Isabel

As we walk away from the ferris wheel,our arms wrapped around each other's waists,Alex comments,"I like this ferris wheel, it now holds many fond memories."

I chuckle happily,"I always had a soft spot for them but I think that spot just got bigger."

Looking ahead now I spot a dark head of long hair,"I think I just spotted Liz and if I'm not mistaken,that's Kyle next to her."

Alex

"I think I just spotted Liz and if I'm not mistaken,that's Kyle next to her."

Glancing in the direction Isabel points out, I nod, "Yeah, that's them. They seem to have an intense conversation."

Or at least they seem pretty focused on it. Wonder what it is about. Smirking down at Iz, I ask, "Wanna sneak up on them?"

Isabel

"Wanna sneak up on them?" I notice the sly grin on Alex's face and laugh "Sure,why not!" Holding hands we make our way through the scores of people now making their way in to the carnival ground until we just about reach Liz and Kyle,both of whom are grinning,"BOO!" I wrap my arms around Liz's shoulders from behind "What're you two crazy kids up to?"

Alex

"What're you two crazy kids up to?"

I grin at the two who certainly seem surprised to see us, looks like we did indeed manage to sneak up on them.

"Lets hope it's nothing illegal." I comment with a grin, before greeting the two. "Hey Kyle, how are you? Liz, lovely to see you again."

"Hey, doc, where are you?"

I sigh at her playful banter. "I'm just getting out of my car... I'm so sorry... sometimes I hate my job.... stupid motorists and car accidents!" I sigh again and say, "Where am I meeting you? I'm walking towards the entrance now" I say as I walk.

~LIZ~

My smile grows a bit bigger and I say, "Actually, Kyle and I are standing right inside the entrance by the bench by the cotton candy and popcorn vendor," I tell him. "We'll wait here for you to find us." I hang up just as I feel someone wrap an arm around my shoulders from behind and say, "Boo!" Turning around I see Isabel and Alex...and they're smiling. "What are you two crazy kids up to?" she asks.

I smile at her. "Nothing much. How about you and Alex? He seemed pretty upset about a misunderstanding earlier, but it sure looks like you two worked it out quickly," I tease, shooting a grin at Alex.

I jump a little at Alex and Isabel's sneaking up on us. "Hey, Whitman, what's new?" I ask, slapping him on the back.

Liz's words give me a little hope about Tess and I. Maybe we just had some sort of misunderstanding too...and I just don't know about it yet. Where is she anyway? "Hey, you guys seen Tess anywhere?" I ask.

As soon as she hangs up, I can't help but run to the entrance. Partly because I know she's waiting for me, and partly because... she's with Kyle. And I want her away from him RIGHT NOW.

Fortunitely I'm a fast runner, so I quickly get to the entrance... and see Liz, Kyle... Alex and Isabel.

Great. My ex best friend!!!

I smile at Liz as I come over. "Hey all..." I kiss Liz's cheek and murmur huskily in her ear, "Hey Liz..."

Isabel

"Nothing much. How about you and Alex? He seemed pretty upset about a misunderstanding earlier, but it sure looks like you two worked it out quickly,"

"Oh that" I respond with a flick of my hand "was just a silly misunderstanding on my part and I was too quick to jump to conclusions.But Alex" I let go of Liz and wrap my arms around his waist "explained everything so it's all good now."

"Hey, you guys seen Tess anywhere?" Kyle asks looking kind of anxious
"Uh no I haven't,sorry." Just then Max comes over and greets us all and I watch as he practically nuzzles Liz's ear and I grin at liz before turning to Alex "Let's go for that ride through the Tunnel of Fear that I saw back there."

Taking hold of Alex's hand I am about ready to leave the other three before I remember Kyle,"Kyle you can come too if you want." I doubt he wants to stick besides Liz and Max unless he wants to wait for Tess

Alex

I grin back at Liz, my grin somehow getting even wider when Isabel puts her arm around my waist, moving closer to me. "Oh that" "was just a silly misunderstanding on my part and I was too quick to jump to conclusions.But Alex explained everything so it's all good now."

"Yep, all worked out." I tell Liz just before Max comes up, starting some PDA.

Let's go for that ride through the Tunnel of Fear that I saw back there."

"Yeah, lets go. Bye Liz, bye Max, till later!" I tell the two with a wave of my hand.

"Kyle you can come too if you want."

I frown in surprise when Isabel suggest Kyle should come along. After alll, the Tunnel of Fear is rather dark, inviting to get cozy (if you can ignore the fear) so I don't get it but then I glance at Max and Liz and all becomes clear.

"Yeah, come on man," I quickly tell him, "six eyes will spot Tess sooner anyway. And I'd really like to get something to eat after the tunnel." I say out loud before leaning in to Isabel, whispering into her ear, "I have a feeling it's gonna be a long night and that I'll need some energy."

Isabel

"Yeah, come on man,six eyes will spot Tess sooner anyway. And I'd really like to get something to eat after the tunnel." Good...Alex got the reaosn behind my inviting Kyle along,for a moment he looked confused and a little irritated

I didn't want to leave Kyle high and dry while those two grope each other.

"I have a feeling it's gonna be a long night and that I'll need some energy." I look up at him in surprise and I know I must be blushing a deep scarlett right now "Getting very bold I must say." I mutter to him and quickly look away and smile
