I recently saw :
Scary Movie 4- I didn't think it was as funny as the third one, which in my opinion was the best out of all of them.
Thanking you For Smoking- it was hilarious. I really liked it and I would recommend it.
V for Vendetta- I really, really , really liked this movie. From everyone I have talked to they have either loved it or hated it. I liked it mostly because it was an original movie. We are always looking for unique movies and this surely qualified. There are so many remakes, and remakes of remakes out there that it is refreshing to see something orignal.
The Weatherman- It was good. I knew it was a dark comedy but I didn't think it would be as depressing as it turned out to be. All in All I liked it!
Those are all the movies I have seen in the past week or two. We don't watch as many as we used to.

Someone somewhere doesn't want me to see Rent. It came out where I live recently. I couldn't go and see it right away because I'd agreed to do these extra shifts at work and didn't have time to go to the cinema. It'd been out for about a week when I got the chance to go and see it only to find out it wasn't all that popular so the cinema had stopped showing it! I'm keeping my eye out and as soon as it comes out on DVD I'm going to rent it.
I saw Tristan & Isolde yesterday and I loved that. It was so romantic.

Anybody seen anything good lately? I got a little time on my hands for the old picture show, but all the good stuff doesn’t really come out into later this month or next month.

I went to see The DaVinci code today... I have mixed feelings about it. I dont want to ruin it for anyone who hasnt seen it, but I have to say that some things were changed from the book which I read. Overall I thought that Tom and the rest of the actors did great.
The way the movie was shot was really cool too, cool special effects when they would show someones memories or whatever. Would I see it again... I dont think so, am I glad that I saw it yes...

I just saw
X3 and it was pretty good. My friend's brother worked on the production and he said that they actually just finished shooting in April, so I'm mucho impressed that it turned out pretty well. Only thing is there's one scene that's a little screwy. The scene where Magneto tears apart the Golden Gate Bridge. The scene starts during the day, he rips off the struts of the bridge and by the time it connects to Alcatraz it's night time.

Totally lacks any continuity - Big, big, boo-boo.

I noticed that too! But overall it was good. I was surprised about how sappy it was... a lot of boohooing...

Funny you mentioned that. The movie theater told us to stay until the end of the credits because of the teaser, so we all did and the teaser ended up being...10 seconds! When the teaser was over everyone in the theater was like, "that's it? We stayed for a lousy 10 second clip?"
At least in the end they thanked the City of Vancouver. Which was kind of nice.

I agree, although i have been to the cinemas to watch it 5 times so far since it came out 5 days ago (sad i know lol) i just love X-Men have done since i was a kid.
Although after the wait i became a little dissapointed in how Angel turned out, but was pleasantly suprised that Colossus was given a bigger role than in X-2
In the end i loved the whole movie just for the scene in the end between Wolverine and Jean Grey/Pheonix.
All up a good continuation to a great series and hopefully another one to come..
