i have to agree with this. i get a very sick feeling of pleasure when his eyes light up with hope that maybe this time he can escape...only to be recaptured again, and again, and again.

I see what you mean. I do like watching him think he can escape....maybe we could get him a very large gerbil wheel to play in for our amusement? Ed, what do you think of that idea?
