Did they tell you where they were going? They must have their cell phone with them, why don't you try giving them a call?"

He hands his phone over to me and I take it from him. Quickly, I look for the Evans cell phone number using his cell adress book. I finally find it and hit the call button and then hold the small phone up to my ear. I wait for what seems to be an eternity and finally hang up the phone when I see that no one's picking up.
"No one's picking up." I answer quietely.

I rev the engine making us go a lot faster than the speed limit.

When we finally reach Covis, the suns already set and the temperatures dropped from several degrees. I wrap my arms tightly around myself as we pull up a small hotel where Mr. and Mrs.Evans are supposedely supposed to be staying at.
Max quickly comes to a full stop and cuts the engine. I turn around to face Kyle.
"Kyle, your coming with us." I tell him as I hop out of the jeep. "I don't want anything happening to you while we're gone like last time." I grab his arm and pull him out of the jeep. "Come on."

I hear Liz talking to Kyle but I go on ahead. I run inside, storm upto the receptionist demanding to know where the Evans are. Eventually I find out and dash up to there room. I burst open the door with my powers.
"DADDDDYYY!"
I look up to see Zan fly at my legs. On further inspection I see mom and Dad.
"Is he here? Is Kivar here? Why didn't you answer your phone!"
"Sorry son... No he's not here....why would he be...."
I sigh as Zan look up at me.
"Daddy play with me?"

oh god!! It just slipped out. I quickly pull away and extract myself from Nathan.
It's just....too soon...after Liz....those words ring through my head as I stand in front of him trying deperatly to catch my breath.
I know he isn't ready but yet I said it. I asked him to do something he doesn't want to do.
