"We could search some stuff on the computer about the area recently," I offer, nodding at his laptop. As long as we've got time, we might as well use it. Because then I've got to go to this party and talk to this Buffy girl some more. And, well, I suppose ask the guests some questions.

"I didn't have a computer handy at the motel."

"We could search some stuff on the computer about the area recently," he says indicating to the computer.

"I didn't have a computer handy at the motel."
I nodd. "Sure, no problem..."
I get up quickly as I remember. "One second..." I say as I quickly change my desktop picture...which is currently of Charlene. I then turn over the photo by the computer.
"Sorry....document you didnt need to read...boring maths stuff..." I say lamely.

Dean

"Sure, no problem..." Sam says, getting up quickly. While he's heading towards the computer, a look dawns on his face, and I wonder what he's thinking about.

"One second...Sorry....document you didnt need to read...boring maths stuff..." He says as a sad excuse for a lie, after he changes something on the computer. What, does my brother have innapropriate images on his computer? Yeah, so not true. I think the day I found something like that would be the day pigs fly.

"Whatever," I tell him, grinning as I get up. "Okay, so you're the technologically advanced one. How should we start this?"

"Whatever, Okay, so you're the technologically advanced one. How should we start this?"

I sit down at the computer. "Hmm...well...I guess the first place to start would be with the police files... "

I quickly open the internet and click on one of "My favourites". The Police secure files open up. I know Deans giving me the oddest look. "What?! I wanted to make sure there was nothing going on when I got here...I wanted to know that I would never have to do any of this stupid stuff again!"

Dean

Sam pulls up the police files pretty fast, and I give him a look. Maybe I haven't lost all hope of getting him to help me out.

"Don't worry bro, I'm not gonna judge," I say, putting my hands up. "I woulda done the same thing. Find anything interesting?"

I sigh. "Not really. A few deaths that were never explained...some missing people...that sorta thing. But its a big city...I thought nothing of it. Take a look" I say getting up to let him have the chair.

Dean

"Not really. A few deaths that were never explained...some missing people...that sorta thing. But its a big city...I thought nothing of it. Take a look" Sam says with a sigh, moving over so I can navigate the mouse and view the files.

"These demons, if that's what they all are, are hiding it pretty well," I tell him after finding nothing interesting.

"Your school has a library, right? With newspapers? I'll probably check that later this week."

I nodd. "Yeah its very extensive...but I didnt find anything" I admit as I sit back down on the bed. "Hey I was only being thorough....

Dean

"Yeah its very extensive...but I didnt find anything. Hey I was only being thorough...." He says, getting all defensive again as he sits back down on the bed.

I follow him over, and lay back on his pillow, wincing when my cuts hit the sheets. "That sucks. So no leads...but I really don't want to do anything else right now."

Thats just like him. Only intrested in working. "Fair enough" I say shrugging. I dont know what he expects me to do or say, cos I feel as stuck as he does. How would you feel having your brother stuck in your room?
