivar and his men” At this Linda gasped

“But, three of them I would trust with my life, Lonnie, Tess and Michael. Or as you know them Vilandra, Ava and Rath”

“You mean my nephew really is alive?” Linda whispered

Liz smiled and waved her hand causing the cloaks to disappear, Tom gasped and Linda remained silent for a moment before launching herself at Michael and wrapping her arms around him.

“Oh you look just like your father” She whispered to him “But you have your mother’s eyes”

Michael could only manage a weak smile as he awkwardly patted his aunty on the back.

“One other thing Syrah, escaped from the royal prison, I searched his mind, I believe him to be trust worthy and telling the truth”

“The truth about what?” Tom questioned

“It seems that Areth though weak, seems to be alive”

“Who’s Areth?” Michael asked when Serena answered for him

“Daddy?” she mumbled “But Ella I saw Khivar kill them. I was hiding nearby I saw the whole thing” Serena began to sob against Liz’s shoulder.

“I know Serena. But there is always the possibility that it was a mind warp” Liz said wrapping her arms around the sobbing girl. “Either way we’ll be attacking in the next few days when will the troops be ready?” Liz asked Tom

“Uh they will be assembled here tomorrow afternoon your highness” Tom stated

“Tom, unless you want hair like Michael’s I suggest you not call me your highness and stick to Liz” Liz threatened

Tom smiled

“Uh Liz what did you do?” Michael asked

“Well when you asked me to change your hair back to normal I kinda made it purple. I am surprised no one said anything yet. Um do you have any questions or anything?” Liz asked turning to Tom and Linda

“May I ask why you did not confide in us?” Linda asked

“The less you knew the better. Before I saved Serena that day I heard Nicholas say that khivar was after me. So I had you call me Ella and I kept anything that might put you in danger, to myself”

“I am just glad you are all okay” Linda stated honestly “Now you all seem to be tired so I suggest you get some rest before tomorrow” She suggested

Tom showed almost everyone to a tent where they could sleep meanwhile Liz bent down to talk to Serena “Can you bunk with Ria tonight I want to take Michael up to the look out”

“Alright but when you get back can you come get me?” Serena asked

“Sure thing kiddo” Liz said before she ran off.

Liz turned to Michael and took his hand in her own “Come on, I want to show you something”

Michael silently took her hand as she led him through a different part of the forest heading slightly higher as they moved along. After about ten minutes of walking the forest thinned out and they were standing at the top of a cliff looking out across a large area of land.

It was an amazing sight with many shades of green; not to far in the distance looking North West from where they were standing Michael could see the coast line.

“We are on the continent of Ahroemkah. It is the largest of the eight continents on Antar. We are standing near the west coast towards the northern most part of the island” Liz explained

“It’s beautiful” Michael commented

“I used to come up here at night and wonder what you would be doing. How you were going in school, if you were back with Maria.” Liz rambled slightly “Any way you seemed to have a lot on your mind”

“I just can’t believe everything you have been through in the hopes of keeping those around you safe. I mean that entire month with out you I was so worried but I was angry at the same time. I mean you left with no note not even as much as a goodbye. But now I know why” Michael said wrapping his arms around Liz’s waist “Having said that promise you won’t disappear again”

“I promise you’re stuck with me” Liz said before they sat on the ground, she sat between Michaels legs and he wrapped his arms around her holding her close.

“Michael, how do you feel about the possibility that your dad is alive?”

“I honestly don’t know. I mean all those years I was with hank, all I ever wanted was for my real dad to show up and take me away, then Tess showed up and we learnt about the massacre that took place so I presumed him dead. On one hand I am happy I get to meet my dad on the other hand I wonder what he’ll think of me. I mean in my past I was…some great general and now I am just Michael” Michael said venting many of his thoughts

“Michael, he is your father he’ll love you if you turn up hand in hand with Kyle while wearing a pink tutu” Liz chuckled

“You’re beginning to creep me out parker. Thanks” Michael chuckled

“No problem, scaring people is fun. Come on Tomorrow’s gonna be a long day to say the least” Liz said as they got up

Michael and Liz shared a deep passionate kiss before heading back to camp.

Part 17

Michael awoke first the next day with a half naked Liz in his arms. When they had returned from the cliff the previous night they had made love. Michael absentmindedly began wonder what would happen when the war was over.

Would they defeat Khivar? Or would they simply be captured? Was his father still alive? And if Areth was still alive what would he think of Michael? Would he and Liz still be together when or if she became queen? God how he hoped so.

Michael was brought out of his thoughts when Liz began to wake.

“Hey there” She whispered giving him a quick kiss on the cheek before getting dressed

After about an hour everyone was gathered, planning their attack.

“This” Liz began before projecting an image of the path they would be required to take to get to the castle “Is the quickest way to the castle”

“Wait a minute how many soldiers are there?” Michael asked

“About twenty plus us” Liz stated

“Well your path is out in the open. It would take an extra fifteen minutes or so but I think we should travel through this gully here. They won’t see us coming till it’s too late” Michael explained

“Spoken like a true leader” Liz pointed out

“So what happens now Liz?” Kyle asked

“Well I hope you are all ready to fight, because once I have informed the rogue soldiers of what is happening we leave”

“Gonna kick some ass” Alex chuckled as he rubbed his hands together.

“The only other thing, Serena, Linda, I want you two to stay here”

“Ella I am coming with you” Serena stubbornly whined

“No. This is going to be dangerous, I want you to stay safe” Liz explained

“But”

“No buts little sis. I promise as soon as we win I will send for you” Michael pointed out

Serena huffed “You promise?”

“Hell I’ll send for you when its almost finished so the you get a head start” Michael reasoned

“Fine” Serena huffed

“Liz it looks like all the rogue soldiers are gathered” tom informed her

“Is everybody ready?”

“Ready as we’ll ever be” Alex stated

“Lets go kick some evil Martian ass” Tess said with a grin on her face

Everyone followed Liz outside where she called for the attention of the soldiers.

Once all eyes were on her she began “Today is the day we will head into battle to defeat khivar once and for all. Some of you are thinking, what have we got to fight for? Who would be our leader? And many other questions that might dissuade you from going today. But the odds are greatly in our favor. Princesses Vilandra and Ava are fighting with us as well as general Rath” Liz gestured towards Lonnie Tess and Michael.

There were many whispers of excitement, learning of some of the royal fours existence was a moral boost

“Some of the royal four were blinded by power, only this version of Lonnie Tess and Michael can be trusted. Both Zan’s are traitors. We have been training for at least a month now and I have come to know each of you quite well. I would trust each of you with my life. However what you don’t now is that I bear the royal seal” Liz said projecting the image for all to see

“And I have just given all of you powers, similar to those of general Rath although not as powerful”

There were more whispers of excitement among the rogue soldiers “We will be taking the path through the reagor gully. Once at the castle everyone will split up into a few different groups and attack with stealth. Don’t let anyone know you are there until you can kill them. Each group will be accompanied by some of my friends here. Michael and I will be going after khivar. Lets go!”

There was a huge cheer before everyone headed off in the direction off the castle.

“You okay Michael?” Liz asked as they walked ahead of everyone

“Are you sure we can do this?”

“Of course we can Michael. I am hoping you will be re-united with your father”

“Yeah, me too” Michael said

It wasn’t long before they reached the castle.

Everyone gather around Liz “Right Kyle and Tess, Alex and Lonnie, Maria and tom. I want each pair to take about 4 soldiers and enter from the different castle gates, Michael and I will head straight to the throne room. That’s where I want everyone to meet in an hour. Move out” Liz stated before they all headed quietly off in the respective directions.

Meanwhile at the camp

Linda had been out by a fire preparing some lunch for Serena. She headed into her tent however was only greeted by a note in Serena’s handwriting.

Part 18

Liz and Michael easily crept into the throne room to find it empty. They were about to leave when they heard someone approaching. Quickly ducking out of sight they waited, moments later a man, in his mid thirties, came in looking very mad.

“What do you mean there was no one at the camp?!” He roared to a slightly younger man Liz knew to be Nicholas.

“We searched everywhere with in a mile radius sir. They are no where to be found” Nicholas explained

“Well that means that they have either left the planet or they are on their way here to attack” Khivar pointed out furiously

Khivar paused and thought for a moment before turning to Nicholas “Bring me Areth, Now”

“We’ll see what happens, then we’ll kill Khivar” Liz whispered to Michael

“Liz, be careful…I can’t loose you” Michael replied

“You won’t I promise” Liz said before leaning forward and pressing her lips to his in a brief but meaningful kiss “I love you”

“I love you to Liz” Michael breathed before they heard Nicholas returning.

The glanced out of their hiding place and Nicholas throw an obviously weak Areth at khivar’s feet.

“Now Areth I brought you here to make a deal with you. Either you help me fight against soldiers working in honor of your son, or you die” Khivar stated quite calmly

Areth chuckled before answering “You are finally facing your defeat. You killed my wife, you killed my children, I have nothing to live for now I know your empire will fall. Do what you wish”

Liz chose this moment to step out of the shadows.

“Very well” Khivar muttered pointing his hand in Areth’s direction. But the next thing he knew Areth was surrounded by a shield

“Nicholas! I thought you stripped his powers” Khivar yelled but as he looked in Nicholas’s direction, it was in time to see Michael break his neck.

“Get away from him” Liz ordered

“Who are you?”

“Friends call me Liz. I don’t know what enemies call me, they’re all dead. Get away from Areth” She ordered again

“Or what?”

“Or nothing either way I am going to do this” Liz said as a large energy ball was shot out of her hand and into Khivar killing him instantly.

”Bad guys are so stupid she muttered to herself as she ran to Areth’s side “Are you alright sir?”

“I am okay, considering. Who are you?”

“My name is Liz”

“And you are fighting in honor of my son?” Areth asked sounding a little confused

“Not only in honor of, but with” Liz said looking up at Michael who was awkwardly making his way over

“With?” Areth questioned quietly

Liz helped him to his feet “Khivar didn’t kill your son when he was recreated. I’d like you to meet Michael”

Areth looked up and became overjoyed “My boy” he whispered before pulling Michael into a hug

“Areth, there is someone slowly sneaking up from behind who missed you a great deal” Liz pointed out “Even though she was asked to stay at the camp where she would be safe”

“Daddy?”

“Serena” He breathed dropping to his knees. Serena looked hesitant

“It’s alright Serena, it’s really him” Liz explained. Serena instantly ran forward into her father’s arms

“Liz!” They heard a male voice yell from the doorway it was Kyle carrying an unconscious Tess.

“My god what happened?” Liz asked running over

“The dupes showed up. They’re all dead now but they did this to Tess. Liz, help her please” Kyle pleaded

Liz took a deep breath before concentrating and healing Tess. She awoke with a deep gasp before she started coughing.

“How is it you can heal such things?” Areth questioned

Liz explained how she was shot and received the seal from Max. By the time she had finished her story everyone was alive and in the throne room. Thankfully her plan to use the element of surprise, had worked, they were beaten but alive none the less.

“Die!” They heard a male yell from the door way

Liz spun around in time to see Max throw an energy ball at Serena “NOO!” Liz yelled furiously as she threw her own much larger energy ball at Max. Everyone in the room watched as his body disintegrated in front of their eyes.

Liz turned to look for Serena hoping that Max had missed. However she saw Serena crouched over a very unconscious looking Michael, who had blood staining the front of his shirt

“No” Liz breathed as she ran over “What happened” She demanded, tears already trickling down her cheeks

“He jumped” Serena muttered to shocked to manage much else

“Oh baby please come back…Don’t leave me now” Liz mumbled as she knelt next to him and placed her hands above the wound and concentrated

“That sort of wound will be difficult to mend” She heard Areth painfully whisper

Liz new it was time to complete the rest of her purpose, shutting everyone else out she focused all her energy on Michael. The rest of the group watched in amazement as five glowing circles moved down Liz’s arm and into Michael where there began to glow even brighter before forming the v constellation over the wound where Max’s energy ball had hit.

The glowing died down and Liz wept silently as she waited.

Moments later Michael sat up with a large gasp before he began panting as if he was out of breath.

Serena jumped forward and threw her arms around Michael’s neck. Michael shakily stood up, Serena hanging from his neck “Hey you okay?”

Serena only nodded in reply before Michael put Serena down next to Areth; Michael then turned around and walked over to Liz and picked her up and cradling her in his arms before sitting down and holding her close.

“Hey I’m okay now” Michael whispered “You saved me”

“I almost lost you” Liz replied as she cried into his chest

“I have never seen anyone use that much power, are you okay?” Areth questioned

“I just did what I had been planning to do from the beginning” Liz pointed out

“What you planned to do?” Lonnie asked

“Did Serena get a vision I would get hit and you knew you’d heal me?” Michael asked as he scratched his eyebrow

“That’s not what I meant” Liz stated as she sat up, although still sitting in Michael’s lap She shakily lifted his shirt and mumbled “I made you king”

Michael looked at his right side where the energy ball had hit and saw the royal seal. “Liz, no I can’t be king”

“Michael, look around you, two weeks ago you lived by yourself and you were alone. Now you have your father, your sister, your friends… You were always destined to be king Michael, you’re a great leader, friend, brother. The bad guys are gone, the future of Roswell is in your hands” Liz pointed out “I think it’s safe to say we won’t be calling you king nothing” she added

Michael was deep in thought before Serena asked “What about you, Liz?”

“Liz, hand me your pocket knife” Michael requested before she could answer

Michael took the small knife and completely enclosed the knife with his hands. He closed his eyes in concentration and his hands emitted a white glow. Once the glow stopped Michael turned to Liz and ignored the fact that all of his closest friends were in the room.

“Liz, without you I wouldn’t half the guy you just explained I…” Michael paused and sighed “Regardless of what I do with the whole being king thing, I need to know if you’ll do one thing for me”

“What?” Liz asked cautiously

“Marry me” Michael said as he opened his hand to present Liz with a beautiful silver ring with a blue stone in the middle, which had a smaller red stone either side of it

Liz’s hands were shaking, partly due to lack of energy and partly due to shock. All she could manage was nodding her head. Liz raised her hand with a huge smile on her face as Michael slid the ring onto her ring finger.

“I love you” Michael breathed as he held Liz close

“I love you too” she replied

After much rest and relaxation, everyone was back to their usual selves. The wedding was due in a month, and Michael was taking to be king quite well. Anyone who was involved in the freeing of Antar that fateful day held an important role within the castle. His father, Areth had stayed on as an advisor to his son.

All that was left to do now was rebuild Antar to the once prominent position it had held in the V constellation. And Michael had every intention of doing that well, with his wife, his family, and his friends by his side.
