LOL! It's ok. I just thought that Alex was going to want to check on when Kyle's friend was supposed to be coming. I didn't mean to just leave ya alone like that. Sorry!

Leaving the dining room too, I head for my room, wanting to see if Kyle already contacted me. Entering my room, I immediately notice that there is no message waiting for me. Maybe I should try to contact him, see if he has any idea when his friend will arrive.

I was just about to leave my private chambers after lunch when I see the red light flash on the communicator indicating a new message so switch the screen on,"Kyle,you there?"

SHould have known he'd get in touch with me today even though I told him I'd let him know of the plans once I knew more about them myself.Impatient fellow!

"Yeah hi Alex.What's the problem?"

Standing outside her door I hear her call out,"Come in."
Opening the door softly I enter and bow,"Good morning Princess.I trust you had a good night's rest."

OOC-Max was last in the kitchen.

"She'll be alone Alex.I will send one of my pilots of course but I suppose he'll just need to rest up for a day or so before heading back to Valentia."

I contemplate about adding some more information wondering how wise that would be but then decide Alex is one of my most trustworthy friends.

"Be kind to her Alex,she's not had much of that in the life for the past year.I should know more about her travel plans soon.As soon as I do I'll get in touch with you."

At first I'm miffed that Kyle thinks I'd be an ass to the woman but then I realize he has reason too - I wasn't too estatic about the whole thing from the beginning.

"Don't worry, I might not be totally happy about this but I'll treat her like a guest and with the utmost respect. I'll be a gentleman and make sure no one hurts or offends her."

Occ: Mel, Max took off after being teased by Michael. He can come check with Liz if you want or have him check on things back home or whatever you think.

I smile as Michael steps inside. "Yes, I did, Michael, thank you for asking. How was your first night here? I hope you were able to get some sleep. I know it's always hard for me to sleep in a strange place the first night."

I'm upset with my self for feeling a little disappointment that it isn't Max. What is wrong with me? I've been trained all my life for the part I'm supposed to play in these peace treaties. I know my role and I've always been happy to do what I'm supposed to do. But ever since meeting Max, only yesterday at that, I can't seem to focus on my duties.
