Isabel/Calypso

Tears began to move down my face fast as it hits me completely that Remus is gone for good...nothing would or could bring him back now.

Holding him close I cry unashamedly,my tears falling on to his face,rocking us both gently back and forth...this is all my fault.

I will have to tell Michael that his best friend is dead...killed out of spite by his father...as my sobs subside I reach out to Michael mentally,hoping that he hears me...

Michael...I need to...can you shimmer to me? I ask through my mind

I look up at Max. "God...this is awful..." I mutter.
I sigh and say. "We should...head upstairs"

*Maria*

“Now if you excuse me I well begin checking up on these elders not really to find black mail material just for something to do to keep my mind off of things.” he answers as he turns to the bookcase and begins to run his fingertips alone the spines of our rather impressive ancient books collection.

"Thanks Kyle. You'll never know how much your friendship has meant to me." I state not wanting to ever regret not telling my family how much they mean to me.

I so do hate it when things get goopy. Forming a retreat I speak up,

"I should go change clothes for our depature. I'm sure our past lives have no idea who Led Zepplin was." I reason nodding to my band tee. I make it about half way across the room before I hear a boom. Turning to the other I notice what caused the interruption.

"Uh Oh. The broom fell." I state terror seizing my heart.

"That means company is coming." I inform the room reluctantly.

Making my way back to Michael I throw my arms around hiim before yelling,

"Liz!!!"

"Thanks Kyle. You'll never know how much your friendship has meant to me." Maria says. Oh no that sounded a lot like a “good bye I’ll never see you again thing.”

"I should go change clothes for our depature. I'm sure our past lives have no idea who Led Zepplin was." She laughs and goes to change.

Then she starts babbling about brooms. "Uh Oh. The broom fell. That means company is coming. Liz!!!"

“Dude what’s all the shouting about?” Dustin asks walking into the room.

“I’ll explain later.” I tell him. “Oh kid could you help me here? Look through these books find things on the elders ok?”

He nods giving me a strange look. “Elders like old people or something else?”

“Something else.” glancing over at Maria and Michael. “Well then I guess I better go prepare for company then because in this house it’s a very good chance it could be anything. And most likely bad oh I hope it’s not the angel of death again.”

"Liz!!!"

I quickly run towards the attic, dragging Max by his hand with me.
"What's going on?" I ask quickly, frightened.

Max

Liz drags me towards the attic. Whoever called for Liz sounded beyond scared.

"What's going on?" Liz asks.

Michael

Just as Maria throws her arms around me and starts babbling about the broom falling, someone speaks in my mind.

Michael...I need to...can you shimmer to me? I hear, and it sounds like Isabel. She doesn't sound happy either.

Isabel? What's wrong? Where are you? I ask pulling away for a minute from Maria.

"Maria, something's wrong. Isabel...she sounds upset." I say quietly.

Isabel/Calypso

"Isabel what's wrong?Where are you?" I hear Michael question me through the telepathic connection

Wiping the tears off my face with the back of one hand I answer "I'm in Austria,with Alex on our honeymoon."

I glance down at Remus,making sure one last time that he was well and truely gone "You have to come here rigth now Michael." I more or less command and as an after thought add "and only you."

Michael

Austria? I'm about to ask why she'd go there for her honeymoon before I realize that's where she grew up. But then I'm broken from my thoughts as she continues.

You have to come here right now Michael. And only you.

I'm coming, I tell her, then I turn to Maria.

"Maria," I say again, quietly. "There is something definitely wrong. I have to go now. I love you. If I'm not back before you have to leave, I wanted you to know that. Please come back." Kissing her briefly, I back away and start to shimmer to Isabel. Not caring that I'm in yesterday's clothes again, I reach out in my mind to find her.

"Sorry Maria," I say before I go, trying not to look at her. I don't want her to go, and I don't want to go, but I have this gut feeling something bad is happening.

"Isabel?" I ask out loud, knocking on the door of the hotel room I'd shimmered to.

Isabel/Calypso

"Isabel." I hear Michael's voice outside our hotel room door

Gently I lay Remus' now still body on to the sofa nd rush towarsd the door before Alex can reach it.

"Michael!" I exclaim loudly before rushing towards him and throwing my arms around his neck,tears once again flowing freely and my sobs becoming very audible
