Professor Sprout
With class about to start, I busy myself with preparing. After making sure all the plants are divided between the work stations, I double check my class list of pairs. I figured it would be a nice change to give the students partners, rather than to have them pick their own, considering its a new year and all.
Posting the class list, I watch as the students begin to arrive; students from all houses, and from several different years.
"Students, as you file in, please come and check the partner list. We will be working with poisonous bubbly snaggle root bulbs today, and at each worktable there is all the equipment you will need. Once everyone arrives, I will explain further."

We get to the greenhouses and I sit down, afraid to look at the partner list. But then everyone that's there goes to look, so I do the same.
"You two suck," I complain, looking at Hermione and Harry's partners. "You get a Hufflepuff 'Mione, and Harry's paired with that new girl." Why do I always end up stuck with the bad partners? That's part of the reason I hate this class. I think Sprout does it on purpose.

"Great," I mutter, noticing who I'm paired with. "A Slytherin." I'd seen this Tess girl around, I mean how could I not? She's the ferret's sister. If I was related to him I would so move out.*Pairs List*

I sigh as I look over the partners list. I'd planned on just sortof avoiding Harry but this to have made this impossible. Regan looks pleased with her partner and I give her a look that says I am not happy about this at all but she just shrugs it off.
"Okay then." I finally say picking up my stuff and moving over to where Harry and his friends are sitting. I plop down in a chair near him and say, "So I guess we're working together then."

I look at the partners list. "Oh great......."I mutter to myself, "I get stuck with another stupid Jock." I read the list again this time looking for Ron's name. I find it quickly and look over at the beautiful blonde named Tess.
Hermonine flipped her hair over her shoulders and quicklly moved out of the way of everyone else. Of course Ron would get paired with the most beautiful girl in school, Hermoine thought to herself.
I look at the partners list. "Oh great......."I mutter to myself, "I get stuck with another stupid Jock." I read the list again this time looking for Ron's name. I find it quickly and look over at the beautiful blonde named Tess.

I take a look at the list, hoping to be paired with Michael. He's not a good student or anything, but he's my friend and that will make the lessons fun. Whoever it is, I'm hoping I can steer him/her to a seat near the middle so I can see Liz's space, too. She's almost always right at the front.
I almost fall over when I check the list and I see that I'm working with Liz Parker of all people. Liz! She's so amazing, so beautiful. How am I going to be able to do anything with her right next to me? This will either be the best class I've ever known in Hogwarts, or ... I'll look like an idiot and I'll be embarrassed the entire year. She is on year below me so I only hope that I won't look like a dunce.
Frowning, I look further down the list and I see that Michael is paired with Reagan. Interesting. I wonder how things will go there...

Maria and I talk on the way to class, well she’d talk and I’d listen. She went on and on about how Herobiolgy is her favorite class and how she wishes all her classes we just like Herobiology. I just nod; I really didn’t know what to say. I was never a talkie person just give me a book and you will just see me reading that’s all.
Maria and I enter the class room noticing everyone was crowding the professor’s desk. I guess the partner list is up. “Let go see who we are with” I hope its Maria, not because she's my best friend because I just want to talk to her some more. I haven’t talk to her all summer. I just want to get caught up.
We walk down the aisle and up to the professor’s desk. I walked in line to see who Maria and I have as the students left the desk and it was Maria and I turn, we both looked down at the list. 3 Max-Liz I looked over to Maria and name and notice she pair up with Draco. Oh my….I feels so bad for her. She hates the slytherin and now she pair up with one.
I look to see where Max is stand with his friend. I guess it would be fun learning more still year. I just hope Max won’t be too shy to talk to me. He’s a very shy guy but I guess normal. Heck people think I’m shy when I don’t talk half the time but all I really am doing is trying to read there feelings, which works sometimes not all the time.

Assigned partners? That sucks. Everyone's up there crowding around to see who they're going to be working with. Damn. I don't want to be crowded up against all those mudbloods and Griffendors. Ugg. I wish Crabbe and Goyle were here. I'd send them up to wade through the gathering and get the information. They may not be all that bright but they can read my name off a list. Unfortunately, they're not in this class.
I could stand back here and wait for whoever is my partner to come and say so but a Malfoy doesn't sit back and wait on anything.
"Outta the way," I say imperiously as I step forward. Several of the students seem to automatically move back, but not all of them. I cast a few well-placed glares and then get to a position where I can take a seat at the bench of my choosing. Then, I lazily look towards Spout's list.
"Ocularus Proxima," I saw, giving little wave of my wand. Instantly a representation of the page appears in mid-air before my eyes. My name is last on the list. That's not right. She should never list those mudbloods ahead of me. What's even worse, is she's paired me with that half-blood Maria Valenti.
I glance down my nose at her, my eyes still slitted into a glare. She is part Veela and I can't deny that she's attractive -- but I'll never let her know that.

I look at the list and swallow. Arianna. Arianna Black. Possibly related to Sirius. I mustn't get too excited, I mean, I know it must be too good to be true... But it could be right? I mean... I can't help but think this is my chance to find out.
Taking a seat with my friends I wonder how to play this...I mean....I desperately want to know. But its not as if I can say "Hey, are you relaed to my godfather?"
"So I guess we're working together then."
I look up to see her standing over me. I blink as I look at her. She is very striking. Her dark brown hair in waves that roll down to her waist. I swallow.
"Erm yeah I guess so" I say as I watch her sit next to me. I don't know whether or not to introduce myself...I mean...she knows my name from the sheet... but would it be impolite not too...
I decide that if I do, like most people she'll think Im being bigheaded, so instead I decide to go with a different simple conversation starter.
"So how are you finding Hogwarts?"
