As for Kyle being in the band room and buying Liz's lame excuse, there IS no satisfactory explanation that anyone's come up with. Welcome to the CHADDs.
ROFL... I actually watched the pilot again like two days ago and I was exactly wondering the same thing and then I thought maybe I should ask on the Roscanon thread, only to think in the end, yeah like someone will really know about that  I mean it doesn't make any sense... beside the fact that it certainly was the best way to have Kyle catch Max and Liz in a one-on-one situation that could lead to his first suspicions I don't see what was the point? ... But I'm glad I wasn't the only one wondering

As for the eyes, yeah I guess it really depends on the pic and mostly the light, in some they are clearly hazel and in other they have a more greenish hue... but well, I guess that amber eyes is just more original and exceptional than plain brown or something like that (though there's definitely nothing wwrong with having brown eyes  )... in any case Jason has beautiful eyes that's for sure... and as far as I'm concerned, eyes to die for definitely works, too.

Thanks by the way for allowing me to go through all my pics again :D ... I found a few where you can see the difference :
Pic 1 Pic 2Pic 3 Pic 4 (I don't know why imagestation always reduces the size of the pic... and even less why they cancelled my last account, just because I uploaded a pic of Jason bare-chested... I mean, I did leave him with the pants on   That's the second one they desactivate, I guess they don't like Jason as much as I do  )

Hugs,
Rebecca

LIZ: I don’t even know if there’s anything to say. I mean, I saw him over the summer, and it was casual. I’m sure now that we’re back in school, he’s just thinking of me as a summer fling.

And there are other clues too, so I assumed that the school year just started. So why would they already be studying for a bio-midterm? I know it was just an excuse, but why would Kyle buy it?
Since it was in the Pilot, it had to happen between Sept. 18 when Liz got shot and the 23rd which is clearly establish at the start with Liz's VO.
VOICE-OVER: September 23rd. Journal entry one. I'm Liz Parker and five days ago I died. After that, things got really weird....
Which would have been pretty close to the beginning of the school year. So a mid-term refernce would have been chadd.

He's listed on the IMDB as Milton Ross. I couldn't find where this was mentioned onscreen... in fact, often even his first name isn't mentioned onscreen.

Brody first appeared in the second episode of season 2, 'ask not.' Max is surprised at his appearance, but we're not really sure if Max has been working at the center much over the summer, so it isn't exactly clear when Brody bought it.

There's really no information about what Milton did after selling. There was some doubt as to whether Brody really bought the center or possibly killed Milton in 'ask not'... when Michael and Isabel suspected he was a skin. With the revelation that Brody was actually a proxy for Larek... well, Larek may have had his own reasons for having Brody near Max, and if so he might have had something to do with Milton's disappearance. As usual, we don't really have much in the way of information to go on. :)

Looking in Steve Hytner's filmography (the guy who played Milton) you find that he's cast as Milton Ross on Roswell, so I guess that's it even if I don't remember ever hearing him or anyone else say his last name on the show :?

As for when Brody took over the Center, you see him for the first time in Ask not (2nd epi. season 2) but I don't think he said much about why he was taking over :?

This is actually all he says:
BRODY: Are you Max Evans?

MAX: Yeah. Who are you?

BRODY: Brody Davis. You're working for me now.

MAX: Excuse me? Milton didn't tell me...

BRODY: Milton's gone. I bought him out.

MAX: He sold the UFO center? This was his life's work.

BRODY: Things change.

MAX: What's all this stuff?

BRODY: I'm making some improvements.

But that's it  ... no more explanation as to where he went or whatever

Hope it helps

Re: Brodey's accent?

April wrote:Hi, everyone! I'm currently writing a fanfic, and I'm about to introduce Brodey Davis as a character. I'm just wondering, did they ever say whether he was English or Australian or Irish on the show? I've been trying to figure out that accent for awhile now, and I've decided that he doesn't sound Irish. So that leaves it at English or Australian. I've read a lot of fanfics where he is mentioned as an English guy, but I think he sounds more Australian. Can anyone help me with this little issue? It'd be much appreciated, and it would help me out a great deal with my fic. Thanks!

Hmmm... nothing is mentioned in the episodes as far as I know... and I searched the transcripts for 'english', 'british,' and 'australian' without finding anything relevant. He was on the massachussets turnpike when he was first 'abducted' for what little that's worth.

On the other hand, a web search on Desmond Askew, who plays Brody, shows that he was born in London and went to the "Sylvia Young Theatre School", which is also in London, Marylebone to be precise.

So, I think between the prevailing opinion from a lot of Roswell fans that his accent sounded english, and the actor's real background, I would tend to go with an English background for him. Hope that helps, and sorry that I couldn't come up with any definitive word from canon.

I know the car Tess drove was silver... but that doesn't help.

I have a question that is just me checking i'm not insane and been incorrect this entire time, so its more me needing reassurance than anything:

Liz's dad's name is Jeff Parker right?

Because i was watching the pilot the other day with subtitles because there was heaps of noise in my house at the time and when Valenti gives Jeff back the picture Liz showed to the tourists, Valenti calls him Jack, not Jeff.

So i'm not crazy right? His name is Jeff and that was just a small f**k up on the writers part?
:D Ki-ki :D

Anniepoo98 wrote:Howdy all~

Now, I have a couple of questions (sorry if they have been asked before).

A) When did we first find out about Kivar... like the name or just a reference to him?

B) When did we find out for the first time that Brody was a conduit for Larek? It was MITC, right? No mentions of Larek before then?

Annie:)
a) This probably depends on what kind of reference you're looking for.

- In 'destiny', the mom-o-gram talked about enemies, but never a specific leader.

- In 'surprise', Whittaker told Isabel that she had a great love, for whom she betrayed her brother and her side. No name though.

- In 'meet the dupes', Lonnie mentioned Kivar by name to Max, while telling him vilandra's dark secret (and intentionally getting him angry at Isabel for not telling him herself.)

b) Yeah, no mention of Larek or conduits before 'max in the city' to the best of my knowledge. There were odd hints that Brody's 'abductions' were something real and related to the storyline maybe, but no more than that.

Q1. What is Alex's mother's name?
in CYN, Alex's dad mentioned a "Gloria" who I assume is Alex's mother.

Oooh... I didn't realize that was mentioned out loud... though actually it appears to be in ITLITB, not 'cry your name'. But still!!

I'm not sure which episode ... I thought it was after the funeral in the backyard of the Whitman's house but it could also have been while Maria and Liz went through Alex's stuff the next episode
