"Oh...well I'm sure you'll find the perfect woman for you someday." She replies but her wording tells me that her hearts really not in it. What has changed in the past couple of posts?

"So, we've been talking quite a while on here..." She trails off as if she has nothing else to say.

“Yeah I don’t think I’ve ever chatted online this long.” I retort feeling quite dumb myself.

“You know.. Gidge your gonna find the perfect guy for you.” I’d love to put in an application for the postion but I’m not sure she evens feels that way about me anymore.

“Yeah I don’t think I’ve ever chatted online this long.” Now I feel utterly stupid. I bet he's just going along with the conversation to be nice or something.

“You know.. Gidge your gonna find the perfect guy for you.”
Sure. That's about as likely as... I don't know... being invited to my own wedding or something! Ok any wedding at this point!

"Er... I'm just gonna say thank you although I don't believe it and move this conversation along." I type, feeling more increasively stupid. STUPID STUPID Liz. God HOW did I get here?! We almost did....and now we're. It absolutely HAS To be my fault. I bet I'll never get another email from him again after this.

"So....umm....I'm finding coming up with things to say difficult now without going into specifics....um.... anything you want to talk about?"

*Isabel*

‘I can’t wait to tell everyone that we are getting married. Everyone is going to be thrilled.” A huge grin splits my face at Alex's enthusiasm“I can’t wait a moment longer. I must tell the people closest to me that you have agreed to be my wife!”Oh! I can't believe how much I love this man, he makes me feel so loved

“Do you mind if we put off our celebration just long enough for me to make a couple of phone calls?” I shake my head and kiss him one more time before letting him out of my arms to make the phone calls.

"And here I was thinking it was usually the female who needed to make all calls..." I giggled as I ran out of the room, knowing it Alex would be ready to grab and tickle me for challenging his masculinity. As I walk through the hallway into the kitchen I'm stopped by a picture of Alex and myself, just an ordinary picture of us nothing special but as I look at Alex and the way he looks at me I can only hope that I'm enough for him, what if I'm not? what if I don't measure up?

*Alex*

Isabel shakes her head and plants a tender kiss upon my lips before leaving my embrace. I’m about to thank her profusely when she gives me a moxy smile. Uh oh. That’s never good.

"And here I was thinking it was usually the female who needed to make all calls..." She giggles as she saunters out of the room. She’s going to pay for that one. I grin widely as I go over all the pleasurable punishments I could enforce.

Grabbing my cell phone off the nightstand I hit number two on the speed dial. It goes right to my best friend, Liz. Little Lizzie and I have been best friends for as long as I can remember. I just know she’ll be thrilled when she finds out.

Its then my cell starts to ring. Who on earth would be calling at this time of night? I pick up my phone and look at the caller ID.
Alex.

Maybe he's remembered... maybe he's finally remembered that he promised he would marry me if we got to this age. I quickly type to Max, "Brb, phone call." I set my status to away before picking up.

"Allleeexxx..." I say down the phone. "Hey! How are you?!"

*Alex*

My angel answers the phone with an enthusiastic, “Allleeexxx..." I grin widely. There’s my girl.

"Hey! How are you?!" She questions with a delightful giggle.

“I’m absolutely perfect!” I exclaim happily.

“It’s so good to hear your voice!” I embellish with a thrilled tone.

“Look I have to ask you something…” I let the suspense build up for a moment before continuing.

“Something so incredibly important that if you turn me down, I don't know what I'll do.”

“I’m absolutely perfect!” I sigh happily as he replies. Oh... Alex! It's Alex! "It’s so good to hear your voice!” His too! This is so great talking to him....

“Look I have to ask you something…”
HE'S ASKING ME TO MARRY HIM! HE REMEMBERED!!!!
I sigh happily. Ok, so I would have preferred him to ask in person, and romantically, but at least I know now. I will be getting married to my best friend.

“Something so incredibly important that if you turn me down, I don't know what I'll do.”
"Oh Alex.... of course I won't turn you down!!! My answer's yes Alex!"

I then realise he hasn't actually asked me anything yet so I coolly add, "Yes to whatever your question is..."

*Alex*

"Oh Alex.... of course I won't turn you down!!! My answer's yes Alex!" She exclaims clearly thrilled. I love that about Lizzie. She always supports me no matter what. That's why she's my best friend. "Yes to whatever your question is..." I grin widely as I imagine that expression she gets when she's excited. "Oh I'm so glad." I admonish with a relieved flair. "I need you to catch the next flight out. There's so much planning that needs to be done. I don't know what I'd do without you Liz."

I plop down on the bed and run a hand through my ruffled hair. "I just knew you'd be happy. You are really going to love her too. She's the best thing that ever happened to me. I still can't believe it... I'm going to marry Isabel Evans." I state with a wide grin.
