"Well, I need to feel if there's anything unusual in the area, but if it hurts too much now...I can do it later," He replies trying to be helpful. He’s so incredibly sweet, and seems to have no other agenda but to see that I am alright. Which I must say is a first for me."Sorry if I hurt you," He mumbles quickly and it is then that I realize that it must have appeared that he was hurting me. I don’t want him to know the real reason ,because that embarrassment would haunt me forever, but I can’t let him think he brought me any kind of pain.
That look on his face… the regret. It makes me want to hug him tightly. Not wanting to make a fool of myself I just quickly assure him. “No…You didn’t hurt me. It’s fine. Go ahead and check it.” He seems a bit hesitant so I take his hand in mine and place it on the injury. “See.. No pain.” I mumble while locking eyes with him.

“No…You didn’t hurt me. It’s fine. Go ahead and check it. See.. No pain.” She tells me, placing my hand back on her leg. Pressing gently I feel for any unusual bumps that could indicate shards of bone, taking my time so I don't hurt her. While I'm doing it though, I have to concentrate hard to stop thinking about how I'm running my hand up the leg of a woman I barely know.
When I'm satisfied that at the moment, it's nothing more than a huge bruise, I remove my hand and smile at her. "Seems alright, which is good." I run a hand through my hair and it comes away with dried blood, so I figure that I'm okay on the injury front too, and slump down at the base of the tree, tired.
"You shouldn't run around on it quite yet though," I explain, nodding at her leg. "Might hurt it more."
After what seems like an eternity he removes his hand and states, "Seems alright, which is good." I watch in fascination as he runs his hand through his hair and when he draws it back there is dried blood stained across. His leans back on the trunk of the tree obviously exhausted. "You shouldn't run around on it quite yet though," He informs me while gesturing toward my leg that is obviously out of commission. "Might hurt it more."
He adds so I offer him a weak smile. “Yeah, I don’t feel like running a marathon anytime soon.” I offer with a teasing grin. “What about you?” I question more than a tad concerned. “Are you gonna be alright?”

When I am finally able to move I stagger over to the direction where I see a tall lanky guy brushing someone's hair out of their face. On futhur inspection I find out that it was Isabel, the nice woman I was talking to before the plane went down. I can barely hear he muffled, "What happened?" The guy looked hesitant to tell her so I bit the bullet as I leaned over to make sure she was okay. "The plane crashed and we lived."Blunt, honest, and straight to the point. That's me.

Before the guy who is cradling my head can reply to my question,Maria appears and answers it for him,"The plane crashed and we lived."
For a moment I just look at her in shock as what she said sinks in.I can feel the panic rising in me but I shut my eyes tightly,trying,willing myself to calm down.
Oh my god...Max!Max was on this plane.
"Oh no...my cousin,Max.He was on this flight." I tell them after opening my eyes,looking from one to the other,tears filling my eyes
I manage to get up in to some sort of sitting position,my back supported by the guy's upper body.It feels like there are a hundred little hammers pounding away inside my head.
Liz looks to me and shakes her head. I knew it. The guy wanted a ciggie more then the beautiful girl, he's an addict. Maybe, once we get off this place, I can supply him.
I look to Tess, "Yo, I've seen you TV. Let me tell you, your more beautiful in person." I say with a smile.
She shuts her eyes tightly as if she’s trying to block out some pretty intense thoughts. "Oh no...my cousin, Max. He was on this flight." She reveals as she opens her eyes. I get choked up when I notice the tears streaming down her prominent cheekbones. She struggles to raise into some kind of sitting position. “It’s okay.” I try to comfort her. “I’m sure he’s fine.” Surveying the beach I see several men walking around. Anyone of them could be her cousin.
“Why don’t I go see if I can find him.” I offer helpfully. “Just sit here and rest I’ll be right back. "Walking up the stretch of beach a piece I feel a little silly ,but if it will calm the poor girl down I’ll find her cousin. “Uh… Max!”

~~~~~TESS~~~~~ "Yo, I've seen you TV. Let me tell you, your more beautiful in person."
I blush even though he's being slightly creepy. "Why, thank you...Sean" I say with a small smile. I turn to Liz and put a hand on her shoulder. "Hey....don't worry too much. I mean...I bet hes just freaked out about the plane. Give him a while and he'll be ok. How are you feelin?" I ask.
I smoke my cigarette happily. Thank God...I feel my body begin to function again. I smile as I feel the nicotine go through my body. Now thats sooo much better.
"Uh… Max!”
What the...who on Earth was that? He couldn't recognise the voice. He quickly stamped out his cigarette, seething. If someone was looking for him, he had better be somewhere that didn't stink of smoke. I quickly move out of the jungle. I spot Liz, Tess and Sean where they were before. I look around trying to see who called me. "Who called?" I yell out.
"Who called?" I hear a scruffy looking gentlemen ask the group a few feet away. "Uh me." I acknowledge suddenly feeling sheepish. I didn't realize her cousin was The Maxwell Evans. he's only one of the sexy men on prime time televison. I tivo his shows religiously. He looks a little different in person. Suddenly realizing my mission I state. "Your cousin is worried about you." Breathing in deepy I continue, "She's not doing to good. You should come and see her." I reply hoping that he will heed my words. Isabel needs a comforting person right now.
