I watch Alex and Isabel's interactions for a moment with some amusement. Oh, yeah, they are definitely hitting it off. Deciding to leave it to nature, I turn back to Kyle. "So, Kyle, what have you been up to lately? Set up any more hidden camera systems?" I tease.

~KYLE~

Liz jerks my attention back to her and I grin at her teasing. "As a matter of fact, our company set up the security on this place. I sent them some potential bouncers myself."

I lean a little closer to Liz, trying to see if I can guage Tess' reactions to me. Wait a minute. Why do I care? Maybe because for the first time ever, I want to get to know a girl from the moment I lay eyes on her, not just get to know her body. Man, that sounded really low. "How about you? How's your dad doing? He in town?"

~LIZ~

I shake my head. "No, daddy's in Tokyo right now. He's supposed to fly home sometime in the next couple of days but I think he goes right back out to London after that. As a matter of fact, I was thinking about having a party next weekend. Care to come? You can bring your friends of course." I lower my voice and say, "I think Alex and Isabel are just hitting it off splendidly don't you?"

~KYLE~

I glance over at them and grin at the picture they make. They look like they've been going out for ages. I turn back to Liz. "You know, you never told me whatever happened between you and Alex when I set you two up. Care to share now?" I ask curiously.

~LIZ~

I shake my head quickly and decide it's time for a subject change. I turn to the spikey haired friend and ask, "So Michael, what do you do? Do you work for Kyle or something?"

Isabel

"I'll tell you what...you take care of the beard.Go to a salon if you don't have the heart to take it off yourself."

That shouldn't be too tough for him to handle.What is it with guys and facial hair?Really there should be some manual guide for guys-those who should and shouldn't grown beards.And Alex falls in the latter category.

"Seven fine by me.We can go to the optician and pick out a new pair of frames for you and if you want contact lenses.Though,they kinda bother me so I usually avoid mine."

I blink slightly at that. Contact lenses? She has some? Does that mean ...

"You have glasses?" I ask interested. "Why aren't you wearing them? And if you want me to have a different hair cut, it might be best to do the hair and beard in one session."

Isabel

"You have glasses?" he asks in surprise and I nod my head

"I'm not wearing them because I have my contacts on right now.I generally wear the contacts when I go for parties,otherwise I wear my glasses,for distance vision that is.And fine...we'll go to the salon together."

ALEX

"Cool." I grin. "I wouldn't want to anger you by getting a wrong hair cut or something. Of course, if you have other plans or a date then it's okay and I'll do it alone."

I hope she doesn't have a date. Did we talk about her having a boyfriend earlier? No, don't think so, maybe I should have done that. Trying to get those thoughts out of my head, I look a bit closer, trying to see if I can spot the contacts in this poor light.

"I wouldn't want to anger you by getting a wrong hair cut or something. Of course, if you have other plans or a date then it's okay and I'll do it alone."

I raise my eyebrows,this guy is the limit,"Alex" I say in exasperation "We'll be meeting on a Monday,I don't go out on dates on the first day of the week.I am usually tired after work.So don't worry.You're not interrupting any plans of mine,I would have told you if you were."

I return my attention back to the others to see what they are taking about.If I only keep talking to Alex,Liz will get after me later saying that I had eyes only for him.

ALEX

"We'll be meeting on a Monday,I don't go out on dates on the first day of the week.I am usually tired after work.So don't worry.You're not interrupting any plans of mine,I would have told you if you were."

Uh oh, she sounds angry but before I can say anything, she turns slightly and listens to what's going on around me. I pissed her off - even before the make over really started.

Turning my attention partly to what is going on with Kyle and Tess, I can't help and think of my words to Max earlier - She's your sister, I know she's off limits. Maybe it is a good thing that she is angry - no chance for more happening this way.

OT: Uh, just a quick clarification if I confused anyone. The one post a day means one post per character, not necessarily per person. So if you're playing more than one character, you can post more than once in a day. Also, we could sort of use a Maria post about now to start heating things up between Michael and her.

"So Kyle, how long have you known Liz?" Tess asks. She has a nice voice, not too high and queaky but not uncomfortably, manly low either.

"Let's see, I've known Liz a couple of years now. When her father wanted to completely redo the security system in their home, he called my father. I helped on the job because it was pretty big. I met Liz then and we just sort of clicked. She invited me to one of her bashes that next Friday and the rest is history. You ever have people in your life that you just seem to click with?" I ask, just to continue talking to her.

~LIZ~

I lean a little closer to Michael after his answer. "Ooh, a man who can cook! You must be pretty good to be cooking for the public. You have a specific style of cooking you prefer? I mean, do you cook mainly Italian dishes, French, Chinese? Or is it just an eclectic mix of styles?" I could get into dating a guy who can cook.

I grin at her question. "That could be interpreted a million ways," I tease. "But no, not really. I mean, I can get along with pretty much anybody but there are few people I can honestly say that I've 'clicked' with pretty quickly...you know that I didn't have to work at a friendship or whatever quite as hard as other people." Oh, man! Now, I'm starting to sound like a chick! I hope she doesn't think I'm a total loser.
