My ears prick up when I hear Michael talking to Liz about cooking,especially when he mentions desserts.Trying out new desserts is one of my hobbies,"What's your favourite dessert to make Michael?" I ask leaning forward,my elbows resting on the tops of my knees

ALEX

I frown slightly when Isabel leans closer to Michael but then I realize they are talking about cooking. I grin at that, sometimes it still surprises even me that Michael is a decent cook. Considering how much the ladies seem to like men who cook, I should have learned it too instead of just being able to do the simple recipes that don't enquire much knowledge.

I'll just listen to their talk and i'll try to *not* look down Isabel's shirt. Lord knows what Max might do to me if me catches me staring down there.

Isabel

"I think my untimate favorite dessert to make is cheesecake, but I do love to make a good souffle."

"I LOVE cheesecake!" I beam at him "But souffle is one thing I haven't really been able to master yet.Since you're a chef...do you think you could give me a demo one of the days when you're free?That is if you want to.I can pay you for the trouble."

ALEX

"You'll have a great teacher with Michael." I tell Isabel with a smile, hoping that cooking is the only activity they'll do together. "He even managed to teach me a few things about cooking and I'm totally incompetent in the kitchen."

Not everyone can manage to burn the kitchen three times in one year, I think.

~LIZ~

I don't participate much in the conversation about desserts, just deciding to listen for a few minutes. That and the fact that my eyes caught the dark haired guy from earlier on the dance floor with another girl. Huh. He sure moves fast. After the face sucking that he did with the other girl earlier, I could have sworn she was his girlfriend. Maybe he's just a player who's out to nail everything in a skirt.

That makes me decide to totally forget about him. I look back at Michael and smile sweetly. "Yes, you know you could get paid a lot of money for the occasional cooking class you could offer...especially if you make a couple of those about desserts only. I know I would be interested," I say batting my eyes at him a little.

I smile at Tess, pleased that I didn't seem to have made myself look as foolish as I had feared. "Exactly!" I say. Then I glance over at Liz and notice she's flirting with Michael. I smirk a little at that. Maybe I set her up with the wrong friend originally. Turning my attention quickly back to Tess, I ask, "Would you like to dance?" Now that I'm close enough, even though the lighting is still a little dark, I can see that her eyes are blue, and they're beautiful.

Isabel

Michael seems pretty in to his cooking which is a good thing since it is his job to cook and he seems like a nice enough guy.Alex chimes in about Michael having taught him a thing or two in the kitchen.

"Thanks Alex...yeah, you've got the cooking bug in you... you just have to cultivate it." Michael continues and then I watch as Liz leans in and starts flirting with him.I shake my head slightly and smile.I was wondering when she'd try and dig her claws in to him...poor guy!

After seemingly thinking over liz's suggestion about cooking classes Michael makes a suggestion,"Hey, maybe one of these days I'll you all over, the guys also of course, and have a little dessert demo/class sort of thing."

"Well I'm game for that.Just let me know a few days in advance." Taking a napkin from the table and a pen out of my purse I write my number down on it and hand it to him "Here's my number,call me whenever you decide to have this dessert demo class.Should be fun.Right Alex?" I look over at Alex to include him in the conversation since he's been kind of quiet

ALEX

Can't believe that Michael gets her number before I do. Wait! I can actually believe it - Michael is the bigger babe magnet after all. Not that I'd consider Isabel or Liz as babes but ... well, you know what I mean.

Well, at least I get to spend time with her during my make over. Damn, did I really agree to that? I must certainly be desperate.

"Should be fun.Right Alex?"

"Huh? Oh yeah, certainly." I reply, caught off guard. After a second, I realise she means "Michael's cooking classes". He's a very neat cook so if it aint fun, it will certainly be delicious.

She's Max's sister Alex! Max's sister!

"I'd rather just eat then cook but yeah ... should be fun."

I smile as I stand and hold out my hand for her to take. "I'm sure you don't have a problem with eating. Looks to me like you can eat anything you like and it never would affect you." She place her hand in mine and I start to lead her down to the dance floor.

~LIZ~

I frown slightly at Isabel giving Michael her number but then smile brilliantly, knowing that she's just being nice and really is interested in cooking. "Maybe I should give you my number too. In case you want to call for any reason," I say, pulling out a pen and grabbing a napkin. I write down my number and hand it over to Michael, holding it close to me so that I can touch his hand when he takes it.

What am I doing? I never give my number out like that! Usually I get the guys number or at least wait until I know better whether he and I will hit it off. Oh well, maybe he'll turn out to be a keeper or at least not call me ten times.

OT: Has anyone heard from FaithfulAngel24 lately? I sent her a PM reminding her that it's time to post but I haven't heard back from her yet. Does anyone know if she's ok?

I saw Faith online say about 5 days ago and I saw her on YIM.Didn't get to chat though.
